That should be their goal for the champion, but realistically speaking, even the quarter-finals can be a good goal in my opinion because their opponents are too strong in this league. As for the Premier League, I think the Spurs team has the potential to be better than teams like Chelsea and Arsenal this season. Spursta, as there will be important player changes in the new season. Tottenham did not include Tanguy Ndombele in the camp because he did not think about it in the new season. The team is basically strong, they can push their targets with a few improvements.

I honestly think that Tottenham is going to be much stronger than Chelsea and Arsenal in the upcoming season. They have made some pretty big changes in the team. I really like that change, and many others do as well. It appears that the team is really balanced going into the next season. It is my prediction that they will at least reach the semi-finals of the Champions League and do decently in the English Premier League as well.

I'm quite optimistic to see the significant changes shown by the Spurs at this time, judging from the hunt for players they really really use it quite perfectly. So at least occupying one seat for the Champions League is quite wide open than Manchester United and Arsenal. Spurs are very enthusiastic and the compatibility between players and coaches is now starting to look more intimate.

You know what? I think this will probably be the time when Harry Kane will finally be able to win something with Tottenham. An authority is looking for a flawless team. I am not willing to say that they have succeeded 100% in that mission but they have certainly done well enough to raise big hopes. Next season, Manchester City should be the champion again and Liverpool and Tottenham should be fighting it out for the second place.

That would be utmost great! Conte has done an amazing job throughout the year, Tottenham has stepped up it's game. Can't wait to see what can be done next season, hopefully with more players to come, especially increasing quality on the back/wingers position.

Yeah signing both will really make things hard for Barcelona.

Kane replacing Lewandowski is just fake rumor. With Spurs performing great last season, Kane is really crucial for Spurs right now as they have CL and have to perform in PL as well. Kane is their main striker who is helping them in attacks so I am sure that Spurs have no plans to sell him. Besides if they were to consider selling him, a club need to make a very good bid to sign Kane.
I also predict Tottenham will not want to let Kane go in the transfer market this summer. because the contribution of kane and Son last season was extraordinary where Tottenham was able to pass arsenal at the end of the season and tottenham was able to occupy the 4th position when the competition ended. So the tottenham board members will definitely not sell their star and they will keep kane no matter what. Moreover, Conte and Kane have a pretty good harmony of course the coach will ask him to stay with Tottenham next season.

Arturo Vidal is one good and agressive midfielder no player in the Seria A would want to match up with. The Chilean have reach brimmed agreement with his present team, inter Milan to terminate his contract and then sealed Flamengo deal. Fans trolled the Vidal, some consider his actions as form of betrayal while others pay his tributes. Vidal can still do better in his new team, Flamengo. His contract with the team will be valid until December 2023.

Pogba is going to be an invaluable asset for Juventus. Juventus played it really well because they did not spend too much money and they got some promising players.
Promising huh, well in fact one of the reason that he wanted to leave Manchester United was because he was asking for higher wage but it was declined. He thought that the other club would be willing to pay him higher but he couldnt find one that is willing to pay that high therefore he went to Juventus. He has probably regretted his decision because in the end, Manchester United's offer was higher than Juventus lol
It might be a wage issue but definitely not the only reason that pushed him to run out of the sinking boat of ManU.
First, Pogba isn't at his best with ManU. Secondly, his teammates are disappointing. Third, they have management issues and the team is quite unstable, without a clear future and not playing Champions League.
There is enough reasons for him to try his best with another club and Juve welcomed him.

Arsenal are targeting to sign Benfica left-back Alex Grimaldo now and they have already submitted an offer worth 6.4 million pounds. He has one more year left for his contract to expire now and his current market price is 20 million euros. Considering this I find this offer quite low. Benfica might not accept this offer. Because he is a regular player for Benfica at the same time. Arsenal have Tierney and Tavares already too by the way. Having three left-backs at the same time would be quite many too.

How long would it take for the deal between Raphina and  Barcelona to be a done deal. He wanted Barcelona at first but current club wants him to move to Chelsea since they had agreement with them on the price.
What are the chances of ending at Barcelona. The earlier the better the better for him to be in a club and start training since he is not part of the Leeds squads on tour.
I don't understand the plan Barcelona have for the coming season. I hear everyday that the club is facing financial crisis and the next minute they are bidding for a big name player and I wonder if the news about the financial crisis they are facing is true. They have attacking options in the team already and they are still going for more. After coming with an improved bid, I believe they are serious about getting Raphinha on their side.

Yes, Harry Kane has an important role for the Tottenham Hotspur squad, it is difficult for other teams to try to talk to Tottenham so that Kane is released. Especially now that they don't have a replacement and even I see they are not yet interested in signing a replacement and moving in the transfer market this time. He's already had his game melt down with his Tottenham team-mates.
Indeed. For now, I think no club has a chance to sign Harry Kane because Tottenham will reject any offer. Antonio Conte relies on him as a machine goal for Tottenham in the next season, he is still irreplaceable. Although Tottenham has Heung-min Son as the most productive player last season, Son can't score many goals without the contribution of Harry Kane. Harry Kane makes the opponents' defenders busy, so Son has the opportunities to score. In addition, Harry Kane seems like the iconic player for Tottenham, losing him will impact very much on the club popularity.

