It had all but dwindled away to nothing and then suddenly you have thousands of people online who believe in the flat earth. Are people just getting dumber? They are already dumb, they're not dumbing. To believe without actual proof in a flat earth and to deny the laws of physics without understanding them in the first place means you are already dumb. It's not an offence, it's a reality.
