Seeing the outcome of Arsenal vs Newcastle United game yesterday, with no marquee names to call upon off the bench, I felt Arteta ran out of ideas and had no real firepower amongst his substitutes to change the game. With the way things are going, they could be in danger of slipping up in the coming weeks if the squad isn't strengthen considering the position they’re in.

Maximilian Wöber will add strength to Leed's defense a position which they have been lacking. €20 million is a fair price to me and I consider the deal a fair deal. Hopefully they will be able to sign more because they really need to strengthen vital positions in the team.

He may continue to play although he is already 40 years old, but I don't think he will play until 45.
No, I doubt he will return to Europe. I guess Ronaldo will go back to his country after his contract expires in Al Nassr. Or he will retire and start to his new career as a coach.

In the world cup it was obvious again that Luka Modric still belongs to the best midfielders on the planet, even though he is already 37 years old. He is just pure class even though he is pretty old now. He has a great technique and his passes and especially his awareness on the pitch are probably still unmatched. I think though that his age could become a problem soon, because of the position he is playing. Usually central midfielders belong to the players that have to cover the biggest distance during a game and of course this gets harder the older you get. So maybe it would be a good move to only let him play as a 10 in the future. So he could still use all of his great skills, but does not have to run so much anymore.
