A Proud Father of Twin Girls 👧 👧
It preferably that Victor Osimhen moved to Galatasaray than he remained in Napoli where he's presence is no longer valued, that would even be a bad case for the young star because, I doubt how he will get fit to play if he's being left on the bench until next summer transfer. Galatasaray is a better option club to join in my opinion right now than moving to the Saudi professional league that has less attention and doesn't play in the European league competition, here the likelihood of other European clubs coming for him is higher if he continues his scoring of goals.
Was Osimhen playing for passion he had for football or he's simply playing for money? Playing for Napoli brought limelight to his football career, he bagged huge amounts of goals and it was clearly noticeable that he was the main striker in the club. I would rather blame Napoli board especially the media sector for jeopardizing and toiling with Victor Osimhen image on the media which is always finding fun in deriving mistakes and errors from the player in question, they've continue to bashed their player with Napoli official account and this have been a big slap on Victor Osimhen reputation as a player. So it's clearly not his fault if he's no longer showing greenlight to stay and trying his best to leave up to the fullest expectations.

Consequently, Saudi clubs did push to grab his signature but it was mission impossible. He tried so hard to fit in but he guessed he was wrong and had to make appropriate decisions for himself. Galatasaray signed Victor on a one year loan deal. This is jjdt a deal that will keep the Nigerian busy for a year because staying at Napoli will definitely mean waste of time. Victor Osimhen made the right choice from the view of most audience, we should watch how everything will play out for the player.

Either with Lukaku or not Napoli will flop this season and season after next and they will never make anything meaningful in that club until they pay for their sins. I'm very sure Osimhen wouldn't make the same mistake he made by continue a sign up additional contract and stay with Napoli till 2027. That club suck and I unfollw them, many Nigerians were so piss with their treatment towards Osimhen, they are just waiting for them to make a mistake before the next banter will start, it's now  personal for everyone.

I see a lot of people are complaining about his move from Napoli to settled with Galatasaray instead of going to Saudi but many people are not aware that it was the same Napoli that void Osimhen move to Al Ahli and Chelsea weren't helping, the offer was too small when he is still on his peak time of 25 years, I'm very sure new offers will come by January window and I hope he leaves when opportunity comes again. Napoli will sure regret what the did.

What? Sancho is in fifth place? then who is above him? Huh

Then if Sancho is in fifth place then how does he see Rashford or Antony, haven't both players played very badly since last season? I still don't believe this reason and the rest is indeed a matter of Manchester United's dislike of Sancho.
Of all United wingers I don’t think Sancho should be ranked fifth because performance wise he is way ahead of Rashford and Antony. Maybe to them it’s not about how the player performs but the relationship between the player and the management and with what happened with Sancho i think it’s obvious why the management will pick Rashford and Antony over Sancho despite struggling with their performances.

Leaving was the best thing for the player and the club because it will be difficult to rebuild a solid relationship and it will only bring back Sancho’s career, sitting on the bench will make things worse for him and will start to fall off even before he knows it.

I guessed with this no one will have any right to critise Sancho from leaving Manchester United while it was stated that he already apologised to the coach and he was accepted into the team, it is now obvious that Ten Hag didn't had plans on using him this season if he was actually his fifth option and this was the main reason he had issues with Ten Hag earlier before his loan to Dortmund.

Though the sad thing is that coaches sometimes have priority that will cost them something good which I don't really know why, this is from the fact that Enzo Maresca decided to loan Chalobah rather than Badiashile who we is a better player even when it was obvious Badiashile won't offer anything much this season during the pre season matches, see all the costly mistakes leading to goals he has caused already

At a time, as a Nigerian, I no longer understand the issue with Victor Osimhen. I don't know if it's about
1. Passion
2. Career
3. Or money.
He made a great mistake by signing for Napoli again last season. But I became more confused when;
1. Saudi club was rejected
2. Chelsea deal failed
3. PSG didn't work
Why Galatasary and how manage?

Osimhen extended his contract with a big salary increase, at that moment it was not a mistake, he could not see the future.
1. He did not move to the Saudi club because of Napoli's position.
2. He did not move to Chelsea because of his refusal to reduce his salary.
3. PSG was not interested.

Galatasaray is a normal option - at least he will have game practice.

The problem is that Galatasaray cannot afford to bring him in because his price and salary are too expensive, we know Osimhen wants the same salary as Napoli offers so every club will consider the request. In this case, Napoli are also to blame for disrupting the transfer plans to the Saudi Pro League even though initially both clubs had agreed but Napoli asked for additional fees so that in the end the transfer was cancelled and if I was on the side of the Saudi club then I would do the same thing, especially when find other offers at a lower fee.
I am also surprised that the Turkish side was willing to cover the high salary of Victor Osimhen. I just hope he proves that he is worth the amount. He should reward them with hard work, discipline, dedication and trophies. Napoli will have themselves to blame if they finally fail to make any money from his transfer in the future. The club would have gotten a big deal from the Saudi side but they lost it because of greed.

