About Messi I'm hearing about some pay cut situation for him. But Messi doesn't intend to take any pay cut as it seems. I don't even understand why PSG would like to act like they don't have much money left in their wage budget. There is just no way that they are broke suddenly.  Grin  Maybe they just see the amount they are paying now as too much I don't know.

But keeping a player like Messi is still very valuable for them actually. Because his contribution to the team has been at a really serious level. But it feels like his priority will be Barcelona.
Mbappe and Neymar are both earning too much. This I quest I quest also contributed to their decline in performance. Lately, Mbappe was said to be the highest paid footballer in football, which is not supposed to be so for a rising star. The pride of money can cuz a man to to lose direction.
What did PSG except when they agreed on the contract before bringing in this three stars.  They should have considered their wage budget before bringing in this players.  Now it has affected the their financial statue. Let's see how they effect the pay cut on Messi leaving other players who ends the same or more than.

sad news:

Brendan Rodgers has been sacked by Leicester

Graham Potter sacked by Chelsea

source: https://www.instagram.com/fabriziorom/

I can say that Liecester is fair than Chelsea. They gave Rodgers time that he deserved. Liecester started underperforming right from the first day of the English Premier League till today. At some point it was as if he has understood what was happening and would correct the errors but he couldn't.
Although he had also been faced with some injury problems in his team but this wouldn't be an excuse.
For Graham Potter I think the sack has been expected by Chelsea fans for so long but it finally came. He is a good manager but was unfortunate in Chelsea.

It becomes even more interesting in the Premier League as Nagelsmann's fortunes are not idle for a short time. I am very much in favor of going to Chelsea and it has to happen for better improvement. It's like a coach swap where Tuchel occupied Bayern Munich and Nagelsmann occupied Chelsea.

With Nagelsmann at Chelsea, I think it would be ideal, he is a competent coach and able to bring aggressive play. Graham Potter was branded as a failed coach, he really wasn't fit to lead a club as big as Chelsea.

I think this is the happiest I have been since the start of the season and nobody should call this a sad news instead we should be celebrating as we now could possibly be winning something this season which is the champions league. With Graham Potter in charge of Chelsea I believe somehow we could pull a miracle but with him gone and someone else coming, we're definitely be defeating Real Madrid in the upcoming matches and imagine Julian Nagelsmann been appointed as the new coach of Chelsea and we then get to play Thomas Tuchel Bayern Munich in the champions league semi finals, that's would be fun to watch.

Graham Potter time at Chelsea was disastrous and I'm surprised it was not cut short a long time ago. I just hope this sacking isn't coming too late. Why give him so much long time if the management knew they won't keep him to the end of the season. I hope the appointment of a new coach comes quick so we can start preparing for our next games (atleast the new manager get to train with the teams for some days). They should follow the full steps of Bayern Munich that hire a new coach immediately they sacked their previous coach.

It seems that Tottenham Hotspurs are interested in the current coach of Feyenoord: Arne Slot. It will be a difficult decision for him whether he wants to leave Feyenoord in the summer. He has achieved the best years with Feyenoord since 20 years with this club, and he has earned a transfer to England. Furthermore, we don't see much transfer news on the market at the moment. Ten Hag will probably get what he wants, as United still have a lot of money to spend buying players. But I don't see any concrete transfers taking place in the short term. It's actually pretty quiet at the moment on the transfer market.

I don't know this coach in Feyenoord I guess he is not a famous coach but so far his team performed well however there is a possibility to sat all the success they had in Feyenoord was from the players, not the coach, even after they fire Conte I think he was a good coach and they had to keep Conte for another season and instead of changing the coach they need to hire better player and give Conte some time, even Arne Slot can't do something special in Tottenham without players.

