A club shouldn't depend on two or three strikers, they need more than that. Okan Buruk needs to get a new striker after Mauro Icardi got injured. I don't think is a luxury considering his quality and the projected impact he would have on the team. Michy Batshuayi, Kerem or Icardi, shouldn't leave because Osimhen is just on loan for one season. He might get big offers if he shines in Turkey and leaves.

The more options the better but having four strikers would make the team fatter as they should be able to buy other players in different positions.
Mauro Icardi’s injury does affect the team as he has great experience as a striker but every team should have options if this happens.
This loan would be a good move for Galatasaray as it would add more firepower to the front line to make it more dangerous for the team’s needs.

If Osimhen produces good results there is a chance he could be made permanent next season.
But if the quality of the game he is aiming for is not up to expectations then his career will be further dimmed as a loan like this would not benefit him.

It is said that Galatasaray has added Victor Osimhen to its squad on loan. In fact, Osimhen is expected to be in Istanbul late at night. It is not official, but many reporters in Turkey confirmed this situation.
He will definitely contribute to Galatasaray, but there is Icardi and Batshuayi. I think Osimhen would be too luxurious.
If it is true, it means Kerem and Icardi can leave the team.

I'd rather keep Icardi instead of letting him leave our club. We could use the two strikers with him and Osimhen. And he will help us do gegenpressing against our opponent by playing with 3-5-2. If we play with two strikers, then the scheme will look like this.

But we can also stick to the 4-4-2 to add more depth to our defence.

The question that haunts my mind is this: Napoli continues in the Champions League. Galatasaray will take part in the UEFA Europa League. Why would Osimhen make such a choice?

FYI, Osimhen has been excluded from Napoli's main squad; that's the reason he left Napoli, then joined us. Also, we cover his salary this season.

After failing to bid for Oshimen and Vinicius Jr Al Ahli have recruited another player from the Premier League Ivan Toney, he has officially left the Premier League to join the Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli he ended his career in the European league, but the good news is he will get a fantastic salary at Al Ahli every week this is a good opportunity considering his age is getting older, it is not surprising that players who no longer have hope in the European League decide to move to another league that will benefit their old age later.

in my opinion, however, this will be the end of his career, he is a highly overrated player who won't go far if he doesn't change his mind, the big English clubs don't want him and they do well, he is truly an unpleasant player with no personality who puts himself in shows only for his unpleasant TV appearances, if he continues like this he will end up forgotten as he is already doing (Galatasarai won't even play the Champions League) totally childish player and ADL was right to put him on the bench
Going to Galatasaray is Osimhen way to escape from Napoli even though it was only 4 months (other rumors say 12 months) he was loaned but rather than being silent and not playing there was no other choice. Moreover Osimhen was a little selfish because he didn't want to lower his salary, several negotiations ended at the same point without any clarity. Napoli took a firm stance and gave him a difficult choice, both parties took the middle path. I'm sure Galatasaray is not Osimhen final destination, he hopes to return after all the situations have calmed down.

His current move to Galatasaray is one solution for him to be able to continue to maintain his performance in playing after his move to the PSG  failed and he also refused to move to the Arab league, what happened to Osimhen is a very complicated thing and I think we can't blame anyone regarding this transfer remembers that each party have high egoism, Osimhen from the start wanted to move to PSG and Napoli had rejected two offers made by PSG to buy Osimhen previously, two fantastic offers had been rejected by Napoli but instead Napoli accepted the offer from Al Ahli and clearly that is not what Osimhen wants at this time.

His loan to Galatasaray would be the right solution for now rather than him having to rest at home after he didn't get a place in Conte's squad, in my opinion his move to Galatasaray is just a stepping stone because in his loan contract there is a unique clause stated namely that Osimhen can ask for his loan it to stopped when Napoli received an offer from another club to bring him in permanently and there were 10 clubs specified in his clause, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Bayern, apart from that, Napoli has lowered Osimhen current release clause from 130 to 75 million euros.

