FCBInside, a site that is usually very well informed about FC Bayern, reports that Xabi Alonso is to succeed Thomas Tuchel after Real Madrid extended Angelotti's contract. Although Alonso still has a contract with Leverkusen until 2026, he would be free to leave the club if he could move to one of his former clubs. It could be as early as the summer if Tuchel does not achieve the goals that are expected of him.

Source: https://fcbinside.de/2023/12/31/trainer-beben-in-muenchen-xabi-alonso-will-offenbar-zum-fc-bayern/

That's going to happen only if xabi will be agreed to join in the bayern munich but it's not yet clear whether alonso was willing to leave from leverkusen before his contract will end. Im doubting xabi to leave from leverkusen earlier if he will able to get a lot of achievements with leverkusen.
So, bayern has prepared itself to sack tuchel once he will not be able to deliver for the club this season? that's a harsh hand from bayern. Tuchel may be in a very big pressure at this moment. It seems his position is not yet safe at all.

Did kane's transfer give another burden to him? I meant since bayern has spent a lot of money and the club needs the manager to deliver more for bayern. Another big challenge is awaiting him.

He is definitely willing to leave if an interesting offer is coming. He would have left the club to Madrid if Real would not have extend the contract with Angelotti.
Xabi Alonso also had it written into his contract with Leverkusen that he can leave the club before 2026 if he could move to one of his ex-clubs (namely Bayern, Real or Liverpool). He wouldn't have had such a clause inserted if he didn't have that goal.
That's how Bayern Munchen maintains its dominance so that it can continue to dominate the Bundesliga. Great players or coaches at other clubs will be teased to join them, I also understand that only a few will refuse an offer that comes from them, including Xabi Alonso. I think it's not something new either, we've seen this scenario happen many times, but the most important thing now is to see to what maintain Xabi is able to bring Laverkusen consistently.

On the other hand, Tuchel also cannot be said to be bad even though his team is currently not leading the standings, because in terms of opportunities Bayern still has the potential to defend the trophy again. In fact, I see that Bayern are very favorites in the UCL, it is true that their elimination in the DFB Pokal made Tuchel a little depressed. If Tuchel is fired, then no manager ever won the UCL in the Bundesliga.

At Real Madrid, they have a strong liking for Xabi Alonso's potential as a head coach, and they believe that sooner or later, he will take on the role at Real Madrid. Recently, Real Madrid extended Ancelotti's contract until 2026. It will be delayed Xabi will leave his current club for Madrid before 2026. Summing up the substantial timeframe, he might consider moving to one of his former clubs during this period. Anything is possible, and Xabi Alonso has certainly earned the opportunity to work with a top team as a head coach.

To me it looks all set up for Xabi Alonso to go to Real Madrid in 2026. Of course this all depends whether or not we will see some coaches get sacked and so on. But if Ancelotti fulfills his contract with Real Madrid and Xabi Alonso does not get bought out from Leverkusen or does not get sacked until then, I think that would be a smooth transition and enough time for everyone to do all the necessary planning for the future. Leverkusen knows that there is hardly any chance to keep Alonso beyond the year 2026 when his contract ends.

There was an update regarding the future of him in the manchester united. Varane has not yet decided whether he would be agree to reduce his salary then he can stay in manchester united much longer. Varane can also leave from there as free agent.
There may be some clubs are interested to sign him as new defenders. He had been linked to the real madrid talk a few weeks ago but it's all disappeared in a short time. Varana shall decide which thing that is going to be taken by him.

Varane was playing perfectly in the last game and the club needs also to put more effort coz they think that if varane shall decrease his salary on manchester united.
United seems not interested to extend his contract and he can leave from there as free agent. It will be helping him so much caused by varane may be having other considerations.

I prefer to see him join in another club.