Now Victor Osimhen officially plays for Galatasaray with loan option, meanwhile for the salary we don't know whether Galatasaray pays the full amount or 50% from Napoli. This is the perfect time for Osimhen to prove Napoli made a mistake when they let him go and Osimhen has another chance to catch the eye of elite clubs when he plays in the Europa League. If Osimhen can play consistently in the Turkish League then Osimhen will regain his market value of 120 million which means his potential move to the elite league is getting closer.
Osimhen earns about €10m per season in Napoli and the agreement is that Galastataray will cover his present salary in full for the one year he plays there. There are reports that Napoli will want to still cash out from the striker's transfer. He might be persuaded to extend his contract by one year, if they don't he might leave the club freely since his current contract ends next year.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
in my opinion, however, this will be the end of his career, he is a highly overrated player who won't go far if he doesn't change his mind, the big English clubs don't want him and they do well, he is truly an unpleasant player with no personality who puts himself in shows only for his unpleasant TV appearances, if he continues like this he will end up forgotten as he is already doing (Galatasarai won't even play the Champions League) totally childish player and ADL was right to put him on the bench
Going to Galatasaray is Osimhen way to escape from Napoli even though it was only 4 months (other rumors say 12 months) he was loaned but rather than being silent and not playing there was no other choice. Moreover Osimhen was a little selfish because he didn't want to lower his salary, several negotiations ended at the same point without any clarity. Napoli took a firm stance and gave him a difficult choice, both parties took the middle path. I'm sure Galatasaray is not Osimhen final destination, he hopes to return after all the situations have calmed down.

Reading resources are here
That is indeed Osimhen a little selfish because the salary does not want to be lowered, but this is a good solution to join Galatasaray even though I don't know how much salary he gets but indeed rather than him being silent for 6 months it is better to join another team to show his quality.

Galatasaray may be a temporary intermediary club after that when there is a club that wants to sign him he may accept the offer, or it could be that he will be happy to stay at the club now even though there is no purchase option.

It will be the most foolish thing If Osimhen do not agree to the terms of Galatasaray, in this he has been placed with the best opportunity of taking him out of being idle and benched in a team where he was once the big bird. Osimhen did so much for Napoli, everyone saw his influence as the top striker for the team even scoring both unbelievable goals and at last being treated like one average player, I hope Lukaku becomes the better version of Osimhen or nothing will be different from what they did to Osimhen also happen to him.
Osimhen can still have a move to the Premier League or any other competitive one if only he can work on his ratings, once he becomes the topic of discussion based on his outstanding contribution to his new team then he can raise every possibility of having the option of moving to the Premier league.
He did already agree and the transfer has been completed. It has been announced just hours ago, but still I think what a downfall that was for a striker who was supposed to be the next European superstar in a team like Real Madrid. Now he is playing for Galatasaray Istanbul because he is left without any other options. Going to be interesting to see for how long he will be playing in the Turkish League, but I somehow can't imagine that it will be for very long.

But as it seems there are some interesting details involved. Napoli wants Osimhen to first extends his contract with Napoli for one more year until 2027 and then they let him go for a zero loan fee if Galatasaray covers his salary. What a weird transfer is that? Cheesy That's a lot of drama, but the best that could happen to him now I guess as he is still guaranteed his salary.

Napoli says that if he returned from the loan period next summer, their negotiation position would be really bad because there would be only one year of contract duration left. That is why he first had to agree to extend his contract until 2027. Very interesting and forward looking move by Napoli.

I know that Osimhen has already agreed to join Galatasaray on loan. And that is probably a very good decision that he has made. Because staying at Napoli was only going to be bad for him.

By the way, one thing I wanted to mention is that if I recall correctly, he wanted to make sure that Chelsea got a lot of money by selling him and that’s why he was not pushing to get transferred to another club. So where is the love from Chelsea? And how can a player be so stupid if that is actually true? He should have remembered that a club is always going to make money one way or another. He has to think about his career first. I hope he will be able to join Galatasaray on loan. And if that means he has to extend his contract with Chelsea, he should do it as fast as possible.

