Napoli decision to let Victor Osimhen go is disappointing mistake. Given Chelsea desperate need for talented striker like him it is surprising they did not secure the deal sooner. Waiting until mid season may prove costly. Osimhen departure is significant loss for Napoli and fans like myself are eager to see how team will recover. Perhaps Napoli can still turn things around and surprise everyone. But still it is a Question mark.

You can say that both teams made the biggest mistake of their lives, first by letting go of such a good player while he was in the ranks of their team and Chelsea for not completing his signing, I think they have been big losers for not having this great player, for now the great Galatasaray can enjoy the benefits of this player, for me one of the best in Nigeria, and I think things are obvious from miles away, now many will speculate that when the transfer windows open they will be very well taken advantage of by Chelsea, I am sure of that.

Man Utd left to look silly as reason for snubbing Victor Osimhen emerges

Quote
Manchester United reportedly agreed two reasons to opt against launching a swoop for Victor Osimhen in Erik ten Hag's first summer transfer window. But the profile of the two strikers brought to Old Trafford under the Dutchman's watch makes one of the club's alleged grounds for the snub bemusing.

Barcelona has lose ter stegen until the end of the season after Barcelona confirmed that if their main goalkeeper suffered an ACL injury and had to be absent for a long time, losing ter stegen is definitely a loss for Barcelona considering that Barcelona consistency and performance this season cannot be separated from his impressive performance under the crossbar, they have a second goalkeeper (inaki) at the moment but they don't seem to think he is capable of replacing ter stegen position currently, Barcelona was rumored to be recruiting Keylor Navas but it seems that Navas who has played for Madrid is not easy for them to get so Szczesny is an alternative ops for Barcelona, reportedly the two parties are currently almost completing a short-term contract agreement with a salary that Barcelona is still able to fully is around 3 million euros, besides that the deal will not affect his financial rights as a Juventus player, He has indeed declared his retirement before but he is still bound by another year of contract with Juventus and is entitled to the severance pay and bonuses he will get so far from Juventus before his contract expires.
It's better for Barcelona to recruit Szczesny rather than Navas because Szczesny was more active than Navas, he even still play for Poland in International League, that's proofing if he still able to play in top tier.

Barcelona not have much options, they can only sign old top players that are in free agent status since they don't have enough money to pay signing fees.

I read interesting news today that Szczesny may return to the game. This summer he announced his retirement. But now it has become known that Barcelona are negotiating with the goalkeeper and perhaps he will decide to return to the game to become Barcelona's goalkeeper during Ter Stegen's absence. Honestly, I do not consider him a very reliable goalkeeper, especially since he most likely did not prepare for the new season, since he retired, it will take time to get into shape. I don't know, a bit of a questionable choice for Barcelona, but these are still only rumors.
Szczesny is not the ideal goalkeeper to replace Ter Stegen but Barcelona needs an experienced goalkeeper for now and if compared to the second goalkeeper then his name is much better. Losing Ter Stegen will affect Barcelona so whether they like it or not they have to find a more ideal replacement for a while. But if Barcelona does not succeed in convincing Szczesny then the solution is they can rely on the second goalkeeper as a cover for Ter Stegen.

Several important matches will be played by Barcelona and the loss of Ter Stegen due to injury can affect the results if the ideal goalkeeper is not found. This will be a serious problem for Barcelona because they will play in several big competitions this season.

Disagreed. I think Szczesny is a good goalkeeper. He has much experience playing in the big clubs (Arsenal & Juventus). He is a plug-and-play solution to keep us in the race for the title. He is the only one that is at our level at this moment who's available. And i don't even see a better candidate to replace Ter Stegen's position other than him. It's good if he's joining barcelona.

Florian Writz is being sought after by Liverpool and Real Madrid he is a young player who has good skills during his time at Leverkusen, this will be a fierce hunt between the two top clubs to get his signature but Leverkusen do not want to lose this player easily the club has set a fairly high price for Florian Writz and I think Real Madrid and Liverpool are a little burdened with the price considering 150 million euros is not a small amount for them even though they are financially capable.

