Filip Kostic's name was mentioned with Galatasaray, but last night news came that Fenerbahçe had rented the football player from Juventus for 1 year.
Osterwolde was injured and Ferdi went to Brighton. Fenerbahçe, which was going to have a problem with the left back, solved its left back problem with a good football player.
What I'm really wondering is: Why do these Turkish teams always seek the same players? This situation happens almost every year. This is what happened to Zaha last time. Galatasaray bought Zaha and sent him on loan to the Lyon team this year without seeing any contribution.
Turkish teams have a serious scout problem. This affects their economy badly. If two teams are interested in the same player, the price increases. They need to solve this problem.

Congrats to Fenerbahçe! I think it is a good signing but I hope Kostic wouldn't play unwillingly. Because you know, he did his best to stay at Juventus instead. He wasn't thinking of leaving. By the way a Galatasaray official made a statement on Kostic talks like they found he was injury-prone and that's why they didn't push more. I don't believe them. Osimhen is much more prone to injuries. But Kostic has had only very small injuries during his career.  Smiley

van Dijk wants new deal from Liverpool. He has turned down Saudi offer. He is 33 now but still can contribute a lot for at least a few more years.  Smiley  I think Liverpool should absolutely keep him.

Liverpool is very interested in getting Chiesa in the squad and the deal is almost done as Chiesa has agreed on 81000£ per weak as he was on a contract with Juventus. Let's hope the deal should get close soon as LFC's new boss praises his Professionalism.
A 12 M deal for a Liverpool and in your thoughts who did a good business?
As rumors are coming Chiesa faced some serious injury problems nowadays.

This is obviously a loss for the club as Dani Olmo is injured playing in the national league with his country Spain and if Olmo is injured for a long time Barcelona will certainly be hit hard considering he is an important player for the club who has scored two goals in two matches.
Now we want to know how the medical tests went with the results, of course we hope it's not so severe and he can be out for a few weeks but if it's a long time it's a loss for Barcelona.

If Olmo is out for an extended period, Barcelona’s title ambitions could be significantly affected. While the club has depth, losing such a creative force will undoubtedly hinder their offensive capabilities.

Clubs must be cautious when managing player health, especially with busy schedules like Barcelona, which includes La Liga, the Champions League, and other competitions. Balancing international duties with club commitments is always tricky, but ensuring proper rest and recovery will be crucial for Olmo and others to avoid further injuries.

Hansi-Flick will need to rethink the team's formation and tactics. Olmo's creativity and fluidity in the midfield are difficult to replicate. This may lead to a shift in playing style, potentially leaning on other players to step up or changing to a more defensive approach in upcoming matches.

Everyone is thinking the same like you. Turkish league could be an easy place for him to beat, but sometimes, Reality tells us the harsh result. He moved to a less competitive league. But, he will have lower quality teammates. This doubts me if he is gonna score numerous goals for Galatasaray.

About Osimhen goes to Arsenal, it's unlikely to happen. Napoli has sent them an offer to sign him in June, but they refused it due to the non sense price and expensive wages. Also, it's no way for them to recruit someone as problematic as him and his agent in their squad.

Arsenal did the right thing not to sign him from Napoli.
I believe the news is fake. Osimhen’s transfer is hot news right now, sports media are probably making things up to increase their ratings. Chelsea and Arsenal could not sign Osimhen because of the expensive contract, if Osimhen had accepted a paycut from either of these clubs, he would be in the premier league.

Osimhen is going to score a lot of goals at Galatasary. The team is not a weak side, their attack is very strong. Yesterday, they won their match against Erokspor with a 8-3 scoreline. Scoring goals at Gala will not be a problem for Osimhen.

I am glad that Victor Osimhen finally secured a club after all the delays and tensions. Seeing this headline today, I think it is worth discussing because it has some lessons. To be a successful player, talent is not enough, character is more important. Victor made some mistakes that affected his transfer, he has anger management issues. His unguided comments about some coaches he has worked under are not okay. Coaches should have the right human management skills but no coach would like to work under a player who cannot control his emotions.
This news is fresh out of the oven and I think Arteta should stop his interest in Osimhen. It just ruins the atmosphere in the dressing room which is so harmonious and I don't think he wants that to happen. If Osimhen comes to Arsenal it will only mess up everything he has worked so hard to build and many players will feel uncomfortable with his behavior.

I also heard that Osimhen has parted ways with his agent and he blames his current situation on the agent's poor handling of his transfer. However, if you want to be a star then you don't need to complicate your own future and focus on fixing your less than professional attitude. When Osimhen returns from Napoli I'm not sure the offers will be as abundant as before.

