Indeed, Modric is one of Madrid's finest midfielders ever, I have to agree with you. He is a legend of the club, having excelled at an extremely high level throughout his career. Bellingham, on the other hand, is still a young player with plenty of space for development. He has already demonstrated his immense potential, and it would not surprise me if he went on to become a world-class midfielder.

I think it would be fantastic if Madrid signed either Haaland or Mbappe. They are both gifted players who have been dominating their respective leagues. Incorporating them into Madrid's offense alongside Vinicius Jr. is an exciting potential.

Their defence is not a strong one in my opinion. They need someone strong who can play along with Thiago Silva sharing defensive duties. They still can get on track but it will take time. I can see them getting creative again which is good. He does play in the center-back position. So generally he does not have to do a lot of running. So generally he can stay back and help in the defense. That is a big reason why his age is still not affecting him so much. And he is someone who understands that he is not as agile as he was before. So he has to stay back for bringing the best outcome to his team.

I appreciate that his contract was extended. And it is very good to see that his contract was extended for 1 year. Now he can move anywhere else if he does want in the future. But I have to say I don't think his contract is going to be extended again.

I wouldn't compare Bellingham with Modric. because after all, the two have different track records. Modric is a great player, his work ethic with El Real and the Croatian national team, there is no doubt about it.
