I don't care, but I already had 910 of activity since the beginning of October and ended down with 868. I wonder if this is related to the glitch.

(proof) <- 882 instead of 910. but that was from 10th september.

that or some of your posts were deleted recently. also note that you don't get a PM notification when one of your post get moved to the trashcan along with someone else's topic.

Thanks for your time.

I agree, it's not a problem that a handful of newbies have avatars, it makes their accounts unique and that's always a fun take-away from a buggy evening.

He has posted many times with his avatar after the fix was implemented so maybe it is possible he is the only one still with one?

I know there are at least 4 of them. but there should be others that we missed.
I don't think those avatars are going to get removed. it's not like they're doing any harm with it.

Dang! Missed it. Sad

It was a Special Happy Hour for newbie to member ranks to get an Avatar.

Looks like only one, darkagentx succeeded.
Dang , did no one cared to read my post? It was 2 who succeeded.

Not sure whether avatars were disabled on Dec 2013. It sure was allowed when and after I registered. I noticed it (didn't read your post tho) just as QS did.

Edit: He added it too. So now 2. http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:5euh8LoGYn8J:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php%3Faction%3Dprofile%3Bu%3D185659+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

OK, everything should be back to normal.

thanks, theymos. some newbies and Jr. members was able to upload avatars but I guess it's not a big deal.

They have been removed, I uploaded an avatar to test.
Nope some still have them.
For reference to theymos: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12603676 and https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12603550
And I was probably gonna be scammed for buying a Negative trusted account and saw one guy had Hero member, thank god I noticed his activity and posts.

they would still be there if you didn't try that.  Tongue existing avatars don't get removed. but it will if you try to upload another one while you're below Full Member rank.

I meant, I uploaded an avatar while the activity-glitch was still active. I have not touched my avatar since the initially upload, and it has been taken down once my activity was fixed.
I'm not saying that everyone's has been removed, but in my case it has been and it is probably related to them posting after the fix.
You must have attempted to upload another avatar and your existing one got removed (or something similar).

There is at least one person who still has an avatar who should clearly not have not (based on current guidelines)

That user's last post was 6-minutes before the Fix was finalized. I'm suggesting that once these users post it's possible they'll be removed.
That is possible as well.
