I also read this news and there is some news also that Manchester is ready to agree on the release clause offered. But actually this will likely still be the same as before. Even though Barcelona wanted to release De Jong, De Jong still wanted to stay until his rights in salary demands were granted.
This might happen if Barcelona give De Jong Arrears because this can be a mediator for them but Barcelona doesn't seem to want to do that even though it is De Jong's work.

Manchester United still needs Frank De Jong, the Casemiro deal didn't solve any problem. The team needs some quality midfielders to help Erikson who is being outstanding in the team. Look at what their younger brothers Manchester City is doing to them in the prestigious Manchester Derby.
casemiro came into the field (substitution) McTominay in the 59th minute but I see the impact is not so big for United's midfield. I know Manchester United are crazy about Frank de Jong but do they see the potential of other players, Tielemans is one of the best midfielders in the EPL, but there is also an issue that if in the transfer season next year, Manchester United cannot get de Jong then Tielemans will be an alternative strongest candidate.

Cristiano Ronaldo is still a good player but talking about fitness Ronaldo has really dropped and as a result of this he is not able to play and press especially when they play against tough opponents but I believe he will still get his chance at some point in the season, he just needs one or two game wonders and he will be back in the starting eleven again. The way Manchester United fared today against City, it's starting to look like he is just in the team to add to the numbers.
Let's see what conclusions the Manchester United head coach ten Hag will make after such a sensitive defeat by Manchester City and the final 6-3 should not deceive him, because up to 84 minutes there were absolutely shameful 6-1. It's just that after United began to slowly gain points, the head coach could have the impression that the team is doing fine without significant participation in the game. And Cristiano is not yet a player who is ready to constantly go out for 10-20 minutes in a match and try to take advantage of the given chance. We will look further, but if ten Hag does not change his decision and also continues to allocate playing time, then it will be better for everyone if Ronaldo moves to another team in the next transfer window, even without participating in the Champions League, because the player does not have much time left for an active playing career to spend it time on the bench.

It looks like there are quite many teams after signing Youri Tielemans next summer. The current candidates according to rumours are Liverpool, Juventus and Real Madrid.

Juventus seem the most realistic one here. Because they really need a solid midfielder to strengthen the field. Pogba has been transferred but he is out for a long time due to a serious injury. We don't even know how strong he will be able to return. Juventus shouldn't leave their job to chance. They might even make a move for Tielemans in January taking Leicester's bad condition into account. I think that Tielemans would be okay to sign for a bigger team already now.

Just because Ronaldo has played in the Europa League doesn't mean he can't play in the Champions League this season. If between the Champions League and the Europa League there was a transition of clubs towards the Champions League, and not only towards the Europa League (3rd place in the Champions League group stage goes to the Europa League), then the transition would not be possible. So if everything goes right, he will leave United in the winter and have time to play in the Champions League.

If man utd are in a bad position i think he will definetly think about this options and change for a champions league club. His playing time is reduced by a large amount and i think he isnt satisfied with it. He needs more goal chances and he aint getting that in the epl or europe league
Now Ronaldo role as a complement to the Manchester United squad, he spends more time on the bench than being given playing time. Ronaldo is having a difficult time at Manchester United. He has to accept the fact that the team he is playing for is currently absent in the Champions League and this season he has not been included in Ten Hag main squad. Ronaldo must make wise decisions for himself after his contract with Manchester United expires, Ronaldo must choose a club that can help to achieve his desire to play in the Champions League.
It is normal to see aged players play from the bench and Ronaldo is no exception, same way Juan Mata was playing from the bench for united because his fitness was not good enough to play longer time and start for united especially for intensed games. Ronaldo will have to accept the fact that he is no longer fit enough to play 90 minutes and with the tensity of the league which requires stamina through out the game and Ronaldo seem to be lacking this quality at the moment.

I really cannot agree with @Pokapoka124 because I think Cristiano Ronaldo is still a player with great physical attributes. He is one of the fittest if not the fittest player at the age of 38. I don't think Cristiano Ronaldo not playing regularly has anything to do with his fitness. I think it purely comes down to the fact that Manchester United is able to produce the results that they want without Cristiano Ronaldo. Basically, Cristiano Ronaldo is not a necessity for Manchester United right now. That is the only reason why he is not being given 90 minutes in every match.

Yes, he is probably not as good as he was before. But he is not washed. And Manchester United not being able to bring the results can obviously not be the fault of only one player.