Varane when he joined United was in shape, he's not lost shape though but the current situation of United isn't so appealing to before him. He deserves better than what he's got with United so far. For me, it won't be a bad idea to leave the club now. They need restructuring and Varane doesn't have much time to spare.
He's an European cup star and so he's got to be accorded that class, he necessarily don't have to wait for United to be open to him, he should on his own make his moves.

His contract with them is counting near it's end and I don't think United themselves will be willing to let him stay for an extension either. Reduction in his salary too is just not right to some extent but what can he do than to cope till his time is up with them. Maybe the January transfer window won't work for him, hopefully we'd hear news about him during the summer period.

Some of players at Premier league will leave their teams because they will defend their national team at African Cup including Manchester United who possibly will lost Andre Onana for next 1 month because he will defend Cameroon so Ten Hag was demand new goalkeeper because if Andre Onana leave then Manchester United don't have experience goalkeeper at their squad and rumour is Manchester United has showing their interest to Lazio goalkeeper Ivan Provedel and Ten Hag feel Ivan Provedel will be suitable as the replacement of Andre Onana and so far Provedel hasn't respond to this rumour but some people thought this transfer will be difficult to realized because Provedel is important player and he is Lazio main goalkeeper so Lazio might be will hold this player to leave but everything still possible to happend so let see whether Manchester United will gets this player or not
In addition to the exit of Onana for AFCON duties in Cote'dvoire Mo.Salah who had been very outstanding for Liverpool this season would be missed and I believe his exit would have much impact in the team unlike Onana who had been average so far, other notable players that would also participate include Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey (Fulham), Ola Aina and Serge Aurier (Nothingham Forest), West Ham would miss in-form Mohammed Kudus who had been very brilliant this season, Jordan Ayew who plays for Crystal Palace will also be out for AFCON duty, Pape Matar Sarr (Tottenham), Nicolas Jackson (Chelsea) two key players for their respective clubs, Man Utd would also miss Amrabat, and few other players whom I believe some of the EPL clubs might miss the absence of those key players.due to their impact.

It seems clear that seeing the progress shown by Xabi Alonso has made FC Bayern interested in his style of play. For me this is good news a coaching candidate who  is able to make FC Bayern players increasingly become scary monsters in Xabi hands. Leverkusen has always been open  from the start because they know that the coach they currently have cannot be prevented in other words Leverkusen really understands that with Xabi abilities he will become  an extraordinary coach in the future. Plus Leverkusen is in need of a budget so it is not surprising  that the price offered  will be quite high.

Xabi will not leave Leverkusen next season, because he signed a new contract with them that runs until 2026.

Although the "old clubs poaching" clause exists so he could theoretically jump ship to Bayern if he ever wanted before then, but also to Real Madrid or Liverpool.

It would be hilarious if Bayern and Kane end up winning no trophies this season though.

Well the odds are good for Bayern that they will win the Bundesliga title, but apart from that they got eliminated from the DFB Pokal and the Champions League is unpredictable. So it would really primarily come down to the Bundesliga title and thank god we finally have some competition again for Bayern.

Alonso will certainly remain the coach of Leverkusen for a while. Ancelotti extended his contract, Klopp has no plans to leave Liverpool and this leads me to the news that have been circulating in Germany once again: there are now some claims that Liverpool is the club with the biggest chances to sign Mbappe. If this is true, I am sure that it would also be a reason for Klopp to reconsider and stay even longer than 2026. I think he would be willing to extend the era way beyond what he has shaped already. And I would like it a lot. Mbappe going to Liverpool would be exciting.

With the current conditions I still feel confident if Tuchel can give the 2nd Bundesliga title this season. But for the UCL, I'm a little pessimistic. Because there are many other great clubs that are ready to compete with Bayern Munich. So if they see the basis of the UCL champion then it is quite difficult. But if later Munich sacked Tuchel, I think it's not the best solution. At least 2-3 years is the best time to evaluate. Changing coaches in a short time is also not good.
There is no need to doubt Tuchel's quality as a coach, he is one of the great coaches still active today. He has achieved various achievements during his career as a coach, Tuchel's best achievement was when he led Chelsea to win the Champions League after beating Manchester City in the final.
Since taking over as coach of Bayern Munich, he has made a good impression with his experience at several different clubs. Bayern Munich is in the best condition and continues to be consistent in the Bundesliga and Champions League, if he is fired because he failed to bring Bayern Munich to become champions in the UCL, I think Bayern Munich has made a big mistake.

