This is a bit off-topic but the path of the eclipse is directly over the Yellowstone Caldera, I can't help but wonder if civilization will end in a few hours due to a supervolcano.

In a more related note I believe that rainbows show the shape of the dome, I don't believe it's possible for them to exist without the domes reflective surface.