Christopher Nkunku went through a medical with Chelsea! His official arrival is expected in the summer of next year, so hopefully he can join Chelsea by the end of October. Allan Saint Maximin, Jude Bellingham, and Federico Chiesa are all players Chelsea should consider. As a result, they need to find a good replacement for Jorginho.

This season, Chelsea have record the arrival of 15 new players for a total cost of €281 million
In addition to some of the names you mention, Dario Osorio, a young player from U. de Chile, is also reportedly getting an offer from Chelsea.
15 The previous agreement did not seem to give satisfaction to Chelsea, despite being listed in 1st position in the Premier League as the club with the largest expenditure of funds to buy players.
With the new leader after Abra left Chelsea, almost everything was overhauled in terms of management, club officials and even players.
It looks like they want to make something new but it has not been seen until now and is still far from expectations.
It's really difficult with the arrival of that many players because surely a lot of chemistry can't be carried out when something like this happens.

Did you see Haaland’s performance in today’s derby? Manchester City would be insane to let him go. I think Haaland will stay more than four years at Manchester City because he feels at home at Manchester City and it has been a dream to play for Manchester City where his father also played and he is happy to be there. I will also love to see him play for the most prestigious club in the world talking about Real Madrid, you are right about Madrid having something special that every young player sees playing for Real Madrid as the height they need to attain in their career. If he is willing to make a transfer to Madrid, I believe Xavi will be more than happy to make that addition.

I have seen his amazing performance and it seems really difficult to see Manchester City letting him go that easy.

https://futbol.si.com/news/erling-haaland-has-release-clause-in-man-city-contract-from-2024

I've read this on this source. If it's true then he can be still considered as quite affordable for rich teams in Europe. Two years is still a good amount of time for Haaland to enjoy his time in the biggest European league. There would definitely be some teams on the line to pay his release clause to be in touch with only the player by removing the team obstacle. I also think that Real Madrid would be in this race as they are already looking for a big opportunity to sign a striker. I know they have Benzema and Rodrygo but signing a player like Haaland is priceless.  Grin

Ronaldo is not a player to rely on now, he is not very active in performance like before because of age. Bayern Munich needs a kind of player that is young and talented. Let's take a look at Ronaldo in Manchester United,  he is not the main strength of Manchester United. The only advantage of Bayern Munich signing Ronaldo is that they will generate more money from the sale of jerseys. Signing Ronaldo will also require lots of money for Bayern Munich.

Oh my god, you all talk about his age, did you even watch the Manchester United games? Or do you really think that in the three months of the break he got so old that he stopped playing well. After all, last season he was playing fine. Most likely he just lacks playing practice. And besides, his mother recently said he would play until he was 40.
Most of the folks here making commentary about Ronaldo don't even watch any match. All they do is check results from livescores and stats. They forget so quickly that Ronaldo was Manchester United's top scorer last season. He was the 3rd top scorer in the EPL with 18 goals. He out scored younger Harry Kane and the likes

He saved Manchester United from many embarrassing situations, but now that he is not getting enough play time this season, people are so quick to judge negatively.

That's why I'm saying that over the summer break he couldn't, purely physically, get older and suddenly start playing worse. I'm sure that if he had been given more games in the main roster he would have continued to score goals and aspire to the "top scorer of the season. That's what the coach decided - to change his tactics and strategy. And the coach in this situation can't be condemned, he understands that Ronaldo will soon finish his career and he needs to think up something new.

There is nothing wrong with Cristiano Ronaldo
I can remember when he had his medical at Juventus they said he has the physic of a twenty years old player
Because if one bad season people will start saying ill about a player that has dominated the world for over ten good year's this is embarrassing

That's the thing, he didn't have a bad season, he played great last season. As for this season, the coach just favors young players over older ones like Ronaldo. Today, by the way, is the first game where he sat on the bench the whole game from start to finish. Strange that he didn't let him out.

There is some claim like Haaland's father stated that Haaland would play for Manchester City for 3-4 years.

This makes me think about if Haaland has another dream team in his mind and he is planning to do his best to play for them in the future. If there is then I might have an idea about this team. It can be Real Madrid as usual. Real Madrid has something special over itself that is enough to entice many young and skillful players into the team. Real Madrid were planning huge moves for him and Haaland both but none of them happened. We will see what the future brings. I'm sure that Manchester City would be ready to spend insane amount of money to keep him at the team. But it'd still be up to Haaland's final decision of course.

