Ilkay Gundogan signed an official contract with Barcelona at the ceremony attended by Joan Laporta today. He built a good career at Manchester City. I am sure he will always be remembered with good memories there. He said that he is now in Barcelona to fulfill his childhood dream. I hope he builds a successful career in Barcelona and continues to be well remembered years later. He is preparing for a new challenge in a new league at the age of 32. I think he needs some luck too. I hope everything goes well for him.

Dead sure of IIkay Gundogan doing a great job for Barcelona, There's no much difference from what they both play, the difference is that Manchester City does the same thing at a much higher level. With is high level of technicality and swiftness, he's in the perfect league.

Gundogan will also help Barcelona defend the Spanish League once again. I'm rooting for Barcelona to successfully win the league.
Same goes for Bernado Silva, I would also love to see him leave Manchester City for Barcelona but, I'm not certain he wants to leave Manchester City.
I don't think there's any football faithful anywhere in the world that'll doubt the great abilities of IIkay Gundogan. The German is simply a midfield genius and would surely flourish at Barcelona because of the fact that his current club plays almost the same style of football like his former.
That being said, I think where I have some doubt in your view is where you said he'll help Barcelona retain the Spanish La Liga title. Real Madrid with there recent signings is unarguably the strongest La Liga club at the moment and the fact that they didn't win either of the league or an European trophy last season should be a major concern for Barcelona because Madrid would surely want to make up for their last season shortcomings

I really applaud this move by Barcelona, because Alemán is a very, very good player in the midfield and when there is a good midfield in every team, things go well most of the time, for that reason I applaud Barcelona , but I also support what you say regarding Madrid, they are making a series of very good signings, they are connected to success, also with what they have gone through in all this time last season, they learned that they need to win no matter what, for For this reason I think they have done very well in this transfer window, of course the whole world is talking about Mbappé, but I think that still many have not been clear about how things are here in Madrid and what they are after.

Jude Bellingham is well and truly in Real Madrid. A month after confirming his move to the Santiago Bernabeu, the young midfielder is now part of Los Blancos camp that is looking to get the season started on the right note.

A week into training, Bellingham has already left many surprised in the Real Madrid camp with his attitude and mentality, reports AS.

Unlike any other player from the United Kingdom who has set foot in Madrid, Bellingham has shown a deep interest in learning the Spanish culture and the language. More importantly, he has gotten close with some of his new teammates.

Bellingham is particularly close with fellow new signings Arda Guler and Fran Garcia. He also shares a good rapport with some of the Spaniards, including Brahim Diaz. He referred to the former Man City starlet as his ‘little brother’ in one of his Instagram stories.

The Englishman is also close with Lucas Vazquez and Dani Ceballos. He has shown excellent rapport with these two Real Madrid stars and even admitted that the former is helping him learn Spanish.

Well, here it is shown how Madrid does things, there is no doubt about it , without a doubt this is the reason why Barcelona will never have peace of mind in a league or any type of Competition , because Madrid is there and they compete at all levels.

In fact, some teams know that the rivalry between Barcelona and Madrid is unique, that in La Lia when talking about fútbol these two teams appear as protagonists , for this reason I think that things can be as they are painted, but there are Still let us be surprised

Is there any La Liga club not in crisis right now? The media have just portrayed Barcelona's problem to look much worst because it gives them more view.
That aside, Barcelona have always been a big club with many football legends. It's hard to talk about football without mentioning something directly or indirectly related to Barcelona. They're a greta club.
It may not be a childhood dream of these guys to play for Barça, but along the line, they liked the club. Lewandoski and Gundugan did everything they could to play for Barcelona. It was not about the money obviously.
It's a good thing this new management took over Barcelona when they don't have money, because if Barcelona had money they would have been able to convince every top player to come pley for them.
Even if Barcelona goes to Eroupa for a third consecutive season, they would still be able to bring top players to their club.

When it comes to being in a crisis situation I don't think Real Madrid are in crisis right now for example. As far as I know they don't have any issues with FFP rules either now unlike Barcelona. They must have enough funds to pay PSG's asking price for Mbappe and meet his contract demands both now. They just don't look like they intend to make this happen for now.

