Yes, that is true.  As long as Mbappé thinks that he can do better or get a good amount of money compared to what Real Madrid is going to offer him, he is not going to be a part of the team mentally. and that is obviously going to affect his performance in the field. No I don't think Haaland makes his own career path be dependent on players like Walker or De Bruyne. Haaland really is someone who pursues his own career plans. So does he want to break all Premier League records as a striker or would he rather play for several big clubs and is his dream to play for Real Madrid ever? I think for now he is very satisfied with his position at Manchester City and also his performances. After all it's a fact that the Premier League is the most attractive league in the world and becoming the most successful striker in the toughest league is a great goal to have. But that doesn't mean he won't ever change his mind at some point. He will also see what the coaches are doing and where he can work together with the best only. Guardiola now is the best.

Im not sure about this, real madrid didn't require a lot of money to get mbappe but the club needs to spend a lot of money for haaland. The only problem if mbappe and haaland will be received high salaries that may push the salary cap of real madrid.