There is some claim like Haaland's father stated that Haaland would play for Manchester City for 3-4 years.

Will it be? Because I have read in several places that Real Madrid are considering signing two players from Manchester City for the next season and one of them would be Erling Haaland. The other player coveted by Real Madrid is Portuguese winger João Cancelo.

The intention for Cancelo is for him to play on the left side, as he has done in England.. it is a position that is currently lacking in a good player in the Santiago Bernabéu team, which has only Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vázquez, who is improvised there.

I've also heard about the Cancelo rumour. However Cancelo has signed for Manchester City until 2027 already. He is one of the irrevocable members of the defense line. While he is so precious to the team it is going to be too difficult for Real Madrid to convince the team. It is up to Cancelo's decision and I wonder if he'd like to return to the La Liga so soon.

As for Haaland, Real Madrid would be more serious about signing Mbappe or Haaland next summer. Mbappe would be their main target. However let's be realistic. Both of these players have newly signed for their teams and they both are very happy now. I see Real Madrid having no chance for any of them.

I don't know Luca Langoni. @nocontextfooty made a successful meme describing the transfer market concisely. I found the post fun. :)

Also, I think Haaland will be the player who gives the best return on the money paid in terms of performance this season. This boy is already a huge phenomenon with his behavior on and off the football field. That he was the best transfer of the year should be a non-arguable topic.

I saw Fabrizio's tweet about this and when he is there it will most likely happen in January.
Reportedly a release clause of €60 million and this could change according to the agreement later. But this will be very good for Chelsea because even though Auba is already there now it might be a little different because Auba was brought in at that time when Tuchel was there and Nkunku is still in a productive age at the moment.

Really don't know how true these claims are. the way Haaland is playing in Manchester City i don't think you will be interested to move so soon. if Manchester City is able to win the Champions League i really don't think Haaland is going to move. now the only thing that can give this claim some base is that Real Madrid also wants him on the team. so, that is something any player is going to be interested in. but i still find it hard to believe that Haaland is going to be interested to move so soon from a club like Manchester City when he is performing so well for Manchester City.

Since Man United was held by Ten Hag, Ronaldo has started to lose his place in the main squad, he often plays as a substitute or doesn't even play at all.

Thats because ten Haag sees Rashford and Martial as better option than Ronaldo in the team and he has to pick those players in these kind of games to keep his job safe.

Man United is like punishing Ronaldo because he had wanted to leave Man United to find a club that could give him a chance to play in the Champions League. As a result of failing to get a new club, Ronaldo had to stay with Man United and had to accept the harsh reality there.

I don't think so. Him wanting to leave has nothing to do with United punishing him with lack of chances. If he would have been performing at top form then I have no doubt that ten Haag would have picked him above Rashford and Martial. Let me ask you what's the guarantee that Ronaldo will get keep on getting regular chances if he changes team considering he still is unable to perform? Every manager puts faith on a player but when they are not reliable whether it be anyone, manager has no option but to go with other players to try some change and see if that changes anything in their form then and if it does then they stick to that after then.

Today Ten Hag did not give Ronaldo the opportunity to play for a minute, for me it is obvious that this is already something personal. Well, that happens sometimes. Now the question is who will run away from United first - Ronaldo or Ten Hag. To be honest, I will hope that both leave the club - Ronaldo because he deserves more, and Ten Hag because he failed.

Man United does not appreciate the presence of Ronaldo in his squad, Ronaldo deserves to be given the opportunity to play in important matches, at least he starts the game as a substitute.

Manchester United still seems to be after Frenkie de Jong despite adding Casemiro to the team already.

https://www.espn.co.uk/football/soccer-transfers/story/4751862/manchester-united-and-frenkie-de-jong-saga-to-continuebellingham-also-a-target

They were looking for a defensive midfielder and spent a lot of money to sign Casemiro. His contract details are really enormous for a 30-year old player. But he was still a great choice for the team as he was one of the most reliable players at Real Madrid by his impressive performance. However he hasn't played in many league matches for now and we don't know if he will adapt to the team easily. Maybe Manchester United want to have an even stronger midfield. Because after losing Pogba they needed to strengthen the area. But I don't think that they will be able to transfer de Jong before next summer.
I also read this news and there is some news also that Manchester is ready to agree on the release clause offered. But actually this will likely still be the same as before.
