If Dortmund is planning to ask for that much money for this player I don't think Liverpool is willing to pay. It would be a stupid amount of money to pay for this 19 year old. To be honest i am surprised that the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo to Sporting Lissabon has not have happened yet. I know that Ronaldo is currently earning around 30 Million € AFTER taxes at Manchester United and that he is one of the top earners in football. Sporting could never pay a salary of this magnitude to CR7 but i doubt that he insists on such a extremely high salary. As you already said the main motivation for Ronaldo to change the club is the fact that he will not play Champions League at Manchester and he desperately wants to score a few more goals in that competition in order to stay in the record books of football for as long as possible.
