True, Sterling will be the first option for Tuchel since Werner was very underperform last season, I really thought Werner will kill it last season since he plays very well on the previous season but maybe because the pandemic break something happened to him. And for the defense, and let's just wish Koulibaly can adapt quickly, the leaving of Rudiger will hugely will make a big hole in Chelsea's defense

The new owner of the team, Todd Boehly, has made his first signing for the team and it is Raheem Sterling. They didn't have a natural left winger in the team so this is a great transfer for them. Sterling is a very skilled player and his contribution to Manchester City so far has been really significant. I don't expect him to have any adaptation problem to his new team. Chelsea like to play fast and Sterling would like this a lot. He can do a great job by goals and assists both.

Actually I'm not so sure that Chelsea will be able to compete with Manchester City and Liverpool next season. The previous season they could actually compete, but towards the end of the league they couldn't be consistent and in the end they had to be knocked out of the competition.
Next season I see that Chelsea will be slightly below Manchester City and Liverpool.

Chelsea's efforts in strengthening the team amazed me even though they haven't gotten some of the players they want. It's only Raheem Sterling that they've gotten and Chelsea keep moving to get a tough defender. Of course, their efforts are a real form that Chelsea are very serious about the title fight.

Someone not being sure of a team in competing for the title for me is not a problem, but I am sure that if a team that someone like Chelsea does not believe in that will not be able to compete with Manchester City and Liverpool in the title race, I think that is wrong.

Leicester City have already proved it.

I was just going to talk about this rumour. It is an enormous deal and this kind of teams don't see it a big deal to pay fantastic amount of money for a star footballer. However I don't expect Ronaldo to take this deal and go. Because his wish is to be able to compete in the Champions League. This Saudi team can't give this to him. Ronaldo has no problem with money also and he is still very ambitious about winning big titles. Therefore I expect him to reject this offer.

Kalidou Koulibaly is indeed a competent center-back, so he could potentially give his best for Chelsea (if the deal happens). However, there are things that need to be underlined, Serie A and Premier League have quite different game characteristics, which means Kalidou Koulibaly has to adapt first to find his best performance and it could take a lot of time, or maybe it won't work at all Grin

Yes, it is official already. I read on Fabrizio Romano's tweet, he said Koulibaly moves to Chelsea. It is a great deal for Chelsea, they finally can get a replacement for Rudiger. In last few days too much news about Chelsea in transfer window is having some good impact because now they are working on defense and now having player like Koulibaly is surely going to fit in this place after Rudiger is already gone with few bad news like Raphinha is heading for Barcelona, and now they are also in for Robert Lewandowski which may be also not going into their favor.

But, Koulibaly and working on Nathan Ake is surely good for them and their future system which is going to be tough for their challengers because Raheem Sterling is also another exciting signing for them and with player like this they are surely having strong squad in Premier League.

Raheem Sterling has his impact on game play, a great one at that. I still couldn't understand what happened when he saw most matches on the bench over the recent past. Maybe it’s squad rotation. If only Tuchel could get Sterling's spark back on, then he'll surely make a very fine signing for Chelsea.

What's the point of De Jong being in Barcelona if the team is after salary reduction and looking actively to sell him? I get that he wants to stay, but if they do not want him to stay, forcing them to keep him wouldn't really make his life better.

Look at what happened to Bale, he was a great player who just didn't wanted by his team and because he had a huge salary, he didn't get any playing time in order to be convinced of leaving, and he didn't because he wanted that money and couldn't get it anywhere else. In return, he wasn't played, and basically kept off the roster and now he is not a player he used to be and not wanted as much by other clubs neither.

Shall we do wait to see how it goes down, it's a very good move especially for someone who had lesser games to play. How many goal can he give Chelsea? All time at Manchester City, he never scored Manchester United for once, maybe he will finally get a goal against Manchester United ? Lol. I'm happy for him but that's what we're rival's for I wish him the best but hopefully he doesn't get a goal against Manchester United.

Asides all said earlier, He (Sterling ) is a bit of a selfish player hope he doesn't takes that to Chelsea FC. With Sterling on the Left Flank, Harvertz would be on the right. Getting all the defender's and not get a clinical finisher is almost detrimental ahead of the new season.
Can we see Timo Werner get more of those appearance ?