Bayern Munich did a good move to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur, atleast the Englishman is in bundesliga, more especially in Allianz Arena to win titles, to cover up for the wasted years he played for Tottenham Hotspur without achieving any solid title. The only challenge the attacked would encounter is goal scoring, we know how dangerous he is on the pitch, he keep triggering goals to enable
Harry Kane is not facing any difficulty in Bayern Munich because he's teammates have good chemistry going on and they're available to give him crucial assists on the pitch.

I don't think Lazio will  allow their main goal keeper leave at this point of the season. It could also mean that ETH want to bring in an experienced player who will rival Onana. Onana need a serious competition for that position so he won't be making some costly mistakes he has been doing since the start of the season.

Unexpected elite clubs have enter the race to sign Mason Greenwood from Manchester United, he's on a loan deal in Getafe and he would possibly return back to England after his contract expires.

He's not going back to an English club, that would be a PR disaster for them if he signed there.

That's going to happen only if xabi will be agreed to join in the bayern munich but it's not yet clear whether alonso was willing to leave from leverkusen before his contract will end. Im doubting xabi to leave from leverkusen earlier if he will able to get a lot of achievements with leverkusen.

Getafe enjoyed the English man stellar performance this season and he will continue to portrayed more significance display to forward his career after it almost ended. Mason greenwood once again become the main topic in la liga. It's caused by some clubs have been sending their interest to recruit him as new managers.

Quote
Atletico Madrid have reportedly joined Barcelona in the race to sign Mason Greenwood, with transfer talks opened with Manchester United.
https://www.goal.com/en/lists/atletico-madrid-mason-greenwood-transfer-talks-beat-barcelona-race-man-utd-outcast/blt094bb59b8b3ea9b2

According to the goal if barcelona and real madrid have interest to recruit him as the new attacker since greenwood has very cheap price and he can also contribute a lot as long as he will be well developed by the coach.
It seems like that manchester united still holds the interest from those clubs caused by manchester united unlikely try to sell him at the cheap price. I expect MU to force those clubs to pay a lot of money for him.

The reason for Mason being sent on loan to La Liga was his conflict with the internal affairs of Manchester United, which we knew about. Im gonna wait which club that will get him soon.

Barcelona is having interest caused by greewood is an experienced player and he may be probably cheap enough.

In my opinion, it would be a wrong decision if Munich just fired Tuchel just because they saw that Alonso was able to provide the best achievements for Bayer Leverkusen at this time, at least Munich should hold back and see if Alonso can win the Bundesliga title with Bayer Leverkusen which means he is better than Tuchel.
Well, just Munich decided to fire Tuchel and appoint him as coach. However, in my opinion, Tuchel is a coach who has a lot of experience compared to Alonso, so my suggestion is that it is better to keep Tuchel at least until we see Munich's achievements this season. Changing coaches may not necessarily suit Munich's style of play.

Real Madrid seems to remain firm in its stance not to recruit new players, especially to fill the back line this season. Ancelotti relies on existing players or indeed Anelcelotti does not want his current stability to be disturbed by dealing with the adaptation of new players. In my opinion, additional options are important when financial conditions are favorable, but there is no harm for Madrid if they are able to bring in new players who can fill gaps in the back line. Ancelotti placed Nacho and Rüdiger as center backs, then his options were Tchouaméni and Carvajal.

What do you think? Can Madrid afford to rely on limited players? By facing a busy schedule, players are definitely required to remain in top condition. Isn't it ideal that having anticipation could be a solution? Next month restarts the UCL and Madrid doesn't take advantage of the transfer window?

