Tuchel does have a stubborn and authoritarian character, but in his leadership, he managed to bring Chelsea well. Of course Tuchel will now not potentially return and will not be invited. On the other hand, Graham Potter is indeed facing the threat of being fired if, within a certain period of time, he is still unable to make changes to Chelsea performance. Now the task is more difficult because it is to catch up and have to build as aggressively as possible, in fact it is difficult to be in a safe position in the English league.
Tuchel has had issues with the owners and even though he was meant to be brought back I don't think he will and there's no way this is happening as Todd also has a really stubborn streak.
But talking about Potter, if indeed he can't improve his performance until the end of the season and is stranded in the middle standings then it is likely that he will not be able to maintain his position no matter what, especially Todd is very ambitious to increase Chelsea instantly.

There's a sad news Hugo Lloris announce his retirement on international football career, so he wouldn't play for France anymore. At least he already feel become a world cup champion on 2018, although it just need one step more to become back to back champion on the previous year world cup.
We can understand if he wants to retire, he is already 36 years old. It is no longer a prime age for a footballer, many previous legends even retire before that age. Lloris already won many titles, the biggest title was surely the world champion in 2018. It is very enough for him, he doesn't need to target any title.

Well it seems Lloris is still playing for Tottenham, but I think his performance will constantly dropped since he's wouldn't trying very hard like before.
It is not about his effort decreasing but it may the impact of age factor.

Tottenham need to hurry up to find a good replacement since currently the other goalkeepers are have poor performance.
Yes, Tottenham needs to plan signing a new top GK. They can't rely on Lloris anymore, he may retire from a football career in the near future. I suspect he only wants to play 1 season more before retiring.

Small rumor from Spain.
Real Madrid wants Harry Kane for the next season.

Not sure it could be a good move, does Benzema leave the club?

Also, Kane is not so young anymore 100m for an almost 30yo player?
I think it is a big rumor, why it is a small rumor?  Undecided

Sure, it is a good move, Kane is still a good striker although he is already 29 years old. There is no problem with his age, his performance looks fine. If he doesn't really shine in Tottenham, it is because he doesn't have enough support there. He needs more players to give good assists to him. Real Madrid can guarantee it with many top midfielders. By the way, I am sure Benzema to stay, why he should leave? Benzema is still needed for Real Madrid, he is the captain. He can play together with Kane, right?  Wink

Even Arsenal are rumoured with Eden Hazard these days. His contract is expiring in the summer of 2024. There have been many rumours such as he will leave Real Madrid in this month. I only heard about him being related to the Turkish team Fenerbahce but I don't know how reliable that source is. Fenerbahce are known by bringing big players to the Super League after they start getting old. We have had many examples like Roberto Carlos, van Persie and so on.

But I don't think there won't be any other European team being interested in him. Yes maybe he has lost his shape after joining Real Madrid but maybe leaving the team would improve his motivation to play better again. I wonder what he can do in case he returns to the Premier League also.
Eden Hazard's dip in form was very noticeable when he joined Real Madrid, I'm not sure if any team in Europe would want him other than Arsenal you say and even then with not very credible sources. I have never seen an impressive game from him since he joined in the 2019/2020 season. Maybe the last time I saw him look extraordinary was when he was still in a Chelsea uniform.

I think he ended his international career on a high note, winning the world cup once and finishing as finalist in the just ended Qatar 2022. Even though I wish to see more of his heroic performances for France I have to accept that his time has come to an end. France will have to make a new goal keeper selection to take over in his position and Areola happens to be the next suitable candidate to step in as Lloris's replacement.
He is 36 years old now and will become 40 by the next World Cup so it is logical to retire just after a good performance with France in Qatar World Cup.
For his local team, there isn't an urgent need to sign a replacement for him since he will be there with them for the next two - three years.

I don't think Chelsea would be very sad if Felix shows a wonderful performance until the end of his loan contract and goes back to Atletico Madrid later on.

Because Chelsea would just think of increasing the productivity in the attacking line to finish the season properly. Even if they lose Felix in that case then they would be ready to pay a big sum to sign another good attacker. Nkunku is already going to be joining the team by this summer as far as I know. Maybe there wouldn't be any need to sign another striker in that case. I'm curious about David Datro Fofana's effort in the remaining time period of the season as well.

Lloris can be really proud of his international career, there can’t be more than 10–5 international goalkeepers even still alive who have played in & won a World Cup. Shame for him he wasn’t able to win a second one this year, that would have made him one of only a few to do that in history.

I don’t even want to speak about this Mudryk guy. €100,000,000 for a guy who has done close to nothing in his career. Football has gone crazy, too much money involved for some very average players.

