There are reports that West ham United rejected the first bid made for Declan Rice and that they were unimpressed by both the size & the structure of Arsenal’s first offer. As Arsenal have made him as their primary target this season I expect Arsenal to make another bid, even though Manchester City will also come in for Rice. IMO I think West ham are just playing to get Arsenal to pay up on time. Manchester City don’t need him and Manchester city isn’t like Todd Boehly that would sign player because rivals want to sign him.
I think that Arsenal's offer is still below West Ham's expectations and with Declan Rice's contribution in bringing West Ham to win the conference league this season, of course the transfer fee will also increase. Arsenal also don't seem to want to give up on Declan Rice because he really needs a defensive midfielder who is young and has a high stature, maybe that's the reason Arsenal really need his services. We will wait for further developments later and indeed it seems that Declan Rice will still choose Arsenal over other teams and for Manchester City they understand very well what is happening in the transfer market and of course they will not be too hasty in taking action.
Declan Rice is an asset for West Ham so if another club wants him there will definitely be a high price, while Arsenal themselves already have players who are significant enough to bring them a championship.
We can see that for the Premier League, Arsenal had a great chance of becoming champions but because they felt they had succeeded and were too confident they were complacent so that Manchester City could take over that position.
Manchester City only need a few players in defense so it is very necessary to transfer players in the defender position.
I think West ham want the fee structured in two installments. That’s all they have been saying. But right from the beginning, I’ve always seen that West Ham wanted the fee over 2 seasons. If Arsenal knew they couldn’t do it then, why didn’t they just tell them their stand and move on if need be. With Manchester city indicating interest, i feel West Ham will be interested in what Manchester City may be able to offer for Rice, which will further delaying Arsenal’s plans to make a swift move for their him.

as reported by the 'guardian', both pl clubs manchester united and fc chelsea are making efforts to sign the 27-yo keeper André Onana (inter). according to the report, 'the blues' would already be willing to listen to offers for their goalkeepers Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy - the resulting problem would be solved by the cameroonian. 'the devils', on the other hand, he could succeed David De Gea, whose contract expires this summer and with whom no agreement has been reached so far...
It seems that there is still no certainty from Manchester United because they have not even made an offer to Inter Milan, on the other hand Erik Ten Hag looks at his budget and depends on David De Gea's decision, if he does not extend the contract then it is likely that the main thing to do is Erik Ten Hag is chasing the Inter Milan keeper because he is skilled enough to play with Inter Milan.

I read other reports about Chelsea there is also interest in Andre Onana, but they only want to exchange a few players but that is not a definite agreement and at the moment I don't know what price Inter Milan wants for Andre Onana, or what it will be. keep it as the main goalkeeper.

Now Kai Havertz has given the green light to offer a contract with Arsenal after positive indications. I suspect that by recruiting Kai Havertz, Arteta is targeting players who can play in various positions. Hence Caicedo, Cancelo, Timothy Castagne and now Havertz. Chelsea can't even take 70-80% of his potential! If Arsenal manage to pick him up, I'm pretty sure Arteta can put him on par with Kai Havertz. Because Most of the Chelsea players are looking bad right now because they don't have the right manager. But believe me, they have a lot of great players.

West Ham wanted an offer above 100M for Declan Rice from Arsenal which I think that was why they rejected the initial offer tabled by the gunners any fee less than that amount will be rejected while expecting Man City to table there own offer which could surpass that of Arsenal offer, there was a rumour of Gundogan possibly leaving Man City and Guordiola wanted Declan Rice as his perfect replacement, while Arsenal is also cautious of signing players with huge sign on fee that will eventually ended up as a flop just like Pepe who was bought with 70M unfortunately couldn't deliver for the team and also Mudryk who was signed by Chelsea was initially wanted by Arsenal.

