Arsenal are reportedly monitoring Mateo Retegui who has impressed this season, scoring 14 goals in 19 appearances in all competitions, including 12 in Serie A. Arsenal may have to compete with PSG as the French club are also very interested in signing him.
Retegui impressive form with Atalanta has seen top European clubs vying for his signature, he is considered the most attractive property in the front line, Arteta must convince the player if he wants to get him to the Emirates stadium because PSG are also looking to strengthen their front line.

I consider this a waste of time and also, speculated update. Arsenal do not need to sign another Gabriel Jesus,  they need to introduce in someone who can give them 25 premier league competition goals in a full season and the name above can't do that for them if he is signed. I will say they make the move for Isak right now since he is a premier league proven player and striker,  he suits that squad perfectly.

Ooops! Camavinga is out, the list has increased and Real Madrid is in more troubles.
Alaba out;
Cavajah out;
Militao out;
Rodrygo out;
Tchouameni out;
Vini Junior out;
Now Camavinga out;
I am very sorry Ancelotti, it seems you are going to struggle longer with Pep.
To be honest, I don't know how Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is going to manage the injury issues at the club especially now that Eduardo Camavinga will join the list of the club players that are sidelined. Carlo Ancelotti in the past have proven to be a manager that's very capable of managing situations like this and I have full trust on him to also get the best results with the players that are currently fit to play

Look at the list of injured players, I feel sorry for Real Madrid. How will they manage until all those players will be fully fit to play again for them. These injuries are coming at the worse time and will put more pressure on Kylian Mbappe. Their performance so far in the Champions League has been short of their usual standard. I know Ancelotti is a good coach, and with the transfer fast approaching, Real Madrid will be actively involved in the transfer market so they can add new players to the team and also be able to provide backup to the injured players .
I feel really sorry for Ancelotti and his injured players, times like this are difficult to cope but what makes a great coach or perhaps the best club/team is being able to withstand pressure and this sort of scenarios. I don't know how this list of players can go injured, it's a very bad condition for the team but lucky to them because even their worst contender is not even taking the opportunities of obtaining solid points while Madrid is facing this huge trauma, they still end up losing points on each of their games, now Ancelotti is just little points away from taking the lead even with his first squad players on the bench.

There is no doubt that M Salah is an important player in the Liverpool squad, it would be a big mistake to let him go at the end of the season. It is difficult to find a replacement for M Salah in the transfer market, the management should be able to offer him a short-term contract. Speculation about M Salah future will continue to be the subject of speculation, and has the potential to disrupt Liverpool journey in the Premier League and Champions League if the management is late in taking action.
Agree. It will be a mistake if Liverpool doesn't extend his contract. Liverpool still has no player who can replace the role of M Salah. It will also be difficult to get a new player with the same level as M Salah. The best option is to keep him in the squad as long as he can contribute positively for the team. I assume Liverpool board has a problem with the amount of Salah's salary, so they consider to let him go. However, I think Salah actually deserves to get big salary because he can show his crucial contribution for the team until now.

By the way, I don't think this issue will bother Salah's performance. Salah looks quite professional, he never showed declining performance although his future is unclear in Liverpool team. However, it is better to extend his contract very soon, so it won't bother Salah's focus on playing both in EPL and UCL competition.

Saudi Pro League club Al Ittihad, reportedly very interested in recruiting him, and is ready to offer a special deal. M Salah openly said that Liverpool have not offered a new contract extension for him, and this indicates that the player will leave for free at the end of the season.
I think not only Al Ittihad will be interested in M Salah. Al Nassr must also try to sign M Salah, they want make a combo Mane-Salah again. It will be amazing if Al Nassr can have a trio Ronaldo-Salah-Mane in their attacking line. Al Nassr attacking will be sharper and probably easier to beat Al Hilal or other strong teams in SPL.

As I saw this picture from a friend of mine Facebook timeline I was like wow, this is actually a good catch by Leicester city, he might not be the biggest of names of coaches, but he is actually the right man who I believe that can deliver the right result for them, and to be honest, I think that Manchester united made a very big mistake not retaining his services at the club, because it's a club he knows very well and what it entails on how to manage his players and get the right result.
So looking at his record as a coach at psv and as a caretaker manager at Manchester united, I am very much positive that he can improve this Leicester city side because he is actually the right fit for the job no doubt.
That is definitely a bold move. Ruud did alright with United when he was there for just four games, and I do not think that he is going to be that different at Leicester City, he will be a decent enough manager but the team is one that is fighting to stay. That's literally the explanation of success there, just don't go back down to Championship, that's it. If he finishes the season 17th with just one point ahead of 18th, or even like just one goal difference up, as long as he is 17th and doesn't go down, that's literally success for them.