I hope his second spell in Juventus wouldn't be anything like his time in United, even though his failure in Manchester United was partly his fault; i can understand why Juve fans are excited by this move, Paul was quite good when he played for them in his first spell, so they are expecting the same, the fan base i'm quite sure wouldn't admire Pogba even the slightest bit would be United fans, they expected so much from the French man, but he was nothing close to their expectations. Having said that, for the sake of Pogba's career, i do hope he rediscovers his form and commitment to football, he definitely has the talent, but that sometimes isn't enough, he needs to add hardwork, discipline, desire, etc to his game in order to take his career to the next level.
Juventus fans understand that Paul Pogba has many advantages so that the return of Paul Pogba to Juventus is like a longing that is fulfilled. Pogba will feel different when playing in Turin because under pressure at Manchester United he was the most expensive when recruited from Juventus.
In 2017, Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard once praised the extraordinary figure of Pogba who was able to develop well even under pressure as MU's most expensive player at that time. According to Gerrard, Pogba has a good pass. Pogba's strength can help United defend and threaten through free-kick techniques.
Along with his later journey at Juventus, he must change the habits that are often done at Manchester United, don't go forward too often because it will make it difficult for his teammates in midfield.

Pogba is going to be an invaluable asset for Juventus. Juventus played it really well because they did not spend too much money and they got some promising players. They acquired two excellent free transfer players, Paul Pogba and Angel Di Maria. I am actually looking a lot more balanced than I did last season. And the fans being excited about the next season is very much justifiable. I am expecting a good performance from them in the next season. It's just a matter of hoping that all the players find their form quickly and that Juventus also starts the next season much better than last time.

will Harry Kane be Robert Lewandowski's successor at bayern munich?!

this was reported today by the german sports magazine kicker. the 28-year-old striker still has a contract with tottenham hotspurs until summer 2024. however, a transfer this summer would probably be difficult or hardly feasible due to the financial aspects... but it remains exciting what is true about this rumor Wink

He is happy at Spurs right now under Conte so I don't think he is gonna move away from the club. Besides 2024 means he has 2 years on his contract and that's a lot of time so I don't think this rumor is true. Its not gonna happen in this window as Spurs need him for the CL and PL this season and he his main man in Conte's plan so I am sure he is gonna stay at Spurs for a season at least.
I didn't find any rumors about Harry Kane being Lewandowski's successor at Bayern Munich, but it's true what you said Harry Kane is on the list of strikers in Conte's plans for PL and CL he is very important to be needed so I assume this will not happen during this season if for next season I don't know the next plan.
As previously reported, Conte still really wants Kane even though there were many rumors that he would move to Mancity and now they have managed to keep Kane so Conte certainly has a good plan in his strategy.
Harry Kane has always been an important player for Spurs, even with Conte's arrival he made it clear that he wants Kane to stay, that shows Kane is part of his plans. Harry Kane is a masterpiece in Conte's plan for next season so letting Kane leave is very unlikely to happen this summer with not many options for them in that position. Tottenham are looking promising for next year, they will be playing in the champions league so Kane will be happy to stay at the club.

So sad how Eden Hazard glorious moment in football turned to shreds the moment he went to Real Madrid. It's still an unforgettable mistake he made and I know one thing for sure is that Eden is trying his best to recover after battling with several injuries in the team.
Players like Eden never bounce back to their best and moving to Real Madrid was not his best option if you ask me because you never in a calm state as your position is being contested for in very game which is bad for player development.  I guess we shall forget about him like nothing ever happened.
Eden Hazard took a gamble by signing for Real Madrid, since his arrival from Chelsea he had never replicated his form at Bernabeu, I believe injury took some part of dip in form, from my own point of view he should sign for a new club maybe EPL club where he will get a regular playing time and and get back his form with the world cup fast approaching he needed to get back his form to earn a call up the Belgian National team, else staying at Real Madrid will further regress his footballing career due to limited playing time and with Vinicuis Jr. playing brilliantly at the flanks it will be difficult to bench him.
Since Hazard’s departure from Chelsea to Real Madrid, I would say he has struggled, and not just struggling with proving himself but struggling with his fitness. He has become prone to injuries and that has been a huge setback for him and I think it will be more difficult now fighting for the his first team shirt with Vinicius Jr in top form. He will have to play from the bench or leave the club to get game time.
At some point, players feel the need to prioritize high wages over their career. We have seen quite some players making similar mistakes in making a move away from a club or league where they were super good and considered very valuable players. Just like Sanchez moving from Arsenal to Manchester united and destroying a career that was turning out to be the best time of his life. Same scenario with Hazard, since he left Chelsea for Real Madrid he has struggled to find the form he had playing in England.

