It cannot be denied that Man United is currently in a slump and may also have a messy condition at the moment but with all the bad things Man United is still a big team that perhaps many coaches would like to lead, and want to be the first coach who can bring Man United back to glory. It is really a big challenge because so far no one can be the successor to Alex Ferguson.

Who knows, this time with Ruben Amorim Manchester United can slowly return to the peak of glory, like the era of Sir Alex Ferguson. His age is still relatively young, the manager certainly has more to build methods and approaches to understand his players better, so that the chances of achieving success will also be higher. With Sporting CP, Ruben Amorim has proven his genius, but managing the Red Devils in the Premier League is very different. His courage to take a job during the season and decide to part with Sporting CP which has made his name is quite brave, in my opinion the Portuguese manager did not come to Old Trafford to be a loser.

I think even Arda Guler himself had to think more before joining a team like Real Madrid because there in Real Madrid he can't have a good chance to show his performance because of his age. In Real Madrid they had players like Modric and Kroos playing in this team and now Arda Guler can't fill the place of these legends.
The best he can do right now is to just play for another loan for loan and stay there for a season then return to Real Madrid with more experience and this can make Ancelotti give him even more chances otherwise I think Arda Guler's future in Real Madrid won't be good and shiny.

There is a very high probability that next season Xabi Alonso will take over as coach and that would certainly be a great opportunity for Arda Güler to get more playing time, because as we know Xabi likes to give young stars a chance. I think Güler's style of play doesn't quite fit in with the current tactics but that could change with Xabi Alonso as coach!

https://www.goal.com/en/lists/real-madrid-rodri-solution-midfield-champions-league-winners-sell-aurelien-tchouameni-move-man-city-ballon-d-or/blt19bd12eff237e11b

Real Madrid is reportedly open to offers for Tchouameni. They're ready to break the bank for a top player. Some sources added that they want to sell Tchouameni to make room for Rodri. Rodri has been linked to Real Madrid since last season. But, it may take extra effort to bring him to the Bernabeu.

By the way, i rated Tchouameni as an average player, and i see nothing special from him until this ttime. It’s been three years since he joined us, and enough to judge how good or bad he was. He naver impressed me with his performance. He's too slow, pragmatic with the ball, and has not shown any improvements so far. His old play style didn't benefit us now, and It's right decision for the club to let him go, then bring someone who can shine at a higher level than him.
It’s normal for a club to part ways with a player, but Tchouaméni is a top talent who has surpassed the level of an average footballer. The criticism that he’s “slow” or too “pragmatic” is simply not true. Tchouaméni is not slow, he’s a calculated and intelligent midfielder. While the idea of bringing in Rodri is good, I don’t think selling Tchouaméni to make room for him is wise. Considering Rodri is 28 and Tchouaméni is 24, Rodri would likely offer fewer years of top-level play. Tchouaméni is a young talent with more potential longevity and room for growth.
You cannot use Tchouaméni to compare Rodri in terms of performance, because Tchouaméni is still a baby to Rodri who won Ballon D'or with his outstanding performance in all competitions. Even if Tchouaméni plays till 28 years, he will not be as good as Rodri on that spot. Kroos is old but his departure is still a problem to Madrid. What I am saying is that, there's no need comparing a young player with someone that is better than him and is older than the young player.

I really wanted Erik ten Hag to be the one to win the Premier league competition with Manchester United. I'm not just disappointed but pained shit failed. One thing I know that he gave his all for the club and was a big fan of the club who understands the fans. One thing is sure, I'll go back to backing the new manager, they said he's a tactically great coach but we'll see soon. Handling the Manchester United job comes with a lot of responsibility, I hope he handles the pressure that comes with it and leads Manchester United back to glory ways.

He won't have been able to do that when Pep gaurdiola is still a manager in the premier league. Since he joined and made Manchester city very strong, not many coaches has been able to win the premier league from him Erik ten Hag tried very well for Manchester United as he won them trophies and some managers in the league haven't won their teams any trophies but they have stayed longer than him. Erik ten hag was doing well at Manchester United but all of a sudden, things began to chance but he didn't notice that to change his character too. He taught he still had things under control and was feeling the players are by his side but they began to play against him.

Dear OP @tokeweed. Since Man United has fired Ten Hag, I think the poll should be changed or removed. Ten Hag isn't Man United coach anymore, it is proven already that Ten Hag failed to lead Man United team to the glory days. Now, it is time for Ruben Amorim, he is the new coach of Man United. Not sure if he is capable to improve Man United, but he looks quite good coach/manager in Primeira Liga.

In most cases when a coach leaves a team for another team, he takes some good players when the transfer window is open, that's why with Ruben Amorim's departure from Sporting to Manchester United, rumors began to spread that he could take Gyokeres to Manchester United but reading this news:

Ruben Amorim on Gyokeres and Man United links for January: "I'm not going to come for any Sporting player in January".

