That is why Barcelona's summer spending raises big questions - 200+ million spent and the result is the same as last year with a "weak" squad. By the way, in view of the results of the draw, the strength of Barcelona relative to English clubs can be assessed directly - in the play-offs for the right to play in the 1/8 Europa League, Barcelona will play with United. I'm a United fan so I'm biased, but it seems to me that United should win without any problems.

Barcelona is the leader in La Liga. It is true that they did not achieve the results they wanted in the champions league. I think they will be more successful in the European league. Barcelona is one of the teams with a high probability of winning the La Liga and European leagues. Yesterday, Real Madrid lost and they took the lead by 5 points. If they continue without leaving the leadership, their spending in the summer period will not be talked about much. Lewandowski was very good to Barcelona's forward line.

Firstly, the difference is not 5 points, but only two. Secondly, even if by some miracle Barcelona wins La Liga, this will not cancel the talk about its summer spending - the debt has not gone away and the situation has worsened. Tournament struggle has escalated (although it is naive to believe that Barcelona will not lose points in the championship), but this does not change the financial situation in Barcelona.

Oh sorry. I mistakenly added the three points Real Madrid lost, thinking that there was already a difference of two points. Sorry for my mistake. I don't see it as a miracle that he won La Liga. The two best teams in the league, along with Real Madrid. There is no point difference to say miracle, Barça is ahead at the moment. If they win the Europa League and La Liga, they can turn their financial situation back into a better financial situation with new sponsorship deals.

It seems like Newcastle and Aston Villa are targeting to sign Eden Hazard. This transfer is likely to happen in winter transfer window also.

https://www.elnacional.cat/ca/esports/hazard-confidencia-courtois-desti-decidit-retorn-casa_912462_102.html

It is said that Hazard is eager to leave the team at the earliest opportunity. He has already said to his teammates that he wants to leave as Ancelotti doesn't seem like Hazard is a part of his plans. It would be the right thing to do for Hazard honestly. He hasn't played football properly for a long time since he joined Real Madrid. It was his biggest mistake in his career I think. He should have stayed at Inter while he was doing a great job. Anyway, it'd still be nice to see him back in the Premier League. I'd like to see him playing for Newcastle while they are this strong.
Hazard was a good player while playing at Chelsea but when he was decide moved to Real Madrid this became an one of the biggest mistakes from his career and actually on January last year the rumour about his future already appears but he decide to stayed until hoping Ancelotti can giving chances to him to gets more minutes to play but unfortunately Ancelotti cannot trust him to playing regularly and he lost his place from starting eleven and his contract will be expired on 2024 but apparently Madrid are going to sell him this winter

Moved to other clubs will be good decision for Hazard if he want to save his career so far indeed Aston Villa and Newcastle in the front line who want him even Aston Villa is very confident will gets him in this January but if he want to playing at european competitions i think Newcastle will be good choice for him considering this team performance is quite stable but Aston Villa and Newcastle have to realized this is high risk transfer this because Hazard has long term injured history

But statistics have already been cited where it can be seen that Xavi's performance at the end of 50 games is at a very low level. I would not compare the fall of United and Barcelona - in England the level of competition is excessively high and if you fall from the top, then you are not in second or third place, but immediately in 7-8. If there was a similar level of competition in La Liga, then I'm not sure that Barcelona would have kept a formally "decent" lag with Real Madrid.
The competition in both leagues differ, the English Premier league is a lot more physical and intense compared to the La liga. If Barcelona were competing in the EPL they surely won't be sitting second place and a point away from the league leaders. The Laliga is not as tough as the EPL that is why Barcelona are not able to keep an impressive performance competing in the Champions league this season. It is a shame they will drop to the Europa league this season.

There are rumours that Chelsea and Manchester city are interested in Rafael Leão from AC Milan, Chelsea will be a better option for Rafael, he will have a better playing opportunity than in Manchester city where Haaland has pegged his mark.

I don't think he'll do very well at Chelsea, we need a striker as determined as Didier Drogba was, since his departure, we have been unable to fill his shoe and just ended up signing underperforming strikers. The closest we got to replacing drogba was Diego Costa and during his time at Chelsea, he gave us the premier league and other trophy. Aubameyang would had succeed at Chelsea if not for his age, he has gone passed his prime which he wasted playing for Arsenal. Chelsea should go for Victor Osimhen.

If we can get him then upgrade our winger, Chelsea next season would be competing with the likes of Manchester city for the title. Osimhen loves competition and with Haaland in the spot light, he'll want to dethrone him to take that spot. This other strikers been link to Chelsea can't give Haaland some competition.

BREAKING:Southampton have decided to sack Ralph Hasenhuttl.

