Saturday's transfer gossip:

Chelsea are fully behind manager Graham Potter and are planning a mass clear-out of players if results do not improve. When clubs are in crisis and not achieving good results, club managements usually replace coaches, so this is somewhat surprising news. Will this approach pay off for Chelsea?
Arsenal are confident of completing the £80m signing of Mykhailo Mudryk, 22, from Shakhtar Donetsk in time for the Ukraine winger to make his debut against Manchester United next weekend. The Ukrainians were obviously very demanding negotiators and it seems that they managed to raise the price of their player.
Chelsea could sign France forward Marcus Thuram for as little as €10m (£8.86m) this month with 25-year-old's Borussia Monchengladbach contract expiring at the end of the season. A very good price for a great player.
Manchester United have received serious takeover interest from the Middle East, Asia and America and are poised to invite formal bids from them by next month's deadline. British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe is also expected to bid for the club. In the end, who will bid the most and take over the club? The Saudis again?

Arsenal looking for the possibilities to bought Raphinha from Barcelona this summer and Arteta feel Arsenal still required new winger and Raphinha might be suitable for his strategy moreover during in Barcelona Raphinha didn't get a place in the starting eleven because Xavi more trust other players than Raphinha so probably Barcelona will allowed him to moved if Arsenal offering good deal for them and apparently this summer Barcelona decide will sell some of their players and besides Raphinha i saw other players such as Ferran Torres and Ansu Fati will included into Barcelona sell lists for this summer
I think Raphinha is a very talented player and if he joins Arsenal he will be a good backup on the right wing for Saka. Right now I think Arsenal are more focused on getting Murdryk who has been a priority target this January. I can't wait for this deal to be completed quickly so our focus can be shifted to getting atleast one more player before the window closes. I will love to see Raphinha join the premier league.

As reported by Transfermarkt, Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Memphis Depay from Barcelona. Of course this is not without reason after Joao Felix was loaned to Chelsea, of course Diego Simione is looking for new players to replace Joao Felix in their attack line. While Memphis Depay rarely gets minutes to play at Barcelona, this will be a serious consideration between players and teams.
I think this could be true but the problem may be in the price.
I think Barcelona is too big in setting a value, especially when we know that Depay was brought in for free, so the price of 20 million I think is too big.

But indeed in other respects Depay I don't think is bad for Atletico because if he stays at Barcelona he won't get many chances to play so being at Atletico I think will be good enough and at least he will get more opportunities especially Joao isn't exist so the position is empty.
That's right, so if Depay leaves Barcelona, he will get more playing minutes than having to be on the bench with Barcelona. Regarding the price, it is a bit exaggerated, maybe because Barcelona's finances are currently in a slump, so they give a price that is quite expensive for Depay.

In my opinion, hiring Mbape for a gigantic salary plus 300 million bonuses is an unhealthy hire. Signing Ronaldo or Messi (if he really repeats this path) does not carry anything terrible and in fact it is money for the brand.
It will be scary if the clubs from the oil countries start buying up the current top players not to the European clubs they own, but to the clubs of their countries. This is going to be really scary.
I believe that it is not so easy to convince most high level players to play in the Saudi league. The country is very different from the West and the league is not as desirable if the player is thinking about his national team and world cup.
I can understand the salary of Mbappé (but I don't agree) because it's a young player, can really help PSG win titles, sell merchandise all over the world, he's the face of PSG etc.
I was just reading about the Messi and Al Hilal in more sources. Government of Saudi Arabia want to attract more sponsors and want the championship games to be broadcast to more countries, that would be the real intention, and at the current moment almost nothing would be bigger than a Messi vs Ronaldo.
My bet is Messi will stay at PSG at least this season to try UCL.
And just a correction, some sources said that the salary could be as high as $350 million.
mundodeportivo.com/us/en/soccer/20230112/31161/messi-the-biggest-wish-for-hilal.html

I feel like after Lionel Messi won the world cup people have started talking about him less. Probably because there is nothing more to talk about him. You can talk about Cristiano Ronaldo and the controversy around him. Which is obviously going to give a lot of views. And you know, people also like controversy. I am also quite sure that if Lionel Messi was unable to win the world cup a lot of people would still be talking about that.

Anyway, I think Lionel Messi is going to stay in PSG. I believe he would want to win a Champions League title with PSG. He is not going to go to a club in Saudi Arabia for a lot of money at this point in his career I believe.

Some rumors about Depay now seem to be starting to interest several clubs.
Since there have been rumors that several Barcelona players will be sold in order to save on current salary expenses, Depay has started to be looked at by several clubs.
Previously, there was the name Rome, now Depay was lyrics by Atletico.
This is a little fair in my opinion. Joao's position is still vacant now and inevitably Atletico must find an alternative.
Depay's condition is also a bit favorable because at least at Atletico if this is indeed an agreement then he will get several opportunities to play bigger.
Memphis Depay is still talented and experienced player, a very important characteristic that will be needed in every team. Before the world cup I would have doubted this news but after putting up a good performance at the world cup with Netherlands what would you expect. Atletico Madrid seem to be very interested in the player judging by the number of times and places I see this headlines. Depay will fill in for Joao Felix if he joins.
In fact, previously there were several names that could be options, such as Auba from Chelsea and Borja Iglesias from Betis. But Atletico still chose depay in this case because indeed there might be some affinity between Barcelona and Atletico who have previously made several agreements between players like Griezman and Suarez.
At the moment it looks like it's only a matter of time because seeing Depay's condition which is not really needed and Atletico who are serious I think this transfer will be fast.