I think that rumors should stay away from football, it's a shameful thing that these people here who are profiteers without mercy should still be allowed to keep football in their hands, regarding Osimhen I would say that when he returns to Naples the offers won't be exactly like before seen and considered the player's behavior!

As if City didn't spend enough under Guardiola  Grin
But in fact you are right - I saw information that the club plans to allocate 300 million to the new coach for transfers. But still, the most important thing is how the League vs. City case ends - if the League wins, then sanctions will be imposed on City and Guardiola will leave, if City can get away with it again, then he will stay and continue his dirty deeds.

Chill bro, we're a few days away from the start of the hearing by Manchester City. We will know what's gonna happen with them.

A few days ago, the Premier League lost to Leicester City in the court. Also, Chelsea got PL's approval to sell their hotels to their sister company. This was to lower their PSR lost below the limit. Those cases can motivate City to fight harder against PL over the alleged 115 breaches by them.

Let's see how oil money will play out in this battle. And nothing surprises to me if they get light sanction.
I got this believe that the case would be in favor of City and if it requires them to spend heavily to get away with the charges then they're very much capable of doing so since they're backed by oil rich owners. Well whatever the case may be I think it's not going to stop Pep Guardiola from leaving City soon my reasons are that he's achieved everything achievable in the league and has set lots of records so he'll want to try another experience which is coaching a country team and winning trophies like the World Cup or so and even though Pep Guardiola decides to continue at City after this season, I doubt if he'll stay more than a year, he'll definitely sign a year contract then probably win another EPL trophy then resign like Klopp did but come to think of it, 300 million is more than enough and a great advantage to any coach that succeeds Pep but City should take their time when it comes to selection so they won't make same mistake Manchester United did after Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement.

Pep Guardiola's contract will end in the summer of 2025 but until now there has been no sign that he wants to extend his service at Manchester City. I wonder if the previous rumors about Pep Guardiola leaving at the end of the season will really happen because the coach has also created a long history with Man City so far, Pep Guardiola must immediately make his decision because finding a coach like him is not easy for the big club.

The club has anticipated that if Pep Guardiola leaves next season, the club will dig deep into its pockets to recruit many star players so that its performance remains stable and does not experience a drastic decline.

I wouldn't believe SPORT if I were you. They have a knack for reporting false news all the time. Most of the stuff they report all the time is false and I'm almost certain this is false too.
There was no real interest in Osimhen from Arsenal. If there was we would have known of it and other news channels would have reported it too the same way we all knew about the interest from Chelsea.

Having anger issues is bad, but I feel it's actually exaggerated a bit. Aside from Finidi, I have not heard of Osimhen having or causing any issues in the locker room or disrespecting his managers. If a club really wanted him, I don't think that would be an issue. People like Diego Costa, Arder Turan and Balloteli were still employed
You would have simply said that you are not aware of Arsenal's interest in Osimhen. A quick Google search would have help you to see that the news received headlines in some news outlets.

Regarding the striker's disagreement with coaches, he had one with former French Napoli coach Rudi Garcia. The Nigerian reacted angrily at the coach when he was substituted.

The reason for the post is not to criticise the player but to derive some lessons. Some of the players you mentioned would have achieved more if they were well-behaved. Every coach will not sign a disrespectful player if they have other options.

What do you mean by dirty deeds? Why are you already passing judgement without any proven evidence, pep Guardiola is not going anywhere he is still going to remain the head coach of Manchester City beyond this season and you can keep yelling for all I care. Which club doesn't spend enough in the premier league? Why is it that when it comes to Manchester City you all don't hesitate to cast the first stone, why? Money don't play football hope you understand that. The league won't win any case against Manchester City because Manchester City has done no wrong. Whatever cases you are hoping that will go against Manchester City will be dismissed and all those waiting for Manchester City to be sanctioned will be disgraced.

Victor Osimhen is rare gem in football and his market price was too high for an EPL side to afford, instead they sort out other alternatives to grabbed Osimhen's deal but couldn't accomplish them. Osimhen is Galatasaray player on a year loan from Napoli, its brillaint choice for the Nigerian because sitting on the bench since Napoli excluded him from the fiest team would mean unwise decisions and challenge for him. He always dream of playing for an EPL side but his dream wouldn't be accomplished this season. Arsenal are in stable form, they do not need any presence of a top striker, a hyped one as that which will definitely cost them a fortune and we know Arsenal board, they barely spend significant amount on players in the transfer window.

Mikel Arteta view, he has the necessary players in his frontline, having no complaints at all. Mikel Arteta implementing the 4-3-3 formation for league games which is absolutely running smoothly for the Gunners, because having Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli in the frontline, they're executing their attacking role effectively. So bringing in another top nine will mean unclassified sectional role and ruined the good chemistry going on within the players.

