It seems like there is still nothing clear on Guardiola's future at Manchester City. I thought there wouldn't be much problem after Txiki Begiristain left and was replaced with Hugo Viana.  Sad

They say Rúben Amorim is considered as their potential next manager in case Pep Guardiola leaves at the end of the season.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/oct/15/manchester-city-target-ruben-amorim-as-next-manager-if-pep-guardiola-leaves?CMP=share_btn_url

He has had all of his life in Portugal so far in his player and manager career both. He has been managing Sporting for 4 years and won many titles. But I'm curious how much he could adapt to managing a huge team like Manchester City which is full of stars...

Many Barcelona players would be happy to see Haaland join. But, this seems impossible. If it was Madrid, and it may happen considering they have money to do that, but they weren't Madrid. They have financial problems that remain unsolved.

I'm doubting Barcelona's intention to sign haaland.
Yeah it's just Barcelona's and their fans dreams, don't take this joke too serious.

I see no reason Haaland need to move to other teams since Manchester City currently the best team, Real Madrid also one of the best too, but they already have Mbappe. If Haaland intention want to join other team to collect more domestic trophy, he should move to Inter instead.

Inter is a rich team and they also have a good squad too.

I don’t even see Haaland thinking of joining any team now, he is doing exceptionally well in Manchester City and his performance keeps improving. Any trophy he can dream of, can be achieved by him in Manchester City. The only thing he can’t win there is the league trophy of another league competition that he’s not playing in. Once he’s able to win the champions league again and again, I don’t see much reason why he should move to another team. But for experience sake, he can try other teams and see a new challenge and maybe he’ll be rated well when he plays in other leagues and prevails there too. Haaland i’m sure will perform well in other leagues because he has that quality and from the look of things, he’ll do well anywhere he finds himself playing tomorrow.

What if Barcelona recruited Haaland in installments is even more of a joke. Grin

Haaland actually doesn't need to be moved, at Manchester City he is already comfortable and is the most priority player where he won many titles including being a top scorer and is really on fire with his club now.

Inter Milan do not splurge on player purchases... They always buy cheap players but Inter are able to become quality players, and I think the Serie A club will not be able to bring Haaland.

Inter has a lot of financial problems, they are staying afloat but I doubt very much that Inter will be able to give Haaland an equivalent contract compared to City and the same is considered the fight for titles such as the Champions League, and the Premier League is definitely more prestigious than Serie A. Maybe he would like to play for Real, this is often the dream of many players, but why would he need it, unless he also wants to become La Liga champion, because he has won everything a player can dream of with City.
The news of Haaland's departure is increasingly being discussed by many people, but I myself don't think he will leave anytime soon. He is doing well with Manchester City, and he has also won many prestigious titles so I don't see any reason that could encourage him to leave Manchester City. The first rumor said that he would join Barcelona, my question is can they afford Haaland with the financial problems they are still facing? I don't think so. Inter Milan is the name mentioned, I don't think Haaland will be more interested and he will prefer to stay. If he wants to get a different experience maybe that makes sense, but I don't think he will leave this quickly.

I am a Barcelona supporter and it never crossed my mind that Barca would recruit Erling Haaland, but if there are many Barca supporters who just hope Haaland will come to Barca, that's natural even though they know and are very aware that it won't happen in the near future. let alone planning to bring Haaland to Camp Nou, for several players who were on Barcelona's radar in the last summer transfer window, it is difficult to realize. Realistically, Barcelona will not recover in a short time. However, now Flick can maximize his team, even though Lewa is old, he has become a sharp player again. Moreover, Haaland seems to be staying with Manchester City. If there is a club that wants to recruit this Norwegian striker, of course they must be ready to drain their finances to bring him. That is, if the Norwegian striker is willing. Quoting what you said, my question is, is Inter willing to pay Haaland's transfer value which is certainly fantastic. That is, if Haaland is willing. IMO, several other teams can be ideal choices for Haaland, also those who have abundant finances. again, on condition that Haaland wants to leave the Etihad Stadium.