Chelsea again reduced the quota of players who were not included in Enzo Maresca plans, this time Angelo Gabriel was successfully sold to Al Nassr on a permanent basis. Since being brought in from Santos in July 2023, Angelo Gabriel has never played for Chelsea because in the last summer transfer window he was immediately loaned to Strasbourg. Chelsea made a profit of 8 million euros from the sale of Angelo Gabriel, who was brought in from Santos for 15 million euros and is now being sold back to Al Nassr for 23 million euros.

Now Chelsea has managed to release as many as 20 players, although it has managed to reduce the club's burden with players that have almost reached 50 players, but Chelsea still suffers a lot of losses because some of the players are sold for less than the price when they were bought. Enzo Maresca is also still having difficulty developing Chelsea into a club that is able to compete in the top four, perhaps Chelsea player transfers will continue in the January transfer market or Enzo Maresca position will be threatened due to failing to meet the expectations of the club owner who has spent a lot of money to bring in several quality players.
This is one of those rare cases where, after selling a player, Bowley and Chesley made a profit rather than a loss, as is the case with most other deals.
In general the Saudi league had a great transfer week and in the past 7 days not only Angelo Gabriel came there but also Joao Cancelo, Ivan Touni, Marcos Leonardo, Steven Bergwijn and now the Saudi league looks very interesting and promising project and at the moment apparently the strategy of the Saudi league has changed and now they buy not superstars like Ronaldo or Benzema but more average, reliable and cheaper players like Aubameyang, Touni, Cancelo and other players from the best European leagues.

Let's see how Osimhen's game develops at Galatasaray. He should be able to appear strong and prove that he is not finished yet. maybe he regrets extending his contract with Napoli and not choosing several offers from big clubs last season when he was at the peak of his performance bringing Napoli to the Serie A title.
Osimhen can. He is a good striker who has shown his quality on the field. Maybe Serie A and Super Lig are different, but that will not have a big effect on Osimhen.
Usually, a player like Osimhen will be a player who will have a long list of fans after leaving the club that made his name big. In Turkey, he will be a new idol along with Icardi.
What Napoli did if it really disappointed Osimhen, then they will regret it.
I'm sure they will now follow his adventure in the Turkish league closely. Because they also want him to be sold for a high transfer fee during the mid-season transfer period. I think they should have stayed in the team and ensured his adaptation to the team because he is a very high-quality player. However, they must have written Osimhen off. I don't think this makes any sense. If you have a player like that, you should use him.

Osimhen's future has been decided! He is going to Galatasaray on a loan deal.  Wink

https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1830617240758284610
I still can't believe how this is happening right now. But it is.  Grin  As he couldn't reach an agreement with Al-Ahli, this was the only option left for him. Otherwise he was going to be left out of squad for certain.
I really appreciate Galatasaray on this agreement. It is a very smart move. They were criticized because of not being active enough in the transfer market this summer. But now they are about to make a really huge signing...
Osimhen looks happy in Galatasaray and the fans are happy to receive him. Tbh I was worried Osimhen wouldn't play until January and at the last moment even suggested he took the Saudi deal. Galatasaray isn’t what I wanted but at this shows his commitment to wanting to play football in Europe. It is not just about the money for Osimhen, if it was he would have taken the semi-retirement deal to play in the Saudi Pro. Playing at Galatasaray will keep him visible in Europe and keep the interest of big clubs in acquiring his signature.
Yea, you are very much correct on this mate, it's not really all about the money for Victor Osimhen, he actually wanted the Chelsea deal to happen, but the salary that was been offered to him was too poor comparing to what he is earning in Napoli, so he took it as an insult for a player of his quality.
Though Napoli was the cause of all this, because the ridiculous amount of money that was placed on him, even when they knew that no club would be willing to pay such amount on him, and another greedy thing that they did that collapse the Al Ahli deal was that, they were still demanding more money even when the deal was closed to completion, that was the major reason that deal never went through.