(Source: The Athletic UK)

I know that many English clubs will begin to sack their coaches especially as Emry just arrived Aston Villa and got an immediate result.
EPL is full of competition this season and it is also full of surprises. No one is safe.
Southampton's performance has not been very good this season and indeed the results of some of the matches they have run are actually not good, especially with the last 5 matches 2 defeats, 2 draws and 1 win clearly making the officials there seem furious.
It could have been a pretty good decision but at the moment with their current condition it is clear they have to find a new coach quickly.
The major reason that the English Premier League clubs are sacking their coaches is not because they are not doing well they want coaches that we do better because when you look at the English Premier League every club is actually doing well so they need coach that will take them to the top four or Europa League.
We cannot say that Southampton is not doing well this season because there's no season that Southampton has done excellently well. Unlike Newcastle that is planning top 4, they may have reasons to sack coach anyday.

If I observe, PSG currently has more attention than any big team. almost every week, there are always rumors linking PSG's star players. if not mbappe who became a hot rumor, none other than his teammate who became a news rumor from this PSG-owned star.

Currently, we have a hot conversation that always relates Messi's return to Barcelona. in fact, several other rumors circulated, Pep Guardiola was interested in signing Messi after his contract expired with PSG this season. however, so far no official statement has come out of him regarding his future with PSG, for sure he still has a contract until the end of this season.
So far, he has only focused on the world cup event. and yes, we will know the decision later after this world cup ends.
For a big club like PSG they will always attract attention from the media, every rumour and speculations from their players and staff so it is no surprise to me seeing how rumours relating to PSG will always come up. Concerning the speculations about a possible move for Messi to Barcelona, I will rather read a statement from Messi about his future than stick to rumours, I believe Messi will rather shift his focus to competing in the world cup for now.

Harry Kane will be a good signing for Manchester United but don't think that Vlahovic will move to Real Madrid to replace Benzema
Man United are sure in a need of a new attacker to replace diminishing Cristiano Ronaldo so they can approach Harry Kane these will only work of Tottenham are ready to break the bank for some players. Benzema has been really injured which has stopped him from performing the way he did last season

Messi still has a chance to return to Barcelona, moreover Laporta and Xavi have openly said they want to bring Messi back to Camp Nou.
that wish could have been realized when Barca was in better shape. if their finances are still the worst, forcing to send Messi back will only make things harder for the player.
not because of the quality of the current squad. I think Messi can adapt quickly to the squad. but if Barca's finances are not in order, it will complicate things. not to mention the money to pay PSG.
for now, Messi will be better at PSG. he played great there.

This season, yes, he's performing well, but in the past he wasn't doing so well. As for the money - it's a temporary problem in any case and you can solve it quickly, and you can solve it gradually. But solving them quickly you have to give up everything, both in transfers, and in spending on the club itself. So why refuse now, if you can gradually solve the problem? It seems to me that Leo's transfer is quite realistic

While Messi is currently focused on the World Cup, which both him and his team's goal, and PSG management has already stated that they are happy to extend his contract, which is set to expire at the end of this season, most chances are he will stay here for longer. After all, at the end of this season. Like Barcelona is developing squad for long time future which needs youngsters instead of player like Messi same happening in other clubs so with this all current situation most chances he will be ended his career at his current club PSG because they are only those can afford his salary and bonuses with good time for him in first team as well. Due to the fact that Messi's current club, PSG, is the only one that can afford to pay his salary and bonuses while also giving him a chance to play for the first team, and that Barcelona is building a team for the long term that needs youngsters rather than players like Messi, there are high chances that he will end his career there.
Is Messi that ambitious with his salary? I don't think so, even the reason he left Barcelona was a lot of rumors about financial problems. But the fact is long before Barcelona's finances were destroyed, Messi already had the plan to leave. It's just that the decision and the moment of his departure were right at the time when Barcelona finances began to collapse. Now PSG has made so many offers with raises to keep Messi afloat. But until now, neither Messi nor his manager has confirmed the final decision. We will see that decision after the world cup is over.

@hyudien, I cannot agree with you because Lionel Messi even proposed that he is ready to take half the salary he was given at the moment just to stay and play for Barcelona. So, I really do not think that he had plans to leave Barcelona at that moment. He was basically forced to leave Barcelona in my opinion.

Right now I don't think he has any certain decision about if he is going to stay in PSG or leave. I think he does end up staying in PSG, It is going to be influenced by Neymar. I think it is not a decision that is in the mind of Lionel Messi right now because he wants to totally concentrate on the world cup at this moment.