Give all before death
To whom much is given, much is expected. Jude Bellingham has been the hype of the internet since last season and the young English guy is living upto the hype. The gift of the iconic no 5 jersey is an honour and prestige.
Concerning his position in the midfield when there's Kroos and Modric. I do not think there will be any kind of contention. Jude will always start for Ancelotti and the old guys are aware of it that they are there for the experience and flawles transition to the younger ones.
I agree with your position that wearing the number 5 jersey in Real Madrid is a big responsibility because of the quality of Zidane. He was a legend as his jersey is reserved for only players that the club believes will replicate such performance. I am sure Jude Bellingham will not disappoint because he has grown to become a strong and mature midfielder. Luka Modric and Toni Kroos would have to be mentors to the young English superstar and they will serve as viable substitute. I have so much respect for Modric because he was not influenced by money. He had the opportunity to make more money in the Saudi League but he preferred to follow his passion to remain in Real Madrid.

Since the renewal of Mbappe's contract where he was given rights and incentive more than the other two super stars, things has not been well with the club, the trio stars and the fans. Mbappe is at PSG against his will but for money.  But with his recent statement, it is obvious to the blind that he is not the candidate of PSG.
He eyes champions league;
He eyes Balon D'or
Mbappe wants to leave PSG because he looks like an adventurous player. The money and privilege PSG gave to him were what motivated him to sign his recent deal that will expire in 2026. But it seems he is not comfortable with the club anymore. He is a good player with a high ego. Mbappe always wants to be the center of attraction in a club. He wants to get all the attention so he has to go to a club that will tolerate his excesses

I think that westham has been making the right decision by rejecting the first offer from arsenal. This club shall spend more money to get a good player like rice. Westham is not even interesting to let him go without its bidders are willing to pay £100m for him.
Arsenal can add more money for the next bid. The problem is some big clubs are also interesting to sign him as well. Arsenal must try to agree with price tag that being given by westham.
Mikel Arteta's Arsenal have been seen as frontrunners for Rice and 90min revealed on Tuesday that the club had intimated a willingness to offer West Ham their asking price. But sources have confirmed that the first bid put forward was worth just £80m with £10m in add-ons, which has swiftly been rejected by West Ham.

Even manchester city and chelsea have been rumored interested to sign him. I hope that city will try to buy him from westham. He is a valuable player for the future.
He will able to become a replacement for gundogan once he leaves from manchester city. City will able to give what westham wanted easily.

So many hype after bellingham decides to use number 5.
It's too much indeed when the choice of number 5 bellingham is associated with Zidane in the past, of course there will be a separate burden if the burden must be like Zidane attached to bellingham.

After all, Mbappè wants to stay at PSG this year and leave for free the following year.

PSG on the other hand said "Or you will sign a new deal or you will leave this year, you will not leave for free"

From the comment Mbappe made concerning Messi's departure, it's obvious he's not happy with the club. For him to openly tell the club that he's not renewing his contract the moment it comes to an end in 2024. PSG has found themselves in a very tight corner and they would not want one of their highly talented player to leave for free and would have no other choice than to sell him this summer.

I don't know if Manchester United has interest or he would even like to come English, but the only way this deal can be feasible is if Sheikh Jassim is successful with Manchester United takeover. His preferred destination as always been Real Madrid.

His arrival in the English team may cause a set to Erik Ten Hag's recent success. You have to convince Brunno to give up roles and you have to review wages of other players and more. Manchester United isn't prepared for such dramas until they are stabilised again.

Arsenal, who have an ideal squad, but doesn't have senior players who can really provide mental reinforcement. Therefore, at the end of the season, their confidence seemed to have dropped a lot, especially when Man City won the standings which made the Arsenal players not expect that their opponents were much more experienced. Now regarding Declan Rice, who Arsenal has been eyeing, I don't think it will be much different at most 50:50 if he is successfully brought to the Gunners because what Arsenal need is mental strengthening and a level of focus. As usual, at a young age, they are too confident when they are at the top, so preparations for next season will be an important study considering that entering the Champions League competition which is more stringent requires all players to think more maturely.

