Cody Gakpo is a fantastic player and his performance so far for the Netherlands in the World Cup has been nothing short of brilliant. I do not think that his price will skyrocket even if they end winning the tournament. This is because, his contract expires soon and there is already a
clause in his contract that he is supposed to move for forty to forty-five million Euros. If not for this clause, we all know that Cody Gakpo is worth hundred million euros.
this is actually what I regret from MU,, why did they choose anthony and valued him almost 100 million euros instead of choosing Gakpo. Gakpo still really hopes for a new offer that is made by MU, besides that as long as MU wants Gakpo, I'm sure PSV won't want to lose a good opportunity from that offer, maybe they will force MU to buy Gakpo for more than 45 million euros.
World Cup Qatar 2022 has been a great stage for Cody Gakpo. His performance with the Dutch national team looked very good. He is still very young and he has the potential to get even better, so it's very reasonable if many big teams are interested in signing him. Besides Gakpo, I think Goncalo Ramos from Benfica will also be wanted by big teams because he had a very impressive performance when he played against Switzerland.
ramos made history, he became one of the hat-trick printers from Portugal besides cristiano ronaldo and that certainly made his name soar but he is still young, reportedly benfica is targeting ramos' value to touch 45 million euros. I think the England league clubs are talkative enough with players who have performed extraordinarily in the world cup.
He isn't that young, he's 31 years of age and has definitely go pass his peaks. I feel so sad for him, since his departure from Chelsea, he has just been meant with one disaster or another. I guess he (Eden Hazard) voluntary retiring is because he doesn't think he'll be call up again and his footballing career is over after his contract at Real Madrid ends. I think he should return to Chelsea and he'll get everything back on track. Him leaving a club that was built around him to a club that he'll just be an ordinary players was the worst career decision of his playing time.
He better not make retiring from international football his second worst decision without achieving anything with the national team. There's more tournament to be played that Belgium can do something about, in the next 2-4 years and if all the players in the national side are fit, they are a deadly opponent to play against.
agree with you, if we investigate, that the average age of Belgian players has not touched 36++ years, if hazard is a little patient for the next 4 years, then he will be 35 years old to return to defend Belgium in the world cup. I still remember Belgium's extraordinary performance at the 2018 world cup and was very surprised by their performance at this year's world cup. What Belgium needs is a good coach who has a good strategy and is able to take advantage of the star players in the Belgian squad.
