The reason I am not enthused about this transfer window and people fail to see is, this is one of the most crucial windows for Arsenal as a club.
The journey they have been on over the last 4 seasons or thereabouts culminates here.

This is not supposed to be the Arsenal of Old where they bring in make-shift signings just to add bodies.
Their goal this season is simply to win the title. Not to act like we want to, or try to. It’s win the title and the only way you’re ripping that title of Manchester City is by pulling all strings not by patching up.

Now last season they needed to upgrade the quality of their bench. Can they honestly say they have done that?
They needed to upgrade the quality of their attacking position backup - Nothing was done. Rather they even reduced personnel.

CM/DM we can say they bolstered options there with Merino. And Defensively.

GK - not really.

So all in all can they say they are a stronger squad this season than last?

Looking at how close they came and how this Season was supposed to be when they go for it, did they act like they want to go for it through what they did in this transfer window?

The drama between Victor Osimhen and Napoli did not produce a final conclusion, Chelsea also failed to find common ground so that the option taken by Osimhen was to stay at Napoli but not be included in the squad. It is very complicated and quite regrettable that the player who used to be Napoli pride used all his energy to score many goals ended in a very painful relationship, especially for Osimhen himself. A valuable lesson for Osimhen is that in the future he must be more careful not to be too in his comfort zone, at that time offers from big clubs were rejected just because he felt comfortable at Napoli but was ultimately destroyed by his favorite club. It's fine. Osimhen demands a ridiculous wage from us. We also have some great strikers in our lineup. He is probably going to Saudi soon considering their window is open longer than us. There's nothing to regret; we don't pay 300k in a week for a seasonal striker like him.

We dodged a bullet. Osimhen would be Lukaku 2.0 version if the deal went through. There's no guarantee he would deliver what we expected.

We have enough resources to compete for the current season. We have nothing to regret by failing to get him.

In fact, Chelsea immediately contacted Napoli to also discuss Osimhen, including salary. And Al-Ahli just have to wait and see how the negotiations between Napoli and Chelsea go, if it fails, then Al-Ahli will immediately make a decision.
To be honest, I'm now getting tired of the speculations and reports concerning the future of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. Since yesterday, numerous sports outlets have emerged with some suggesting that he's more likely to move to Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli because of the mouthwatering deal the club is offering while others suggests he'll chose Chelsea over a Saudi club since he'll want to remain in Europe.
With the news coming tonight that Chelsea have made an official bid, I think they're more likely to sign Osimhen and I'll be very happy to see that deal pull through
exactly, and it really works. In the end, this long drama really ended!
Chelsea withdrew because there was no agreement in the negotiations. And now, Napoli is waiting for news from Saudi Club, and if in the next 3 days there is no more exact news, then Osimhen will remain in Napoli.

It is unfortunate that if Osimhen stays at Napoli, the Nigerian striker will not be part of Conte main squad this season. Perhaps many people did not expect the Osimhen transfer saga to end like this, and the last chance that is still open is to move to the Saudi Pro League to join Al Ahli. Aurelio De Laurentiis has complicated things, and also disrupted the club overall transfer plans, we realize that Napoli are relying on the profits from Osimhen transfer to support Conte in building squad depth this season. In my opinion, Osimhen will not move to the Saudi Pro League, because the player has stated that he does not want to leave European competition.

Napoli management and top brass were too confident with the price they set for Osimhen, and ultimately had to accept the consequences of the policy they took. Lukaku arrival will make Osimhen position even more difficult, with Conte preferring Lukaku as a number 9 player. Another consequence for Napoli is having to bear the burden of the club increasingly high bills due to the failure of the Osimhen transfer. Besides, it is not surprising that Napoli failed to achieve their targets this season, because Conte did not get the opportunity to recruit players according to his wishes.

But Oshimen also wanted a very high annual salary from Chelsea, Napoli also wanted a high transfer fee and that in combination apparently ensured that he was not bought. Bad for all parties, because Oshimen wants to play in Europe, Napoli wants to sell him and not have him in the team and Chelsea needs a strong striker. The situation is actually a loss for everyone.