But for Barcelona the situation is really complicated. They have increased their revenue by signing big sponsorship deals though. But their finances are still not in a very impressive condition. Even if it was the FFP rules I mentioned are still an obstacle for them to spend high sum of money for any transfer this summer.

Inter continue to be in search of a striker now. They aren't going for Lukaku anymore as you know. I have read that they are after Morata or Balogun signings. Morata is already willing to leave Atletico Madrid and join an Italian team again. He is 30 years old with way bigger experience than Balogun technically. But when it comes to scoring skills I don't side with Morata too much. Because he isn't the kind of a striker that scores so many goals in a season. He is doing better with a striker beside him as well.

In terms of this situation he can fit Inter's formation nicely. But Balogun has a really bright future on one hand. He was impressive in the Ligue 1 last season with 21 goals. I guess Arsenal would only loan him to them rather than a permanent deal for now. I wonder which side Inter will choose.
I don't know why Inter Milan prefer to choose Morata or Balogun. In my opinion, Lukaku is much better and more productive than Morata or Balogun. Lukaku already played in Inter Milan for a few years, he doesn't need to adapt with Inter squad anymore. Lukaku also proved that he is a good striker and can be a machine goal for Inter Milan, he already scored some goals since he played in Inter Milan. Actually, it is a bit confusing why Inter Milan doesn't want to sign Lukaku.

Anyway, I am not familiar with Balogun. Although he can score 21 goals in Ligue 1, I am not sure he will easily score many goals in Serie A. The level of Ligue 1 and Serie A is different, he also needs to adapt with Inter play of style.

I don't know if signing this contract and the ceremony means Gundogan's contract is also registered in the League because the last time I remember Joan Laporta said they need to supply some income and they have some financial issues about the contract with Gundogan.

They have to take a gamble on either Morata or Balogun since they could not meet up with Chelsea's asking price, and it looks like Lukaku is heading to Juventus. While Morata is the more established striker between the pair I would go for Balogun. Alvaro Morata is 30 years, has played for some big teams and has established himself as a goal poacher. Last season, the spanish striker was only able to score 15 goals in 45 appearances in all competitions. Folarin Balogun is just 22 years old, he looks promising, he's on blazing form and had a successful outing in the french league with Reims, where he bagged 22 goals in 38 appearances in all competitions. Though, Arteta is still hoping to have a word with him, probably convince him to stay but I think he will do well in Inter Milan.

Is it just me or did Arsenal not really feel like they were spending a ton of money? I am not denying the stat, if they say so then it must be true, I really didn't check so I can't comment on that part. But if it is true, I have to say they never felt like they were constantly spending a lot of money, maybe they spent big amounts with big breaks in between them so that didn't feel like they did, or they bought bunch of smaller amount players or not really big follower famous players, I do not know the main reason to be fair. I just know that it felt like they did not spend that much money at all, it just feels like they didn't spend all that much amount of money and to learn that they spent the most was a bit of a little shock.

Kalvin Phillips seems to be a target for Liverpool now. The reason why is of course Fabinho's departure for a Saudi team soon. Liverpool will need to find a replacement for him to the defensive midfield position. Kalvin Phillips is a player who can even play in multiple positions such as central midfield and centre-back as well. But he wouldn't effective as a centre-back as much as playing as midfielder of course.

His market value is 32 million euros now. It doesn't seem like Liverpool would have to spend too much money on this transfer. Manchester City didn't give him much playing time in the previous season either. Therefore they might be willing to have an agreement with Liverpool.
I think this is a pretty smart transfer for Liverpool to bring Kalvin Phillips to Anfield, because they are currently also in the stage of regenerating their midfield. With Fabinho moving ever closer to the Saudi league team, so too will captain Jordan Henderson who will also follow Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, leaving an empty spot that must be filled soon.

