I had also read similar rumors about Jorge Jesus for a while. However, Brazilians have some strict unwritten rules about national team coaching. They want the coach to be a Brazilian. If I'm not mistaken, there are one or two non-Brazil coaches who coach the Brazilian national team. They have really strict rules about it.
Ramón Platero 1925
Joreca 1944
Filpo Núñez 1965

I think Jorge Jesus is not an option anymore, brazilians from CBF put 4 coaches on top tier list (Zidane, Ancelotti, Luis Enrique and Mourinho), but not Jorge Jesus.
Flamengo fans love Jorge Jesus, but he's not the fist choice to other people.
People from Brazil think it's not necessary to bring a foreigner coach, there's some barrier.
I know you post about 3 foreigner coaches, but first one only did 4 matches, the second did 2 matches and third one only did a friendly match, so people from Brazil said the team was never managed by a foreigner
Personally I think it's good to have a foreigner coach, specially one like these four, because it's hard to deal with brazilian players, Neymar in special, maybe they will respect a coach like Ancelotti.
From brazil, I don't know who's the favorite one right now but people are talking about: Dorival Jr, Cuca, Mano Menezes and Fernando Diniz, but again, there's no favorite and any choice will be contested by the brazilian fans.
There's some curiosity, this year brazil have a record of foreigner coaches in clubs.
