Ronaldo has considered his decision even though he previously said he wanted to end his career with honor in European competition. Ronaldo's decision to accept Al Nassr offer was very surprising, he could still choose MLS as a place to continue his career. He has his own reasons for choosing to join Al Nassr rather than staying in Europe or moving to MLS, looking for a new atmosphere in a different league can be used as an excuse even though some people think the reason he joined Al Nassr was because of money.
I think the reason is the money and nothing more. Not the money itself directly, but because he was seen as an idol and offered such a huge amount. Could he go to Bayern and say "please hire me, I would work for just a million euros, I would accept being benched as well please get me!" and Bayern wouldn't? Most teams would want him for that type of money, but that would be humiliating for him and I do not think that he would be fine with it.

Here, he would be starting all games, hell they fired the guy who did not give up number 7 jersey number just so Ronaldo could take it, which is a proof that he is seen as an amazing player for them and this type of respect was the thing he looked for.

After Chelsea brought in Aubameyang I thought the team will improve very quick.  But I'm not seeing any improvement from Chelsea instead.  Most of the big teams in the English  premier league are showing improvement but only Chelsea is still remaining stagnant,   no improvement at all.
Aubameyang is no longer a top quality footballer, i actually thought Chelsea would make a move for Ronaldo before he went to Al Nassr, but that wasn't to be, i guess they had other ideas in their head. Having said that, Chelsea's problem isn't solely on Aubameyang, it is a team issue, Sterling that came into the team in the summer from City isn't doing too great, but prolly not too bad as well. The thing is, at this point in time Chelsea look quite average, they do not have that top club mentality anymore, and imo that problem stems from the manager Graham Potter, he isn't a big club manager and i have said it a couple of times before, Chelsea deserve better and i don't think they'll achieve much, if anything with Graham Potter as their coach.

Ronaldo told in an interview that he has played for European club and now be wants to play for Arab club . He took this decision very sensibly as he knew he wasn't getting any offers from Europe and A Nassr was very wiling to sign him with such good pay package.
No man, Ronaldo itself was really wanna play in EU but since he has not gotten any club that wanna give him a new contract and then he has decided move to the arabian league. So many times ronaldo has been sending various offers to the so many clubs but none of these clubs were showing interest towards him. Ronaldo has no chance again to perform in EU. I guess money was not the problem in this case since he was also biggest football influencer in the world. THe problem is he is not yet finding a new club. if he was still try to continue wait for the new team to call him with no ETA
What is clear is that now we will see one of the best players in the world will play for the Arab league, and that means we will not see another appearance in Europe at club level at least until his contract runs out. It could be that there will be another surprise in the next transfer market when he returns to Europe again right? lol. I didn't expect that, but I wouldn't rule out this happening.
He has decided to play in Arabia with a very fantastic salary. What I see is how influential he is for the Arab league itself. We can see now from the number of followers who have signed him on social media which has increased dramatically, I also heard that television stations will be broadcasting Arab league matches in droves.

Exactly Ronaldo has been waiting for offers from clubs in Europe to invite him to join them. Since no one interested took an interest in him, he also took up other offers that came from outside Europe. Money was not Ronaldo's goal in joining Al Nassr, because in the transfer market last season Ronaldo had wanted to leave Manchester United because he wanted to play in the Champions League.

Is Ronaldo's decision to join Al Nassr a big mistake? The reason for his decision is unknown to me, of course. It was not just financial considerations that led to the decision to go to Al Nassr. Other incentives don't exist for going there. There is no need for money, but he should hold onto his legacy. There was a link to FC Porto, which I thought would have been perfect, as it would have provided an opportunity to play European football.
I don't think it was a bad decision because an offer of high salary is always hard for someone who is 37 years old to refuse. Does Ronaldo still care about his career in Europe, it seems not and now he is more concerned with big projects at the end of his career.  Ronaldo may have realized that he would no longer be able to compete on the European stage with a number of players who were younger and faster than him. There's a lot of pressure for him to play in the top league, it's because he's a superstar.
Al Nassr themselves also have big plans behind their success in signing Ronaldo, and from a business perspective I think they will get a big profit even if they have to pay Ronaldo a fairly high amount. Maybe it was a tough decision for Ronaldo but he knows what he has to do in the next 2-3 seasons to increase his wealth rather than his playing career.