Aston Villa are also active in the transfer market after they've complete the loan deal with Sevilla for Ludwig Augustinsson. The deal was a lucrative one and buy option was also triggered in the contract. Steven Gerrard will definitely take Villa to the next level if given the chances and space to get who ever he wants in the market. Aston Villa squad is good at the moment but they were battling to fill in the space of Jack Grealish which they sold to Manchester city. Although their Frontlines and defense is still very much in shape, with Watkins leading the Frontlines and their tough captain who's their defender, Tyrone Mings. With this present squad, they can still push for titles in next season.

Hazard expectations did not match reality, he failed miserably with Real Madrid. Although last season Real Madrid triumphed in La Liga and the Champions League, Hazard's contribution to the team was minimal, he spends more time on the bench than playing minutes. During his move to Real Madrid Hazard's condition changed 180%, because previously when he was still playing with Chelsea his role was very important, he was treated very well at Stamford Bridge thanks to his good contribution. Hazard has to find a new club to save his career, a return to the Premier League is possible, be it with Chelsea or with another club.
This is no only case in soccer history, we have a very long list of players those fail completely in this way, and they never have their best with the change of club. There is no doubt Hazard was one of the best players, but his desired for Real Madrid almost kill his future and now things are completely in different way because most of the time sitting on bench and having no good contribution to the team is surely frustrated for player like him.
Still, he can give some good favor to himself and try to have another transfer which can bring some better for his future because age factor is still favoring him, and he can contribute positively for any club right now place in Real Madrid is not suitable for him and his game play.

Actually, it is quite funny to me that a lot of people were talking about Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard being the next successors to Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. But eventually, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will outlast them. Both Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale are not in the best of form right now. Gareth Bale is probably even less interested in playing football right now, as he is interested in golf. And we all know how Hazard is doing in RMA. I think he should consider moving because I also think that the way the Real Madrid squad plays, doesn't actually go along with how Hazard plays.

I think the same means if it's not financially capable then Barcelona will have to choose between Lewandowski or Rapinha which will be his move.
Even if Barcelona is able to bring in both of them, that's good too, but we still have to look at the finances we have because at the moment it's not stable for Barcelona.
Now more and more rumors are sticking out about Kane who will replace Lewandowski but regardless Kane will not move but for Lewandowski there is still a possibility of a move from Bayern.

I believe if Raphinha should complete a move to Barcelona (which is said to be now closer than before1) then, there's every likelihood of Lewandowski not joining Barcelona can't afford it, especially if they're forced to pay outrightly, and that also means Frenkie De Jong will almost certainly move to Man Utd as well due if not Barcelona would be in more awful shape financially, Ousmane Dembele had to accept a massive 40% pay cut in order for his contract to be renewed 2, so I'm wondering where the huge wages that Lewandowski and Raphinha will get would have to come from.

Personally, I would have preferred Barcelona hold on to De Jong and let go of the Lewandowski idea as he's going to be a free agent next summer, and with Sergio Busquets contract also ending next summer and Barcelona have no intention of making a renewal, or at most an extra year, it would literally be better off for the club to retain De Jong.

You have a good point, Lewandowski itself don't want to extend his contract and it will ended on June 30, 2023 or next year. If Bayern Munich doesn't want to let Lewandowski move to other club, then Lewandowski is expected to leave freely and Munich wouldn't earn any single cent.

I think Munich is just forcing Chelsea to spend more money, but I think Chelsea have thought about this and seems they're let Munich to succumb and lowering the transfer fee. I guess it's fine to sign Lewandowski in the next year, so Chelsea had nothing to lose.
the current news is very funny because chelsea also sounds interested in lewandowski but i doubt lewandowski is willing to play at chelsea since he insisted on wanting to play at barca

Bayern will definitely try hard to change Lewandowski's stubbornness with any tricks and take advantage of his services until the end of the contract. To be honest, without Lewandowski, I doubt that Bayern could become the king of the Bundesliga in recent years. Just look at Lewandowski's statistics while playing for Bayern, he has scored 344 goals from 375 matches, that means he averages almost 1 goal in all matches with Bayern

Maybe it can be very good for Barcelona itself although not good enough for some people. Because with Barcelona's condition in terms of the financial crisis, everything they want to do is always difficult to achieve because everything always requires money, especially in the current transfer period. Obviously all clubs need better players, but they also have to prepare a decent amount of money in this case, if the money is not there then the club can't talk much.
Barcelona are indeed experiencing financial problems and we know that, but so far they are considered quite successful in convincing their players to stay including Dembele and De Jong. Despite being in difficult financial conditions, Barcelona has also been quite successful in bringing in several new players even though they are actually free transfer players like Kessie and Christensen.

If you compare Barcelona's transfer activity with teams with good financial strength like Manchester United, then I think Barcelona is still better even though almost all of their players are now required to take wage cuts.
Actually for De Jong I think if he has a choice then he will leave but the problem is he still has money in Barcelona from his salary arrears for two seasons which indeed in this case it seems Barcelona are reluctant to pay if he does leave and try to give a clause that doesn't come in. sense to give De Jong along with their debt to De Jong for the new team.
I think Barcelona now adding players will only add to the burden on them so indeed they can't be too impulsive they should be but what is happening right now is the opposite of Reality.