I don’t think Dusan Vlahovic will be going to Manchester United anytime soon, Vlahovic still has a long term contract with Juventus as he is the main striker leading their attacking lines so this transfer speculation is not likely to be realistic in January because like you said Vlahovic is a key player for Juventus and they wouldn’t want to let him go. Harry Kane would also be a good alternative for United but they will face competition with Bayern Munich if Tottenham eventually decide to sell. In the end it would come to who comes with the best offers.
Here surely few changes coming in next season as current season is surely not ideal for many clubs and players which is going to bring big changes like now Harry Kane is also going to be in rumours with most chances he will try to stay in England instead of going into Bayern Munich but right now nothing is clear what will happen because if Manchester United will be having good intention then most chances he will also prefer to stay in England which is ideal situation for mostly English players.

About other transfer Vlahovic is also going to be in media because Juventus is not impressive in current season, and he can ask for change which is also ideal for team if they want to have good funds on right time as right now few teams are interested, and they can take good transfer fees so if this happens then surely we will be having few top English clubs will be done something for this aggressive striker which surely can do good here in these conditions.
I believe United should get Kane, and Real should get Vlahovic to help them after Benzema. Sure Benzema could be good this year as well, or maybe even next year but eventually he will get old, and unless they somehow magically get Mbappe like they always wanted to, then Vlahovic is the next best player they could get which is both young and could also be a good striker.

Kane is an English player and I agree that staying in England would work better for him, and United lacks a great striker so it would work perfectly for both teams. He is a bit older, but he could play another 5 years at least, and that means United could afford to give 50-70 million range for him.

That could change a lot of things as we could observe with Tuchel and Chelsea. New owners, new ideas!

I think the same way that Klopp shouldn't be sacked unless the season ends in a devastating way. Top 6 should be ok, but do you think that new owners would keep going with Klopp when he fails to qualify for the CL? I doubt that he would remain the coach in that case unless the new owners understand that Klopp is a popular figure in world soccer, much more than Tuchel. But still they are in it for the business and the only thing that might count for them is nonstop success.
They can only be hopeful that the Fenway sports group deciding to sell the club will have a positive effect on the club and not run down the the development and growth of the club instead. Klopp is a good coach, it will be wise to keep him at the club despite this tough and struggling times, he has proven himself to be a good coach and this times come as phases and will definitely pass, he should do everything to finish in top four, qualify for the Champions league.

Chelsea might be likely to lose Nkunku to Real Madrid now. Because there is some new update such as Real Madrid have started to monitor his condition also. It is claimed that this interest might have an affect on Nkunku to change his mind. Chelsea were actually really close to signing a deal with him. They were trying to agree personal terms as early as possible to finish the transfer next summer. But it looks like their job will be quite hard from now on.

Chelsea still need to improve their attacking line I think. I still don't see it good enough despite signing Aubameyang. They need a more reliable striker on the front to increase their effectiveness in scoring goals. One of the reasons why they are losing points is definitely related to this issue.

Right now, the way Chelsea is playing. I don’t think they are going to attract too many big players. They are in the seventh position on the table right now and also not in a good form at all. I think when a team is not playing well, and they are trying to get a big player in the team It is always better for them to make the deal without making too much fuss about it.

All the other clubs are also going to be interested in the player. That might mean Chelsea ends up losing that player to another club. It is already hard to convince a player to come to a club, which is not doing very well. and now they have a competition to think about in my opinion.

Let's say they fired Klopp. Who will replace him? I think it would be unfair to think that while Klopp's progress in the champions league was very good, he should be fired because they got into this situation in the league. He made it to the final and lost in the champions league. The next level of this is already getting the trophy. I believe it will be successful. They will use the Premier League as a tool to reach the Champions League this season. You can't be a champion every year. Such drops are quite normal. I agree with what has been written and I don't think Liverpool have any plans to fire Klopp.
If Klopp leaves Liverpool it's their loss, because it will be a while for them to see a good coach as him. They did not have a great start to the premier League campaign that is why they have found themselves at their current position and other teams in the premier League this season are really doing well not giving any chance for any big team that doesn't deserve to be top four to be there. They have struggled to adjust to playing without Sadio Mane,  but now they are picking up and Mo' Salah is becoming more confident and scoring. In my opinion they still have a good chance to finish top 6.

If Chelsea doesn't get Nkunku that's all their fault, they made him so relevant even after the windows were close.
There are rumours that Chelsea and Manchester city are interested in Rafael Leão from AC Milan, Chelsea will be a better option for Rafael, he will have a better playing opportunity than in Manchester city where Haaland has pegged his mark.

If Chelsea doesn't get Nkunku that's all their fault, they made him so relevant even after the windows were close. They could have done this deal in silence and surprised everyone when they sign him but no the new owners wants media attention so they leak information of negotiations ongoing to sign him and now the whole world wants him. Chelsea are yet to understand that their name isn't as big as they think, any player they're after can always change their mind if offers come from the heavyweights like Real Madrid, Barcelona and the rest.