Al Ahli from Saudi Arabia will no longer buy Oshimen because they have transferred Ivan Toney for £40m.

We're some minutes away from the end the summer transfer window and a lot of transfers have been happening in the last 24 hours. One of the latest deals that's been sealed is the loan deal of Jadon Sancho to Chelsea. It's reported that Chelsea have an option of permanenting the deal at the expiration of the loan next summer. Personally, I feel Chelsea have done a lot in signing players this transfer window even when reports have it that they might sign Victor Osimhen tonight.

Lol. I can understand why United would do this - they would be interested in someone else paying Sancho's wages, but why would Chelsea do this? Maybe it's worth waiting until the transfer window finally closes and maybe we'll find out that Chelsea have optimized their squad, but I have little faith in that.

Osimhen is going to Chelsea for a €350k weekly pay according to the news I saw today in one of our local newspapers Daily Trust. I also learnt that former Chelsea stars Drogba and Mikel Obi were instrumental to this deal as they actively participated in the negotiations to turned things around for Osimhen.

I'm confident that this is a great deal for Chelsea because they desperately needed a striker with the experience and physical strength of Osimhen.
Al Ahli seem to be out of the race as they can’t keep waiting for Osimhen till the end of the deadline so they have now gone to make agreement to sign Ivan Toney as backup so they don’t miss out on signing a striker.

Chelsea and Osimhen are still trying to reach an agreement but it’s taking too long and the deadline is almost upon us so Chelsea need to do everything possible to sign him. Osimhen is the ideal striker choice for Chelsea, his strength, experience and scoring ability because that’s clearly what they need at the moment and it is only Osimhen that is the availabile striker that can suit their need at the moment so they need to do everything possible to get him.
It's unfortunate, Osimhen's deal with Chelsea didn't go through. It was Sancho's deal that successfully went through. Chelsea will go on with Sacho at their attacking midfielder, forgetting Osimhen and Ivan, as Al Ahli has successfully hijacked both players with their bullion van of money.

Chelsea will go on to condone and make use of Jackson as he struggles to keep form. Who knows what the season would be with him? He can't later pick form to do wonders on the pitch.

Sterling will probably join Arsenal, while Osimhen will not going to Al Ahli.
The Saudi team got Ivan  Toney instead.

As Roma is going for Hermoso as free agent.
Ugarte to Mancehster United.
Tammy Abraham from Roma to Milan.

Source Fabrizio Romano.

Sterling deal done as the winger joins Arsenal it is just confirmed, Chelsea on the other hand have just added Jodak Sancho to their squad also has they have reached an agreement with Manchester United for a Loan deal, looks like they were just waiting to offload Sterling before they could do that, Manchester United didn’t want a direct swap deal with them and personally i would say it’s not really worth it, they have many players competing for that right wing already and adding this player will just be a waste of resources rather they would just keep Sancho but nonetheless it’s a good move for both players and clubs involved.

I still think the Osihmen deal with the Saudi club isn’t off even if Ivan Tooney deal sets to be agreed already, Napoli didn’t agree with Chelsea for the player and that deal is off already now Al Ahli is the only option left for Osihmen now i personally believe he should simply take the offer and move he has already tried to get an European club but it is not working for him yet he can still be sorted after even in that league

Jadon Sancho and Victor Oshime are both separate deals happening as we talk.
As it seems now I think Jadon Sancho loan move transfer is done while that of Osimhen is off now, I guessed is from the fact that his wage demands couldn't be met.

