Ronaldinho's son, Joao Mendes (17 yo) is set to sign with Barcelona's youth team. There are no game statistics from the previous club Cruzeiro. Not much information about him, I tried to find his appearance on Youtube, and found this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hK2Bm9a5QBQ

Is it possible that Joao Mendes will be able to compete with other Barcelona players as a starting XI, or will he be loaned out more often than played with Barcelona? What do you think?
When looking at the video it seems that Joao Mendes is very dominant using his left foot, in contrast to his father who is dominant using his right foot. I think it's pretty good considering he's still very young and joining Barcelona. But there are indeed indications that later he will be loaned to another club before he is truly mature to enter the Barcelona first team squad list.

What do you think if Potter already try so many times to find the best player in each position, but in the end Chelsea is still lose?
Potter did more than 10 games with chelsea and mostly the result of these games were loses. Potter has gotten so many chances but chelsea's managements were so stupid but let him to be a coach even longer. Todd is also the most stupid owned i have ever seen.Everton's owned is far better than todd.lol i don't know the way todd was thinking about his club.

of course the main problem is Potter itself. I don't think Chelsea have similar case like Manchester United where the curse is from the player e.g. Ronaldo, after Ronaldo leave, Manchester United is win streak until now. In Chelsea there's no one have a power, so there's no be a personal problem there.
I do agree with it. Potter must be sacked. Potter recently claimed that the main problem was not him but the players itself. It can't even be accepted. Potter has also become the worst coach in the history of premier league. This can't even be accepted. Potter didn't have mentality to coaching chelsea. I vote for zidane, enrique or mourinho to be a new coach for chelsea but not for potter

The latest on the transfer rumours is that PSG are monitoring 3 forwards from the Bundesliga club. The first is Kolo Muani from Frankfurt, the other two players are Marcus Thuram and Manu Kone who are players from Gladbach. All three are still quite young and it looks like this will only become a reality if Neymar does leave PSG in the summer transfer window.

Marcus Thuram was into Chelsea and Inter Milan radar even he almost moved to Chelsea this winter but i don't know why Chelsea preferring to prioritize Mykhaylo Mudryk over him because i am sure Marcus Thuram quality doesn't below to Mudryk and in Monchengladbach he can playing with different position as a winger or striker and as the player who from mediocre team i think his goals records very impressive that from 20 matches Thuram has been scoring 11 goals during this season

His contract will be expired on summer this year because apparently Monchengladbach has decide not too extended his contract and if the rumours is true then PSG has joined the race with the teams i mentioned above so very interesting to see which clubs will be his destination
Marcus Thuram is one player I really admire especially after seeing his outstanding performance in the world cup, I love his strength and ability to force through defenses and create good chances. I expected Arsenal to go for him when we lost the race for Murdryk in January, I don't think Chelsea will be interested in Thuram after making all these signings in January.

I don't think Chelsea will act for Thuram either. I see Thuram next year in the Premier League, but I don't know which team will transfer. If, as a surprise, he manages to make it to the champions league, Newcastle could bring him to the team. It should not be forgotten that he is only 25 years old and has a promising future. Whoever wins Newcastle or any other Premier league team, I think Thuram will be successful.

It has been rumoured that Gvardiol has been linked with chelsea. It's caused by his friend Nkuku was joining with chelsea. that makes gvardiol interested to do the same thing as nkuku. Chelsea has been rumored to be included gvardiol in the list of transfers for upcoming season.
It was giving advantage to chelsea to get him. There must be so many players need to be terminated or sold by chelsea first.

Well for me this is just a rumor without much substance to it. At the moment almost every player is linked with a possible transfer to FC Chelsea because their new owner does not really know what to do with his money and he also does not know how to build a successful team. It should be obvious by now, that just buying a lot of players that are individually very good does not automatically mean, that this team will have success. I have to say i liked FC Chelsea under Roman Abramovich way more, they have also spent a lot of money back then but at least they spent it relatively smart on players that made sense. Now they are just throwing away their money without any thought behind it.

This is hard to say but it is fun to observe how the kids of some GOAT players are actually doing. Just in terms of the sport, it must be hard to be the son of Messi, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and the like. Usually you can't win, but only lose. Life still isn't bad of course as you are rich like hell and do even get the chance to show your talent to reputable soccer clubs whereas unknown kids don't even get the chance.

