it's obvious Ronaldo couldn't find a team in Europe that can pay he's high wages at this age. So that deal wasn't bad to me. He broke world record with this deal and he's appearance will promote the the league too. It's a good business for him and the club.If he had agreed to take a lower salary, I believe it would have been a better deal for him. If that is the case, I think he will be able to find a team easily. The Saudi royal family owns Newcastle United F.C. through their Public Investment Fund and could make a deal between their two own football clubs. The plan would be now to be lending Ronaldo from Al-Nassr to Newcastle without charge to get around the regulation for UEFA clubs in UK. The Saudi family can easily afford to pay such kind of salaries and for them it doesn't matter out of which football team the money comes.
