Osimhen really wanted to go to PSG, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one-sided because PSG was no longer trying to get a deal done. Even though Goncalo Ramos is injured, that doesn't make Enrique eyeing Osimhen again because it seems like Osimhen is not the striker that Enrique wants. It's likely Osimhen won't be going anywhere and won't be playing this season either because Al Ahli has already signed Ivan Toney which means there is no longer any door for Osimhen to go to Saudi Arabia.

It wasn't exactly like that about Luis Enrique and PSG actually. PSG was serious with their interest in Osimhen. However Napoli chairman De Laurentiis' demands were too high. He wanted his release clause to be bought out which must be around 130 million euros. After that of course PSG backed down from their intention. Why would they spend that much money on him in the end?

I mean he is a talented striker but if you ask me, he isn't worth that much. It is even difficult to find many players who are worth over 100 million euros at the moment. There are only a few of them proving it with their performances.  Smiley

Chelsea apparently moving fast that they start to selling the players who potentially will not be used because after Sterling and Lukaku the latest player who sell is Armando Broja that just like we know Armando Broja was asking to Chelsea owner to sell him because he hasn't included to Enzo Maresca plan and apparently he will have new club this summer

Everton would became an Armando Broja next club because it says Everton and Chelsea have reach an agreement to loan Armando Broja and it says no loan fees which mean Everton loan him for free but at the end of season Everton have to permanent Armando Broja status

Yeah, I don't understand why Everton still decided to take Armando Broja on loan from Chelsea, when he is expected to be out until mid-October with a foot injury. He suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury and will be sidelined until September. I know Armando Broja is a young player who has accumulated some impressive football experience. He has a lot of potential to develop (if he doesn't get injured again).
First and foremost, Everton probably needs to get Armando Broja fit again. I believe his presence gives Everton more options in attack. The free price is probably worth it for Everton Club do not hesitate to choose to try Armando Broja.

The situation with Osimhen has dragged on and it seems to me that in the winter transfer window (which is not that long to wait) he will leave Napoli somewhere. Maybe an agreement will be reached with Chelsea, theoretically Chelsea should be active in the transfer market selling players and if they wanted to buy Osimhen now they can do it in the winter. Who knows who will have a stronger negotiating position by that time.
It is very unfortunate that a talented player like him has to accept an unclear fate regarding his future at this time, Napoli does not really need him but it is also very difficult for him to find a team that is really serious about getting him. I think he will start to regret when he decided not to leave Napoli last season and the regret he feels now will not have any impact on him. But actually there are still many opportunities that he might get, with the note that every time he plays he must give his best game and make the coach make a different decision. But after he has found his best form, he must also leave immediately, because in my opinion there is no point in staying in a team that does not appreciate him.

Is it me or is Al-Ahli trying to build an unstoppable force this season? Getting Victor Osimhen who is about to undergo his medical today (if he hasn't) and now Al-Ahli have gone out to splash a £40m for Ivan Toney, medical to be taken in London and where on Earth is Chelsea while all these are happening? Chase two players and losing them both to one club on transfer deadline day.
I don't see any reason why Chelsea need to go as far as trying to get a player and can't come to a conclusion of getting the player, Enzo Maresca is going to get himself into big trouble if he fails to deliver this season and having Jackson as the only option to play his attack is not going to yield anything productive.

Saudi sources say that Al-Ahli does not have the money to buy Osimhen and Toney and in addition, according to the regulations Al-Ahli does not have two vacancies for foreign players yet. In general, this is a very strange story and it seems that Chesley really wants to sign Osimhen and is waiting for him to refuse a move to Al-Ahli. We can still believe that Al-Ahli will buy Toney, after all 40 million euros they can probably find, but to buy two such players I think the club will not be able to, because they already have on the balance sheet is Firmino, who almost stopped playing and the club in the championship are not the best, so I expect that Osimhen will still go to Chesley in the end.
https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/13205851/chelsea-transfer-news-ivan-toney-and-victor-osimhen-close-on-agreements-with-saudi-side-al-ahli

If Osimhen had moved to Arabia, I think it would have been strange for his football career. He will indeed be able to earn a large salary there but considering that he is still quite young, wouldn't that be a decision that he would regret later. If he cares more about money, it means he no longer has the ambition to become a big player. However, if he is still concerned about his career, then moving to Chelsea would be a better decision, and it could also be a stepping stone if he still really wants to play with PSG.
When transfer to Chelsea was failed, Osimhen has no other options but Al-Ahli, because Conte will not put him in the squad, so either a transfer to the Saudi league, or no soccer until the winter transfer window.
In any case, now Osimhen's transfer value will drop and now in any case he will need a couple of years of successful performances to at least return to last year's level.
I also think Osimhen needs to fire his agent, who ruined a year of his career and if Osimhen himself had not refused to move to PSG, he would not have such problems now, and now from one of the best strikers in the world, he has turned into a problematic asset.

Sorry buddy, but i disagree with your call that Napoli was cruel to Osimhen and his agent. The fact is that opposite things are happening. Osimhen demands ridiculous wages.

Also, Osimhen and his agent, Calenda, really messed this up. They have no respect toward Napoli as a club that made him the highest paid in history. and no one is bigger than the club.