Is it possible that Lazio will release this key player? Even with the main goalkeeper Lazio is not performing very well this season and has conceded quite a lot of goals, especially if they let go of their main goalkeeper and their reserve goalkeeper turns out to be unable to play better, it will certainly make their position in Serie A even more difficult.
However, anything is possible because usually, Manchester United will make a tempting offer if they really want a player, especially if his presence is quite crucial in the team because without Onana and only relying on a backup goalkeeper for a month will make it difficult for Manchester United to get points in some tight matches, and money can often change things.

Van De Beek has officially been loaned to Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt, after having difficulty competing for United main squad to play regularly. In other news, Varane is currently in discussions regarding his contract which will expire at the end of the season. if Varane is not willing to reduce his salary then United will let him go on a free transfer at the end of the season.

We know that Ten Hag is improving The Red Devils defense line, several names are being linked. We also can't forget that last january the recruitment of players like Mason Mount was quite bad, Ten Hag has to be really selective in recruiting new players.
I still think that Van De Beek could have been used a lot more properly and not getting any minutes is a managerial terrible decision. These type of decisions are the reason why I think that ETH could be fired one day, I am not sure when, but he has made a lot of bad decisions regarding roster choices since he got there.

What I believe is that he is a good manager when it comes to tactics, he is doing the very best with what he has, people think that he is bad because he is a bad manager when it comes to on pitch moves, but the reality is that his team was overspent but not as talented as the money they spent.

Like Onana, who has done terrible, or like Hojlund who they paid so much and yet he scored not even that much at Serie A or like Antony who was bought for so much and they are trying to get rid of him. Those all matter, and he had fingers on every single one of them.

As was revealed several weeks ago, Donny van De Beek has finally officially joined Frankfurt on loan until the end of this season. The news is quite surprising because we have barely seen his performance at Manchester United for half this season and he made the right decision by joining Frnakfurt. At least he will start getting regular minutes with Frankfurt and try to give his best performance. Even though his performance is quite doubtful, at least he can prove that Manchester United have misjudged him.

Source: https://twitter.com/DeadlineDayLive/status/1741784625184166068

Yeah, he atleast now has the chance to prove that he has the calibre to play for big teams. With United it was doubt from the beginning with all the players in midfield. It's tough for a player to come in a big team with fierce competition for the playing. With Frankfurt, it's also still not clear if he will get starting minutes in all the games but it is for sure that he will get at least decent amount of chances as compared to situation at Untied where it was none.
Since changing coaches, Van de Beek's future is unclear and because of that he seems to be an outcast in the Manchester United squad. I don't know why Manchester United don't just let him go as a permanent transfer if they no longer really need him in the squad and whether they are just in case if Van de Beek proves his performance has improved then they can take him again. The reason is that the situation is similar to what Mason Greenwood faced considering his impressive performance with Getafe and it is possible that the Red Devils do not want to lose him and are trying to lure him back.

On the other hand, there is Lucas Beraldo who was also officially announced to join PSG today and as a young talent from Brazil it is hoped that he can help PSG's defense line become stronger. As a defender, that is of course what coach Luis Enrique wants and with the increasingly busy competition schedule starting in 2024, he certainly hopes that Lucas Beraldo will be a good solution for the team.

Source: https://twitter.com/DeadlineDayLive/status/1741810623933992985

I feel that this signing is somewhat like one for the future and not for the regular squad. They already have good no. of players in defence so I think Beraldo right into regular defence lineup scene is doubtful. Maybe in future he will be regular but as of now there are lot of options that I feel Luis Enrique will give priority over Beraldo.
Well, at least PSG didn't lose Beraldo and they immediately secured his services because we know teams like Liverpool were interested in signing him too. But it is true that here PSG has full power to carry out the transfer from Sau Paulo. He has to endure waiting for his regular turn and at least be able to adapt to the environment, which is what he needs now at PSG. I hope his choice to join the Paris capital team is not something he will regret one day.