A bit off-topic, but in Formula 1 the son of Michael Schumacher tried his luck and even though he was convincing in Formula 2 and 3 I believe, he still couldn't make it (yet).

Does anyone have a good example from the top of their head where the son of an outstanding soccer player had a similar or even more successful career?

Perhaps this question is most of all now worries Potter himself. I see different publications are already starting to predict the date when Potter will be fired, but Bowley does not want to be like Abramovich and change coaches every six months, and he said that the coach should have the opportunity to prepare the team in the offseason. Therefore, Potter will most likely have the opportunity to stay in the team until the start of next season, and then everything will depend on him.
Just because of the Graham Potter problem and Chelsea many people have forgotten that Liverpool is performing woefully this season.
They forgotten that Liverpool is nowhere close top 4. They have forgotten that Liverpool my likely not go to Europa. everybody is now talking about Graham Potter and Chelsea. It is not only Potterthat is having problem, the English football clubs this season are very unpredictable and everybody is having the test of their own tea. Even the mighty Manchester City that used to be at the top of the league is finding it difficult to climb.
Arsenal that is at the top is not resting for a second.

Is it possible that you are missing a tiny little, yet significant detail why everyone is talking about Graham Potter and not so much about Klopp?

With a net transfer spending difference of literally half a billion Euro I think it is ok to discuss Chelsea more than Liverpool! Cheesy If this is not a statistic that is worth the discussion the way it goes, then what is? Keep in mind that this is just for the season 22/23. Oh and first column is players bought, second column is players sold. Chelsea bought 24 players at an average price of close to 23 million Euro. Is that the highest spending per season in the history of soccer? I don't know, but if such a team then is ranked 10th and only won a single game out of the last five, something must be wrong.

Agree. I see no reason that Rudiger will leave Real Madrid. Rudiger experienced a good season with Real Madrid and he can play regularly. There is no bad issue about Rudiger and Real Madrid, too. So, Rudiger should stay in Real Madrid and won't be interested in Tottenham offer because he is already in the best club in the world now. Ancelotti also will try to keep him because Ancelotti knows that Rudiger has a good role in Real Madrid squad. Rudiger is a strong CB and rarely gets injured, it is difficult to get his replacement if he is leaving.
Real Madrid's achievements are even greater and Rudiger can become even stronger with teamwork at Real Madrid. So maybe Rudiger hstud will first consider the offer made by Tottenham, Real Madrid also of course won't let go of one of their best teams easily. because right now they are playing great with Barcelona to win in La Liga.
i don't think Rudiger will leave, he's playing at one of the best teams and he's doing a decent job, and i don't think Real Madrid would want to get him off of their squad, i'm pretty sure he will keep playing for a couple of years at least with Real Madrid.
I agree with the commenter who says Rudiger will stay with Real Madrid. Let's face it, he's a defensive beast, and with his teammates and Carlo Ancelotti's direction, he's nearly unbeatable.

Who wouldn't want to play for Real Madrid? They're a world-class team! Rudiger has excelled under Ancelotti. He's an essential teammate.

Will Rudiger leave Real Madrid soon? No way, buddy. I'm excited to watch his and the team's future successes. Real Madrid's chances of winning major titles are greatly increased with Rudiger. Sit back and enjoy some genuine sports excellence.

Chelsea doesn’t really need a new manager now. Because the idea of dismissing Potter now would raise serious questions over those backroom appointments just months into their restructuring. If you could observe, you’d notice that Potter has been trying players in different positions in order to get a good team to fire up but it’s yet to work. And I feel there is a sense that Potter should be allowed time to enforce his own principles on their expensively assembled squad, in the same way Arteta was backed, before he should be judged.

Talking of helping the club I'm overall, is the club helping him at all? Currently, I will say it's Joao Felix if any one asks me who is doing undoubtedly well for chelsea. Joao Felix will offer more than he shows if t all other players best is as good as joao's. If u doubt it, count his contribution per match and compare it to every other attacker.
Some people have suggested that Joao Felix will play better as the top striker for Chelsea, but I do not agree with them because watching Felix play, he does better running from the midfield towards goal than being placed at the center as the main striker. Havertz has not been impressive, but there is something about him that offers hope, but still I think Chelsea another pure striker since they are into the buying business, they need a new coach as well, that is very obvious by now.