Source : Twitter
Xabi Alonso ready to lose up his attacking line in Leverkusen? I don't think so because the manager have more odds of adding to the club's performance and stats. Bayer Leverkusen slapping such huge amount on this rare talent in the club seems to amazed everyone. Two clubs in the race to sign Florian Writz next season, this would be one of the best signings next summer. But there are key things to point out when it comes to signings. We know the capacity and big influence of Real Madrid in the European football and also their history in transfer windows especially towards potential talents. Real Madrid is mostly the dream club of every player that's ambitious enough to win major titles and we know Florian Writz would really loved to join Los Blancos over Liverpool when it comes to competitive run for titles but on the other hand, he will lack playing time because you don't expect Carlo Ancelotti to dropped Vinicius Jr, Kylian Mbappe or Rodrygo for Florian Writz. There's absolutely no way that could happen and there are also players on the bench that's keen on playing matches.

For Liverpool, we know the history of the club when it comes to signing players mostly from outside the English Premier League. They valued players more lesser than the actual bid sum and either they grabbed him or go for more settled options that's convenient for them, especially not in the English Premier League where FFP rules are very strict and breaking them would attract crucial penalty. Liverpool have players to deliver them in matches and adding Florian Writz would simply be another craving talent ready to explore, perhaps we should keep mute and watch how everything will play out.

Florian Writz performance in the last 2 season with Leverkusen is very fantastic and he was successfully to help Leverkusen to gets Bundesliga title and DPB pokal so this makes some of big teams were interested want to bought him from Leverkusen and apparently Leverkusen know this situation so Leverkusen has realize that they cannot hold Florian Writz much longer to stayed with them so that's why Leverkusen will be allowing other clubs to bought him as long as those teams is willing to pay according to his price

According to the rumour indeed Liverpool was interested to bought him even for 2025 Liverpool will makes Florian Writz  transfer as their main priority but Florian Writz has expensive price so i think Liverpool will think twice to gets him besides that Liverpool have to compete with Real Madrid to gets him and i think it's hard because Real Madrid is rich team and they can buy the player they want and in my opinion Florian Writz most likely will choose Real Madrid instead of Liverpool

Florian Wirtz was one of the players in high demand by big teams last summer, his performance and consistency in guarding Leverkusen midfield last season became a huge attraction for teams like Madrid and Liverpool, Madrid had previously tried to approach Florian Wirtz in the transfer market last season but Leverkusen rejected the offer, not only that, even Ancelotti has confirmed that if Florian Wirtz is still the main target of Madrid for them to sign next winter, the loss of Kross obviously leaves a big hole in Madrid's midfield and the recruitment of Florian Wirtz will obviously be the right replacement for Kross later, true or not the issue exists but reportedly next season Alonso is projected as a replacement to Ancelotti at Madrid and if that happens So it is likely that they will also be able to get Florian Wirtz easily later.

At least that is what Galatasaray vice-president İbrahim Hatipoğlu is saying when he insists that Victor Osimhen will not leave the club in January, while reports in Italy suggest that Juventus are interested in the Napoli loanee.
If I remember correctly, Osimhen's has a special loan clause, doesn't he? I remember he demanded that if one of the big clubs is interested in him in January, Galatasaray has to let him go. I think those clubs are Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, and so on. Not sure if Juventus is included or not. I think the primary source for this news is local media. I'm unsure if popular transfer journalists reported the same thing or not.

We can't really take media statements like this at face value though. Who knows, maybe he's trying to increase Osimhen's price by doing this.
Chelsea, Juventus and PSG are likely to be the front-runners to woo Osimhen in January. Man City and Liverpool do not seem to find a match and the position available for Osimhen. You know yourself Man City already has Haaland and so far he will not be replaced. Then Liverpool, which currently has an ideal squad thanks to the hands of Arne Slot, the opportunity to buy Osimhen is minimal, Liverpool is not the type of club that spends a lot of money to bring in 1 player.

Victor Osimhen might not have scored a goal in his first two games for Galatasaray but he's been able to provide two assists which I think is a good record for a players that is still adapting to life in a new league. Despite he failure to find the back of the net in his first two league games, there's no doubting the fact that Victor Osimhen is a very prolific striker and that's why Juventus manager Thiago Motta is interested in him. I'll be happy to see Osimhen join another top Italian club like Juventus as well as see how he'll perform whenever he's facing Napoli.
Victor Osimhen is an outstanding player, one I can boldly say is a team player too. I know he can be very selfless when it comes to making good contributions as a team player so I am not shocked about his stats for Galatasaray because if he is not scoring he will be creating chances for orhers to score. As long as the team wins Osimhen is satisfied. Two games with two goal contributions is a good way to start his time at Galatasaray.