Al Hilal team are thinking of a move for Lionel Messi to counter their rival Al-Nassr after they signed Ronaldo on a record deal. However I don't think Messi would think of leaving Europe now.

Because the situation is not the same for Messi. He is already a PSG player and his performance level is very high. He is fighting for the Champions League title with his team for now. He is expected to extend his contract with PSG one more season also. Al Hilal are also ready to spend insane amount of money on Messi transfer. They are speculated to offer $300m a year to Messi. This is definitely huge but just as I said I don't think this is the time Messi is leaving PSG.
Rumors about Lionel Messi being linked with Al-Hilal have existed since official news appeared that Cristiano Ronaldo had accepted Al-Nassr's offer. It's impossible for Messi to leave PSG now, he is an important figure for the club and has contributed a lot this season. So what Al-Hilal has to offer might not happen in the near future, but if in 2 more years it is possible that Messi might leave PSG.

I dont think Messi will leave europe to go to Al hilal. I think this is just a rumour that will never happen. Ronaldo maybe moves to al nassr but messi probobly wont move here. He will either stay in europe or go back to argentina.

Even if Messi ends his contract with PSG, at least there is still Barcelona who want to accept him just to be the place where he ends his career. if not, he could play in the American League with David Beckham's club. or it could be, Messi will end his career at PSG. all of that can happen, but it seems I'm quite doubtful if Messi will end his career with the Arab League club. Messi has many options, at least there are many clubs that will accommodate him at the end of his career as a professional football player. Messi also has a desire to become a director at a club, yes, Messi sees Zidane as his inspiration, before becoming a coach.
Just like i said before Messi to Barcelona is only fans demand and i think it's hard to be realized considering his bad relationship with Barcelona owner Juan Laporta but if Messi decide to left PSG i am sure his main priority is european clubs and i think it's not difficult for Messi to looking for new clubs because some of clubs has show their interest to Messi before but indeed lately after Ronaldo moved to Al-Nassr seems this became an new trend on Arabian league that with the power of money those clubs will attempts to gets famous players signs but everything can happend in football that i mean who is not tempted by a very large salary and not impossible too for Messi to accept this offers

Of course they have the money to transfer Messi. But Messi will not go to the Saudi Arabian Pro League. We all know this very well. Because he still has credits in the European leagues. He is not like Ronaldo. Maybe two years later he will go to the Saudi Arabian Pro League to earn money. But there is no reason for him to go there today.

I think Messi will return to Barcelona at the end of the season and leave football there. He will not go to Asia or America.
These two star players have different conditions, in which Ronaldo left Europe to go to the Arab League (Al-Nassr) because so far no one has signed him in Europe, but star players like Lionel Messi are still very much in demand among Europe, Lionel Messi is one of PSG team candidate who has a high performance game, after winning the world cup match yesterday we are not sure that Messi will move to the Arab League.

Maybe the media crew made the news that Messi would go to Al-Hilal, and I think this is just news Rumors made up by the media crew.

Unlike Ronaldo's move, I don't want to isolate him. but since his statement with Piers Morgan, it seems as if his career ended in the European League which in the end inevitably he is willing to join the All-Nassr club, instead of his fantastic salary. and the only Striker who still exists at the age of 40+ is, King Zlatan who still plays with Milan.

Felix is going to stay as Chelsea player until only the end of the season. Therefore this isn't a big deal for Atletico Madrid considering the long term. But for the rest of the season they had better fill his place in the team. The season is already going on like a nightmare for them. They can't afford some level of drop in their squad quality also. Maybe Felix could have played much better for Atletico Madrid but he was still one of the decent players. He was a regular in the starting lineup also.

Atletico Madrid seem to have long-term plans for him as they want to extend his contract to even 2027. This might mean that we won't see Simeone as of next season. Because these two haven't been getting along with each other well.
Even though he was just on loan from Chelsea, we couldn't enjoy his action until the end of January due to the red card sanction that Joao Felix got. Indeed, Joao Felix's role at Altetico Madrid is very important. It is possible that later when his loan period with Chelsea ends, he (Felix) will extend his contract with Atletico Madrid. Coach Simeone should have been replaced this season, in my opinion he will only worsen the performance of Atletico Madrid's players and for many years he has only been able to give Atletico Madrid the best places in the top 4 in La Liga.

I also think so, Messi is still able to play well and PSG really needs Messi presence in their squad. Ronaldo's farewell to Manchester United in an inharmonious way made it difficult for him to find a club in European competition, Ronaldo had to swallow his own saliva because while playing with Real Madrid he had said he would not play in a league outside Europe.
Messi will remain in Europe for at least the next two years, PSG are trying to offer Messi a new contract and reportedly Barcelona are still interested in bringing Messi back to Camp Nou.