I think the reason they seem to stall or haven't made another bid is due to the price tag placed on him. Since he won't be the only one they are signing, they are a bit reluctant to splash such a huge amount (€120m).
But my issue with Arsenal is they just like going for clubs rejects. Imagine making a bid for German and Chelsea attacker, Kai Havertz! Wonder what use he'd be to them.

City won't bid for Rice, West Ham are being outrageous with their demands and City do not pay more than what they think a player is worth, they'd rather back down from the bid, they did it with Kane, Cucurella (who eventually joined Chelsea) and many other players as well. City also have Rodri who is the best defensive midfielder in the world, and it is expected that Kalvin Phillips would also improve next season, so there is no need to buy Rice for an outrageous amount.

Goodluck to Arsenal, they might get their man if they manage to bring out the money West Ham are requesting, if they cannot, another team is going to buy him, it happened with Mudryk, they lost the player to Chelsea, we'd see if they'll get Rice or lose him to another rival as well.

Is that means if so much news that have ever published by so many media about his retirement in madrid between january or march were not true?
It seemed we got pranked by so many fake news even tony kroos itself.  Roll Eyes

Another contract extension for him by real madrid like modric. It seems like that if bellingham is gonna be a backup from kroos or ancelotti. There will be also possibility for ancelotti to give regular time for bellingham and then try to combine him with kroos or modric.

So many hype after bellingham decides to use number 5.

Barella is a really good player, with Guimaraes that would be the start of a very good midfield so naturally as a Liverpool fan, I hope Newcastle don’t get the Italian Wink

I think the PL is going to be so competitive next season, well Man City out in front but the other big teams will be very closely matched.

Every player that's coming to any club is aiming for Champions league football and I feel Newcastle have all it takes to get Barella's deal to be done. Newcastle will cause so much problem for the big six teams next season because they're not going to let what happened last season (like losing or drawing a game with any of the big 6 team) to repeat it self come next season. They (Newcastle) will be a team to watch and Liverpool ain't having that chance of getting any deal Newcastle are chasing to secure.

Speaking from Mbappe's perspective it will be best to join Real Madrid.

Mbappe will definitely want to go to Real Madrid. A photograph of him taken as a child had pictures of Ronaldo in a Real Madrid jersey all over his room. Everyone knows that Mbappe admires Ronaldo. His respect for Ronaldo may have caused him to form emotional bonds with Real Madrid. I think Real Madrid will be his first choice. He had previously turned down this offer. Now I'm sure he's regretting it. On the other hand, for Real Madrid and Manchester United, Mbappe would be a super transfer. And if they manage to transfer him for free, it will be an even more super transfer.

The last news that i have heard about the transfer of Declan Rice was that Arsenal is indeed the favorite now to sign Rice and not Bayern Munich anymore. The article also said though that the transfer fee will be even higher than the one for Jude Bellingham. Those were 103 M€ (plus possible bonuses). This means obviosly that Westham wants more than 103 Million € for Rice which is a very high price in my opinion. We should not forget, that the market value of Jude Bellingham is 120 Million € while Declan Rice is worth "only" 80 M€.
So if i were in charge of Arsenal or Bayern Munich i would definitely not pay more than 110 M€ for Rice. That would just be to much.

It is of course possible that he will be able to improve his performance as generally he has the talent and potential, but he is far from the quality of an offensive midfielder that Arsenal could need. He has now been playing for Chelseas for 3 years and there was no season that was remarkable. They were all average and in a weak team he sometimes managed to be the best, which wasn't hard because everyone else was underperforming. It could be worth a try to sign him, but nowhere around the price of 75 million. The whole transfer market is inflated.
Havertz is entering the last year of his contract with Chelsea, he is a good player and talented but in the wrong team. I think it's time he went and developed his talent with another club, where he can get more credit for his contribution. Harvertz has a good career opportunity if he can pick the right team. There would be no point if he continued to stay with Chelsea, and nothing would come of it. But it all comes back to his decision, if indeed he believes in the new Chelsea coach, namely Pochettino, and then chooses to stay, maybe one day he will be able to get several awards when Chelsea's performance is recovering under Pochettino's coaching.