"These years at Sporting have been the best years of my life and I won't forget that".

source: https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1852643813971628375

Maybe now he can say that because the struggle has not yet begun but, when his steps falter, or pressures start to emerge that expect the team to be even better, he might forget what he said before, and next thing you know there will be new players joining Man United

Quote
I see that the former Sporting coach is taking a good stance in not taking Gyokeres to Manchester United because that would destroy Sporting and he also hasn't had time to start working on the Manchester United team to identify the mistakes and solutions. I don't know why Ruben Amorim accepted to be Manchester United coach even though he sees that it is a very complicated team and the Premier League is also very difficult. Time will tell how long Ruben Amorim will survive at Manchester United.

Arda Güler scored last season when he came on late in the game. Carlo Ancelotti had to give him the jersey due to fan pressure. But this season Arda Güler failed to produce a goal or an assist in 7 games. Last season Carlo Ancelotti was criticized for his decision about Arda Güler. But this season nobody criticizes Carlo Ancelotti for that. I'm also in favor of him going on loan to another team. The German Bundesliga could be very suitable for him. According to media reports, Borussia Dortmund coach Nuri Sahin wants him in his team.
Arda Güler would have to be patient on the Real Madrid bench or push for a loan deal outside the club. It is clear that he would not get steady playing time until some key strikers leave the club. There are speculations that Jose Mourinho wants to attract the Turkish striker to Fenerbahçe. With the news of Vinicius Junior considering leaving the La Liga Champions, Carlo Ancelotti might decide to keep the young striker in the club. Borussia Dortmund would also be a good team for young players because the club have a tradition of grooming young talents.
Arda Guler has great potential and can develop rapidly if he does get a lot of opportunities to play, currently he is still fighting for a place in the first squad and even before Ancelotti had promised to give him more opportunities to play after the transfer market then he was rumored to be moving, it is Ancelotti's promise that finally made him stay in Madrid at the moment,  I think if he wants to develop and can become a great player of course he has to leave Madrid immediately and play at a club that can give him the opportunity to play regularly, so far there are several clubs that are interested in borrowing Arda Guler and he should be able to consider the club in order to hone his talent, mentality and also ability later.
I think the rumours of Vinicius desire to leave don't have a strong reason at all because at the moment there is no team better for him other than Madrid.

In this way, both will be much more profitable where the player himself can continue to hone his best abilities and at the right time he can return to Real Madrid as a much-needed player. Staying without getting more playing time will be detrimental to Arda because he doesn't get the opportunity to continue to train himself to develop further. The loan situation may be beneficial for both parties but it really depends on how Ancelotti sees the problem of team needs.

Anyone would prefer to stay at Real Madrid but it could be beneficial if he gets a regular place in the team or otherwise stay and continue to show changes so the coach can see his abilities before giving him more opportunities.
Imao Arda Guler is quite in a dilemma in his current position, but like it or not leaving for another club is a step in his journey to continue to improve his abilities. As long as the option that Madrid agrees is a player loan, Arda needs confirmation about his clarity with Madrid, unless he is ready to wait and be patient on the bench. No matter how great he is when he is rarely on the field, we rarely see the maximum ability of the player. I don't want Arda to waste his time in vain, his journey is still long.

But until now we can see that despite many offers, Arda still wants to be with Madrid and try more because he must be aware of his condition when he is in Madrid, the competition is clearly very large.

It is undeniable that there are some situations that can be considered that Arda is not well maximised at Madrid but it cannot be denied that the competition here is very tough because it is not only Arda alone young players in midfield who have good potential but several other players such as Camavinga, Tchouameni, Valverde and even Jude also have the same potential so it must be difficult to compete in these conditions.
I don't want to blame Ancelotti or Madrid if they seem ignorant of the potential like Arda but in the end being at a big club like this obviously has to be aware that when you want to be in the line up then of course you have to be able to stand out from other players and in this case I think Arda's opportunity is also quite good even though he is always a substitute but he is doing his best because he is comfortable in Madrid.

Hopefully, the board also support them on the transfer window. Expecting a massive change within 3 seasons is quite a difficult task if they don't have the resources to do that.
Benjamin Sesko was one of the strikers that has been linked to Manchester United for some months now, but with Amorim taking the new job, it is possible to see Manchester United shift their interest to Gyokores who already has a relationship with this coach from Sporting and has been very ruthless this season with scoring. The new coaches target will be to help United finish at a position in this season from their current 14th position to a spot where they could still make qualification for a European competition. There is still enough time for Manchester United to fight for it.
Most of the big teams in the English league has given confidence to their new coach for 3 seasons, so I think it is nothing but a test for the coach from the management to see the ability of the new coach in coaching, so far the support of the Manchester management for the new coach cannot be doubted, So course Amorim will have support money and time to get Manchester United back into form, poor form and consistency are their main problems at the moment and if Amorim is able to adapt quickly then of course their chances of ending the season in a better position could happen.