The offer from Chelsea to Victor Oshime has been rejected and I don't see him accepting such if it's not double of what that was offered. I hate the fact that because they're Africans, European Clubs then to do them dirty with the way they're valued and priced.
This was beyond the fact that Osimhen is an African player, Napoli was somehow greedy since they knew Osimhen would want a big wage and I doubt at the moment any team would want to pay such fee and give huge wage and that was the reason PSG literally back off from him including Arsenal since they could still sort themselves out with their squad while Chelsea wanted him but the issue Chelsea won't like to pay the asking fee of Napoli this season probably base on FFP rule, so was considering loan with an option to buy, I doubt really know if Osimhen wanted this earlier but as the market deadlines get closer I guessed he had to accept thus but the weekly wage from Chelsea was even lower than what he earned at Napoli.

I doubt see Chelsea approach as not regarding African players from the fact that, we all can see the fee other players are earning at Chelsea. I think they would have been able to give him like 250k to 300k after the loan if he meet expectation, since we all remember how well Lukaku did at Inter Milan before his arrival at Chelsea but failed to do anything well, his weekly wage as been the biggest headache Chelsea had selling/loaning him out before until his move.

Also it's important to have a reasonably good wage book for players to make everything somehow fair in order to avoid huge wage demands when renewal of contracts is highly needed .

Jadon Sancho is a useless player, on God, I don't want to even see him as a Manchester United player no more. He has shown nothing but disrespect to Manchester United fans, the coach and fans.
Sancho is now a Chelsea player as it seems and I don't really have much to say on him but will like to see how well he performed this season though I thought he only had issues with the  coach before and not the fans before his loan back to Dortmund last season

Federico Chiesa the former player of Juventus joined Liverpool and he is going to play there in this season. Federico Chiesa was one of the best players of Juventus and he had a good performance in this team but recently he was not in the good form and maybe this made Motta to stop working with this player instead of giving him some more time.
Liverpool wanted to hire Federico Chiesa but their offer was rejected by Juventus before, now they hired Federico Chiesa just by spending 13 million euros however this player is far from good form.

If we ignore the Juventus star's injury history, then I believe they have found a valuable commodity who could be Arne Slot's trump card this season. At a bargain price (given that Chiesa's contract with Juventus expires this season), this is a no-brainer deal for a player of Federico Chiesa's caliber. The 26-year-old's quick acceleration, dribbling power, and desire to beat his marker would fit well with Liverpool's identity. Liverpool suits Federico Chiesa's strengths better than Juventus. Coming to Anfield, he will be an effective backup option for many players, he can completely replace the positions of key players in Liverpool's squad such as Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota, Cody Gakpo, or even Mohamed Salah.

Key to this signing being successful is the need for head coach Arne Slot and fitness expert Ruben Peeters to play a key role in ensuring Federico Chiesa is well looked after to avoid further injury.

Personally I am very surprised by Chelsea movement in the transfer window, they seem very wasteful in recruiting many players. Sancho is another surprise from all the deals that Chelsea have reached, we know this is the last day and the transfer window will close soon. Man United seems reluctant to let Sancho go to Juventus, because the Serie A club offers a lower loan fee than Chelsea. Moving to Chelsea is actually not a bad choice, but as we can see, Sancho has to compete with other attackers to get a place in Enzo Maresca main squad.

On the other hand, rumors of Osimhen transfer are still rolling, and it seems that Chelsea management is also trying to get the Napoli striker on loan and with a permanent purchase option. Overall, Chelsea are very busy in this summer transfer window, and Enzo Maresca's squad looks very fat. If we refer to Chelsea official announcement, we can see a number of deals that have been reached so far.

Now the rumors and speculations are becoming more interesting for Osimhen but seeing that the transfer window is only a few days from closing, I'm actually still quite confident that Osimhen will stay at Napoli with this little time remaining.

Because if he really wants to leave then there should already be a completed agreement regarding the decision to go to which club he wants to go but until now only a few rumors that are always adorned without any definite clarity that makes me feel that Napoli will still use Osimhen's services at least for half the season or the end of this season.

But if that happens then indeed they must be prepared with the friction that occurs especially until now the relationship between Osimhen and Napoli also still looks not okay even though it is not as bad as before.