I think the management will extend his contract.
I believe the decision lies on Guardiola's hand. I mean there are history of him leaving successful clubs like Barca after he wins so many trophies, and I doubt money is the issue. I also heard that some players more or less said that this season is their last dance together with him. Not sure if that's what they explicitly told us, but many journalist to report the same thing. I don't think the club can do much to change his mind if if he's truly exhausted like before.
Of course we cannot know what is happening inside the club. We only know the football played from the outside and what is reflected in the media. If he has a problem with the club, Guardiola can show it to us by not renewing his contract. Because I know he does not want to stay in a place where he is not happy. What is important from now on is if you leave Manchester City. I wonder which team can convince him. He has the potential to easily take part in any club in the world right now and I think he is the best technical director alive in active football. The club that wants to convince him should pay a lot of money and offer them a lot of opportunities, just like Manchester City.
I think Manchester City is not in any problem with everyone in team management, so there will be no main reason we can know about the future of Pep whether he will survive with contract extension or leave by spending his contract this summer.
During his career as coach also showed that Pep was coach who had handled several big European team such as Barcelona in few years and Bayern Munich until the Manchester City from 2016 to the present, we could see quite number of titles and success he had gotten for each team he trained.
Besides, Pep is also not very old, so there is an opportunity for many big teams to be able to have an interest in working with Pep and giving confidence to him, but it will be very unfortunate if Pep has to leave Manchester City this season because Manchester City itself is also deep in very good performance.
Everyone certainly hopes Pep to survive and truly extend his contract with Manchester City.

Hearing this news, it seems that Ten Hag is starting to build a strong defense again and this is a good start because Ten Hag is aware that Man United only has problems in the defense line and still has a more stable attack line. Juanlu Sánchez is still young and Ten Hag may see the talent that the player has in being improved and currently Man United is trying to make an offer to Sevilla. Do you think this will just be a rumor or will Sevilla still release Juanlu Sánchez?

Source

Too much talks about Erik Ten Hag! Lol. For Christ sake,he is no longer in charge of scouting and signing players for Manchester United. Quickly did little checks about this guy and got to see that he is a right fullback just like Diogo Dalot and Mazraoui who recently joined Manchester United from Bayern Munich. Do you see such a player getting game time if Manchester United do not sell out one of their current right fullbacks for profits? I don't believe this news, I'm guessing they're currently doing it for clicks.  If Manchester United intends signing a player, then they should look into selling Luke Shaw because he hasn't been consistent from r the club a get better Left fullback to replace him.

This two names are now linked to Barcelona and I would want to see it happening. Barcelona might be scoring goals but they don't have a good defense and also since Sergio Busquet left the club, they haven't gotten a good replacement for him in the role he plays. They're both German lads and would love to work with Hansi Flick. Joshua Kimmich did already though. Wouldn't be boggled seeing him swing that way. Jonathan Tah has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich but I don't see that getting actualized.

Real Madrid is keeping an eye on the 23 years old Arsenal defender William Saliba for the next summer move:

Here is the thing Real Madrid's current defenders are just getting older, and Real Madrid needs to bring up a replacement for them. Antonio Rudiger is 31 years okd, despite David Alaba is more than 32 years old, and Nacho left the club for Saudi Arabia side. So looking forward they are going to sign the replacement for them and the replacement is Arsenal center back William Saliba.

William Saliba is considered one of the best defenders in Primer League. He won PFA Team of the Year twice back to back in two seasons with Arsenal and is the pair of center backs with Gabriel Magalhaes in the heart of the Arsenal defense and only let only a few goals to concede in the entire season which is quite impressive...

So this remarkable performance forced Real Madrid to attract and now they want to make William Saliba a part of their defense. William Saliba's current market value is £67.5m. What do you guys think, should Arsenal demand Saliba's £67.5m value or more? Express your opinion.

https://x.com/DeadlineDayLive/status/1832675093140361329?t=p4_LqoZNypeKACVmmq7gwA&s=19

Does Real Madrid ready to break a transfer record to get Saliba? We know he has a long-term contract with the Gunners. It takes more effort for Madrid to get him from this London club.

It's very obvious that market value has nothing to do with the price tag given by Arsenal itself. If Madrid can afford more than £100m for him, then they can start a conversation; anything less is a no.

Saliba is considered a very important asset owned by Arsenal. He's young, strong, consistent, and a hard worker. A complete CB like him would cost more than 100 million just to open the talk with the gunner.

Well I don't think this particular rumour of saliba going to real madrid hold any waters, because he is a very important player in this arsenal team and I don't think that arsenal would want to cash in on one of their best players, but if their is a symptom of truth in this rumour, then I believe that it's actually going to cost real madrid a fortune just as you rightfully said to price him away from arsenal.