Osimhen's future has been decided! He is going to Galatasaray on a loan deal.  Wink

I still can't believe how this is happening right now. But it is.  Grin  As he couldn't reach an agreement with Al-Ahli, this was the only option left for him. Otherwise he was going to be left out of squad for certain.
I really appreciate Galatasaray on this agreement. It is a very smart move. They were criticized because of not being active enough in the transfer market this summer. But now they are about to make a really huge signing...
Osimhen looks happy in Galatasaray and the fans are happy to receive him. Tbh I was worried Osimhen wouldn't play until January and at the last moment even suggested he took the Saudi deal. Galatasaray isn’t what I wanted but at this shows his commitment to wanting to play football in Europe. It is not just about the money for Osimhen, if it was he would have taken the semi-retirement deal to play in the Saudi Pro. Playing at Galatasaray will keep him visible in Europe and keep the interest of big clubs in acquiring his signature.
Thankfully Osimhen was still able to play in Europe and Galatasaray lured him on loan although there was no buyout clause after that.

I don't know which one is right... On the other hand the media said Osimhen wanted a high salary when Chelsea came... On the other hand Napoli want a high price and this is not included in Chelsea's high purchase, so which one is right?

But it seems to be true that Osimhen wants to stay in Europe to play, with Al Ahli's offer not giving Osimhen the green light.
I just hope Osimhen finds favor after joining Galatasaray because it is way better than being off Napoli's team list and be without play time for a whole season.
He seems confident so far in the choices he is making as regards his football career and am sure that at the right time, the right club with the right wages will sign him without stress.

If Osimhen produces good results there is a chance he could be made permanent next season.
But if the quality of the game he is aiming for is not up to expectations then his career will be further dimmed as a loan like this would not benefit him.
Just wanted to add some details about his contract as mentioned about. I posted this on another thread, but some reports suggest that there is a clause in his loan contract that Osimhen can leave in January as long as there are interest from 10 big clubs (including but not limited to Chelsea, Arsenal, etc). Basically it suggest that he's not considering to stay in Galatasaray for long term. Some suggest that this clause suggest Osimhen believes he's very good footballer and won't drop his level for the next 6 months or so. Whether that is true or not, he certainly has some confidence. This is really a big surprise for a rising star player like Victor Osimhen. I think this player really deserves to play in big teams. but now he has to be thrown into a club that has failed to even progress further in the Champions League. But going to Galatasaray might be better because Galatasaray will play in the European League. Meanwhile, Napoli will only play in the domestic league. So I probably can't call this a setback. but I see that this is not the result we expected regarding Osimhen's transfer, which often becomes a trending topic that we discuss here. However, I think if Osimhen can show high quality at Galatasaray then big clubs will come to him and will try to get his signature. Galatsaray is not a bad choice. But I'm sure we all hope for a bigger club for this player. Because this player really needs greater experience at a bigger club.

Seriously it is disheartening to see the current 8th ranked best player in the world by Balon D’Or and CAF best player of the season been treated this way, first I blamed him for not taking Chelsea deal but later when the heard Chelsea were offering him a deep pay cut and Napoli didn’t want balance up the rest then I knew he was right for refusing it. The deal to Al Ahli was the right one for me though but he didn’t want to leave Europe and that’s the mistake he made if you ask me. Take the damn money and comeback later mate, there are players that have gone to the league and comeback to European.

Now to Galatsaray I think it’s a great opportunity to actually showcase his talent and make himself available for the January transfer. Sitting on the bench or playing with u21s will have been a big mistake, Galatsraya are a big club in the Turkish league so he can still have impact on the game and hopefully get to sign for a bigger club by the end of the loan

Osimhen will be making a smart move by going to Galatasaray because his contract will have a termination clause in January. So he will be able to go to the EPL at the end of January, which he can't do for now because of the costs. Osimhen's price is too high in my opinion and European clubs don't want to pay too much for him. As a result, they are negotiating hard for his price.

Chelsea's salary cut is not out of disrespect for him but out of concern for Chelsea's financial situation. The only place where Osimhen's star will shine is in the EPL. I can't wait to see him in the EPL in January.

The last option is good for all parties, not only for Osimhen but also for Napoli. if no agreement is made, then it has the potential to harm many parties. now Osimhen plays for Galatasaray, he can return to a big club after his loan period ends. so too with Napoli, they can focus more on their current team. talking about Lukaku, honestly I don't have high expectations whether he will be able to show his performance with good performance. but considering he has a close relationship with Conte, he should be able to be Napoli's need for a center forward. after all, Serie A is no longer a foreign league for him.

By the way, I'm not sure if next season Osimhen's price will remain high. although in Romano's report Napoli's option to extend until 2027, but still the drama that occurred has the potential to lower the value of his transfer price. unless, if Osimhen is able to improve his performance with Galatasaray.

I didn't expect Osimhen to dock in the Turkish Super League with Galatasaray, of course the choice is very situational, but I can't understand why he rejected the loan offer submitted by Chelsea earlier. We know that the Turkish Super League transfer window is still open until September 18, Chelsea ran out of time to negotiate, Galatasaray came to take advantage of the situation and offered an alternative solution for Osimhen. It is very clear that this will benefit all parties, especially Osimhen himself, this is the last chance to leave Napoli so as not to be frozen.

