Real Madrid want to keep Asensio, but with no guarantee that they can offer him the playing time that he wants, he could be set to move from the club. I know that Arteta want to add quality to his squad but like Asensio isn’t a type of player you can convince to come sit on the bench in a team like Arsenal. He wants to play in every game and there is Bukayo Saka, the main man who has been giving Arsenal that quality and top performance this season. In as much as Arsenal want to bolster their young attack with some experience and quality, there are some players who Arteta can’t bring to the team.

Real Madrid have many options in the midfield role at the moment and with the large number of midfielders it will be difficult to field every player or give every player the much wanted playing time, at Arsenal he might have not as much game time as he will want because Bukayo Saka is dominating that right wing position and has been consistent for more than two seasons now so the only way he will fit in for Arsenal is to play as a backup player to Saka except maybe Saka gets injured or drops in form.

The only Asensio's missing is his capability to play in any role, while other players can do that. That's what Ancelotti needs at this time, except if the player really has a great quality that makes his position is irreplaceable like Vinicius. Asensio had a powerful and accurate shoot, but Vinicius can dribble much better and make a good finishing. Even Rodrygo has same quality with Vinicius and Valverde somehow turns to be a great winger as his old position was midfielder. It's not ideal for Asensio to play in Madrid if he doesn't upgrade his skill.

Actually I still feel apart from being rushed if indeed this rumor is true it looks like one of the steps that Todd and Chelsea have made for their attack line.
I mean, when you look at their current condition with the number of attackers brought in, are they still not satisfied with that? Moreover, this is also still in the process of adapting players so why bring back players at very unreasonable prices when the end result remains the same.
Yeah they are not feeling satisfied with it.

According to the Sunday, February 5 edition of Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, both United and Chelsea are 'ready' to invest €120million (£106million) to sign Osimhen.

https://www.football.london/chelsea-fc/transfer-news/victor-osimhen-transfer-latest-man-26180378

Chelsea and United will be fighting in osimhen transfer saga for upcoming transfer season. Jost mounrinho has been suggesting chelsea to take him as a new striker. Osimhen itself is pretty much the same like drogba. he can be called as new generation of drogba.

All what he owned pretty similar with drogba except strong kick that has become special ability by drogba. It's todd boehly who interested to sign him for upcoming season.
Under these conditions it still makes sense when talking about the upcoming season because it is clear there needs to be improvement but on the other hand it means that under these conditions there will be some players who will be eliminated regardless of how their current contract is.
There are plenty of attackers here and that was the case with Barcelona at the start of last season so it's clear this will need some players to be let go even if it sounds like a waste of money.

Newcastle and Manchester City are both rumoured to sign James Maddison. I don't think there is any need for a player like Maddison for Manchester City. They already have a very solid squad now. They aren't in need of an attacking midfielder. Maybe they might be thinking of increasing the number of alternatives but I don't know if Maddison would be eager to wait in the substitutes.

On the other hand Newcastle would make use of a midfielder like him a lot. They are already trying to build a strong team for next season. Maddison would be a solid addition.
I can't really predict which team Maddison will likely choose but I would prefer Maddison making a move to Newcastle United because Manchester City have a number of good and experienced midfielders already and still planning to sign more and if Maddison joins, the battle for first team chance will be tough but at Newcastle they are grooming a young and energized team and he will fit in well at Newcastle and playing along side the list of young players in the team he will do better and will get into the first eleven quicker.
Some time ago I read another report that said Manhester City is currently withdrawing from the hunt for James Maddison. with these conditions it's clear Newcastle have real hope now because indeed they can make it more intense.
On the other hand, I do agree when I say it's better to go to Newcastle because indeed, with Manchester City's conditions, the competition there is still too tight, unlike Newcastle, which is still a little competitive, even though there are some there, but it's not as tough as in Manchester City.

