If Sergio Busquets should leave Barcelona now, it will be the perfect time to do so after the season end, as I expect this should also be his last outing for the Spain national team, I don't think he'll play for Spain again after the world cup, as the next major tournament is two years away and he'll be 36 years by then.

The major reason I'd happy he's leaving is because the Barcelona would obviously be in good hands with both Gavi and Pedri playing fantastic and next to world class football, and De Jong would just need to be retained at the club and along side Franck Kessie. I'd also expect Jordi Alba to be approaching a similar decision, but he might have to stay for another year though, because he's current contract is valid until the summer of 2024