On the other hand, I predict that Osimhen can adapt quickly, and maintain his performance with Galatasaray, so that his market value will not decrease drastically. This is because Serie A is more competitive than the Turkish Super League, so if Osimhen gets the opportunity to play regularly and avoid injury, the Nigerian striker seems able to meet expectations. Apart from all that, I think this deal is only temporary, and Osimhen has the potential to move permanently to another club when the January transfer window opens.

I was reading the story that was created in Naples with Osimhen, the words of the brother-in-law were these: "Thank you ADL and Conte for excluding him, he made Napoli toxic!", he accused Napoli of being toxic when he was the one in the first place having wanted to leave immediately, the club rightly moved to find a replacement, it was his decision to go away from the squad since he was looking for another team and now he's complaining, it doesn't seem right to me!
He thought that he's Mbappe. Roll Eyes

He forget that he's just an one season wonder, not like Mbappe who always consistent become the best player in PSG for six years. Osimhen has a playing victim character, this is not good, I think he might end up like Paul Pogba or Neymar, he know that he was one of the best player, but not want to be consistent anymore.

Now Osimhen need to make decision, unfortunately there aren't many teams wants him.
The fact that no team wants him should show him that he is not a great player at all. In the end he will leave of course, either the team will sell him (most likely) for whatever price offered, or he will just leave when his contract ends, but we will see him not do that greatly for a long time without a doubt.

I think it needs to be pointed out that a loan deal until winter break is still possible for him as well, not going to be that crazy because he is not going to play at Napoli anyway, so a loan deal wouldn't be the end of the world. I know a six month loan is not ideal in most cases, and I understand that it may not be a good thing for most of the people, but it's clear that we are going to see him not play at Napoli, so instead of just sitting at home all day, going to a team, even if just for training purposes, would be better than not being in the squad. That should point out any mistakes or issues that Napoli has, it would make them better.

I never expected this happening anymore. Well, this is far better than playing with the academy all throughout this first phase of the this season. Chelsea should have signed him but they fail to realize that he is more like that kind of player similar to Didier Drogba. The offer from them was honestly was to poor for such a quality player.
At least they'll be in the European Competitions which is far better than playing for Chelsea. I'm not so certain about it if they're involved in Champions League Competition this season but if they're, it's a good upgrade for Victor Oshime in the next six months. Galatasaray is also the biggest club in Turkey. Godspeed to Victor Oshime!

Of course it is way better than rotting there without playing for Napoli's main team. Chelsea, Liverpool and PSG all wanted to sign Osimhen. But there was a common problem for all of them, the asking price. Napoli wanted his release clause to be bought out which was 130 million euros. All these teams found this amount too much naturally and stepped down.

Mourinho says Osimhen has a lot of similarities to Didier Drogba and he thinks he can even be better than him if he continues to improve. Galatasaray are competing in the Europa League. Osimhen will aim to make capital out of them obviously.  Smiley

Small note: Osimhen's updated release clause after this loan is said to be 80 million euros.  Wink

What I definitely didn't expect was Osimhen going on loan to Galatasaray, he had so many opportunities, even with Saudi Arabia where I think he could have gotten better terms, but he ultimately decided to go to Galatasaray, which also lost its place in the Champions League. Perhaps his offers weren't as rosy as they showed us in the news, and his high transfer value doesn't give him the opportunity to go to another team, so he has to go on loan to another team, but I think loaning is not the best choice for a player. I would like to hear Osimhen's opinion on why Galatasaray is better than Chelsea.

Don't you think you are too harsh on Victor Osimhen? He is not overrated because he is hardworking and selfless. Did you watch Victor play for Napoli two seasons ago, he was a goal machine. His selfless performance in the African Cup of Nations puts him far above most strikers. He is a player that is willing to take risks for the success of his club and country.

His performance was affected by injuries which made him miss some games. His relationship with the club also suffered because of how he was treated by Napoli media after he missed a penalty. He might have some anger management issues, but hope he has learnt his lessons.

Galatasaray are lucky at the end of the day, been able to get the former Napoli star Man to sign for the club on a one year loan deal with appropriate deal set out. I would say this is huge for Galatasaray, and also shocking from Victor Osimhen, unable or he failed to play for the EPL side and turning down a huge offer from Saudi Arabia. Perhaps Victor Osimhen have reasons best known to him because there's actually more for the Nigeria international to accomplish. He's a brave player with enchanced abilities, he knows the prospects of his positions on the pitch and knows how to key in.