Leicester's situation is very serious, they are in the relegation zone, in the last 5 games they only managed to have only 1 draw, this means that they are 5 games without a win, but what I cannot understand is that Leicester managed to beat Tottenham ( i know tottenham are a disaster ), but leicester managed to score 4 goals in the game against tottenham but then went on a streak of 5 games without a win, that's weird to be honest

about chelsea, i was already saying here that it wouldn't take long for chelsea's coach to be fired, it's not acceptable for chelsea to remain a mediocre team when they put a lot of money in to bring in good players, it was a matter of a short time before they fired chelsea coach because nothing would change as long as he remains in charge of chelsea coach, chelsea doesn't even have a chance of going to the champions league next season

How many of you have seen the most recent news on Mbappe. It looks like he may still leave PSG next year to Real Madrid on a free transfer. Reece James has also become a target for Real Madrid, that can be really tempting, to play for Los Blancos.

Reece James news

Real Madrid has always wanted Reece James and it all started two seasons back after Chelsea won Real married in their way to lifting the trophy. Since then I always see rumors of them wanting to get hold of him but it always just play out as rumors as they never came for him. There's no need them trying to sign him as Reece James is a core Chelsea supporter and player. The whole James family plays Chelsea (both him and his sister) so it'll be hard to get him to leave the club. He's also been treated very well at the club, I think he's among the highest earning especially for players at his level. Isn't mason mount trying to get a salary closer to his and that's why is delaying his own signature.

Nevertheless if he finally goes as our previous players has gone in the past, I won't blame him because the management at Chelsea needs to do something fast to reassure the players of them getting a quality coach so they can stand toe to toe with other big boys (teams) and compete for trophy, at the moment it seems that's not possible since we have a very average coach that isn't even angry if the squad is  losing to lower sides instead he's covering up for the team that they gave it their best, that's just funny.

Real Madrid and Manchester City seem like the most interested teams in signing Gvardiol in the summer. His cost to these teams might be around 75 million pounds as well according to some sources.

Gvardiol is a really skilled young defender now. Despite his very young age for a defender he has been doing a great job. He isn't good at only sweeping the dangerous attacks. He can support the attacks of his team with nice runs as well. It isn't easy to find a versatile defender like him at this age honestly. I wonder which team would be his first choice between these options.

Previously, Chelsea attempted to bring Gvardiol to Stamford Bridge last summer. however, Leipzig rejected their offer. now, several rumors are reporting that Man City and Real Madrid have put Gvardiol on their wanted list in the next summer transfer market window. in fact, some other rumors report that RB Leipzig admits that the Croatian is ready to take the next step in his career. however, whichever club wants to sign him. must be prepared to spend a pretty fantastic budget. because, Gvardiol should have a Real Clause value of £97 million in his current contract with RB Leipzig, several other rumors, Liverpool are also believed to be admirers of this Leipzig defender.  but it seems that The Red is not expected to emerge as a serious competitor to get his services in the transfer market next season.

apart from all that, IMO, it looks like Real Madrid will be serious about bringing him to the Santiago Bernabeu. because, considering that some of the defensive line players they have have entered a fairly old age. yes, it looks like Madrid will make some renewal of its players. but, so far it's still just a rumor so we'll just follow the continuation.

Ten Haag also wants their first goalkeeper to stay so let's see how board feels about it now.
It will be a big loss for Manchester United to loose De Gea. He is a very important component of the team, Making great saves with his wonderful reflex and single handedly being the difference for Manchester United whenever their defense was leaky. Even in their game against Newcastle today that they still lost by two goals, it would have easily been more had he not kept out a lot of chances that Newcastle created and that would have Increased Newcastle's goal difference.

I read some news about De Gea who was indeed stalling for time with this contract. On several occasions Ten Hag is actually trying to reduce the gap in player salaries by wanting to spend 200k-300k but De Gea's current salary is 375k which is indeed one of the highest paid players at Manchester United.
There is other news that says that currently Manchester United are also approaching Gregor Kobel from Borussia Dortmund. But until now De Gea still says Manchester United is his top priority.
De Gea seem to be bent on continuing and possibly ending his career at Manchester United, David De Gea has been outstanding for Manchester United in years past and still continuing his legacy at the club and has made his feelings known to the club that he wishes to continue in United jerseys, I think it is not a bad idea because even at his age he is still saving United, making vital saves to secure wins and keeping them in games, I think he deserves to be rewarded with an extension.
That is indeed very good, but the problem is that for now there is still no further discussion about this and it seems that De Gea is also holding back a little because of the salary reduction.
His current contract is ending and he still hasn't had any real and serious talks, even though we don't really know what's going on behind the scenes, but until now the media haven't reported on this, so we still have to wait.
On the other hand, Manchester United also currently needs to improve the quality of their strikers. I think that based on Weghorst's current performance, Weghorst still hasn't had a real impact, which makes him a little lacking in attack moves.