Osimhen must accept the fact that it is not easy for him to join another team because of the many requirements he asked for. Chelsea ultimately did not reach an agreement with Napoli. Osimhen must return and improve his attitude to be able to return to the squad. His relationship with Napoli is indeed not harmonious because he has stated that he wants to leave but no team has managed to reach an agreement.

Napoli coach, Conte could choose Lukaku as a striker in every match because he has tried to bring Lukaku in and finally he succeeded in getting him. Osimhen might become a reserve striker because he has betrayed the team with his behavior in the transfer market. Let's see how Conte responds when Osimhen does not leave because the transfer market will close soon.

These news are exciting and not all are favorable for us. Understanding the moves around Victor Osimhen. He's a top player for Napoli and have always dream of playing for an EPL side and Chelsea falls in the picture. Osimhen would be one of the favorite moves in the transfer window, it takes crucial passion for the Nigeria international to decline Al Ahli massive bids, and turn over to Chelsea.

I'm not sure he was so keen to accept Al Ahli's offer. Yes, he was offered a lot of money there, but he hardly values it enough to end his career at such a young age, because after playing there for a few seasons he will hardly be able to return to Europe because of the difference in league levels. There he will simply ruin all his current potential

After Manchester United coach  reintegrated Sancho into the Manchester United team especially during the pre-season outing, I thought that Sancho would play for Manchester United throughout this season. There was no rumor of him being unhappy again in the club, neither was there anyone from the coach. Although he was unable to secure the starting spot for the club. So I was surprised to see the accelerated deal between Manchester United and Chelsea on Sancho.

In the other hand, it seems that Chelsea has made so many signings that they might not even use all this season. It could be that they are more focused in the business part of the whole thing. I wish them success.

Osimhen will certainly be an important player if he does go to Chelsea, but his status is still that of a Napoli player. What surprised me the most was that Manchester United let Scott McTominay join Napoli. In my opinion, Scott McTominay is a really good player at Manchester United, it's just that Ten Hag doesn't give him too many playing minutes.

I tend to prefer Osimhen playing for Chelsea rather than playing in the Saudi Pro League. Osimhen is still very good and can help Chelsea's goal productivity increase, but up to now his future is still in question.

The way people talk down on Jackson is just out of this world, the season is just getting started, I just believe he should be given more time, I hear Chelsea are vigorously looking for other frontliners before the end of the transfer window to help improve on what they have on ground, I believe with the combination of the new players that might come in things will certainly change. However I am hearing the likes of Jadon Sancho, victor osimhen and the rest of them might likely be joining The blues, because its obvious Raheem Sterling is off the hook with Enzo for now, so if those deals come out successful, there certainly will be enough players to rotate, but before then let's cut Nicolas Jackson so slack as the season is just getting started.

What time do you want to give Nicholas Jackson? It's not Chelsea didn't create chances last season with Mauricio Pochetino but the primary issue they had was scoring goals and also converting the chances they had. Thanks to Cole Palmer who had a great first season with Chelsea otherwise, expecting goals from Nicholas Jackson wouldn't have ended well for them because he couldn't do a great attacking job for them. Seeing him leading them in attack again this season is another big gamble, I don't rate him and I don't see him getting 20+ Premier League Competition goals.
Jadon Sancho and Victor Oshime are both separate deals happening as we talk. The offer from Chelsea to Victor Oshime has been rejected and I don't see him accepting such if it's not double of what that was offered. To be more honest on this one, without sentiments, Jackson was really out of games last season, his performance was not up to standard and majorly was one of the causes as to which Chelsea finished where they did. Chelsea has always been able to create many chances both last season and this season aswell even for the little games played there has been brilliant opportunities but always having poor convertion to score goals, not just Jackson alone, take a look at Mudryk both having same problem, wrong decision making at that critical points which causes them loosing or not advancing better on that fixture.

Jackson had enough playing time and never can he use that as an excuse, now I'm sure he's seeing them bid for his replacement, once the deal is finalised he won't be getting as much playing time like back then and will be forced to learn from the bench.
