Saturday's gossip:
Paris St-Germain are attempting to hijack Bayern's bid for Tottenham's England striker Harry Kane, 29. Kane seemed certain to go to Bayern, but now all options are open. Bayern certainly cannot compete financially with PSG. Will Kane be a replacement for Mbappe or do PSG owners want to create a new fantastic attacking tandem for the new season, Mbappe and Kane?
Chelsea are looking at a making up a move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, with PSG also interested in the 23-year-old Serbia international. It seems that after the departure of Messi and the possible departures of Mbappe and Neymar, the owners of PSG want to find quality replacements for them and spoil the plans of Bayern and Chelsea.
Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane's representatives have met with Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr to discuss a move for the 31-year-old Senegal international. Bayern had big plans with Mane, but now they want to get rid of him as soon as possible. Will he be able to replace Mane with Kane?
PSG have targeted Napoli's Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen, 24, not to replace Kylian Mbappe but to help convince the France forward, also 24, to sign a new contract. An interesting and somewhat desperate strategy, will it work?
https://www.bbc.com/sport/66197235Arsenal also just signed Jurrien Timber from Ajax in a €40m deal. He is the second player to have joined Arteta's side in this transfer. The player Dyclan Rice is also been scouted still and hopefully he would not Manchester city but Arsenal.
Osimhen to PSG just to convince Mbappe to sign a contract extension, is a coy move. Should Osimhen leave where he is celebrated to a french side, just to act as side kick or second option, it will affect his brilliance and might easily ensure his career plummets.
Sadio Mane started having all this issues last season with Bayern, no one looks surprised that he wouldn't feature for them in coming season. He has had an amazing career and with Ronaldo in Al Nassr, it promises to be a huge money move into retirement.