Chelsea also aren't doing that well to attract players that are in media spotlights. Let them not forget that they're likely to lose the champions league slots for next season if they keep playing poorly as they're doing. Todd Boehly need to also step away from the negotiation table of signing new players and get someone who knows what he's doing. Chelsea had over $200m last season and they wasted all signing  players that aren't having any effect on the team. Chelsea is currently sitting at the 7th position which is very bad.

In Champions League, Liverpool is having some remarkable success. They have not lost a single match in the last five Champions League matches.
But they are not performing well in the English Premier League. I really don’t know if Liverpool has good enough success in the Champions League will it be a good enough reason to keep Jürgen Klopp?

I think he should finish in the top six in the Premier League and win the Champions League title. That will probably make people believe that he is still worthy.
I agree with @Sterbens that I have not heard anything about Liverpool sacking the coach. I don’t think they are thinking about that right now. I believe they are giving the coach some time to fix the problems that they are facing.
Let's say they fired Klopp. Who will replace him? I think it would be unfair to think that while Klopp's progress in the champions league was very good, he should be fired because they got into this situation in the league. Exactly, I don't think there is anyone who is available or wants to replace Klopp right now. Even if they do decide to get rid of him and bring in someone else, will he be able to bring better results compared to Klopp?

I really do not think Liverpool should hurry to take any decision. Rather than making a snap decision now, they should wait and make the right decision later.

-snip-
Well, in this case, it's true that even if they saw their performance wasn't too good in the EPL, they were still quite happy with the result of the match in the Champions League, even though the defeat of Napoli in the first match was still a little difficult not to criticize.
Finishing in the top 6 is not too good for Klopp because in this case Klopp has been reminded that their target must be in the top 4 and when he can't run the target then there is a high possibility of dismissal.

I think if Liverpool finishes in the top six and not in the top four, Klopp shouldn't be sacked. He has done a good job with Liverpool and I think this is just a challenging period they are going through. Anyone can have those rough patches. For that, we shouldn't criticize too much.

Well, I think I should clarify that the top 6 is not going to be a problem if he is able to win the Champions League with Liverpool. Other than that, there is no exception for finishing in the top 4.

Barcelona finances are the determinant to bring home Messi, Barcelona which is still not fully able to improve its financial condition must arrange a plan to sell several players in the January transfer market. Actually Barcelona can increase the club's income if it can go further in the UCL, due to failing in the group stage, Barcelona must be content to be thrown into the Europa League and the opportunity to get club income in the UCL is closed.

Barcelona can still wait until Messi's contract with PSG expires to bring him for free, especially since there is currently no agreement between Messi and PSG for a contract extension. The drama of Messi's return to Barcelona is increasingly being fried by the mass media, whether this news is true or they just want to make hot news to lead readers to increase the company's income.

It looks like Manchester United have started to be in search of a striker already now. Because I'm hearing about some names such as Dusan Vlahovic. As for him I don't have very positive thoughts about this transfer. Above all else Juventus wouldn't like to let him go this quick. There hasn't been even a year since he joined Juventus. He has a satisfying level of a performance now and he is one of the talented and young strikers. Manchester United had better look for other alternatives.
For example, Harry Kane would be a great choice. He is a solid striker and very experienced at the same time. However even if they convince Tottenham to let him go there would be Bayern Munich also on the line to sign him. In this case I don't know what Kane's choice would be.
I see the possibility of Harry Kane being transferred from Tottenham to other teams low.  Vlahovic, on the other hand, seems pleased to wear the Juventus jersey.  I don't think Manchester United will sign him.  Juventus keeps Vlahovic in the team.  I don't think Manchester United need a striker.  I think it would be more important for them to strengthen the defense zone.

I don't know if Harry Kane is willing to be interested in moving to Manchester United. Harry Kane wanted to leave Spurs because they were not bringing in trophies. Keeping that in mind, there is no way he is planning to move to Manchester United. This is because there is no way Manchester United will be able to bring in trophies anytime soon because they do not have a trophy-winning performance/squad.

Vlahovic will probably think about switching to Manchester United because Juventus is not doing very well right now. But at the same time, Juventus is not going to want to let him go, he is a key performer for them.

So, I don't think Manchester United is going to be very successful if they look for these two players. They should start looking at other options.

if it was harry kane who urged his team to sell him to another club then tottenham couldn't resist his desire and what I saw was the issue of bayern being very interested in kane already circulating widely. vlahovic will definitely refuse to move to Manchester United, but we'll see what happens in the transfer season next year. MU has money and many players are very tempted by money.
