If I were executive in United and he wants to leave, I would get rid of him immediately. Contract annulment that he requested sounds like good compromise to me.

I don't know if requesting the contract annulment is valid news or a rumor only. I am not sure if a professional player like Ronaldo wants to do that. As a Ronaldo fan who followed his career for more than 10 years, I never heard he canceled his contract (contract annulment). So, I assume it is just a rumor spreading by the media.
No big club is interested in signing him and he's hesitant to go to a club who did not qualify for champions league.

TBH, I don't believe if no big clubs are interested to sign him. Although he is 37 years old, we all agree that he still played in his top performance. Signing Ronaldo should be a very positive advantage for every big club, especially to play in UCL competition.

Timo Werner is a good catch for both sides, as both teams are financially capable of getting the deal done. It will depend now on which club he prefers to join in the end, both clubs are in need of an attacker. I think Juventus will be his choice as he will prefer champions league football over a big money move to Newcastle who are still struggling to make an impact in the premier league.

I had completely missed that Chiellini is away from Juventus. Just heard it yesterday. He will seek his success at Los Angeles FC. Somehow understandable choice, given his age. And I think he will get a decent salary on that too. And if you've played football in Italy all your life, then you might want to do something different.