Managing a team like that is always super tough, think about it, everybody in the world is expecting you to relegate, and that is a super tough job to get. I don't know if he will succeed or not, but I am sure that it will be very tough for sure.

I have seen this tweet recently and it has made me really curious... Where do you think he is preparing to go?  Huh

He hasn't been having so many minutes of playing time for a while. And now he is said to be suffering a hamstring injury. Meanwhile I have seen this and it has drawn my attraction.

You know there were some rumours regarding Manchester City to be interested in him. I wonder whether his next station could be there. Whether it is there or not, I hope he finds a solid team for himself where he can play regularly.
I think Rodrigo indicated to us that I am ready for play. He has posted the countdown emoji because he is fully recovered. It means ready for next. Tomorrow Real Madrid will play against Getafe, and I am pretty sure that Real Madrid will include Rodrigo's name in the squad. Rodrigo was good in today's training session as well, he must have meditated well, I mean he will be ready for tomorrow's match. I think Real Madrid fans will be very happy with Rodrigo's recovery. Because they were missing Rodrigo due to injury and the absence of him made some bit of a lack in the attacking. Thus far, an extra boost can be made for the team until Vinicus Junior is recorded.

Apart from that, it is also true that Manchester City has taken a lot of interest in Rodrigo. Pep wants to sign Rodrigo. But I don't think Real Madrid will allow Rodrigo to leave the club so easily. Because Rodrigo is the key player of Real Madrid. But anyway let's see what happens next.

I assume that is what it is about. Fabrizio Romano is a troll and he takes every single tweet and retweets it if he can draw some attention to his account. It's boring to be honest and this one was easy. He is presumably on a good track to be fully recovered and be back soon and even if there is another intention behind that tweet, that wouldn't be surprising either.

But Rodrygo has a contract until 2028 and if you look at the problematic situation Real Madrid is now in, I think they are not very eager to let key players go unless they receive a strongly convincing offer. Money can make everything possible of course, but I am certain that Real Madrid would want a good substitute for him before they make a final decision about a transfer. They can feel the mess right now when the team can't rotate easily anymore because so many players are injured.

He posted this because he is cured of the injury and will play tomorrow, I say this because I saw this news that talks about him playing tomorrow:

“Rodrygo is back and available for tomorrow”, says Carlo Ancelotti as the Brazilian winger returns ahead of schedule.

source: https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1862851206424510486

He has been a good player in the national team, but at Real Madrid he has problems scoring goals consistently, but when he plays he can make good assists. The problem is that as an attacker he was supposed to be able to score goals regularly, for that reason the Real Madrid coach has not put him to play from the start, but for tomorrow's game I believe he will play from the start of the game because Real Madrid needs to win tomorrow to be able to reach Barcelona or even surpass Barcelona, because today Barcelona lost.

I thought Arsenal were interested in signing Victor Osimhen to strengthen their front line. Mateo Retegui is a talented player with a relatively low market value of £38m, I suspect the price tag is one of the reasons Arsenal are opting for the player. Mateo Retegui would be an excellent bargain for Arsenal. He is fast, strong and he is strong, he will surely add a significant depth to Arsenal attacking options.

It's weird to see Ruud accept Leicester's offer. He battered that club twice in a row when he was at Manchester United. I meant it was a tough job for him, he has to start with a very bad material unlike when his previous club.

I see this as a degrade for his career considering he gone from a big club to the midtable club. I was hoping him to get a better club, but it seems he wants a serious challenge at Leicester City. I only genuinely excited about how he deal with the low quality squad to avoid the relegation zone.

This seems his major challenge as a new caretaker of Leicester City. Let's see how big his effort to help his new club to avoid relegation zone.
I disagree. It is not degrading on Ruud’s career to accept a managerial position at Leicester City. It’s true he’s is not going to have an easy job at Leicester City, they are struggling in the EPL and are just two points off the relegation zone. With what we have seen him do so far at a short time as an interim manager at Manchester United, it will be a even bigger boost to his career if he can avoid relegation and make something of Leicester City in the Premier League.