There are reports that Arsenal are edging closer to an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk over the signing of Ukrainian winger Mykhaylo Mudryk. I think Arsenal are still in negotiations with their Ukraine Side but both parties seem to very close to an understanding regarding the overall cost of the transfer, which may reach the €100m mark. Some bonuses are still being discussed and the talks are to continue this week. I don’t fell alright with the money involve but if this deal pulls through, he’ll thicken their attack in the hunt for the EPL title.
To be honest I am getting tired already with this whole Arsenal-Mykhaylo Mudryk business. The negotiations are taken too long, today we hear he is close and the next day we hear that Shakhtar Donestsk are staying form to their decision to let the player leave for a fee lower than their asking price. I think Arsenal should just issue Sharkhtar Donetsk an ultimatum to agree to the deal or not so we can move on with other targets if Mudyk cannot be purchased in this transfer window.

There are new speculations surfacing about Harry Kane to be transferred by Real Madrid this summer.

I have started thinking already that Tottenham chairman Levy won't be able to keep Kane in the team this time. Because Tottenham are still the same now. Conte's arrival and the start of this season was a big hope truthfully. However this didn't last too long and Tottenham started to make big mistakes again. They are in a big distance to the leader now and it seems very difficult for them to enter the title race from now on. They are already out of the EFL Cup as well. I don't see them convincing Kane to stay with anything. If Real Madrid make an official offer later then the transfer fee might be worth around 100 million euros.

Along with Mohammed Salah, he is one of the most valuable football players in the Premier League, but if he does not leave Tottenham, he will complete his career without winning any important cup. I think he should go to one of the cup monster teams like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. I think every quality football player would like to see one or more cups in his archive. Actually, I would like him to stay in the English Premier League. Manchester United or Newcastle United could be a good option for him. He can continue his successful career by staying in the Premier League. I think there are a lot of options for him but he should definitely leave Tottenham now and go to a more ambitious team.

Rumors, initially it was rumored that Joao Felix would be loaned to Manchester United. but what happened, United was overtaken first by Chelsea for the agreement to recruit Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid. Joao Felix is rumored to be close to the Premier League and on loan at Chelsea after the Blues reached a verbal agreement with him.
Chelsea lost a lot of injured players, in the end they took steps to borrow them from Atletico Madrid and as reported by Fabrizio Romano. he revealed that Chelsea were in an advanced stage of negotiations to borrow Felix. it is also reported that Chelsea will pay the full salary of Felix and a loan fee of 10 million euros. I'm not sure Felix is the answer to Chelsea's needs, but with so many injured players there aren't many options. I hope that the arrival of Felix to Stamford Bridge will boost the team's performance as a whole.
well, so what about the fate of United at this time. I'm very curious, which striker will Ten Hag bring to Old Trafford this January.
This agreement has been fulfilled, Joao Felix will fly to London to undergo media tests and indeed the loan fee is € 11 million with salaries all shared by Chelsea, now it is ready that Chelsea will have an ideal figure for their victory I am looking forward to how Joao Felix plays in the Premier Maybe this super tight league will be a new experience for Joao Felix while on loan.
But Joao Felix has extended his contract with Atletico Madrid until 2027, meaning that Joao Felix will still return to the team, completely Chelsea will not have Joao Felix if he impresses in the Premier League.
Source
It's still off the radar about Ten Hag who will recruit players, maybe there are still some considerations as an alternative.

Personally, I do not think that Joao Felix is a very good player. I also do not think that he is a bad player. I think he is someone who can be above average in the right situation. And we all know that the situation in Atletico Madrid is obviously not right at this moment. So, I think he might actually be able to play better in Chelsea. Let’s hope that he will be able to regain his form. And play at a level in his new club where he will be able to attract the attention of some big clubs.

Philippe Coutinho and Hazard has the same fate in football, them leaving the premier league for La Liga was the start of their downfall, Philippe Coutinho was everything at Liverpool but he felt he was bigger than Liverpool without him realizing that he was the one holding Liverpool back because it seems immediately he left they started winning major trophy like the premier league and champions league. Even Hazard, immediately he left Chelsea they won the champion league then went on to complete football by winning the club world cup and super cup.

On point bro, but here is one major reason I guess that pushed both Coutinho and Eden Hazard to leave Liverpool and Chelsea as at then, Is passion to play for a dream club , you know those players when they were kids or starting to play football they do have a particular club that they love or dream of playing for, so once an opportunity is presented to them to play for that club, they aren't gonna consider whether they're gonna make it there or not.

Too, if you checked, Hazard had already spent enough years at Chelsea and Coutinho a little bit years too , therefore sometimes players would like to change and play for another club at some point when what they're looking for isn't available for them in their current club.
So Sometimes it favours them while sometime it doesn't favor them, players are always entitled to choose to do what they think is good for them.

Yes I also confirmed the news on Facebook via Fabrizio's page that Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have reached verbal agreement on a loan move for Joao Felix for €11m which Arsenal considered too much for a 6months loan move. It looks like Chelsea are hijacking the deal already and are confident they can get the deal completed in few days. Too bad Manchester United will be missing out on yet another good player in this window after missing out on Cody Gakpo to Liverpool, maybe Manchester United were not really interested in the deal after all.