So in essence, what am trying to say is that, the actual plan for Victor Osimhen was to stay in Europe, and play in a top team in Europe top five leagues, but Napoli screwed everything up with reasons best known to them, so I believe that it's very much certain that Victor Osimhen will get a better moved after this current loan spell at Galatasaray due to the one year contract extension he just sign yesterday with a much lower release clause, which I believe that most top teams will be willing to pay, unlike the former.

Looks Victor Osimhen very happy in front of Galatasaray fans after his failure reach deal transfer with Chelsea and Al Ahli, seems Galatasaray as short planning for him until next window transfer opening at the end of this year than keep stay with Napoli but Antonio Conte have kick him out from main squad.
Napoli ask Victor Osimhen extend his contract left few years later but he have rejected it and not reach the agreement deal with Al Ahli and Chelsea make him stay with Napoli exactly until January transfer window opening.

Galatasaray will get short term service with Victor Osimhen because not any clause for buying back permanently, I think next window transfer opening Al Ahly as serious team behind in this transfer window they have completed problem with foreign players have been registered. Interested to see Osimhen performance with Galatasaray will make Napoli get disappointed after kicking him out or not?

I don't know about one of the best strikers in the world, if it were so he would have ended up in some top team, as he wanted, but neither PSG nor Arsenal wanted to pay more than €70m and perhaps renting was the only acceptable option for him. But it's strange that he chose Galatasaray, perhaps he wanted to become the champion of Turkey, or maybe the rent terms were simply the most favorable for this team?

Al Ahli almost signed him but Napoli suddenly wants higher transfer fees. I can understand if Al Ahli decided to reject it, Napoli reneged on the negotiation. It burdens Al Ahli, Osimhen's value becomes too overprice. Another reason is about the high salary asked by Osimhen. Not sure why Osimhen becomes too greedy with the money, he may assume he deserves it.

Galatasaray probably monitored the situation of Osimhen. They may realize that Osimhen has no choice anymore, so Galatasaray is trying to sign him now. Napoli also seems to agree because there are no more teams to negotiate for Osimhen. However, I'm not sure if Osimhen is ready to accept low salary there. I guess Galatasaray should pay a lot for the salary of Osimhen. But if Osimhen can play well, it is not a problem for Galatasaray.

I think that with the coming season it is important for him to work not for his salary but for his playing practice and improving his skills, because maybe it will be difficult for him to come back from Turkish league to Europe. I don't think it's a good plan to go there on loan, but he really doesn't have any more options, so it's better that way than him not playing for a season at all
It will be the most foolish thing If Osimhen do not agree to the terms of Galatasaray, in this he has been placed with the best opportunity of taking him out of being idle and benched in a team where he was once the big bird. Osimhen did so much for Napoli, everyone saw his influence as the top striker for the team even scoring both unbelievable goals and at last being treated like one average player, I hope Lukaku becomes the better version of Osimhen or nothing will be different from what they did to Osimhen also happen to him.

Osimhen can still have a move to the Premier League or any other competitive one if only he can work on his ratings, once he becomes the topic of discussion based on his outstanding contribution to his new team then he can raise every possibility of having the option of moving to the Premier league.

I think there was a bit of a nervous approach towards him. He scored over 70 goals in the Napoli jersey. I think he is one of the best forwards with his physical strength, speed and finishing ability. The deal he made with Gala is one of the most logical deals for him. He can leave the team in the mid-season transfer window and we all know he was left out of the squad in Napoli. He would either not play football or he would play football until the mid-season transfer window. I think he made the right decision.

Thom Haye, does anyone know him? He is a former SC Hereenveen player, he also just joined my country after the Naturalization process. Previously he was a Netherlands U-17 player who won the European Cup 2 times. There are rumors that the black-shoe midfielder is in discussions with NAC Breda. Currently, Haye is on a free transfer. He is 29 years old and is still very competitive to compete.