Yes, you are right. Salah and Sadio Mane were key players that carried Liverpool during a crucial period. I was not happy when Liverpool decided to let Mane go. The trio of Mo Salah, Mane and Firmino was really interesting to watch. It’s disappointing they had to break that up because of money problems. I think Liverpool should give Salah a contract because he continues to deliver for the club. It seems unfair to me, considering Salah has been their best player for several years and have shown loyalty and consistency at the club.

Seriously the departure of Sadio Mane from Liverpool actually contributed to their last two seasons lack of form. He was the engine that allow the players other three flow. Their trio with Firmino didn’t only terrorize the premier league alone but also the European biggest competition too, Mane had little problem with Liverpool and he went on to agree with Bayern Munich before Liverpool wanted to give him a contract extension then and he said it was late because he had agree to move to Bayern Munich, although the Bayern Munich move was as a disaster too I wouldn’t blame him that much for taking a step up. Right Liverpool are making Sarne mistake with Salah by delaying his contract extension, there will be many clubs now actually looking into this and any juicy deal can come in for him and Liverpool wouldn’t be able to convince him anymore. They seriously need to act better and fast

Salah and Mane were the two players that were moving Liverpool at a time, considering other potential players and hoping the game of Liverpool with the arrival of new and young players, the board wanted to let one player go and keep the second one. Salah was the best choice for the team board to keep that time and I must say they made a very good decision in keeping him even though Mane himself is a great player and would have performed well as Salah is now.

No contract extension talks for Salah uptil now may only mean two things; they got a replacement underground for him or they feel his services will soon be over and won’t be that relevant for them again, so they should just terminate his contract and he goes get another team considering his age also now. Whatever their decision may be, Salah still remains a very quality player they should not let go now even if a replacement is coming soon. They should have them both and allow the game to balance more without Salah before allowing him to go. This season has been a great one for Liverpool and Salah is one of their strong and best players that is making this happen for them this season.

If Nistelrooy made United better then why are United still playing badly? Because of Amorim?  Grin I still think that nothing fundamentally can be changed in a few games, but Nistelrooy showed himself well, so he attracted the attention of clubs that want changes but cannot afford top options. Therefore, this move is quite logical.

Some people are delusional because they see 2 or 3 good results (not good games) and then conclude that a coach has had magical impact on what was clearly a bad team beforehand, is now a world class squad able to conquer the Premier League. But I guess you know that this is what people say who have no clue about football or any other sport.

A coach in the short term can have some impact on mentality aspects, but not strategy or improve players fundamentally within 2 weeks. Amorim took on a damn hard job. He did it because he was offered this chance, but bringing Manchester United back to world class is perhaps a losing battle. The team needs at least this whole season and the next season to build something that they can rely on for the future.

In Portugal Amorim was doing amazing stuff with Sporting, but here he has to compete with Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Newcastle and all the other teams are not low hanging fruit either. This is a different world now.

Yes, that's true, the arrival of any coach makes the players refresh/mobilize and this can temporarily improve the team's results, but this does not mean that in the long term something has changed. It will only be possible to evaluate Amorim's success next season, since he is currently working with what he inherited from his predecessor at the height of the season. And it is far from certain that he will be successful at this higher level. But at the moment at least I see that he is adequate, unlike Ten Hag who played the game "I am the big boss". At Ajax it worked, but at a top club with top players there was no chance to avoid tension in the dressing room.

Nistelrooy became Man United coach for a short time, but even so, he was skilled enough to make Man United better than before. That his brief achievements made Leicester attracted to him, and of course, he is expected to revive Leicester which is currently in a slump but I doubt if Nistelrooy will have a smooth path because unlike at Man United, where he had been there for quite a long time before being appointed as interim coach, so at least he already knows the characteristics of each Man United player well enough. Meanwhile, at Leicester, he definitely was a new man, and he will most likely need to adapt first.

If Van Nistelrooy can fix the problem in Manchester United, it means he should able to fix the problem in other teams too. Leicester City is currently in bad performance, they haven't won in the last five match, that's why they choose to sack the old manager and recruit Van Nistelrooy.

