Any other offer from the another top club is pretty much more appealing compared to Manchester United offered. For some reason, De Jong doesnt want to move with no clear reasoning on that although Barcelona has explicitly shown their interest on selling him even after stating that he needs to take a pay cut for him to stay at the club.
It seems that De Jong wanted to go to either Bayern or Chelsea, but Bayern does not need him, and Chelsea has not yet made a direct offer. He does not want to leave Barcelona for obvious reasons - this is the club he dreamed of playing at + they owe him a lot of money + he already has a valid contract and a great salary. What's the point of him leaving? I hope he will stand on his own terms until the very end and will not agree to a pay cut.
United was the team that had the most chance but they already got some players. If United wanted to spend that kind of money, it would have been the perfect fit because they have his own manager back on Ajax days there, and he would know how to use him. This will in return cause the team to not have the most optimum player, but they have enough and they will not worry about it anymore.

Chelsea is not a serious bidder, they have a new owner who is "willing to spend" for many many many players, they have 10 pages of "potential players" they want to buy and we all know they will not get all of them. Bayern already spent so much this year, not seeing how that could happen.

Manchester United are ready to prepare a loan deal for one of their player, Alex Telles. The contract will just last for just a season with Sevilla and it doesn't include a buy option. Alex Telles will travel to Sevilla to undergo main section of his medical tests on Thursday. It's a good move for Alex as he looks to seek more playing experience outside Manchester United, and he's going extra mile just get fit and consistent in games.
If this information is real, it's a goodnews for Telles. Many players go on loan and learn from there and they normally have good chances of recovery next season after the loan. It is unfortunate for Telles as he didn't find a place in Erik's team. He didn't impress in the pre season and obviously everyone was given chance to prove. I expected him to do same as Dalot did, it could be that it is not yet his time. I wish him success.

Now Chelsea has their fingers in the transfer market. Chelsea have agreed to sign a 18 years old midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa. There is a doubt in my mind as to whether his decision to join Chelsea was the right one. However, I wish him the best of luck. Come and fight for your place.
Even though he is still young but he already has a fairly high selling value of almost 15 million pounds, Chukwuemeka is one of the future football stars because his performances have been quite slick and he is also a versatile midfielder when playing for aston villa, recruiting young players will be a good investment for chelsea especially players like Chukwuemeka are quite talented players and have great potential in the future, but I think the recruitment of Chukwuemeka at this time can not be a solution for chelsea for this season, because after all chelsea still needs some senior and experienced players to can fill some of the positions that have been left by Lukaku, rudiger and also Christensen.

Chelsea is now quite different from chelsea under Abramovich ownership before, this season chelsea continues to try to bring in new players but for some reason many of these players seem reluctant to join chelsea, unlike when the Abramovich era had chelsea, chelsea at that time seemed to be a destination for star players to join and it's not even difficult for chelsea to get their target players in the transfer market, throughout the transfer market this season started, chelsea has actually lost some of their important players but chelsea has only got one new player at this time, do you think chelsea prestige at this time has this fallen or maybe the current owner of chelsea is a stingy person and a lot of business calculations?
Changed owner make Chelsea looks drastically different with many player not agree and reject offering for joining Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel loss many player after not agree for joining with Chelsea and looks without Abramovich make difficult to get player. I think later will change depending if Chelsea success get trophy and make all player will interested become Chelsea squad. But not blame how failed Chelsea on transfer window and several time taken by Barcelona from Raphinha until last recruitment Jules Koundé most priority Barcelona than Chelsea have long time rumors but not success.

18 years young goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina goes to Chelsea FC. He comes from America - Chicago Fire. He is in America is a great talent and now he gets training to maybe become a superstar. He costs up to 15 million euros including bonuses and from 01.01.2023 he is in the squad at Chelsea. Previously, Real Madrid was also interested in Slonina, there was an agreement... or probably nothing in june this year. At Chelsea there are 3 goalkeepers and the youngest is currently 27 years, so it was time for a talent.

Source: https://twitter.com/ChicagoFire/status/1554550167331823616

It is always exciting to have young talent on the team. I have always liked those clubs which constantly think about bringing in a young talented goalkeeper and working with them to make that goalkeeper one of the world's elite.

Chelsea has a really solid chance of doing something like that here. He had 10 clean sheets in the last season. That is quite remarkable for a goalkeeper who is only 18 years old. Chelsea will be able to work well with him if they put a proper development plan in place for him. I think Gabriel Slonina really needs to work on his positioning.

I wonder what Chelsea was doing to have wait up to this moment before pushing for some transfer options. They've been really behind in the transfer market and i feel it's going to be a difficult season for the blues and its going to be all on Thomas Tuchel as his been very selective in the transfer market.
For Carney Chukuemeka, I think Chelsea is an excellent choice. Its left for him to come up with his best performance as, Chelsea is sure to give him the exposure he needs in the Premier League and Champions league if he could manage to earn some playing time.

Even though i think that Manchester United is not a top address in European football anymore since a few years it could still be a good decision for De Jong to go their in my opinion. First of all Barcelona has such big financial problems that they had to sell another part of their TV rights just in order to be able to register Lewandowski and Kounde. As far as i know De Jong already waived salary in the last season so Barca could still be operational and now in the coming season he is supposed to get that salary on top, that is why Barca wants him to leave or that he is waiving salary again, which is a very shady move of Barca in my opinion.
At Manchester United he could at least be sure that he gets his money and maybe he can play in the Champions League next season.