In my opinion, Haaland is currently in a very good position at Manchester City so it is difficult to see him move to another team at this time, especially since Haaland has gotten everything he wants in his career with Manchester City so far, barcelona has been the most successful club in europe, but for now of course finance is their main problem which makes them have limitations in recruiting new players especially with the price which is expensive, the possibility of him to move is of course possible happen but for now barcelona is not the right choice for him to look for a new challenge or want to play in a different league, If we consider other teams indeed Madrid will always be a big attraction for top european players so far, while inter milan is also interesting in my opinion,  but they may not have the same appeal as other big clubs in urope.
If Haaland had an offer from Real Madrid then I would have said it would have been the right decision for him to leave Manchester City for Real Madrid but now if he leaves Manchester City and goes to another club it would definitely not be a good decision for him. Real Madrid have completed the contract with Mbappe so they will definitely not buy this star. If Real Madrid does not buy this star, he may get big offers from other clubs in Europe, but he will not be able to enrich his career by going to all other clubs, as a result of which his market value will decrease a lot.  Haaland has been great for Manchester City and we've heard rumors of him winning the Ballon d'Or several times, leaving Manchester City at this moment would leave him without a major personal achievement.

Gareth Southgate couldn't make good use of what he has in possession, his football is based on experience and age, once you're a senior player in club, he doesn't need to be aligned with the young talents, rather he settles for lesser competitive players. Well it's good that he's been relieve from his managerial duties and putting someone with experience as his replacement makes everything run smoothly. Thomas Tuchel appointed as the new England coach, good news or bad news?

As much as I don't lock and roll with Gareth Southgate, I can not come out here to say he didn't use his chances, he did but wasn't a tactically sound manager when it comes to tactical games. He was able to play two finals in the last two euros competition, although, I'm not a fan of this traditional british style of playing football. ( Sit back and hit your opponents with counter attacks ). Anyways, Thomas Tuchel is a huge upgrade to Gareth Southgate, majority of these british managers fo not like him for them, but I feel like he has proven himself at the highest level. Good luck to him, I will love to see him win the FIFA world cup with em!

Several media outlets have reported that Barcelona have made Haaland a top priority as they look to build a team capable of dominating La Liga under new head coach Hansi Flick. I am very skeptical that Barcelona can bring Haaland to Camp Nou because they are currently still having financial problems since the last few years, another factor that makes this transfer difficult is that Manchester City find it very difficult to sell their mainstay player because he is an important player in the squad led by Guardiola.

Haaland moving to Barcelona seems impossible for me except he do really wants to move there because he's much more happy in Manchester City and who would wants to leave playing under Pep Guardiola as their coach, while being among the key players in his team.

Barcelona main problem is not money here, even if they had enough to sign him, there's no Alavarez in Manchester City that we can then say they may even be tempted by big money move, they'll do everything in their power to keep him at Etihad.

With the situation above, Barcelona must target other players as alternatives, such as bringing Neymar back to Camp Nou when his contract ends with Al Hilal.
Neymar leaving for Barcelona for a free transfer will be quite ironic for Al Hilal, after how much have spent in getting him but sadly he did get an ACL and he has been out for a year now. Though he will be back but I wonder if he will want a really huge pay cut, in order to make this move possible.

Barcelona can still get him next season if they want him, but Hensi Flick once said that they are also good without him, that they have good players that can play in his position and his team will do everything fine even without him; this statement was after the deal collapsed before the beginning of the season.

Nico Williams is a good playmaker, he has potential just like Lamin Yamal of Barcelona, and if two of them happened to be in the same team, they will play well because their bond is strong, and they seem to understand each other.
Nico is making this statement to save his position, and not to make it look obvious that he is desperate to leave the team, but we all know that he has dream to play for either Barcelona or Madrid which I believe will happen some days it's just a matter of time.
In addition, Barcelona also have to balance their spending if they want Nico Williams, actually the club also wants this player, it's just that the club is not ready for big spending because Barcelona itself last season also recruited Dani Olmo and Nico Williams also said that he wanted to stay at Athletic Bilbao and did not show interest in going to Barcelona.

Yes, I know he is a great player and might fit the atmosphere in Barcelona because there are Lamine Yamal there who might make it easier for him to adapt, but unfortunately for now Barcelona doesn't really need this player, they are still good enough even without recruiting Nico Williams as you said at the beginning.
Barcelona has had a perfect start under Hansi Flick,  Barcelona's attack is still playing explosively without Nico Williams. On the left wing, Raphinha has performed very well this season. Whether he is there or not is not important to Hansi Flick.