Kalvin Phillips is now at a ripe age and this is a golden opportunity for him to continue his career in one of the best EPL teams. We know very well that Pep Guardiola rarely plays Kalvin Phillips and since being brought in from Leeds last year, his market value has also decreased. I think Liverpool will try to get a fee below market value and Manchester City might not mind that.
Here's what I think, and I'm not holding back. Sure, Kalvin Phillips could be a decent addition to Liverpool. He's in the prime of his career, and we all know he's not getting much field time under Pep Guardiola. But let's pause for a moment. If Guardiola, who is known for his knack for identifying and honing talent, isn't giving Phillips much of a chance, does it not raise some red flags?

Honestly, I wouldn't place my bets on Phillips just yet. I don't see him as a star player, but rather, an average one. Liverpool is still Liverpool, and they need more than an average player to keep up the pace

Since Arteta started his job at Arsenal in 2019 this is how much money Arsenal have spent until now. They are even in the lead in Europe with the highest amount. These transfers have made them have the most expensive squad in the English Premier League also now. They are even ahead of Manchester City even though Manchester City have very rich owners.

But having the highest valued squad isn't enough to achieve big successes of course. Arsenal are still trailing far behind Manchester City about that. At this point I think Arsenal need to make some experienced player signings on one hand also. Because there is likely to be a leadership problem in the team soon.
Arteta has been doing his job perfectly well since he took over at Arsenal and I don't think there is going to be any crisis issues because the entire board is behind him and with the way he has already taken the squad far, they believe what ever he is doing now is the best. Before when Arsene Wenger was managing Arsenal,People were complaining about how Arsenal were not always capable of competing with big teams in Spending money on quality players during transfer window, but now that Mikel Arteta is here and he has been doing exactly the wish of the fans, some persons are now complaining about the way the club spends money, sometimes I wonder what the problem of human being really is.
Nevertheless,we have seen Arteta as the man who can take us to the promise land, and we are following him.
The only club on this table that I don't really see that they are living upto expectations compared to the money spent on players so far is Chelsea, they have spent a lot on players recently but it actually seems something is wrong with the team, they have been moving from grace to grass every year, and despite all their buys, they still fall below Europa league.Well, they have a new coach who has coached in the premier league before, and he is currently recruiting young boys  just as Arteta did in his first two seasons at Arsenal, but I doubt if that kind of tactics is going to work at Chelsea because we all know that Chelsea board cannot be patient with him when they will start loosing, because definitely, their first three games, they might loose,so it would require patience from their board for his tactics and his process to work at a team like Chelsea.

I wonder if this is true about the "childhood dream"? If so, then Barcelona are making very cool money on their brand - both Gundogan and Lewandowski moved to Barcelona from top clubs, and at a time when Barcelona is in an obvious crisis. I wonder how long this "reserve" of the image will last. In any case, Barcelona should try not to fall into the Europa League for the third year in a row  Grin

Barcelona did a great job convincing Gundogan to join them. I mean, City just won the treble and Gundogan played a very important role in that, if he had stayed he would definitely be an important player in City for at least another 2 years or more, but he chose a new challenge in Spain and Barcelona and i wish him all the best in his new adventure.

Bernado Silva's future is uncertain for now, we are not sure if he is leaving or staying at the Etihad, Barcelona cannot sign him because of FFP regulation, PSG is also another team that seems interested but they have not sent any official bid to City.

At the age of 32, he is still looking to accomplish a childhood dream by joining a new club. The revelation came as a surprise, but for an athlete of his age still wanting to accomplish his childhood dream is admirable, and he's working hard to make it happen with Barcelona, one of Europe's greatest clubs. Ilkay Gundogan had a good career with Manchester City, where he left after winning the treble and serving as captain at the time.

One can only imagine what dreams he couldn't realise at Manchester City but hopes to realise at Barcelona. This is a new challenge for him, and I wasn't expecting much given his age, but I'm now more confident in him that he’s going to the great at Barcelona than he did at Manchester City.

Well, I actually had no idea about this. I did know that Arsenal does spend money. But I didn't know that Arsenal spent money like this, to be honest. I also believe that if this was any other club Arsenal was going to have a big problem with the management. Because spending so much money and not having the results is always a big problem for any club in my opinion.

