I don't think if Haaland is going to other leagues for weak teams, if he should be going for other leagues he will go for the best team. It won't make sense if Haaland plays for weak team it will affect his performance.

This source says that Haaland has a release clause on some terms. He can be bought for 200m euros as of 2024 and this amount will go down to 175m euros as of 2025.

Truthfully I believe that some specific teams would be willing to pay for his release clause in 2024 and wouldn't wait for another year just for a 25m euro discount. Teams like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and PSG are the first teams that come to my mind as likely teams to make this offer. Real Madrid would like to bring a solid striker in place of Benzema as he is getting very old. Bayern Munich are already in need of a striker. Just look at players like Mbappe or Haaland, and what they were doing at 21 years old, you would see the difference and understand why he is not enough at all.

I'm sure Erik Ten Haag would also have such an idea, but the problem now is that is there any team that'd be willing to splash a lot on him rn and I don't think Man Utd would also cheaply sell him too, considering how much they had to pay for get his signature. That being said, I don't Man Utd has anything financial crisis that'd stop them from getting another or two new midfielders with need to sell Maguire, if during the De Jong negotiations stages, there were never talks about the possibility of a player inclusion in the deal, which also portrays the fact that they have the resources to get any player that can be convinced to play for the club, without breaching the FFP rules.

casemiro came into the field (substitution) McTominay in the 59th minute but I see the impact is not so big for United's midfield. I know Manchester United are crazy about Frank de Jong but do they see the potential of other players, Tielemans is one of the best midfielders in the EPL, but there is also an issue that if in the transfer season next year, Manchester United cannot get de Jong then Tielemans will be an alternative strongest candidate.

It looks like there are quite many teams after signing Youri Tielemans next summer. The current candidates according to rumours are Liverpool, Juventus and Real Madrid.

Juventus seem the most realistic one here. Because they really need a solid midfielder to strengthen the field. Pogba has been transferred but he is out for a long time due to a serious injury. We don't even know how strong he will be able to return. Juventus shouldn't leave their job to chance. They might even make a move for Tielemans in January taking Leicester's bad condition into account. I think that Tielemans would be okay to sign for a bigger team already now.

I've read this on this source. If it's true then he can be still considered as quite affordable for rich teams in Europe. Two years is still a good amount of time for Haaland to enjoy his time in the biggest European league. There would definitely be some teams on the line to pay his release clause to be in touch with only the player by removing the team obstacle. I also think that Real Madrid would be in this race as they are already looking for a big opportunity to sign a striker. I know they have Benzema and Rodrygo but signing a player like Haaland is priceless. Grin