Manchester United to me weren’t into Felix that much. The transfer fee was the first problem United had with Atletico Madrid because the buy clause seems too expensive in Manchester United perspective. That aside United don’t really need Felix because they have players with similar playing pattern like him still struggling for minutes. If united need a winger badly they would have called back Jordan Sancho or even give the young pellisteri some more minutes. Rather what Manchester United is a towering striker who is good on the air and with Werghoust they have that play who is also more experienced.

although in fact, MU will not need Felix with his playing position. but actually, MU seems to want Felix. although the biggest obstacle was the problem of price negotiations that did not reach an agreement.
Felix officially joins Chelsea as a loan player. whether this will benefit Chelsea or not. but it looks like Chelsea wants to improve their appearance. although what the summer transfer market did was quite a lot. but they do not show anything good.

It looks like there's some more buzz going on about Gladbach's goalkeeper Yann Sommer potentially making a move to Bayern.
It seems like Gladbach is keeping things on the down low for now, with the club assuring Sommer that they'll pick up talks with Bayern once they find a proper replacement for him. It seems that the transfer fee for Sommer has lowered from €8-10m to potentially €6m if they can find a replacement at that price. Anyway it looks like Bayern will have to step up their current offer of €4m if they want to make the transfer happen.

I am not really sure what to think about that potential transfer to be honest. Don't get me wrong, in my opinion Yann Sommer is definitely an absolutely great keeper and also one of the best of the Bundesliga and probably also in Europe, but to buy him now even though Manuel Neuers contract is still running until the end of next season. So this would mean that they would have Neuer, Sommer and Ulreich at the beginning of next season and in my opinion Yann Sommer is just to good to be happy to be a number 2 keeper behind Neuer. And Sommer is also 34 years old already so this would definitely not be an investment for the future.

I still don't understand why this player's don't beg to go back to their former club immediately they see that their move out of the club hasn't flavored them even though it means they take a pay cut. Aston villa was never the right club for Philippe Coutinho to go to in trying to revive his career, he's a top player and should be playing with other high quality players in competing for trophy instead of the team he's playing out. I wish him luck were ever he goes, he isn't a bad player for his career to be going down the drain like this.

You nailed it, Coutinho should have remained at Liverpool. He played very well at the club, and after he went to Barcelona, it was very visible that his level has dropped a lot.
And there's some coincidences with Eden Hazard, in Brazil and Belgium, both players played better than in their clubs.
At this point I think Coutinho don't have space in any other big club, but I'm almost sure if they play with good players, he can play well again, but he's not a player that will make a difference like before.
If he comes to Brazil, it's almost sure he won't go back to Europe again, but at least he can play, receive a good salary and fight for titles.
He also lost place in Brazilian team.

This is very interesting, Harry Kane can finally leave England to play in another league
I heard some rumours about Bayer, Manchester and Real Madrid trying to get him.
At the age of 29, in my opinion he should go to Real Madrid to try another league, another challenge with real and great chances to be the champion of UEFA Champions League, he almost won 2018-19, but in Real Madrid there's more possibilities to win La Liga and UCL.

Yann Sommer is not making statements in public due to a promise made to him by Gladbach. The club's bosses assured him they'll get back to the table with Bayern as soon as they find a replacement. Due to this and to his connection with Gladbach, Sommer remains silent

Bayern would have to pay at least the amount that Gladbach needs for a replacement. Initially, Gladbach demanded €8-10m. But now, it's quite possible they'd be ready to negotiate for €6m, provided they find a replacement for the same fee. Bayern offered €4m. [@SPORTBILD]

Wait and see, tbh. I wouldn't be so sure whether Sommer will really move to FC Bayern. I can somehow imagine that the transfer will still fall through in the end.

It's too early to discuss Harry Kane's next move. The young man signed a 6-year contract with Tottenham last year, and I don't think he has utilized even a year yet, so talking about his next move is a waste of time even though Real Madrid brings 200 million Euros.  It is in Kane's position to decide to live only at when his contract with the club expires or there are complicated challenges within the club. For now, I don't think Tottenham's underperformance is enough for Kane to leave

It’s a little bit understanding that Chelsea have been struck by an injury crisis in recent weeks and that made them to act quickly to get Felix's deal done. Although he has had an inconsistent spell for Atletico this season, registering just few goals and assists from his 14 appearances. But his performances during the World Cup, contributing one goal and two assists suggest there is more to come from a player who was once so highly touted. If suited perfectly in Chelsea, with his abilities, I don’t see anybody stopping him.
Felix is worth the price that was paid for him. Even if he has not had many goals for Atletico Madrid, Chelsea can be different for him.  His presence can add some influence to the way the other Chelsea players in front are playing. A lot of attention will be on him, in the coming days for Chelsea to see how well he will adapt to his new team. Chelsea has spent a lot already, but they still need some more players to occupy key positions.
Is not all about saying "he is worth the price" because we have experienced such a transfer before. Take, for instance, Werner was doing extremely well in Leipzig before he was seen by Chelsea. Then we would also say that Werner is worth the transfer price, but arriving at Chelsea, he became floppy. I can't even talk about Kai Harvat and Aubameyang who are currently contributing nothing in matches. If Joao Felix makes a difference from the aforementioned flops, it can then be said that he is worth the transfer price paid.