Then as for saliba himself, to be sincere, I don't actually think it's a good career move, because if we pay close attention to the present central backs of real madrid, they are all to quality players and base on present form, I don't think he can be a regular starter their, because Antonio rudiger, militao and David alaba are all top central back, and I think saliba will find it extremely difficult to relegate two out of three of them to be a regular starter, so I believe that he might spend more time on the bench of real madrid if this particular transfer comes to reality, so staying at arsenal will be much more better for him now, than going to real madrid now that they still have top quality central backs that might relegate him to the bench.

Yes. Pep Guardiola has not made any official announcement about his stay or departure, making "The Citizens" fans somewhat worried. If Pep Guardiola decides not to sign a new deal. Man City must be ready to react strongly. Man City must launch a huge transfer package to support the new coach. They should understand that the new Man City manager will need a lot of financial resources to bring in top recruits for his new empire at the Etihad.
We still don't know which coach will take over the hot seat of The Citizens after Pep Guardiola. But one thing is for sure, Man City's board of directors is also doing everything to keep Pep Guardiola in Manchester after 2025. Hopefully, they can keep Pep Guardiola, to continue to conquer and set legendary records for an extremely successful empire.
I think the fan should more worried about the possible penalty for the fianancial fair play issue.
We everyone thinks that they will have no points as penalty but this should be too big to ignore it.

The penalty if come will be very big.

So in the end it will be nothing at all or relegation to second division.
Yes, many of Man City's big rivals are waiting for the day when the Etihad team has to go to court to face 115 charges of financial fraud. The financial allegations against Man City are so numerous that it is one of the reasons they have not yet had to go to court. However, if the scenario is just deducting points or having a few titles erased, Man City can accept it. If worse, they are stripped of all the titles during the accusation period and relegated, it will be a real earthquake for world football. Man City fans should prepare themselves.

Pep's decision will be everything for his future. He is someone who doesn't really get influenced by money, or other things. If he realizes that his time at City is over, he will call it a day and won't think of more discussions at all.

There's a word around that City's plan for Pep's replacement is Arteta, and it's also said that Arteta is doing really great at Arsenal, but apparently, he might be open for a move at City. If that happens eventually, City won't have to worry as Arteta's been Pep's assistant for a long time, and both of them have a very similar approach to football.

Regards

Duke
Perhaps what Pep wanted to achieve at Man City he did, he has truly become a legend of the Premier League. Now this place seems too boring for a champion like Pep. Surely he will go find a new land to challenge and conquer the things that Pet wants.

Arteta is a good coach, he has brought Arsenal to the same level as Man City. But I don't believe he can abandon his favorite students to move to coach a rival team that has prevented Arteta's team from reaching the Premier League title for the past 2 years. The moment Pep left Man City. This was a great opportunity for him to win the championship with Arsenal. He did not need to break his promise to his players to go to Man City.

If the report in the headline about Arsenal's manager Mikel Arteta backing out his interest on Victor Osimhen because of the spat with Finidi George is true, then I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I love Victor Osimhen and will want him to continue to fly high but discipline and self control from unnecessary issues are the things he must possess in other to remain at the top. There are managers who doesn't like to work with players with past track record of media dramas and they do that in other to avoid having same experience with the said players which I think is okay
Osimhen could have been very useful for Arteta. We may be making this comment because they could not make this transfer happen. However, if he had transferred to Arsenal and played successful matches there, we could have thought the opposite. He will be playing for Galatasaray right now and the whole world will be following his performance closely. Because this was a transfer that almost no one could have predicted. Everyone thought he would go to bigger teams than Galatasaray. Naturally, we expect him to score more goals in the Turkish Super League. Maybe he can come back to Arsenal's agenda during the mid-term transfer period.

If this is true then it’s Arteta’s loss. Osimhen could have really helped even the playing field for Arsenal. I can’t say Osimhen has anger issues because I have not seen him act unprofessionally on the pitch. The incident with Finidi George did not seem to me like it was premeditated. At the time, tensions were high and the country was looking for a scape goat to blame for losing the World Cup qualifying matches. We had just lost the AFCON final, and his teammate Alex Iwobi was facing strong cyber bullying from the fans at the time. I think Osimhen did not want to be the next victim and acted out of impulse to clear his name from the rumours that he didn’t want to play for the Super Eagles.

BTW I watched the Nigeria vs Benin match yesterday and I don't see Finidi George coaching anymore Nigeria in that match, so is it possible that the dispute with Osimhen has made him sacked at this time?
Finidi George resigned from the position before Osimhen video came out so Osimhen’s rant did not have anything to do with Finidi quitting his position as Super Eagles manager.