Every coach has his own player of choice, so I think Amorim will bring Gyokeres into the Manchester United squad later on, Gyokeres performance at Sporting has been quite good so far and shows great sharpness as a striker, so I think his arrival later on can be a very good addition for their squad, also the factor of his relationship with Amorim can also be an important factor in his move and also his adaptation in Manchester later on.

I have seen this player in action a couple of times and he was actually a wonder whenever he is with the ball. I think a loan move would the best option for the player who needs to maximise his career by getting more playing time else where if his current club cannot guarantee him that, I think a move away from Madrid would be very beneficial to him so he can develope further as a player rather than sit on the bench or being used as a substitute when he can be productive else where. There are so many clubs that would be interested in his services, especially  some of the big clubs in Europe and I hope Real Madrid allows that even if it means adding clauses that would prohibit other clubs from keeping him permanently.

Ruud van Nistelrooy has only handled the EFL match, it's a small match compared to the Premier League, but somehow the 5-2 victory is a new milestone for him after Erik Ten Hag was sacked.

We need to see how Ruben Amorin handles Man United, in 1 or 2 matches it is not enough to be judged now he must finish until the end of the season and can draw conclusions as far as Man United will be.

Ruben Amorin is more experienced than Ruud van Nistelrooy, so his management prefers the Sporting CP coach to Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Ruud Van Nistelrooy has until the middle of this month to handle the club. he can show his best to help him stay in the club in the different position. His result against Leicester City raised a question. Is his club getting a "manager bounce" after sacking Ten Hag? That's why people were so pumped. However, his result against Leicester City did not convince me if he's the right man for the job. Once he finishes his interim role, he will return as assistant manager.
There are 3 upcoming matches led by Ruud van Nistelrooy before he is replaced by the new Manchester United manager, the matches include against Chelsea in the Premier League this weekend, against PAOK in the 4th Europa League match and against Leicester City in the Premier League. If Ruud van Nistelrooy can win all of these matches he deserves praise and appreciation because previously Ten Hag had never achieved a win in the Europa League but if in these 3 matches Man United performs mediocrely then Man United appointing a new coach is the right decision so we will see first how Ruud van Nistelrooy handles this club in the next 3 matches.

He did get an offer as Jurgen Klopp replacement at Liverpool. Even so Amorim must be aware that managing Man United is a tough challenge, we will not put too much expectation until the end of the season to see real results. Amorim was only appointed as head coach which means he will focus on player development and does not have the authority to buy players. Maybe Ineos has learned from its decision to give Ten Hag the position of club manager by arbitrarily buying useless players.

The chances of Amorim succeeding at Manchester United isn’t just on a one man influence. Even though his influence matters. But hard work is required from the players. Also it’s the duty of every coaches on their own field  of expertise to ensure they back the manager up by showing him support and make sure the players are up to every task given.
Already this isn’t new to Amorim knowing that managing a job as that of Manchester United is a tough one. I also believe he is ready for the new challenge.

Amorim will stay at Manchester United until 2027.
Maybe this is a coincidence but I wonder if 3-year deal is the norm for a new manager from another league. IIRC Slot also has the same deal, staying until 2027 with Liverpool. Maresca, on the other hand, has a 5-year deal with Chelsea if I'm not wrong, but he coached Leicester before. Maybe they don't want to overspend on this because it's easy to fire a coach when you fail to perform at big clubs. CMIIW.

Hopefully, the board also support them on the transfer window. Expecting a massive change within 3 seasons is quite a difficult task if they don't have the resources to do that.

Ruben Amorim will try to make the Manchester United team better in the rest of this season with the abilities he has even though the team management does not expect too much from Amorim because he has just arrived to coach a team that has been slumped by the previous coach. And I think it doesn't matter if he is not given the authority to buy new players as long as he is able to change the existing players to be better than before in the current season.

it all depends on the head coach's strategy if Amorin can do his job well then he can build this club better in the future the management hopes that his club can rise again like before.

Manchester returning back to their glory days? That all depends on work of this their new manager Amorin, though his record at sporting Lisbon has really been good but this is the English premier league, nothing is given, in other to achieve anything he has to work, and I believe that if he can be able to utilize the players at his disposal at the club right now, their season might get back on track.

I know that for the past few seasons under the leadership of Eric ten hang, Manchester united have been playing without an identity, so I believe that Amorin will have to correct that flaws, because a team as big as Manchester united shouldn't be playing as if they are playing street football where their is no playing system or identity, but the most important thing is that as he plan on building his own Manchester united team, he has to be getting the winning, because no matter how pleasant your playing system is, if you aren't winning, it wouldn't make sense to the supporters or even the hierarchy, so he needs to be getting the desired result in as much as he is trying to build, if not, he might not even last more than a year, that's the ugly reality of today's football, because it's now a business that must be in good shape regardless of if it's in a building stage or not.