It does not seem to me like a bad idea for Cristiano Ronaldo to join the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr FC at this time. Because all of the reasons for him not to do so are to do with the fact that he did not receive any other offer from any European club, and this is a very serious problem. In addition to the above, it is pertinent to keep in mind that if we look at the view of other clubs, it is evident that they will not be able to afford Cristiano Ronaldo on such a high salary that would be suitable for a player of his age. In light of all of these factors, I think joining the Saudi Arabian club is a good deal for both sides.

I wonder why Ronaldo's move to Al-Nassr is seen as a mistake; a reduction in his standard. Let's face it, the amount being paid him a year is enough to feed one small country, hehe..just kidding. But honestly, won't blame hos actions or choice because the way I see it, the dude does not want to lose out totally. With clubs refusing to sign him and all.

Most of Ronaldo's fans still want their idol to play in big European clubs. that is why, there are many who say his move to the Arab League was a mistake. however, the real problem was that no European league club expressed their desire to sign Ronaldo even though at that time he was a free transfer player.

There is a lot of speculation if a European league club brings in Ronaldo. apart from the problem of very high salaries, Ronaldo also wants to play as a regular player. because of this, that is the consideration of most clubs to sign him this January. after all, his performance has declined greatly because it cannot be denied that at his current age, he cannot force himself to perform as brilliantly as he did in his prime.

In fact, Ronaldo's agent "Jorge Mendes" has tried to offer Ronaldo's services to many clubs in the last season's transfer window. but the fact is, as we know. in the end, Ronaldo didn't have many options and he ended up signing with Al-Nassr.

ronaldo's ego has blinded him so much that he can no longer see that his age has reduced his abilities as a player, he no longer has the same speed he had in the past, he has not been able to do the dribbling he did in the past, he doesn't have the same ability to score goals anymore, so this is a situation where he should have lowered his ego

but the biggest problem from what I see is that he doesn't want to have a low salary and he doesn't want to play in some small team, for that reason he chose a big team from an Arab country where he will earn a high salary and with that he will continue to appear in the media, of course he is forgetting that his fame there is temporary, in a few months everyone will forget about him

on why all the big clubs didn't want him apart from the reasons i already mentioned i think the core of the problem is that ronaldo has been complaining about the coaches constantly, and adding that interview where he just leaked all of manchester unted's internal problems so all clubs are afraid that he will repeat the same thing if they hire him

Well, we can see that everyone says that it's the end of CR7's career, but seeing that he's a player like CR7, I don't see it that way, I think that there can be many things to do, the player has a great future, The fact that he has gone to Al-Nassr does not mean that he is a totally buried player, he is a player who can play at any level, and I hope that if he can regain his confidence and potential in the Middle East, it would not be bad. idea, the great goalkeeper who was from Napoli in Italy will also be playing next to Ospina, so it could be that the player that everyone thinks is finished is not finished, he just came out of the failure of Portugal once he went to train at Real Madrid, and it is a pity that Florentino Pérez has not caught him, even if it is 6 months.
When I said it's sad to see the end of his career, I'm not talking only about the choice to go to Al Nassr, but in general, because he's 37 and we know the end is near, even for him.
We won't see anymore his memorable matches in Uefa Champions League, we won't see him making a hat trick in an important european match or playing among the best players in the world, this is the meaning when I said about the end of his career.
He'll probably make good matches with Al Nassr, lot's of goals and he's probably going to be the best player of national championship hehehe, but again, it's sad.
Maybe he'll end his career in Sporting, and the team have a good chance to play the UCL.
And there's a chance to see him at Euro 2024, but I don't know about being a starter or a bench player, like in Qatar 2022.

Right now, I see a lot of people making dumb comparisons between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi after Ronaldo joined Al Nassr.

A lot of people are saying that PSG does not have any Champions League and Cristiano Ronaldo’s current club also does not have any Champions League. So they are equal!

Those are really dumb comparisons. I am not saying that Cristiano Ronaldo made any mistakes or anything like that. All I want to say is that he made the right decision. No Champions League-playing team is willing to take him on for such a high salary. Because there are a lot of younger players who actually perform better than him. And they can also dedicate their time to the team and the club for a longer period of time.

Aside from Chelsea wanted to sign Enzo Fernandez that will need to spend 120 Million Euro, they're already sign a new player name Benoit Badiashile from Monaco for just 38 Million Euro and his contract last for June 2029 which is 7 years! [1].