They will meet Brentford as the first debut for Van Nistelrooy, not an easy team, but they should able to get a draw.

It's not as easy as you said. Van Nistelrooy can fix United's problem when he was a temporary caretaker, but MU has better squad. They have lots of quality players, but what about Leicester City? It's full with bunch of non quality players.

It's very obvious Van Nistelrooy can't use the same approach that he did to the Manchester United. Different club, different resource and approach. That's is.
From my own point of view definitely there isn't going to be too much expectations from Leceister City after hiring
 Van Nistelrooy I believe Leceister City board and management hired him based on his good record as a short term in charge of Man Utd, probably he was hired to take charge and improve the team just like how Enzo Maresca promoted them from championship to premier league, however it's absolutely going to be difficult to manage Leceister City at this point in time when the team lack quality players and lack of depth, presently the team is losing 1-3 to Brentford hopefully he takes charge after today's match.
Yeah, But if Van Nistelrooy is determined to be productive in his job, he can work and build a good team with what is in place in his arrival, it all about good tactics,  strategy and the players in their obeying to his terms of management and as well giving in their best of play, though it isn’t gonna be something magical but something that would happen with time.

There is no doubt that M Salah is an important player in the Liverpool squad, it would be a big mistake to let him go at the end of the season. It is difficult to find a replacement for M Salah in the transfer market [...]

Igor Paixão, perhaps?

He is a young and talented Brazilian player who has been attracting attention in Europe by shining in the Feyenoord jersey. Raised in the youth ranks of Coritiba (BRA), Igor transferred to the Dutch team in 2022 and quickly established himself as one of the team's key players. Recently, in the match against Manchester City in the Champions League, the striker had a remarkable performance, contributing to his team's draw with a vital assist.

I believe that Igor's performance reflects his ability to face opposing defenses with skill and determination. Against Pep Guardiola's renowned team, Igor showed his quality by winning several close duels and I believe that this performance is not going unnoticed by the public and football experts who are filling the sports news with this speculation.
It will be difficult to find a perfect replacement for Salah at Liverpool in the transfer market. Igor Paixão is a name that has been mentioned as a potential replacement though the news is just a rumour and Liverpool yet to confirm their interest in the player, but while he is relatively young and has been in good form for his club in their domestic league and also in the Champions League, he may not yet have what it takes to fill in Salah’s boot at Liverpool. Can Igor Paixão replace Salah and be the main man for Liverpool?

This is the reason why Mbappe not as successful as when he was in PSG, Mbappe approaching Bellingham, but Bellingham choose to talk with Rudiger.

The players don't have a good chemistry, Ancelotti should being assertive and make the players to respect each other, make Mbappe to feel Real Madrid is his home.

If Mbappe still can't perform, I think we already know who was the one make Mbappe can be like this.

Are you joking? Mbappe was successful in PSG caused by any players should have feed him with the ball. He had Messi and Neymar helped him, yet no UCL trophy for him. You call Mbappe successful at PSG, but he never won UCL, weird.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I'm sorry, but Mbappe has decided to choose Hazard's path, he's gonna be a flop. People were very weird to labelled him as the next Ronaldo. Mbappe is finished, and i hope they put him off the pitch. Real Madrid better without him.  Roll Eyes
There is a difference between Hazard and Mbappe though, Hazard was at least injured almost all of his Real Madrid career, and he was a flop because he never tried to come back, by the time he decided to retire he was a fat out of shape guy already, nobody really expected him to comeback and do anything, everyone given up on him way before he retired. Mbappe is still playing, and he is still young and he is doing terrible at the moment.

While I understand that he didn't win anything major at PSG, only the league title, we could at least see his personal stats, he scored a lot and that meant something, dude was one of the highest scorers in all top five leagues every season, as far as I can remember never the top one, but always high up, and that made people believe he is great, and I mean he is of course a good player nobody can deny that but he is way below what people think he is. That's his problem, they think he is 90/100 when in reality he is at best 75/100, which causes him a lot of issues with expectations, expect less from him and he will do fine.

Man, there's nothing to see but a player announcing to his followers that he'll be coming from injury soon to help the club; he used Fabrizio's term, but it has nothing to do with his contract or transfer.

 He hasn't played many minutes since Mbappe joined the team, but there is no sign that he wants to go, nor is Manchester City's interest genuine.