But I have to say hats off to the fans of Arsenal for being so patient with the manager. We have seen a lot of clubs changing the authority because they did not think that the manager was bringing in good results for them. We have seen Manchester United and Chelsea change their manager a lot in recent times.

Anyway, I do believe that Arsenal will have to bring in results quickly. Because otherwise this certainly is going to be a problem for the coach sooner or later.

If Tuchel feel Sadio Mane is not his plan for next season he should let him go afterall his brief stint at Bayern Munich had not been productive and had a mediocre performance last season probably might be due to the injury he sustained before the World Cup,Sadio Mane had already played his best football while at Liverpool and won UCL trophy, EPL trophy etc with the club , now that Al-Nasri is offering a lucrative offer he should accept it and move on, Saudi Arabian league has now signed a good numbers of aging European players at least their league would also be competitive apart from the juicy weekly wages paid which had been attracting European players to the league.

Quote
Mane failed to live up to expectations
Tuchel admitted he was disappointed
The striker is on the club's sale list

i keep reading rumors about Tuchel's dissatisfaction with Sadio Mane and if these rumors continue to blow then Sadio Mane will be released to another team, the news also states that Al-Ettifaq is very interested in buying Mane at a fairly high price, in my opinion if Mane moves to the arab league is only for money then his career in football will be dim and there will be no team from the european league who will be interested in him, so far the teams in the arab league only attract old star players who only chase money and mane is still young enough to playing in the European league.
In fact, this is indeed very far from Tuchel's dream when Sadio Mane has not had a good performance since joining Bayern Munich.
But if I were Sadio Mane, it would be better to accept an offer from a Saudi Arabian league club because a very big offer could make a better future with his family, considering that he is already 31 years old and is almost approaching retirement.
If you only expect another club from the European league to sign him I think it will be difficult or maybe just for a low price.

Lukaku seems to be moving to Juventus almost definitively. He turned down Milan because of their poor performance in the Champions League when he was left out of the Manchester City game. In general, he is a strange guy, after all, given the fact that his career is not in the best condition could go to the Saudi league and continue his career in peace, because while scoring Lukaku has not yet learned and just in the Saudi league could show his potential.
Lukaku keeps stand on his decision for not to join in the arabian club. Lukaku needs to train even harder to make sure he will be able to solve all of his problems. Lukaku can't evne shot the ball with 1 touch. He needs to hold the ball for a few seconds before he will able to make a single shoot. Im thinking about that's gonna be the best decision of lukaku goes to the juventus. Juventus needs of new striker right now.
Lukaku gonna be very good choice for juventus. He will become an opponent from intermilan next season. Football is really dynamic.
On the one hand Lukaku is good for trying to stay at top clubs, but he has already changed a lot of clubs and it is unclear how he will be received at Juventus and whether his transfer will take place at all. It is reported that Juventus will only be able to buy Lukaku if they sell Vlahovic otherwise the deal is impossible. So Lukaku is now at great risk if he rejects offers from Saudi clubs, because now Chelsea do not need him, and the management of Inter and Inzaghi may take offense because of his position on the transition to Juventus.

I think that the Saudi Professional League could sustain their model, which is purely based on financials, for longer than the MLS. But the MLS has other advantages as I would assume that a lot of European players feel more comfortable playing there. But money is the ultimate means here. We could see that when some players went to China and they certainly didn't do that because they wanted to develop as players. Wink

Money talks. Money is the ultimate motivator. And after all, football players are “professional” players. So they will follow the money. Of course, every footballer is not going to do that but I am talking about the general footballers. When we talk about certain things we have to talk about it on generalization. So of course, I believe the future is a lot brighter for the Saudi league compared to MLS.

The big question is for how long will Saudi Arabia keep pumping the money into the league? Until they had the World Cup in 2030? Or even longer?

That is actually a good question. Of course the longer they are going to pump money in the Saudi league, the better the league is going to become and the revenue is also going to be better. Better money equals better outcomes in general. But they will have to be careful because if they do not bring in younger players, it is not going to be interesting after a while. I mean nobody wants to see a bunch of 40-year-old has-beens playing football.