De Jong already said he doesn’t go join Manchester United
Frenkie de Jong is only willing to move to two clubs, the two clubs are Bayern Muenchen or Chelsea
And Chelsea is indeed scheduled to buy a new midfielder this summer
Thomas Tuchel feels his team's midfield is now lacking strength and Tuchel has asked management
to bring the midfielder to Stamford Bridge

Barca is the broke club. Leave them they didn’t respect you, Frenkie!

Georginio Wijnaldum is about to sign with Roma. The Giallorossi and PSG are finalizing a loan agreement. In the coming days, the midfielder is anticipated to take a flight to Italy to complete a medical and sign a contract.
Roma and PSG have agreed on the basic terms of their contract, which includes a €7 million buyout option. Next season, the Giallorossi will cover 65% of his salary. He will sign a two-year deal and receive €4.5 million annually if he stays in the Italian city.

Reportedly Roma did not agree to the obligation to buy after the contract ended Roma want it as an option maybe yes, maybe not
Georginio Wijnaldum himself reportedly sacrificed his salary and bonuses at PSG in order to move to Roma because he didn't get the chance to play last season.

Maybe this is his signal to the management that they are not active enough in the transfer market? However, I can understand all sides and the head coach and management who do not want to overpay for the players. But on the other hand, when there are so many active players on the market who inflate the price, what is the way out?

according to 'sky sports' west ham united has apparently reached an agreement with french club lille osc after tough negotiations on a transfer fee for Amadou Onana, which is said to be €40 million including bonuses. the defensive midfielder, who lille signed for €7 million from german second league club hamburger sv a year ago, is currently still contracted to the ligue 1 club until summer 2026.

This is a really good deal. But if I am correct, they will still have to agree on personal terms with the player. His last season was not too bright. He played 32 matches and scored one goal, got two yellow cards, and one red card against his name. I really wonder if €40 million is not too much for this player.

But I also know that statistics are not going to say everything about a certain player. Because he is a defensive midfielder. So it is a bit unfair to expect too many goals from him. But I was expecting a lot more assist. At least more than zero which was the number of assists against him in the last season.

Manchester City are maintaining their search of a left-back now. In case they don't manage to sign Cucurella their next target is going to be Sergio Gomez who is playing for Anderlecht now. Sergio Gomez is also a really decent left-back too. However we don't have any idea if he would be able to adapt to the league and Manchester City both. Cucurella is already here and he has proven his quality to the teams in this league already. I think they should go for him at all costs.
City must compete with chelsea. Chelsea was trying to hijack cucurelly and it seems like that city has given up to sign cucurella from brighton. I saw that if chelsea wants to pay more for him. it seems like there's no chance for cucurelly to go to the city. I think that the chance for cucurelly to go to the city was less compared with chelsea. First offer from chelsea already rejected by brighton.

Chelsea seems hard to win any trophy this season because their squad looks not very convincing. Even Tuchel said that they are not ready to face the competition. Since they have no strong CF, Vardy isn't a bad solution for their attacking line.
I wonder why Thomas Tuchel would make such statement , are they not in the same transfer market business with other clubs?, what were they doing when FC Barcelona highjacked Lewandowski and Kounde from their hand, Please I don't want him to start giving excuses when he had the opportunity to sign more quality players that could help the team this season , he must be ready to fight for the tittle this season come rain come shine he's been to get his team ready for any competition.

I don't see any way for Frenkie de Jong to sign for Manchester United at this very moment. Because he is clearly wishing to play in the Champions League and Manchester United can't give this to him this season obviously. Manchester United's problematic season has cost them really much in the transfer window also. Erik ten Hag's existence might be seen as an advantage for them but I don't think that it will still be enough. Frenkie de Jong would agree terms with only a team that is competing in the Champions League in my opinion.

I think that de jong has been making so many clarifications about that already published by various press release if he was rejecting offer by MU. it's clear that if he will not be going to the MU anymore. Let's focus with the new rumour about he may still stay on barcelona rather than going out from there before the season will be starting. A new contract already made but he has not agreed with the new contract as his salary was decreasing.
Looks like the wind about De Jong is no longer blowing to Manchester United, but has moved to Chelsea. According to The Athletic journalist report, Chelsea are starting to seriously pursue De Jong from Barcelona, reportedly the two clubs have been in talks over the transfer of De Jong. Chelsea are very optimistic that they can get De Jong, because Barcelona intends to sell De Jong in order to save the club finances. Selling De Jong will reduce Barcelona financial burden, and avoid La Liga salary cap rules, especially since Barcelona has just made many top signings. Chelsea will try to get ahead of Manchester United for De Jong, as they need a suitable player amid the uncertainty over the future of N'Golo Kante who is entering his final year next season, and De Jong is seen as a suitable replacement.

In a market filled with bloated valuations there's a transfer happening below the radar which I feel can become one of the best ones this year.
Sampdoria is getting rid of Damsgaard and have accepted a 17 million pounds offer from Brentford. I feel that he will bring huge value to their team and I really think he's a great player in the making - with potential to play for top clubs.
He has missed the majority of last year due to a thigh injury so I guess that Sampdoria has decided to cash in. They had bigger expectations from him - but I do feel that Brentford will be his jumping board to better things.

i think Fabrizio Romano tweeted that the fee is estimated to be £12.5 million with add-ons, i think with that kind of money it is a decent deal, he did miss a lot of matches as he was not fit to play in the last season,

but, that’s why he is going to be more motivated because he has a point to prove
