hmph..
Messi may not be the best option for Barcelona to strengthen their squad, he has already played past the stage where he feels he needs to prove anything, so he will may not be the best pick. Also  will he not be too much of a financial burden to him? I feel the next best place for Messi should be a league where much is not demanded but will be paid heavily as brand name. Messi needs to follow the money now and Saudia Arabia is a good place for him. Al Hilal has shown interest, he should take the deal.

It's true, Messi might have a hard time getting a new club if he doesn't get a contract extension offer from PSG. Barcelona is in crisis, look like it's impossible for them to pay Messi. Messi is not only interested by Al-Hilal, a few months ago, rumors said that Messi have an options to join MLS club. however, if he wants to continue competing with Ronaldo, Al-Hilal offer should be the most appropriate. Apart from money, of course his rivalry with Ronaldo in 1 league can be repeated again.

Messi farewell to PSG was inevitable, he started to feel uncomfortable being there because the PSG fans didn't appreciate him. Barcelona are at the forefront of welcoming Messi arrival, Xavi will try to urge the club to immediately process Messi arrival to strengthen his squad for next season.

But I ask you for how long has that rumor been circulating and how often has it been brought up again? That's part of the news like every couple of weeks and will be even more so the closer we get to the summer and the opening of the transfer market.

I wonder if Messi declines an offer from PSG because they don't want to pay him enough and he has to accept salary cuts, how is Barcelona going to stem the salary for Messi? That is the part I don't get here.

I think it is still everything possible and I hope he is not leaving for Saudi Arabia.

I don't think the salary has anything to do with this Messi saga. I believe Messi wants to be assured of the project of the club before he agrees to remain there. He wants a better squad and better management. If they can promise that they will do that then I believe he will sign with PSG.
He is also accessing the same thing with Barcelona. He is waiting to see if it will be possible to join Barcelona and if they can guarantee that they have a good project and he believes in the project they're building. It's what players do when they have offers from various clubs. Some might just follow the money but most often what they do is go for the club they feel has the best project for them.

Messi is willing to go to Barcelona and receive very little compared to what he's earning at PSG, but it doesn't mean he would make the same sacrifice for PSG because PSG is not in a financial crisis like Barcelona and secondly, because he doesn't owe PSG any loyalty.

After previously it was rumored that Gavi was with Bayern Munich, now it is Chelsea's turn to become interested in the services of this young player. It was even reported that Gavi's agent and representatives from Chelsea had met in Madrid. This further reinforces the rumors that are happening now and the possibility that if there are no more obstacles then Gavi will go to the EPL next summer.

Other rumors come from PSG who will continue to stalk Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea, we know that previously Ziyech almost joined PSG last winter, but due to a delay in documents that made Ziyech finally postpone joining the Paris capital team. But what is clear is that this option may also be an alternative if Messi later does not want to extend his contract with PSG, therefore PSG have begun to approach Hakim Ziyech again.
I think the rumor Gavi will join Chelsea is really funny, Gavi is one of the most important player in Barcelona, he's always play in tough match for full time. I think Pedri and Gavi are having a good chemistry, which mean if one of them join a new team, the another one will follow it.

Chelsea never let Ziyech to play anymore and it's a valid reason why Ziyech is possible to join PSG, Ziyech is a popular player too in the last world cup with his national team, Morocco.

Gavi in talks with chelsea right now. christopher vivell has been doing some talks with gavi's agent ivan de la pen in madrid. Gavi will be going to the chelsea with free transfer status caused by he was going back to his old contract with barcelona. I meant his current contract with barcelona already inapplicable anymore since he has been removed by la liga. There are some news were also linked him with enrique potentially to be a new coach for chelsea in the future.

Ziyech was just an old rumor that appears again. he has been loaned to the PSG last transfer season but his document was wrong. that's why he didn't get approval from french league to join with PSG.

You can see that some old news that already discussed it. PSG will try to get him again from chelsea but i dunno about what kind of status that will be wanted by PSG.

Messi's uncertain future with Paris Saint Germain might not be just be decided because by him because of the financial packages that'll be involved but other keys factors as well. Since  he returned from the FIFA World Cup tournament, it seems there's this rift between him and the PSG fans probably because his team defeated France to win the World Cup. He has been heavily criticized by the club supporters each time the the teams underperforms and now that his beloved Barcelona is calling for his return, I think it'll be very difficult for him to turn down.
There are so many things that hinder Messi from extending his contract with PSG, one of which is that PSG fans demand too much from Messi. After PSG failed in the Champions League, Messi became the first party to be attacked by the fans. Another factor may be that because Argentina dramatically beat France in the world cup final, Messi was also banned from bringing the world cup trophy to PSG headquarters on the grounds of protecting the feelings of their fans.

There's a news Leicester City already announce Dean Smith as their head coach and he will replace Adam Sadler, this is quite controversial news because Dean Smith was previously drag Norwich City from Premier League to Championship, but he have a good record when he was managed Aston Villa where he make Aston Villa lead from Championship to Premier League.

