Chelsea are so lucky to have this defender in their team now,I thought It was Manchester city that were on the verge of finalising the deal,not knowing that the player will end up at Chelsea.The English Premier league this season is full of hijacking of deals from different clubs to another.At first,it was Chelsea's that almost hijacked the deal for Rafinha from Arsenal untill Barcelona hijacked the deal from them.Now it's Cucurella that has been hijacked from Mancity.
City will look for another left back cover to fill up the gaps left by Zinchenko.

Chilwell isn't worried, infact he's happy knowing he'll be given more time to relax and recover properly. Chilwell was looking very rusty in the preseason games as it was showing that he hasn't recovered fully. Cucurella can play as a LB and LWB meaning both him and Chilwell can play together so there shouldn't be a competition there. Thomas Tuchel is very happy with the signing of cucurella as he will fit his formation properly and better than the Alonso flop.

Although the premier league starts today but the transfer market doesn't end until September meaning Chelsea still has time to sign a striker which is the only sector we don't have someone to relay on yet. Rumors has it that Aubameyang could be on his way to the bridge and it seems Thomas Tuchel welcomes the idea to reunit with his former striker. Hopefully we can get him to sign the papers to come become a blue.

Among the all the matches this weekend the one I will be focusing on will be the game between Everton and Chelsea, would like to see how Everton will perform this season after fighting for relegation and losing Richarlison to Tottenham,the have not done any impressive signings to prove or make a point that the don't want to repeat last season occurrence,and in Chelsea case they need to start the season well because is kind of a rebuilding process, I wonder why they have not brought any striker in after losing Lukaku and trying to push Werner away.

Chelsea have spent a really huge sum for signing Marc Cucurella like 65 million euros. The transfer has been completed by them very quickly too by the way. Because Manchester City were also in talks with Brighton even though their first offer was rejected. Maybe the reason is that Manchester City offered much less and didn't want to pay the amount Chelsea offered for him. Now maybe Chelsea would be more willing about selling Marcos Alonso as Barcelona have been after him.

Of course, Nottingham Forest doesn't want to be in just one season in the Premier League. they are already struggling to return to the premier league after a long absence from the main stage.
They're shopping pretty well, and they say there's a list of other players Nottingham Forest is still eyeing.

There is no need to talk about a move for Cristiano Ronaldo from now on. As I said before as well, he isn't leaving the team this season after not being able to find a proper team for himself. However after this season things can change depending on how much successful Manchester United become. They would have to qualify for the Champions League above all else. Erik ten Hag's system had better work out well for them. Otherwise they would start looking for a new striker as Ronaldo would leave.
