I'm not surprised to hear about this signing.  Smiley  I have been trying to tell people about it. Signing another good goalkeeper was also standing as an option for Barcelona and they really used it.

But now how will the things work? Will Szczęsny be able to start playing right after signing the contract? I don't remember the process of free agent signings. If he doesn't have to wait for January to play then it is great news for Barcelona!  Grin  Otherwise Peña would still be used as a temporary goalkeeper. By the way Szczęsny wasn't doing great in his last times before retirement. I hope he doesn't make the team and fans disappointed.
Considering winter transfer window has closed and only one opportunity left by signing free agent player, Barcelona have right decision by signing Wojciech Szczęsny after his contract expiry with Juventus and recently announces retired from football career.
Its not allowed waiting until January transfer window opening because Wojciech Szczęsny have been free agent players and Barcelona have quota for registering new goal keeper after Ster Tegan got injured make him out until the end of this season.

Have possibility for Wojciech Szczęsny make his debut upcoming match with Barcelona depend on financial fair play regulation have problem or not, during have many players recently injured I don't think difficult for Wojciech Szczęsny get appearance for next match against Osasuna and few days later will play in UEFA Champion League.

Florian Writz is being sought after by Liverpool and Real Madrid he is a young player who has good skills during his time at Leverkusen, this will be a fierce hunt between the two top clubs to get his signature but Leverkusen do not want to lose this player easily the club has set a fairly high price for Florian Writz and I think Real Madrid and Liverpool are a little burdened with the price considering 150 million euros is not a small amount for them even though they are financially capable.

Source : Twitter
How greedy Leverkusen is to place a 150 million price tag for Florian Wirtz. I'd rather take him around a 100 million price. It's a fair price for him. He's the second German big talent after Musiala. He’s very talented; he has such a consistent impact in every game for his club. That's why i think his price must be around 100m.

Also, it's been reported that he's very popular among Bayern Munich's bosses. And Real Madrid to be interested in him too. Though he played in the same position as Jude.

That is certainly reasonable, especially the Leverkusen club which indeed and still really needs a lot of money for their needs and the provision of this clause certainly has a basis Leverkusen or not they do not want to sell it and price it at an exorbitant price so that no one wants to penetrate it, Wirtz played very well under Xabi and he became one of the most prominent last season, it is only natural that his price is above 100 million and I think he does have a clause equivalent to that with his impressive game at Leverkusen of course I think he deserves it.
Musialla is indeed a good player and is still very young and of course he also has the same clause as Wirtz but if we look at Wirtz last season above Musialla and from the champions they got him with Leverkusen, but I think if Leverkusen can't win this season of course Wirtz's clause will go down but for now above 100 million that's the clause.

I stand with Palestine.

Leverkusen are trying to profit from Florian Wirtz's price tag but the price tag is arguably very expensive for a young player like him.
Sometimes seeing player prices is really crazy and the price expectations are not at all comparable, but that is football now and there are many things that happen beyond expectations.
Most German players have the potential to play at Bayern Munich before going to another league and maybe Bayern Munich will be at the front of the list of players to buy although so far the rumors are still unconfirmed.
I also think Leverkusen wants too much money for Florian Wirtz. He is young and has not played long so his price looks too high. Wirtz is very talented but it is hard to know his true value. Football teams mostly pay too much for players making it challenging to know what is fair. German players especially get a lot of attention. Bayern Munich usually tries to sign best German players. It would not surprise me if Bayern Munich wants Wirtz. They have history of signing top German talent. But we need to wait until rumors become true.

Well, I will take Victor Oshime over Rasmus Hojlund anyways, but Joshua Zirkzee is some brilliant and talented player Manchester United has. I see him still playing at the pace of the Italian Seria A Competition bit give him quality time and he'll definitely adapt to the Premier League Competition. Did you see the game against Crystal Palace? Immediately he was substituted for Rasmus Hojlund, the game became boring and there was no link up plays coming to the attack. I would love Victor Oshime swinging yo Manchester United but to be honest, I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Yes, of course I saw it, and I think it was boring, now thinking that if the MU makes this player wow it would change their face a lot, this player has great potential, of all the teams the ones that need this player the most are Chelsea and the MU, clearly in my opinion, I would greatly like him to be the one there, if that implies Ten Hag leaving then even more so, with all the desire, I personally think that this kind of player has to be made the most of, he is one of the most famous in Nigeria and he really is one of the best they have, honestly I wish he was in my national team, a player like that would make me go to the World Cup, I am sure that Nigeria will go to the World Cup in 2026 with this player in its ranks.