I know Barcelona's interest in Nico Williams is not new. In fact, Williams has had a rather slow start to the season, scoring just one goal and providing no assists in seven La Liga appearances. Barcelona needs to think carefully about this transfer deal because the team's finances are also tight. So let time prove this player's true talent. If the 'jewel' is true, the upcoming summer transfer window will decide Williams' future. Although several European clubs have shown interest, all signs point to Barcelona being the team to snatch this 'jewel' from Athletic Club.

It would be a miracle if Barcelona were to buy Haaland. Because Barcelona is a team struggling with financial problems right now. In fact, I remember that they sent İlkay Gündoğan away from the team because of this. I don't think they wanted to send him away and buy Haaland. Because Haaland is a player who could be a huge burden on the team with his transfer fee and contract fee. To tell the truth, Haaland could play for Manchester City long enough to finish his career.

That's just a rumor. There's no proof that Barcelona wants to sign Haaland in 2026. And it seems a cheap rumor being made by unreliable journalists. And i just checked their fans, and they said that they have never heard this news. And also, i have some reasons why they won't sign him to be their striker.

1. Expensive wages.

2. Expensive prices.

3. City won't let him leave by extending his contract.

It's no more news England now officially has a head coach for the England senior men's team in the person of Thomas Tuchel, a development that will be officially unveiled tomorrow noon hour. A German by decent probably the third none English man to head the English team so far. A contract valid till 2026.

Not a bad signatory for the three loins but am sure there's gonna be a few controversy with this man not being an English native but German, and I wonder why the English FA chosed to test new waters outside the shores of England at this critical period. Wonder how the voices of fans will echo when England and Germany meet in international competition like the world cup... Can't wait for that to happen.

Congratulations TT.

But it is said that he is going to start his work from January 1, 2025. Until then Lee Carsley is going to continue to take care of the team in the remaining two games of the Nations League.

I think this is exciting news. Because I really like Tuchel as a manager. I still can't forget the way he made Chelsea win the Champions League title in his first season already.  Roll Eyes

I never liked Southgate's system. It doesn't matter they qualified for a couple of finales in the past. He should have won a single trophy at least. I think Tuchel is likely to start a much better era there.

Yeah, it's to let Lee Carsley  to finish his duties to the national team as agreed. And I think this is gonna give Thomas Tuchel much time to get prepared for the task ahead. I trust he's going to bring his ideas, tactics and experience of German football to the English side which am sure the players will be keen to learn and add to their capacity.

Honestly speaking, I understand a lot of England fans ain't corroborating with the idea of making Thomas Tuchel the head coach of the three lions as their aspirations has been directed towards Pep Gardiola which they believe have the wherewithal to take the England team to an optimum height of either winning the World cup by 2026 or at least close to it. But I have faith in Tuchel doing great with this team and what he needs now is the support of the English national team fans as they would have done with Pep Gardiola their prospect.

It's in the news that Thomas Tuchel has agreed to be the new permanent coach of England. The German will become the third foreign manager of the three loins if a deal is signed. So, the possibility of Pep Guardiola coaching England is approximately zero. He might decide to extend his contract because he is achieving so much with Manchester City.
Well Tuchel have been without a job for a while after failing to succeed at Bayern Munich which could have been a reason why some clubs have not really considered signing him yet. I think coaching England is a good job for him and it’s a good way to regain his reputation of being a good coach as he was referred before. England has good players and enough squad depth to become a good team so we just have to have faith in Tuchel to take England to the highest levels.

I think for now we just have to wait and see the impact of Tuchel on the team and see if they will just have to Forget about signing Guardiola or not.

It seems Joan Laporta is desperate to bring Erling Haaland to Barca. My question is, does the club have the money to bring him and also cover his wage? I also doubt City will allow him to leave.
I don’t think Haaland has any reasons to join Barcelona because he has already won Major trophies with Manchester City and Barcelona don’t seem like a team that can win him trophies. Even if he wants to for the love i also don’t think Barca can afford his signing fees of even his wages but he would be a good signing for them.

i literally didn't believe any of the rumors that came out earlier, because we all know how well the English football is run, and employing a German sounded too good to be true. I didn't confirm it from Fabrizio, but from the official X account of the England men's football team. Still surprised though.

Same thought I had even before he was appointed. From what was posted on the official X account, it seems he will take over from 2025. But there is one more international break in November, so we might not be seeing him in the next international break that's coming up in November. I hope he does well for England. It's good to have tuchel back in England.