We didn't know yet how much money that being offered for him by al hilal. A bit surprised to see that al hilal already offered two times more salary compared with ronaldo. It seems like that will make messi think so hard about moving to the al hilal. Al hilal has become a very strong competitor for al nassr. There will always be possibility for messi to go to the al hilal. This gonna be a very good thing to see that if messi will try to decide move from PSG to the al hilal. What already offered by al hilal was a lot of money.
Messi has not yet decided his future and the possibility will always there.

Ronaldo and Messi have different conditions, if when the contract with Man United ends and a big European club immediately makes an offer to Ronaldo I'm sure he will choose the club over his current club while Messi does not have to hurry to accept an offer from the Arab club especially if there is another big European club that will make an offer to him when his contract with PSG ends, then the European club he will choose, and in my opinion Messi looks calmer in his career so maybe he will end his career in the next 2-3 years and PSG is the club where he ended his career.

The difference between Messi and Ronaldo at this point in their career is that Ronaldo still plays football like he has a lot to prove. He has nothing to prove and he needs to know that. Messi plays football just for the fun of it at this point.
A 37 year old player that has achieved every possible thing in football should be okay to be on the bench and help out his team. It should always be about the team. He needs people around him that tells him the truth that he's not what he used to be 10 years ago. His first mistake was leaving Juventus in that manner. He should have never have gone to Man United when he left Juventus. Same thing I pray for Messi not to do (go back to Barcelona). Ronaldo should have just found a way to go to Manchester City instead but its too late now.
What Ronaldo has achieved may be difficult for other players to achieve, Messi is slightly above Ronaldo when judged in terms of winning titles with clubs and individuals. Messi has managed to prove himself above Ronaldo, the world cup trophy is the only title Ronaldo has not won. Now that Ronaldo has moved to Asia to play for Al Nassr in the Arab League, the rivalry between Ronaldo and Messi has ended. Messi, who is still playing with PSG, is still able to contribute at the highest level, while the Arab League Level is much lower than the European Competition Level.

So frustrating for Porter. He needed defenders, he has gotten, and he needed attackers he has gotten, and now the club is not doing well. Many are saying that midfield is the major challenge. Even if Chelsea's significant midfielders are on injury it doesn't mean that the second Choices aren't good enough to cover the pace at least till the rest players return. They are not the cause of the poor results the club is Facing. Zacharia and Kovacic made a good duo in the EPL match against man city, but they underperformed ag against Fulham. Midfield is not the cause, the moment is just bad, I believe it will be fine in subsequent times.
I think the current situation with the club now is very much similar to early parts of the season with Tuchel, same injury troubles and Tuchel wasn't so lucky to get the amount of new signings Potter had got since he joined. This are really trying times for the club and I just hope the management will learn from the mistake they made by sacking Tuchel without giving him enough time to settle in and find a solution to the problems at the time.

Chelsea already bought some strikers instead of making its midfielder and defensive like become stronger but chelsea was only focusing to the attacking line which is very disappointed. I think that chelsea needs to do so many things to recover its performance. Felix is having horrible performance during his debut. That doesn't even make sense to call him as a good player while his debut proves that if he was not even capable enough to be a good striker.
The red card has been proving how bad he is. Chelsea was making another failure transfer.
But before leaving the field, Felix actually played impressively. The 23-year-old striker fired the most shots (6 times) with 4 of them on target and dribbles were successful 2 times. He also made Chelsea get 4 free kicks. Because he got a direct red card, Felix will be absent for three matchweeks, I also think Felix on his first debut might be too excited so yeah I think it's only natural even if it hurts Chelsea

There's a news where Chelsea is interested with Noni Madueke aka PSV Eindhoven player in left winger position. Where are people who always say Hakim Ziyech is a good player and Chelsea mistreat him? after 4 matches he doesn't contribute anything. In left winger position, only Sterling and ZIyech are fit in this position, but since Sterling is currently injured and Ziyech doesn't show anything, Chelsea is prefer to sign Madueke.
PSV Eindhoven is currently experiencing financial problems, although previously they also sold Cody Gakpo to Liverpool, reportedly PSV Eindhoven is willing to let Noni Madueke go if Chelsea dares to buy at the price they set. Currently Chelsea are in a bad condition, the arrival of Noni Madueke is believed to be able to help the problems they are facing, although it is not certain that he will be able to have a big effect in the near future.

If you look at the readiness of the funds owned by the new Chelsea club owner, it is very likely that Noni Madueke will become a Chelsea player, but there are still many rumors that might occur about this player.

Quote
The verbal proposal is around 30 Million Euro, I don't expect there's would be so much change since Madueke's market value is only 10 Million Euro. This what looks on Chelsea internal financial since they've spend a lot money lol.
As for the matter of price, it could change or the selling price of players will increase, because Chelsea is in need of players to refresh Graham Potter's squad, so his arrival will help the team a little going forward. If PSV Eindhoven takes advantage of the bad conditions that are currently being experienced by Chelsea, then it is very likely that player prices can go up more expensive.