I would prefer he leaves there are so many clubs in europe who will want him, whereby he can also play Champions league football or at least Europa league and still get a trophy either his first two seasons.
Which club do you reckon wanted him? Based on his reply to the interview on the media, I feel like he's open to extending his contract with Tottenham. I'm not sure what makes him satisfied with his career, maybe the trophy is not the number one priority? Maybe he's trying to win something big with Tottenham to create a great story about his career. Who knows really? He's 32 years old iirc, so not that young anymore. I wonder if Bayern will try to sign him to reunite him with Kane if he's open to move to another club.

Honestly, I'm surprised Barcelona will sign Szczesny. Why they don't sign a younger goalkeeper?
I don't doubt the quality of Szczesny, he is an experienced goalkeeper. But Szczesny is no longer in his prime, he even decided to retire.
By the way, Barcelona has Iñaki Peña and Ander Astralaga.
There have been interviews from multiple sources as far as I'm aware, so it's likely true. I don't think this signing aims to look for a first-choice goalkeeper, it's a stop-gap signing more than anything else. We can guess why Barca is not comfortable with their current backup keeper; either too inexperienced, not good enough for the tactics, financially constrained to look for better alternatives, existing goalkeepers need better guidance from a more experienced player, etc. Whether this is the right choice or not depends on the result I guess. I can already see the media write sensational titles like "Barca's genius" if this deal won them titles.

Osimhen is an extraordinary player. He just made a tremendous assist in the Europa League match. He is a player with a great vision of the game. Frankly, if Manchester United or another team gets him, I am sure they will benefit a lot from him. If Manchester United gets him, it will be even better because it is clear that he is better than Hojlund. He will have many suitors in the transfer period, but let's see who he will prefer.

If Osimhen transfers to Manchester United, everyone will be happy...

+ Manchester United need a football player like him.
+ Osimhen deserves to play at Manchester United level.
+ Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş fans are in pain because Osimhen plays for Galatasaray (I have to admit, this is the most important one :d).
+ Galatasaray can make money if Osimhen transfers to Manchester United in the winter transfer window.

As we can see, Osimhen is a footballer who can change many balances... :)

But on the other hand, when De Rosi is currently considered unable to improve performance, then why is it too far to be maintained because after all, failure if it continues to be left will also not be a good situation later unless Roma still believes in De Rosi's progress just like Juventus who believed in Allegri a few seasons ago maybe this could also be another consideration.

In part these things are very common in teams, but they should put a little strength and more faith in DeRossi, just look at the example they have in the MU of the PL, they have a Ten Hag for a team where the only thing they have achieved are failures at the league and UCL level, there is a DeRossi who has not done so bad, I consider that they can make the difference if he can stay a little longer, at least half the season which is the most problematic and if they see that there are no improvements, then yes, they will make the decision, but of course , these are decisions that have to do with the team , here we are just speculating without knowing the true details.

The contract of the Tottenham player from South Korea will end this season. Reporting from Fabrizio Romano, he said that there had been no discussions about his future with Tottenham.
Son himself is one of the players who can be relied on by Tottenham, since he joined the club in the 2015/2016 season he has recorded good statistics, although he has not been able to present a prestigious title for Tottenham. However, this is not his fault, because the overall game can bring a club to win a prestigious title.
Tottenham should keep this player, because they currently have no replacement, unless they have the option to replace his position.
I think if Tottenham doesn't make much effort to renew his contract and Harry Kane finally been able to lift a trophy this season then I think he will see no other reason to remain in that club, where it seems highly impossible to win a trophy no matter the effort he has put.
I would prefer he leaves there are so many clubs in europe who will want him, whereby he can also play Champions league football or at least Europa league and still get a trophy either his first two seasons.