He's still new, so we will not see a big change to Leicester City in this season, he only need to make Leicester City get eliminated since they're currently at delegation zone.

Seems to me like Leicester has given up chasing the upper midtable and has accepted placing wherever this group of players they currently have will take them.  I really thought Brendan Rodgers could take them higher at the table eventually.  And the club tried to stick with him too...  But to no avail.

Who are currently the best players in Leicester's squad?  Those players will be playing with another club for sure.  :/

It is claimed that Benzema has turned down an offer by a Saudi Arabia team and he wants to stay at Real Madrid for one more season.

This can really be true because he is really enjoying his game right now. This season is also going on really good for him. He made two hat-tricks recently as well. Maybe his performance this season isn't the same as the previous one but it must still be enough for Real Madrid. They will need his productivity in the Champions League as well while we are very close to the quarter final games.
Benzema is loyal to his boyhood team, even when he was under the shadows of Ronaldo he remained at the club and waited for the right time to step in and he got his chance in the end. He has always been loyal to Real Madrid and has given everything to build the team.

PSG supporters were booing Messi when I last saw him in a game. It must due to his not extending his contract with the team still I guess.

But this is a big disrespect to Messi in my opinion. Because since he adapted to PSG's system he has been performing really great. He has done his best for the team so far in every tournament. He has made a much bigger impact than Neymar also honestly. The fans have a really unfair attitude against him. Messi's priority is always going to be Barcelona in the end. He was even hoping for a return there before signing for PSG. The financial issues blocked the way. He will hope for reuniting with the team this summer again for sure.
It is no surprise to me seeing even the best get rejected, mistreated and betrayed when things don't go smoothly anymore. Ronaldo faced it too at Manchester United and Messi is facing it now but I think every player has a right to their individual choices and should be treated with respect. If he has decided not to extend against the wishes of the fans it is also understandable that it is their choice and reasons to it.

As i predicted before if chelsea will not even silent seeing one of barcelona star gavi potentially going out from the barcelona in summer. It has been reported that

Quote
Chelsea have launched an operation to sign Barcelona's young star Gavi this summer - with talks reportedly already held between the Blues and the player's representatives.

The 18-year-old Spain international midfielder could be available for nothing if there is no solution to the contract registration row between his club and LaLiga.

Barcelona haven't been able to register Gavi as a first-team player, despite his importance to the side, because of their ongoing financial struggles.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11959713/Chelsea-launch-bid-sign-Barcelona-star-Gavi-summer.html

The financial problem has been preventing barcelona to sign more players into the la liga. Meanwhile, barcelona is still interesting to bring back messi again. There are so many names that will be sold by barcelona for messi.

Quote
Barcelona are looking to offload seven players in the upcoming summer transfer window, with Andreas Christensen and Ansu Fati on the list of potential departures. Apart from the duo, Abde Ezzalzouli, Ferran Torres, Franck Kessie, Raphinha, and Eric Garcia are also on the list.

https://www.sportskeeda.com/football/rumor-andreas-christensen-ansu-fati-among-7-players-barcelona-eyeing-offload-summer-reports

It will be so good to see that so many barcelona's players will be going out soon. I hope that some EPL clubs will able to prepare their money to sign those talented players that developed by barcelona. Barcelona was selling so many players just for messi.
That proves how valuable messi for barcelona right now. 7 for 1, is it worth it?

There were rumors that PSG also wanted to cut his salary because they are afraid that the same might be happening to them as it did to Juventus Turin. Since they also have to take into account that players like Neymar or Mbappe could be leaving, they would have to find replacements at the same time.

But yes I agree, money probably won't be the main issue. If Messi thinks that the fans suck, he could easily leave and go elsewhere. His relationship is not and will never be the same as it was with the Barcelona fans. But still I wonder how Barcelona would ever be able to pay his salary.
He has been linked with a number of big clubs in recent months because his contract is about to expire with PSG. Previously, Messi was preparing to sign a new contract with PSG after winning the World Cup. However, now he is starting to have doubts because PSG intends to cut his salary by 25%, and because of this, in my opinion, it is very unlikely that Messi will extend his contract at PSG.

Apart from the salary cut, in my opinion, the factor of the PSG fans can also be one of the reasons for Messi's departure. According to rumors circulating, it is reported that Messi has now opened the door for all clubs who want to ask for his hand, including the opportunity to return to Barcelona.

