It's great to see Everton starting to sign players! Dwight McNeil has joined Everton from Burnley for a five-year contract. The club should not be relegated next season because of this addition. However, I am shocked by this guy's stats from last season. Participated in 38 matches, contributed to one assist but there were no goals scored.

To avoid the threat of relegation they need players who have quality above Dwight McNeil, I don't even see anything special about this player in the last few seasons, this still cannot compensate for the departure of Richarlison who is one of Everton's mainstays. Richarlison's departure will affect Everton next season, and I'm sure they are preparing something to bring in a new striker, after all they have enough funds from the sale of Richarlison to Spurs.

Official!, Finally Luis Suarez has signed his contract with Nacional (his first professional club), it's not revealed how much his transfer value to Nacional will be (maybe we'll see in the next few days). What do you think? Will joining a league that is easier than La Liga will allow Suarez to put on a good performance?
Borussia Dortmund are missing out on the opportunity to bring in this player now, he is not that young and he might end his career at the club the first time he grew up.
His current contract at Nacional only lasts six months with the option of an extension.
This gives a fairly high euphoria for the club from the Uruguayan capital because this is indeed a very good thing even though he is not too young.

I don't think this will lift Everton's performance next season, especially with Dwight McNeil's stats, which were actually not too conspicuous at his previous club.
It only adds players but I still feel the result will be the same.
It is difficult to lift a team that seems to be a bit stingy in spending money but wants something more in terms of performance.

It just depends on himself and also the other players and the coach's strategy. There's no guarantee he can do well in the easier leagues if other players can't contribute much to the team because of his quality. So I think it will be a factor that will determine Suarez's performance later.

I think he will have a good performance at Nacional, because he will play with a strong team in the Uruguayan league. Usually, players who return to their old clubs will be key players there. We can look at Carlos Tevez at Boca Junior as an example.

I don't understand why some Laliga, Serie A or Premier League teams don't offer him a contract. He looks still capable of scoring goals as an experienced striker and he's not done yet. But anyway his age might be the reason a top league team as mentions at the top and therefore they didn't offer him a contract, it makes sense in my opinion.

Age is not a major barrier for world class players like Suarez, have you forgotten that we also have Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic who even now play for big clubs?

Maybe Suarez gets offers from big clubs, but he prefers to play with Nacional. That makes a lot of sense.

I think that makes sense because age is the main factor so no one from the top league wants to sign him apart from Atletico Madrid and Suarez has been a bit obedient to being a goal machine so not many are interested.
Maybe club Nacional is an option in his own country and he can meet more family there, I'm sure Suarez there can perform even better even though there must be a solid squad in it.

This time todd boehley has owned chelsea after he was buying it from abramovich. The fact that if those players are thinking about their future as well. The chelsea club didn't looks so impressive under todd's ownership unlike abramovich when so many big transfer can happen anytime but there was a big different when chelsea was under todd. Barla looks like more promising for the future even when it still in the financial debt.

And Chelsea fans are not in a good mental place right now.
They have sat hopelessly while being forced to watch Barcelona hijack two of their side’s targets.
And for the first time in a long time, I'm not excited about a Chelsea new season
Eight days to the season and no serious signings yet, Chelsea will give us hypertension this year Sad

Many things in the transfer market did not benefit Chelsea, the players who were targeted even mostly chose Barcelona. In fact, from a financial point of view, Chelsea dominates over Barcelona. Turns out it's not all about finances. For example, Chelsea wanted Lewandowski, Rhapinha, Dembele to extend his contract, then Christensen was even free to transfer to Barcelona. Thinking about it so far in the pre-season Barcelona have been lucky with poor finances but still can fulfill the expected squad.

Marina would have handled all of those deals smoothly, who I blame for all of those failed deals is the new Chelsea's owner.
Looking at how they have failed, they will also find it difficult to cope in the Premier League. They found it difficult winning games during the Pre-season. Tuchel made a clear list of players he wanted but not all have been provided for the Chelsea squad. For me, I think Chelsea will find it difficult in the midfield. Defense looking solid but attacking players especially a nine is muchly needed.
They new boards have been poor in transfer and their relationship with the players is not good also,I think there first mistake was sacking abramovich staffs, they would have retained old staffs and take things easy from the Start, once they gain stability then they start stamping there own authority, people like Marina, Peter cech ,etc are too important to Chelsea. Now the season is about a week to resume and they are having issues like this,is definitely going to affect their football.