Asensio will be a big addition to the Arsenal squad. I understand the situation of Arsenal and because they want to win the Premier league, they are so open to signing anyone. In as much as I can attest that Asensio transfer is nice and would benefit Arsenal more than it will benefit Asensio. I never thought that Jorginho transfer will be a nice one for Arsenal on the long run. Arsenal squad is generally known for being young.
January transfer window is over already, now no chance to sign Asensio as a good addition to win EPL title this season. They are lucky that they can sign Jorginho because they are lack of defensive midfielders, (Elneny got injured and doesn't know when he can recover). Jorginho will ensure that Arsenal has enough players in that position until the end of this season. It is a wise decision made by Arsenal to sign Jorginho. Regarding Asensio, they can think about him later, they are not very urgent about new attackers.

I heard Juventus are starting to get angry about Pogba's state . They felt a loss because he didn't get better soon. Even if I'm not mistaken he has been injured four times at Juventus. Before the world cup he had hoped to feature in that event but failed. He also delayed his surgery so that it would take longer to heal. So there is an option to terminate his contract or sell it. Juventus bought him for 31 million pounds and he just became a useless player.

Arsenal does not require a player like Asensio at this time, and he would prefer not to be there because the competition for a position will be fierce. But, because he's a versatile player, he might be able to play from Mertinelli's wing, but that can't be guaranteed either, as Martinelli is doing well and developing under Arteta's tutelage. Making Asensio a substitute or second choice for Saka will be detrimental to his career, as he requires more playing time than ever before.
Asensio will be a long term plan by arsenal. The transfer season already closed and asensio will come next season if arsenal will be decided to buy him. Saka needs backup to prevent once he may get injury anytime. That's better to make a prevention rather than waiting for saka to be injured. I hope that saka will never get injury caused by saka is really important for arsenal. Asensio looks good to be a backup for saka.
Arsenal needs to build long term plan. it's not only until the end of season. that's why arsenal has been targeting saka as next player to be bought by the club. Stan kroenke was fully supporting arteta.
I agree, but Asensio is not a player that you can just simply bench all the time, you need to play him a bit as well, even if you sub him in later in the game, he has to play, if you keep him out of the game for too long, he will create some sort of drama. Look at him now, played in nearly 1000 minutes this year, and not in every game, but he did played in some games and that is the important thing.

I believe that he will ask the same thing, not to play in every game, but get good minutes to show himself. However, I may agree that if they do not get him, that would still be fine and I think it would be not a big deal for anyone if they just not buy him.

Asensio is a good player but Real Madrid is a special club and as we have seen just being good (and sometimes even super good) is not enough to be a first team player here. If the club and the player have such a big disagreement about the salary (almost 20%), then they may part ways. I don't think Asensio is in a strong negotiating position, as in the summer transfer window Real Madrid will most likely be looking for one super forward (Mbappe) to pair with Benzema (or immediately replace him) and a second one for the future (when Benzema completely leaves).
The team is build up with fantastic players who have the top experience needed to lift trophies for the club. They're among the best team in the world and almost a dream club for every player. The board is a good one with planning on signing new potential players to the club. Marcos Asensio is a top talent player in real madrid and every European team would want the Spaniard player in their team. The Los blancos want him to stay in the club to further his football career but they're not planning to meet up the bids placed on the table.

Currently Manchester United have two big targets for their centre-forward position. These players are Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen. There have been speculations like Manchester United are preparing an offer of 100 million pounds to sign Kane. This might seem as a really insane amount to some people but it isn't at least. Because teams are spending on such money for even some above average players these days. Maybe some other people can criticize the amount to be given for a 29-year-old player.

But Kane is definitely worth this amount. He is still an amazing striker and we have been witnessing how capable striker he is since the beginning of the season. If this transfer doesn't happen they will go for Osimhen but I think it is more difficult to sign him compared to Kane.

Manchester United deserves such a great striker as Harry Kane in the team as that is what's currently missing even the current game they are playing. He will so form a good relationship with Rashford on the pitch if he moves to Manchester United.
Victor Oshimes team has declined any news about the sell of Victor Oshime to any of the top clubs with Paris Saint league, Chelsea and Man United all fighting for the signature of the Napoli star

The Turkish Football Federation made an official application to FIFA due to the earthquake disaster and demanded the extension of the transfer and registration period.
Normally, the transfer period was ending today, but for the last 3 days, everyone has been dealing with post-earthquake aid. All matches have been postponed. If FIFA answers yes, it's possible that the transfer period will be extended.