I came across this article and couldn't believe it is true about Zidane. There Zidane is quoted from an interview and he said that he won't take an offer from a Premier League club because he doesn't speak English and he doesn't intend to learn it. Firstly, I never thought that Zidane doesn't speak English, but when I thought about it it makes a little bit of sense as most time of his life he was in France, Italy and Spain. Secondly, I wouldn't have expected Zidane to not be willing to learn another language! So he would really decline when Manchester City puts 20 million on the table because of a language barrier? Generally, there are always good reasons to learn English besides taking an offer from Manchester City Tongue

Haven't you seen this before? I thought this "excuse" from Zidane already made everyone laugh. Such excuses look ridiculous, since at some time he considered the possibility of heading either Juventus or Bavaria - it is obvious that German and Italian are not native to him either, and it is unlikely that he speaks them better than English. I don’t know why he couldn’t come up with a more plausible excuse because everyone knows that he will simply never go to the Premier League even if all the players and other people there suddenly are from France.

Hmm your comment got me thinking again and I am 100% of your opinion, because who in the international soccer world having played in several different leagues doesn't speak English? Cheesy This is not to discriminate against anyone, but Zidane isn't a stupid guy. I was just thinking about him traveling to the United States and then says "sorry, me not understand, no English". I can't imagine that is true. I did a search on Youtube for some interview and he does indeed avoid to speak English. He interviews Beckham in French and every other interview (1 and 2) he really responds in French when he is asked in English. Cheesy

I have no idea but he can't be joking, can he? Perhaps it is really the reason that he is not going to the Premier League. I mean what else would keep him from going there?

I was actually thinking Leicester will hire refeal benitez .at some point there were discussions between the 2 party..bredren rodgers did a great job with Leicester up until last season and this season,I think they have a step up over the last 4 years ,and by so should be able to attract a top coach, but to settle with Dean Smith, some how was surprising. But one can only wish him and John Terry well who is also member of his coaching team.

I’m unsure what kind of impact they are expecting Dean Smith to have. I think they just got desperate and panicked, maybe they are hoping for a new manager bounce which seems to happen so often. Luckily for them it’s so close down at the bottom, any kind of mini run of good norm, a few wins etc would take them out of the relegation zone.

In some ways the bottom of the table is more exciting than the top at the moment. It’s so close, there will be lots of drama down there right up until the final day of the season.
Dean Smith have been appointed as the new interim Leicester coach until the end of the season. He's good replacement for Brenden Rodgers who departed the club 2nd of April.  Dean will turned the remaining game of the season around for the Foxes. His presence will see the return of Craig Shakespeare as dugout assistant. The ultimate target for the new boss is to escape the relegation zone this season. We also have former England Captain and Chelsea legend, John Terry in the coaching staffs section. The players will expect winning results this time around.

Its not about Messi decision want to stay few more season with PSG or not but depending how personal agreement reach both side have complicated offering. Lionel Messi want to get the same salary received by Mbappe and PSG seems not agree for accepting Messi offering, Messi have bring positive impact for PSG this season although still failed in Champion League but his consistency performance helped PSG keep dominance in Ligue 1 standing awhile. Two months left Messi's contract with PSG and not still reach agreement yet until right now he will extended or not, maybe Messi can try Primer League competition for one or two season later before playing with Saudi Pro League or move to MLS competition.
The detailed offer or the main point is the reduction in salary in the new proposal which Lionel Messi will not agree to. He is the best player that has been recognized so this should not be applied by PSG management if Messi wants to sign a new contract. I think this is what makes the situation go complicated in the agreement between the two parties.

For lionel messi he is at the end of the line to end this season with psg because many offers have come to him and even pressure from the family to return to Barcelona is a consideration that he has thought about long ago.

Every effort has been made by PSG management to persuade Messi but there has been no answer from him.  I predict that Lionel messi will have an oral agreement with the barcelona board after the end of his contract with psg.

It is rumoured that Messi's father has met Barcelona already but there isn't any agreement for Messi to return for now. However I'm quite confident that Messi is looking forward to returning home.

He has been doing a really good job at PSG so far. He has impressed people with his performance for his new team as well. However it still looks like he doesn't feel himself belonging here. He doesn't look willing to extend his contract either. In this case I would also like to see him back at Barcelona. Maybe Xavi is building a different team now but Messi would be welcomed happily there anyway.
But with things like this and wanting to force Messi back to Barcelona, they have to be prepared to sell some of their best players.
Messi's return if it really happens will further make their balance not improve especially now they also have to prepare around more than 170 million to balance their coffers and when Messi returns it means they have to empty more funds and of course selling star players is the way.
But on the other hand, I think it won't be worth it even if Messi presence will bring a little blessing from sponsorship.
Because there has not been a new contract agreement that has occurred between Messi and PSG, Messi can be without a club next season. Barcelona are trying to bring in Messi even though they have to sell several players in order to bring Messi back to Camp Nou. It is reported that Barcelona will release several players who don't contribute to the team. Players like Ferran Torres, Raphinha and Ansu Fati will soon be sold in order to sign Messi.
Barcelona must leave space in their squad to welcome Messi arrival. Barcelona must move quickly to get Messi because Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal and MLS Club Inter Miami are also trying to sign Messi.