It seems like Manchester United have a really difficult job to do about their Antony target. Because according to rumours, Ajax have increased their asking price even more now. They want a sum like £84m from Manchester United. This is too big for only one transfer unless it is your only target in the whole transfer window. I know that Erik ten Hag wants to see him in his new team but I don't think that Manchester United board would let him make this signing for a this much high price.
I think with transfer values about £84m most expensive price for Antony and looks Manchester United will not reach agreement, not only with Antony but also have problem with Manchester United how to get deal values for Frankie de Jong transfer because United want with lower values than offering by Barcelona. I think Manchester United have spent much money for getting Antony from Ajax Amsterdam because he has chemistry with Erik Tan Hag on Ajax Amsterdam, he will easy adapt with tactical used on Manchester United, but looks management not really want to spent much money for Antony and will waiting with other chance or Ajax Amsterdam make new negotiation.

Luiz Suarez have gone back to his roots where his football career started. It's quite remarkable to see the top striker back again in Uruguay to play for one of their specific club which happens to be Nacional. Perhaps his time with the club will be Outstanding as he's an experience attacker and can influence his new team. Some fans are already concluding that that would be end of his shining career buy I thinks Suarez didn't sign for Nacional for the money, rather to be happy and help young players go far in football. That's one big team he can achieved afterall, he still have few years to play football.

the italian sports newspaper 'corriere dello sport' reports that juventus turin is close to signing brazilian forward Roberto Firmino.
the transfer fee of €22 million is expected to flow to fc liverpool.

It will probably happen in the near future when Liverpool actually agree on the transfer of this player but maybe they will hold back a bit for the price to be added there.
Currently Firmino's price is actually still around 30 million but indeed seeing this is his last season with Liverpool I don't think Liverpool will hold this player too long now.
As much as I want Firmino to leave for Juventus, surely Klopp isn’t stupid to let the fourth attacker leave in one transfer window and not sign a replacement especially when Diogo Jota has been sidelined due to injury. Liverpool should better find a replacement other the team will be weak next season. Divock Origi, Sane Mane, Minamino and now Firmino gone from the attacking strengths, that’s about 40goals gone. Liverpool should be wise about this Firmino transfer.

the Italian record champion juventus turin continues to court german international forward Timo Werner from fc chelsea. according to the italian 'corriere dello sport' negotiations are currently underway. however, T. Werner would have to accept a pay cut in the event of a transfer...

Juventus looking for the players who can playing together with Dusan Vlahovic and their first option actually is Alvaro Morata but unfortunately Atletico Madrid has decided to keep him in the team so Juventus looking for other players and Timo Werner is their alternative option but Juventus aren't willing to buy him and they attempts to loan Werner from Chelsea and with uncertain situations in Chelsea i think he probably will leave and this transfer will be deal soon

Does Chelsea really dominate Barcelona that much financially these days tho?  Abramovich is being sanctioned due to his close ties with Putin.  And if anything, those players chose Barca prolly because the club is giving better personal terms than Chelsea can.  It's also possible that players are avoiding Chelsea because of the Russian connection.

And maybe it's because Barca's rebuilding phase under Xavi looks more promising.

Yeah, it will not happened,

https://www.eurosport.com/football/transfers/2022-2023/cristiano-ronaldo-transfer-atletico-madrid-president-calls-move-for-man-utd-forward-practically-impo_sto9061964/story.shtml

many reasons that those rumors will only be just a rumors, first of all Atletico does not need Ronaldo. They already have Morata, Griezmann, and Joao Felix, their attacking is already so strong.
Moreover, I don't think Atletico want to pay his high salary.

Yeah I have heard about it. Ronaldo is most likely staying at Manchester United in this transfer window. Atletico Madrid president has refuted the rumours regarding them to sign Ronaldo. In addition I agree that they already have three centre-forwards in the team. Even if they play with a two-forward system they would still have an alternative striker among the subs. However Morata might leave the team to join Juventus but this isn't a big probability for now.

It's looking obvious that no big team wants to take Cristiano out of that Manchester United for now
It's better to stay at United, help them compete for the Europa League title, and help Erik rekindle United's lost glory.
Missing a season is not a problem. Nobody will catch up.

It is actually very clear that big teams have to think about three things if they want to get Ronaldo out of Manchester United at this time, first about his salary and the second is about transfer fees which are not like ordinary players and the last is Ronaldo who is no longer young. Maybe because of these three things, there are no big teams that want to remove Ronaldo from Manchester United at this time.
The team that has been linked with Cristiano Ronaldo has always denied that it is not true that they want Cristiano Ronaldo. I think it's the work of news stations that are rumors of players without any clear basis.
I don't know why they don't want Ronaldo to be part of their club. The last option for Ronaldo is to stay at Old Trafford.

there is news that Ronaldo wants to ask the club to terminate his contract with him. which means it will make Ronaldo a free transfer player. but I think the club's considerations will be heavy if they decide on Ronaldo's contract. That's because the United coach himself said he still needed Ronaldo and his big plans at United.
So far negotiations between Ronaldo and United's management are still ongoing. The latest news is also Ronaldo is willing to get a pay cut for clubs that are interested in him. as long as the club is playing for the UCL. the only reason Ronaldo wanted to leave United was that he didn't get into the UCL.
