With this signing Chelsea just got better in the midfield. I expect to see nothing less than excellent football from Chelsea in the next 18 months.
He is a young and talented player with massive potentials who I hope to see take control of the midfield and create chances for the forwards. Welcome Enzo.
Chelsea have made some interesting signings and in midfield, Enzo seem to be the most interesting to me. He's a very talented player that knows how to control the midfield. To me at this point what Chelsea need is a coach that can manage all these players. I doubt that Potter is the man for the job. He is a good coach but there are coaches and players that struggle in big clubs. The fact that he did a good a good job at Brighton, doesn't mean he will do the same in Chelsea. They struggle too much under him, reminds me of Lampand as a coach in Chelsea, he was good in his first season without players and when the club spent big in the transfer market he fumbled.
In this January transfer window, Chelsea brought in a lot of players. but from my point of view, Chelsea did not bring in the players they needed but instead brought in the players Todd Boehhly wanted. just think about it, Chelsea have eleven Forwards regardless of the position they each occupy. although, several players suffered injuries, as well as midfielders.
I know that Chelsea wants to boost its performance by bringing in many players in this January transfer window. however, in truth, they do not have a definite pattern regarding newcomers. different from Arsenal, they are quite smart and only buy according to the needs of their current team. let's compare with Real madrid and PSG, they can afford to buy a lot of players in this January transfer window. but in fact, they chose to bring in newcomers in the transfer window next season.
To be honest, I doubt that behind the signing of newcomers is Potter's desire, most likely everything is the desire of the boss Todd Boehly.