Barcelona immediately took quick action to replace Ter Stegen who would be injured for quite a long time. Szczesny was contracted for one year, what Barcelona did was very right because they did not want to rely on a backup goalkeeper who lacked experience in big competitions like the Champions League. Szczesny is a goalkeeper who has flying hours so that the responsibility in the back line will not be too difficult. It should be noted that Ter Stegen has not been confirmed when he will return and I am not sure that this long time can make his position disappear.
Are you sure this is valid news?
I still can't understand that a player who already retired to play again as a professional footballer.
Honestly, I'm surprised Barcelona will sign Szczesny. Why they don't sign a younger goalkeeper?

By the way, Barcelona has Iñaki Peña and Ander Astralaga. If I were Hansi Flick, I prefer these goalkeepers over Szczesny. Iñaki Peña has an experience in UCL although he isn't the main goalkeeper. He was quite good as the replacement of Ter Stegen in the match against Villareal. There was no another conceded goals when he was the goalkeeper at that time. And if Hansi Flick doesn't sign a new goalkeeper, Barcelona doesn't need to spend more money for a new player. We don't forget Barcelona is in financial crisis, they need to be very tight to spend money.

At least that is what Galatasaray vice-president İbrahim Hatipoğlu is saying when he insists that Victor Osimhen will not leave the club in January, while reports in Italy suggest that Juventus are interested in the Napoli loanee.
If I remember correctly, Osimhen's has a special loan clause, doesn't he? I remember he demanded that if one of the big clubs is interested in him in January, Galatasaray has to let him go. I think those clubs are Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, and so on. Not sure if Juventus is included or not. I think the primary source for this news is local media. I'm unsure if popular transfer journalists reported the same thing or not.

We can't really take media statements like this at face value though. Who knows, maybe he's trying to increase Osimhen's price by doing this.
Chelsea, Juventus and PSG are likely to be the front-runners to woo Osimhen in January. Man City and Liverpool do not seem to find a match and the position available for Osimhen. You know yourself Man City already has Haaland and so far he will not be replaced. Then Liverpool, which currently has an ideal squad thanks to the hands of Arne Slot, the opportunity to buy Osimhen is minimal, Liverpool is not the type of club that spends a lot of money to bring in 1 player.
Neither Liverpool nor Manchester City need him at the moment. The most serious team competing for the Nigerian player in the Premier League would probably be Chelsea. Maybe Manchester United could also make attempts to acquire him. However, I think the most serious transfer offer could come from Paris Saint-Germain. On the other hand, Chelsea could also offer him a good contract. I heard that they suspended the transfer in the summer because they could not agree on a contract. Maybe their thoughts about him changed after the Galatasaray transfer.

In fact, it is too early to quit football at the age of 34. For Barcelona, this transfer could be for the future. They have signed a one-year deal for now, but the successes he will achieve with the Barcelona jersey could allow the Polish goalkeeper to continue his career for a few more years. Since he is only 34 years old, he could have a successful career for at least three more years. Of course, if Barcelona's goalkeeper Ter Stegen does not mind being a substitute when he returns from injury, this could happen

There is another rumor about Osimhen the player of Galatasaray and Napoli. Osimhen had a good performance in Napoli and this made some other teams send him offers but he decided to extend his contract with Napoli and just after that he started having a bad relationship with his team and that's why since Conte joined there he hired Lukaku for Napoli and they gave Osimhen for a loan to have a better atmosphere.
Osimhen is currently playing for Galatasaray and he is happy there, but there are rumors about Galatasaray giving this player to Juventus. Galatasaray denied everything and they said they are even trying to hire Osimhne permanently.

Napoli decision to let Victor Osimhen go is disappointing mistake. Given Chelsea desperate need for talented striker like him it is surprising they did not secure the deal sooner. Waiting until mid season may prove costly. Osimhen departure is significant loss for Napoli and fans like myself are eager to see how team will recover. Perhaps Napoli can still turn things around and surprise everyone. But still it is a Question mark.

You can say that both teams made the biggest mistake of their lives, first by letting go of such a good player while he was in the ranks of their team and Chelsea for not completing his signing, I think they have been big losers for not having this great player, for now the great Galatasaray can enjoy the benefits of this player, for me one of the best in Nigeria, and I think things are obvious from miles away, now many will speculate that when the transfer windows open they will be very well taken advantage of by Chelsea, I am sure of that.