Thuram is an attacker who is currently being discussed a lot because there are many big clubs who are very interested in him, including: inter - barcelona - chelsea - PSG - Bayern - milan but the one who really needs him the most is inter because they will officially sell my lukaku, so inter need a replacement for lukaku ASAP.

To be honest, I see that Inter have little chance of getting Thoram because their competitors are very rich teams who are willing to offer insane prices to get the players they want.

What is still being speculated is where lukaku will go because Chelsea and Inter don't want him anymore.

If I'm not mistaken, Marcus Thuram's contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach will expire at the end of this season. So, PSG or any other club can transfer him for free. This is a great opportunity. Also, Marcus Thuram has proven himself in Germany. He also plays for the French national team. I think he is a valuable football player.

Also, Messi's contract will expire at the end of the season if I remember correctly. If PSG want to continue to be an ambitious team next season, they have to transfer a few quality forwards already.
Maybe this is what PSG wants to sign Marcus Thuram in the summer. He is listed as one of the top 5 top scorers in the Bundesliga so far this season with a total of 10 goals. But PSG could fail to get it if Gladbach offers a contract extension at the end of the season. It is true that Messi's future is still unclear until now and if indeed Messi leaves PSG, at least he will not only get Marcus Thuram but also Kolo Muani who has played very well in Frankfurt so far by scoring 9 goals.

Every player would be thrilled to join Real Madrid, one of the most successful clubs in the world. At the present, Carlo Ancelotti is making effective use of every player for Real Madrid. Rudiger is a vital defender who has the support of his teammates. Under Carlo Ancelotti, the German had good beginnings against the starting eleven and gets regular playing time. His moment has come to lift trophies, and he will win significant titles with the club.

I think it's part of the process, we can't just look at the game shown by one player, we have to see them as a whole. Have we seen Chelsea play well now? I can't say that yet, to be honest. Joao Felix can show good performance if his team plays well, in the sense that he can't play alone. Graham Potter has yet to find a strategy that is truly implemented optimally by the players who are on the field, it also affects the performance of the players. He also recently joined Chelsea, so I still have high hopes for him.

Manchester United is a good example for that. They have become more and more united in the literal sense over time. Chelsea isn't a real team yet. They are quite strong individually, but they don't have a system that they can stick to for 90 minutes and outplay the opponent. They just need too many chances as well. Werner is gone but he could have scored twice every game and hardly scored any goals at all. Havertz is the same problem and we will see how Joao Felix will do.

What leaves me seriously puzzled is how Chelsea will stick to the financial fair play rules. Everyone with a sense of fairness knows that this can only be with accounting tricks, but then it still has nothing to do with financial fair play in my opinion.
In terms of cohesiveness now maybe that can be emulated and indeed this is what happens when the players and coaches are well synchronized not only depending on one party.
Even though some Manchester United players have still not shown anything above average, let's say Weghorst, who until now has not shown his quality but that has been covered and of course this is not a problem because Manchester United's performance is still good.

In contrast to Chelsea's condition, which is sure to be scrutinized both as a team and individually because of their performances this season.

Chelsea has bought pure striker from leipzig but he was not coming until next season caused by nkuku must have played with leipzig until the end of season. Chelsea was also buying fofana but his performance is not as good as what already expected before. It's now chelsea is trying to hunt more player.

There are bunch of critics toward chelsea management but it seems like that the management keeps denial about that. They didn't aware about what's wrong in the club. Chelsea has been targeting thuram from gladbach too.

I don't even know what needs to say about this club but chelsea can only wasting money for nothing. So many players being bought become useless after all.

A good player didn't always perform so well in the new club, chelsea needs to learn about this. The bad thing is chelsea is also trying to buy back tammy abraham which is a very bad move for sure.

Josko Gvardiol has admitted he wants to follow Christopher Nkunku 'wherever' his RB Leipzig team-mate goes in a huge hint regarding his future.

Nkunku is reportedly heading to Chelsea this summer after agreeing to join the Blues when his release clause comes into play.

'The signs are very, very clear that he's moving to Chelsea,' Leipzig sporting director Max Eberl told BILD about the forward's proposed £53million move.

Gvardiol said: 'I have never seen before a player like Christoph, he is unbelievable.'

And in a remark that will get Chelsea fans purring, the World Cup semi-finalist added: 'Every time I talk with someone about him I always say wherever he goes I want to go with him.'