I have been hearing rumours like Leicester want to see Maguire back in the team on a loan deal. If this is true I think Manchester United should lean towards such deal. They can even try to put a condition to buy him as well for Leicester. Because Maguire isn't a part of the starting eleven anymore. He is just an option in the subs and I support Erik ten Hag about this decision as well.

Even in this situation I think Manchester United can find a better alternative for him to replace his place in the subs. I don't see him as a trustworthy defender because he can't play consistently I'm afraid.

I expect him to leave next season, his faith with the club is uncertain
Leicester has been a good home for him a good deal can be strucked to send him back
He has been watched saying how much impact he adds to the club but we both know he adds nothing but pressure to the defense

With De Gea's long-deserved contribution, he decided to leave and no one could stop him. After all, De Gea has given everything for The Red Devils, even from year to year he has completed his duties. Once again, in my opinion, it is only natural that De Gea finally decides to leave and no longer wants to extend his contract.

From his recent interview it seems like he wants to stay at United. He has been the oldest player at the club and his contributions towards the club immense. His contract is about to expire and United haven't proceeded with extension talks so no progress in that right now. I personally don't think he will leave the club at all. At the end this will be done. Ten Haag also wants their first goalkeeper to stay so let's see how board feels about it now. It's a busy schedule for them so naturally they will be lot more focused on the games right now but I am pretty sure they will do something about this situation in the end.
Either the club preparing something big and promising for de gea ... or simply the club can't offer much as the salary demand that usually become a problem for a player like de gea , loyal player that ask for more , or could be united waiting for the takeover to be conpleted so they would have a fresh funding.

It's been reported that de gea turned down the first contract extension offer few days ago , he had his salary got cut in the last couple of the season and looking to gain back what he sacrificed for the club but united dishonored him.

I'm getting bored with this because every player transfer update is sure to include him in the news which is always busy. But actually the conditions remain the same as before, with Barcelona still having difficulties in balancing their cash book conditions and with those who are still having financial difficulties, it is certain that Messi will not be there.
Just ignore any rumore related to the messi. Let barcelona sell some players first before talking about bringing back messi to the camp nou. Barcelona will never ever able to bring back messi if it's still having bad financial conditions.
I may believe that messi will be moving there if barcelona already sold some players and got bunch of money from selling its players. So much media was always trying to linked him to the barcelona caused by that was also the hottest topic that is attracting treffic.

Gavi may leave barcelona in the summer. This guy may be leaving barcelona with a free transfer agent. I hope that gavi will be moving to another league like EPL. that will be so good to have him joined in one of big club in EPL.
They need fresh funds of more than 170 million now to balance their cash book in terms of transfers on the other hand they also need to release several players who are not really used there for that but they still hope to be greedy with Messi is something that is like dropping into the abyss.
At the moment Gavi's contract is still in trouble because previously the contract renewal was canceled and there needs to be something real for this because otherwise I agree with you that the possibility of him leaving is quite high.

I won't be surprised if Benzema chooses to leave Real Madrid in the summer. I know that he made a statement like he would like to finish his career at Real Madrid but we still never know what the future can bring us.