Malatyaspor goalkeeper lost his life. The cities of some clubs suffered great destruction. We look forward to seeing what steps they will take after some time has passed. At the moment these are not important, but after a while life will go on.
My heart goes to all the affected victims of the earthquake, so many lives and properties lost. I also think it will be a good gesture for Fifa to consider their request and extend the closing date of their transfer window. The country is facing an unfortunate setback which definitely will have an effect in the footballing world.

I think Asensio is important to them right now because they missed Benzema a few times, and that caused Asensio to get some attention, plus finding players that weren't that great and turning them better is what Real does, and they had Asensio for nearly a decade now, so they know what he is capable of. If given enough money, they would definitely sell him, well given enough money any team would sell any player, but I am not sure if Real would be ready to part ways right now, during summer could make sense, but its too late now to sell a player and get another one, it would be very difficult.
This player has long been rumored to be sold by Real Madrid, and it did not happen until now. If Real Madrid really didn't need him then we wouldn't see him at Real Madrid now. At a certain moment I think he will be the answer to what Real Madrid needs, as long as he is entrusted with showing all the abilities he has and giving what Real Madrid expects.

Maybe the reason Asensio chose to stay at Real Madrid was because he wanted to continue to be able to win the league and other European competitions. But I've just heard the latest news that Real Madrid have offered a contract extension until 2027 for a whopping €4.8 million net salary, but Asensio and his agent Jorge Mendes want €6 million. It seems that this will be a difficult decision between the club and the player, but what is certain is that even if Asensio does not agree to this offer, many clubs in Europe will want to bring him in the summer transfer market.

sea will stick with Graham Potter, at least until this season ends. Even though Chelsea's performance has not shown any improvement but the Chelsea Board doesn't seem too bothered by it. So rumors about Mourinho wanting to return to Chelsea is just a speculation from the media, where Mourinho felt he was not fully supported in the transfer window and it was associated with his desire to return to England.

Yes^^, I also don't think they are gonna sack him this soon. Everyone is aware of the situation of Chelsea and they do need signings right now. No one can work with a squad that is behind in certain areas as one of the big teams of PL. It is very hard with the pressure also so unless they get the signings that Potter needs and he still is unable to manage Chelsea well then I think he will be sacked and Chelsea will be on the search for a new manager.

Well, what about Graham is a fact, he will stay the season, but what I think about Mou will not leave Roma, he is very loved there, needless to say that he himself did not want to go and take over his national team in Portugal Due to the enormous commitment he has with Roma, this is something that must be put in context because when making any speculation, the decision of the great Mou must be taken into account, which is a very respectable decision and worthy of one of his world class For this, we all know what Mopu is like when he makes a commitment, he is quite good at fulfilling it, he will never leave things up in the air, he is a very responsible person

Arteta seems still not satisfied after successfully overhauling Arsenal squad to become one of the clubs that has the potential to win the Premier League this season. Reported by The Mirror, Arsenal plans to recruit a new winger. According to the report, Arsenal want to secure the services of Marco Asensio from Real Madrid.

Arsenal desire for Asensio is not without reason, Arsenal do not need to spend money to recruit Asensio because Asensio contract at the Bernabeu will expire in the summer, so far there has been no sign that Asensio will extend his contract at Madrid. Arsenal really want to be a new challenger in the Premier League, Arsenal evolution process will continue as Arteta capital to polish the team to be solid.
Asensio will be off contract in June, and he is a target for many clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle United. There have been reports that his Agents will jet in to London next week to discuss the possibility of a move to the Premier League. For Arsenal, I don’t think he’s going to be a thing for Arteta and Edu to ponder on. I not sure there have been any internal discussion about bringing him to the Emirates. They have Bukayo Saka already playing in that position, and I think Arteta has a better name on his list for the summer.