Sometimes helping to score goals is more effective for the team than scoring for the team. Normally when a team plays against another team, the two opponents plan extra on the best players of the opposite team. This shows that it becomes very difficult for the best player of the opposite team to score, in that case if he does not play in attacking position, he backs a little and gives another player a chance to score, but it often becomes the reason for the team's victory. In the first two matches he has directly contributed to the goals scored by other players so it is in no way less than scoring goals.
Football isn't just about individual performances or how many goals a player can score, but about contributing to the team's overall performance and success. A player like Victor Osimhen, who despite not scoring in his first two games, created opportunities for his teammates which resulted in goals is equally praiseworthy. Those assists, essentially, were as good as goals. This shows that Osimhen isn't just a striker but a thoughtful player who understands that the success of the team doesn't rest solely on his shoulders but comes from collective efforts. As time goes on, I have no doubt that he'll begin to find the back of the net more frequently. However, even if he doesn't, his contributions to the team shouldn't be underestimated.

This is just a move from the club to wade off every interest from interested clubs. But if any of the clubs still feels that they want to secure his signature they should pay the money and get the player. But for me I won't pay that much for a player. Most of the high profile transfer that was made in the past don't usually pay off. Countinho flopped at Barcelona, Eden Hazard flopped at real Madrid. Neymar at PSG didn't really work out very well. Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez at Chelsea and many more. If this is really the amount that Leverkusen has placed on the player, I'm sure that Liverpool will not bother going for his signing. Liverpool as a club don't really fancy buying very expensive player. There are players out there that can play same way or more than Florian Writz that they can get at a cheaper price. For me that price is too much for a player like Florian Writz.

Report from  Fabrizio Romano has it that Zinedine Zidane’s son Enzo has retired from football at the age of 29.

Many in his shoes would force themselves into making decisions that are not naturally their wish for life and by so doing put themselves under unnecessary pressure to reach same height as their father but Enzo clearly followed his passion and personal plans. I respect the decision and the path that he has chosen to follow.

Having to come after a legend like Zinedine Zidane is a heavy weight to carry. You cannot be able to live up to everyone’s expectations, you will face criticism from people that believe nepotism got you there. And you can work very hard, win trophies and you still will not able to make a name for yourself, the world will always know you as Zinedine Zidane son.

Believe it or not, in the coming season Madrid will not pursue the player, but maybe Liverpool will.
As we can see now, the Madrid squad already has very perfect players and even has a very productive attacking midfielder. On the one hand, Madrid rarely brings in players at expensive prices and prefers to keep Bellingham. So the rumor will not come true for Madrid.
And for Liverpool, it could happen because currently the appearance of this squad has started to improve since Arne Slot took over as coach. Surely the coach will be very ambitious to strengthen the team by bringing in Writz.

Florian Wirtz's performance is quite good. This season, he has created 4 goals and 1 assist in the Bundesliga and has already created 2 goals in the Champions League. That's a pretty good statistic for a 21-year-old player. No wonder Madrid and Liverpool are interested in getting his signature. With Leverkusen's asking price, it's clear they don't want to let go of their talented young player. But the transfer may happen if Florian Writz wants to join one of those clubs. Until now, he is still part of Xabi Alonso's plan. It won't be easy for Liverpool and Madrid to get him next season.

Osimhen is a pretty good player as a striker he can score goals and provide assists of course that is a plus he can play, he must be able to play well there to be able to get a better place than now because this Nigerian player has strength in Europe so if he does not hone it in competitive leagues it is a shame his talent will slowly fade.
I know 2 games are still too early to say anything, but he has 1.8 xG already[1] from 11 shots. Based on stats alone he should've gotten at least one goal by now. Hopefully, he will score more in the future.

Yes, he was recovering from his depression some time ago about his departure that never came, and of course Osimhen needs time for that to be better, but if you are satisfied with Osimhen now I think it is not good enough, I have seen him in Napoli and he did that and I think it is still too early and he also needs teamwork that gives him full confidence to do his best but I am sure he will play well while he is there. I'm sure Enzo was burdened by his father's big name so he decided it would be much better to choose to retire early rather than continue his career as a footballer, besides he was already quite rich since birth, increasing his wealth through investment is also quite a good thing rather than continuing to be overshadowed by his father's big name.
Yes, Zidane's shadow is too big, causing Enzo a lot of pressure. In fact, Enzo wanted to retire last year, after being released by Spanish Third Division team Fuenlabrada. After a year of training and trying to find a new job, he is still unemployed. That's why he decided to retire. I think Zinedine Zidane also supports his son in this decision.
Enzo should focus on spending time with his family and investments.
