Manchester United decided to stop working with De Gea and they hired another goalkeeper, since Onana and Ten Hag were both working at Ajax, Ten Hag asked the team to hire Onana during the summer.
Te nHag was hoping to see a better performance from Onana than what he saw from De Gea but in the end. But Onana is not in a good situation at Manchester United and there is new a chance for Jan Oblak to join Manchester United from Atletico Madrid.
https://www.bbc.com/sport/articles/c72ml4zk4k2oThis is just mere speculations and I would say Rumors that have no strong hold, Manchester United do not have that financial capability now to make such move, Onana was signed for around $50M and signed a contract of close to five fears, should United opted to offload him then they would spend more because not many clubs have that amount to spend on a goal keeper now. If they then go ahead to sign Oblak then united will be having three goalkeepers on a heavy pay roll and that is what they are avoiding.
Onana might be having a hard or bad start to life at Manchester United but that doesn’t mean he is not good but rather it is the team that is yet to understand the new playing pattern and as such no goalkeeper would be able to solve this problem for them. De Gea was taunted when he arrived but settled in to became a club legend and I see Onana having such path too.
At the moment, not many clubs are aware of such a talent but it will only take a short time for top European clubs to be alerted of such a talented player before they start making enquiries of his availability. AC Milan have a huge advantage being one of the teams to find such a talent first, how well they can move for him will determine the possibility of striking a deal with Stuttgard for the player.
Serhou Guirassy is in a great form of his life, I watched few matches last season where he helped Stuttgart avoid relegation and this season he is on track to help them finish at the top half of the table. He currently his the highest goa scorer in Europe top five leagues and if he continues like this till winter transfer then Stuttgart will have to lose him.
Talking about him moving to Arsenal I see it as a good move for both sides. For the player he will be playing in the most difficult and most watched league in the world and Also be playing in the biggest club competition which is the UCL. From Arsenal perspective I have usually said it that they made a mistake letting Balogun leave to Monaco. Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus aren’t a proper pointed man striker like Balogun and Guirassy. With a player like Guirassy Arsenal have another option of going up when it doesn’t work out at possession football. This was what changed at Manchester City that lead them to the treble