I don't know how long Real Madrid are planning to continue with him above all else. Maybe they don't have plans to sell him yet. But Benzema doesn't need to stay until the end of his career in fact. Because he must have already achieved all of his goals with this team. He had an unforgettable season last year as you know. He has collected the most reputable prize for himself also. Maybe it might be the time for him to make some changes in his life. This can really happen especially if Real Madrid find a good alternative to him meanwhile.
It would be sad to see such a quick transition from Ballon d'Or to retirement, but in fact it would make sense. Benzema has achieved everything in football and given that he retired from the national team, the next "end" (at club level) will be easier for him. Although if he chooses a big contract and a couple of years in Saudi Arabia, then I think that everyone will be happy.
We can still read in the online news about the possibility that the Saudi Arabian club will buy Benzema, Modric and Segio Ramos, and there are rumors that Al Nassr will do that

at almost 40 years old, I see these three players better playing in the Arab league because currently only clubs from the Arab league can accommodate them all at once

playing for money at the end of their career I think is a very reasonable reason

Lionel Messi returns to Barcelona is of nothing, what will he be coming  back to do ? . Instead of Barcelona he should just follow Ronaldo's step look for a club that can offer to pay him very well .
Barcelona needs young players to strengthen the team more, not people like Messi that is losing strength in performance as time counts.

I guess you've not been watching Lionel Messi. He may be getting old, he may not be as strong and good as he used to but he's still an asset every big club in Europe will like to have in their team. There may be a few downside on Barcelona if they sign Messi, but his performance is not one of them. Messi is still among the best players in the world right now. You saw what he did in the world cup, you also saw his performance for Argentina during the international break (if you watched).  Right now Messi has over 50 goal and assist this season, and that is his bad season. How many players in Europe today have over 50 G/A this season alone?

Messi would be a very big asset to Barcelona but the problem is, they might go back to the way they used to and just keep relying on him, making it difficult to strengthen the squad because the weak links won't be noticed much. Another issue is that players like Raphinha, Dembele and Ferran won't have enough playing time to develop because Messi would be a starter ahead of them. Also, Messi's salary might make it a little difficult to recruiting big players because there might be no money to pay them and Messi.
Messi continues to be in the spotlight due to PSG failure in the Champions League, PSG fans increasingly ridicule Messi for not being able to bring PSG to win the Champions League. Now Messi's future is being speculated, his contract with PSG is valid until June 2023. At an increasingly old age, it has not reduced the interest of big clubs in Europe to use his services, he can still be relied on even though he is not able to run as fast as he used to.

It is difficult to find players who always maintain their performance at a high level. Almost every year he always looks good, he is also very active in scoring goals and providing assists. He will not make blunders in his career, offers from Arab clubs are indeed very tempting, but his status is not an outcast player from the club he has defended which is difficult to find a new club. Barcelona are still trying to sign Messi, maybe he will have a new role under Xavi. Barcelona already has top players on the front lines, Messi can be placed as a playmaker who serves the attackers in the front row.

David de Gea joined Manchester United in 2011 and until now means he has been in the red devil uniform for more than 1 decade. Actually, De Gea is still very good as Manchester United's main goalkeeper, but as far as I know De Gea has never hesitated to give everything for Manchester United and it is only this time that I find out that he is starting to hesitate to consider the offer of a contract extension. David Raya is one of the best goalkeepers in the English league and I think if Erik ten Hag is interested in signing him to replace De Gea later that would be great. However, we still have to wait for the latest news whether De Gea will really leave or not.

The recent news from this rumour is Manchester United has attempt to give De Gea contract extension but he was refuse that offer and some rumours said why De Gea refuse new contract from Manchester United because he want higher salary than the current contract but the negotiations still on going and both sides will find a way out to determine De Gea's future in this team however besides that apparently Manchester United is ready to lost De Gea if negotiations fail and recent rumour is Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa is in Manchester United radar and he could be an alternative options if De Gea decided to left
The decision that De Gea took has shown his satisfaction at Manchester United. We all know that the replacement option will be exercised in the summer whether it's David Raya or whoever is sure that the task of guarding Manchester United's defense is very tough and with a club of this size it will take a long time to really adjust. Ready or not, De Gea is already a Manchester United legend and his name will be clearly displayed in the Old Trafford museum.