This might be a best transfer by Chelsea since Badiashile is a potential young good player. Badiashile is good on clearance and long pass, similar like Thiago Silva. But since Thiago Silva is already old, currently he's 38 years old, so I expect Badiashile will replace his position.

It's a pretty crazy contract because it's a contract that exceeds expectations because usually I see long-term contracts of 4 to 5 years but Benoit is on a 7 year contract.
But seeing as he is still 21 years old, it is a little reasonable maybe because Chelsea wants to secure this young player for the future. although this is a bit excessive in my opinion.

they only see Ronaldo's current mistakes that maybe his performance has decreased because of his age, but they didn't see when he was young where he was the greatest player of his time, so I think Ronaldo's decision was right as long as it makes him comfortable I don't think it's a mistake

It doesnt really matter does it. Eventhough he was one of the best player around, its hard to actually keep him in check hence there wasnt any club that wants him around ( well aside from his crazy wages ). Messi was also a top player in Barcelona before he moved to PSG but did you remember how he was treated there before he show that he is still capable of playing?

You're right, wherever he goes, it's the best choice he has thought of carefully. So going to the Arab league doesn't make him make the wrong decision. I feel he is being criticized a lot now, whatever he did was wrong in many people's eyes. In fact, we all know what the ambition of Cristiano Ronaldo is. I salute Cristiano Ronaldo's mentality which I have not seen in other players.

An alternative to Thiago Silva was needed. I still think he played very well. So, considering his age, Thiago Silva really does even more than is expected of him. Badiashile is 21 years old and has a height of 1.94 m. They will see many advantages of being tall in the game. In current football, your defenders need to be long. I think it's a very good transfer for Chelsea.

At this Chelsea need reinforcements in their midfield and defensive midfielder options. They were previously interested in Enzo Fernandez who had an exceptional run in the World Cup with Argentina who were the world champions. Badiashile also could be a good signing but I think Enzo will be the better of the two in my opinion. The transfer window is live now and it is only a matter of time before we know who will be the next Chelsea player.

It looks like most of their new transfers are likely to arrive by the summer. David Datro Fofana is here now but let's see how big impact he can make. Chelsea need a big improvement in their scoring potential.
Meanwhile, Chelsea is risking their position in the Premier League, which has shrunk, aka dropping with their poor performance. In the summer transfer, I don't know what steps will be taken by Chelsea in the midst of demands to qualify. Unlucky season at the same time detrimental to the stability of the Chelsea manager himself. With the target of buying next season, it is certainly quite difficult because adapting amidst the demands will make Potter frustrated.

at this time he swallowed his own saliva and chose to get the biggest salary in the history of world football. Ronaldo might also think there will be no Europa League club that can afford al Nassr's current salary of 200 million Euros.

He had forgotten what he said. Besides the most important thing is that no european club is willing to sign him at the moment. Perhaps this is due to the nature that has been done while at Man United. I think a lot of european clubs are afraid he's going to repeat that, besides maybe the coaches are afraid of not being able to control his behaviour.

After Ramos, it turns out that another rumor is Modric. Al-Nassr makes a big surprise if this happens. But at the moment Modric is still a mainstay of Madrid, maybe for January it seems impossible that he will leave.

I am also a bit surprised by his decision to move to Al Nassr. However, Ronaldo may only see this as the right decision for now. He must be aware that it will be difficult to join big clubs with his current performance, so he probably only has a chance to join small clubs in Europa. He may plan to end his career in Europa leagues (top leagues), but what happened lately isn't as expected (it is out of his plan). He must forget his previous plan, and choose a more realistic decision. Since a big offer like Al Nassr offer won't come twice, I support his decision to accept it. We can't blame him for inconsistently in making the decision, he just has no chance to end his career in a top team as he planned previously.

at this time he swallowed his own saliva and chose to get the biggest salary in the history of world football. Ronaldo might also think there will be no Europa League club that can afford al Nassr's current salary of 200 million Euros.

this became a controversial decision, by ending his debut in the European league and moving to saudi arabia, ronaldo seems to want to become saudi arabia as the end of his career and enjoy the wealth obtained from the arab club.
There's nothing wrong if he really wants that, everyone has the right to choose and change choices.