You didn't know about Asensio, but are you sure that Real Madrid will let him go? because a striker like him, who has scored goals lately, is hard to let go, it should be noted that they have Benzema and he is one of the most prized by Ancelotti and the managers themselves, the bad thing is his age does not help him not at all, so I don't know if Real Madrid will have plans to start replacing players with new ones or simply send players to play in other positions, which is also one of the things they can do because they have enough material to do it, I don't I would doubt it, because having Vini, Benzema and Camavinga is not just anything, and even more so with Modric creating in the center of the field, they are still the most galactic for me, it would be crazy if a Haaland could be inside, someone like that.

Watch: Marco Asensio Stuns Fans With Outrageous Goal For Real Madrid

Quote

Marco Asensio has been at the center of speculations for the past six months with various reports suggesting a possible transfer out of the La Liga. However, the 27-year-old proved to be instrumental for Real Madrid during their La Liga encounter against Valencia on Thursday as he opened the scoring with a sensational effort from outside the box. Minutes into the second half, Asensio received the ball from Karim Benzema on the edge of the penalty box and he was able to drill the shot past the Valencia goalkeeper. Real Madrid went on to win the encounter 2-0.

I would like Coutinho at Arsenal or Manchester United. I think he still has the potential to be a world class player but he is getting older now. I have watched him in the German league for Bayern and he was a very good player when he played for them. Injury problems I think is the biggest problem with him and he is not getting younger. The next move for him will be his last chance to prove himself before retirement and I think the Premier League or the Bundesliga suits him best. I do not watch much of the Spanish league but I heard he has not got the best of performances in spain. it is probably because of the different style of play. The Bundesliga and the Premier League are very similar in pace and ferocity. I do not think he suits Dortmund but I would be willing to give him a shot if we did make the move for him.
What potential? Even getting into the core line-up from West Ham, he is having a hard time right now. Is it possible that with his current condition the big EPL clubs will eye him as a player with potential?
Coutinho is a pretty good player but that was a few years ago now he's past that and in the last few seasons he's had nothing to be proud of at the moment so it's going to be very difficult for him now. Unless indeed he has a significant increase in performance which even in my opinion this is something that is difficult to happen because regardless of anything until now he has always experienced a decrease in performance.

I agree with you that maybe Maddison will be needed more while at Newcastle. Competition at Manchester City is very tight to be able to occupy the main players in every match. I think it will be up to the player to decide, because there's nothing wrong with choosing Newcastle over Manchester City. Maybe Manchester City's name is now better than Newcastle, but they are now a team that will compete at the top with performances that I think are surprising this season.

James Madison should think about moving to Manchester City rather than Newcastle United, he is still a young talented player that needs to work with a good coach and pep is the one that fits him very well.
Newcastle are doing thie right plays this season, winning games and defending very well, they have to qualify for the champions league.
They signed some good players younger that will go along with the long plans for the club ans that is great.

But with that, is it really not too much? then why do they bring in wingers like Mudryk, Sterling or maybe even Joao this season? The presence of Leao will obviously make the wings more crowded in terms of competition which even though it's good but I think this will be an obstacle in the adaptation of new players.
Osimhen is also actually very good but does he really want to? Osimhen's chances of reaching the Top Score and selling in the domestic league in Italy are now open, unless he is willing to leave that and get nothing at Chelsea.
It's ridiculous move if Chelsea want to sign Leao, the problem of Chelsea is their strikers, they need to find a pure striker who score many goals like Lewandowski, Haaland, Kane etc. Osimhen is the top scorer in Serie A right now, so it's a good move if Chelsea can sign him. Chelsea midfielders aren't weak, there are a lot chances created by Fernandez, Mount and Kante. But the finisher aka striker can't maximize the chances created by the midfielders, it's why Chelsea is rarely win or score many goals.

For Osimhen side it's gambling, because he can be a superstar for carrying Chelsea or he can just choose a safer place but he will have a lot pressure since he need to replace the old great striker of the strong team.
Leao is a winger, not a midfielder, so maybe they are still thinking about this because of the dissatisfaction of Chelsea officials, even when they have brought in lots of players of the same type there.
As for Osimhen, when he was at Chelsea, it wasn't just going to be good right away and becoming a star because things could not be wanted again. Remember Lukaku before when he came from Serie A. The conditions are the same as Pogba was at Manchester United and it is possible that something like this will also happen to Osimhen, isnt it?