But Oshimen also wanted a very high annual salary from Chelsea, Napoli also wanted a high transfer fee and that in combination apparently ensured that he was not bought. Bad for all parties, because Oshimen wants to play in Europe, Napoli wants to sell him and not have him in the team and Chelsea needs a strong striker. The situation is actually a loss for everyone.

Al Ahli from Saudi Arabia will no longer buy Oshimen because they have transferred Ivan Toney for £40m.
That's why it is difficult to transfer Osimhen because apart from him demanding a big salary, Napoli also ask for a very large transfer price. PSG, who we know have good financial resources, have stopped pursuing his signature even though their ability to recruit certainly has the ability. In this case, all parties are actually disadvantaged, both for Osimhen himself and Napoli because if this season is not realized, it is not certain that next season Osimhen's price will be higher.
Osimhen demand for a high salary and Napoli request for a large transfer fee made PSG withdraw from the pursuit of the Nigerian player. PSG have started to back down in the hunt for Osimhen because the performances shown by the players at the start of this season have been very impressive, even though they have just lost Mbappe who left for Real Madrid, the sharpness of their front line has increased.
It seems that PSG are not too reckless anymore in bringing in players, now they are more careful and not too easy in spending money. The current squad is adequate, Luis Enrique is also very satisfied with the performance shown by his squad, if they want to bring in new players, they will probably take advantage of the opportunity when the January transfer window opens.
A high transfer fee has been set for the Nigerian striker and a high annual salary has been set, neither of which PSG have shown interest in signing the player. Considering the performance of this player, his market value should have been much lower but there his market value may have been made so high on purpose. The player had dreams of playing for a big club in Europe but the matter has now reached a point where his stay in Europe is in doubt.

Someone is saying that he is being offered by the Saudi League and there is a high possibility that he will go there. If this player joins a Saudi League team then it is assumed that he joined at the end of his career as the Saudi League is a league where players join at the end of their careers.

What? Sancho is in fifth place? then who is above him? Huh

That was Dan Ashworth's statement (Manchester United Sporting Director) when asked why Manchester United sold Sancho and I think their management really never stops surprising everyone. Even though during the last season Sancho proved that he deserved to be in the squad and his relationship with Erik ten hag started to improve. But on the other hand, I also doubt that Erik ten hag did that to cover up all his problems from the media and I think it makes sense when he let Sancho go.

Then if Sancho is in fifth place then how does he see Rashford or Antony, haven't both players played very badly since last season? I still don't believe this reason and the rest is indeed a matter of Manchester United's dislike of Sancho.
As you can see there are only 7 strikers in Manchester United, both Zirkzee and Hojlund are pure striker, while Wheatley is just an academy player, so the rest of them are greater than Sancho. Cheesy

Technically only both Diallo and Garnacho are above average in this season, Manchester United need to find more wide players, otherwise they will not able to compete with the top teams.

He did already agree and the transfer has been completed. It has been announced just hours ago, but still I think what a downfall that was for a striker who was supposed to be the next European superstar in a team like Real Madrid. Now he is playing for Galatasaray Istanbul because he is left without any other options. Going to be interesting to see for how long he will be playing in the Turkish League, but I somehow can't imagine that it will be for very long.

But as it seems there are some interesting details involved. Napoli wants Osimhen to first extends his contract with Napoli for one more year until 2027 and then they let him go for a zero loan fee if Galatasaray covers his salary. What a weird transfer is that? Cheesy That's a lot of drama, but the best that could happen to him now I guess as he is still guaranteed his salary.

Napoli says that if he returned from the loan period next summer, their negotiation position would be really bad because there would be only one year of contract duration left. That is why he first had to agree to extend his contract until 2027. Very interesting and forward looking move by Napoli.