Therefore, such a reaction by Napoli seems logical and legitimate to me. This caused by Osimhen was really unprofessional; he's always crying and whining. No wonder if even EPL clubs don't offer him much.
I think if he was an English player with all the achievements through his efforts brought to the club and his individual achievement included as the best player in his continent he would have been offered at least what he was demanding for, and many wouldn't think it as a ridiculous request because he had earned it through his performance.

It just unfortunately things turned out this way for him, and I would agree on this area with you that his managers messed up things with their plans on the striker no going in a bright path. On the part of Napoli, reckoning the effort of the striker to the club and now having no need of his services  it would have been a show of farewell if they had let him leave for the Saudi Arabia league when Al Ahil made an interest on him because they are the only club willing to settle for Osimhen's wages as other clubs are demanding for a slash which has made the supposed deal's lingered to this end.

Osimhen demands were unacceptable to Napoli, leading to conflict between the two. His relationship with Napoli is certain to have ended after his name was crossed out of the squad led by Conte. Osimhen is unlikely to play a professional match until at least January 2024, the Number 9 that has been attached to his jersey has also been given to Lukaku.
When a player does not respect the club, the fireball will be thrown at him. Osimhen must accept the consequences of his actions against Napoli, now he is in the punishment mode activated by Napoli for not respecting every policy of the club. Osimhen attitude made other clubs think twice about recruiting him, this incident also became a lesson for other players because the player's capacity can never go against his club.

The disharmonious relationship between Osimhen and Napoli management since last season has made this situation detrimental to Osimhen, Napoli management is not wrong in this case but Osimhen is actually quite disadvantaged for his career development.
Osimhen is basically no longer comfortable at Napoli so Conte did not include him in the team's plans and now Osimhen is having difficulty getting a new team after Napoli will only release him at a high price.

Now it is very likely that Osimhen will be bought by the Saudi Arabian team, and if that happens then Osimhen will not develop his career anymore, maybe he will only get a lot of money there without any further career development.
Yes, of course it is a loss for his career because he cannot appear in the best league in Europe if he moves to the Saudi League. Osimhen should have a good talk with Conte about his future so that he finds the best option. In addition to the very high price tag, Osimhen's salary issue is also very high, making a number of European clubs have to think long and hard to recruit him, even though Chelsea is very interested in him but they do not agree on the salary issue.

Is it a desperate move to force him to accept Saudi teams?
He has 2 more days to accept Deals from Saudi Arabia.

He is a useless player for Chelsea. He should have left way earlier but it is good to hear it is happening at least. If Everton go on like this probably he will find himself in the Championship next season.  Tongue
He will be useless because Chelsea has too many strikers. It is a good decision to move to Everton. Although Everton also has many strikers, it seems to have a better chance to play with Everton. But sure Everton is a good team, they got bad results in the early of this season. Hopefully Armando Broja gets a time to play at least.

I think Osimhen should just go to Saudi Arabia. There is no meaning in staying at Napoli without playing football for a whole season. But the time is running out indeed. I hope this signing also doesn't fail just as it happened with Chelsea. Normally I wouldn't support a move to Saudi Arabia for Osimhen. Because he is still very young. But while there is no better option he should take it and leave.  Sad
Chelsea seems no longer interested to sign Osimhen. Since Osimhen expects too high salary, only Saudi teams who can fulfill it. I'm not sure there is still Saudi team which wants to sign a top striker now. But if they can buy Osimhen with reasonable transfer fees, I think there is a chance for Osimhen to play in Saudi league this season. This will depend on the Napoli board and agent of Osimhen. They must reduce the transfer fees of Osimhen, there will be no more teams to pay above €100m.

Scott McTominay the player from Manchester United left this team and he is going to play for Napoli in the next season.
Conte is trying hard to get the team improved and this can definitely help Conte to have Scott McTominay in this team. Scott McTominay was playing for MAcnshter United for 22 years and he said goodbye to his fans in this team recently. Scott McTominay played in 255 games for his team.

That is a pretty bold move and probably Conte was one of the major reasons why McTominay decided to go for that step, but leaving the Premier League to play for Napoli is definitely not a career step forward. He has had his reasons for sure, it most likely wasn't the money and I wonder if he is aware that this could mean he may not be playing in the Champions League for a long time. They won their last two games and that's a big improvement for them, but I have my doubts that this is set in stone already that they are prepared to reach the top four ranks again. Signing McTominay is definitely a good thing, but losing Osimhen and getting Lukaku instead is still something that remains yet to be seen. Lukaku is unpredictable. He can have a great season or he can end up sitting on the bench. He sometimes isn't able to reproduce what he has done for the national team where he turned into an amazing goal scorer. It's an exciting season for them.

Victor Osimhen is key player and we know the importance of his presence, an exceptional player that have recalcitrantly refused to bend low or reduce his salary inother to follow his dream club. The European football is a tough one, we should clearly understands the basis of the league. Napoli have fallen from top position since their former manager, Luciano Spalleti left the club, their performance towards success have been dormant and this have been thrilling one for them. Perhaps Antonio Conte is here to make a better team and why blame Napoli for what happen to Victor Osimhen? The board should be held responsible for the bitter truth of keeping Victor Osimhen out of reach.

I almost forgot that today mark the end of the market transfer and so after today, no player is allowed to make a sale until January and this is far, no wonder I see Fabrizio Romano constantly tweeting about Napoli, Osimhen, Chelsea and Al Ahli. A lot of discussion went down but it seeks there is no agreements reach between all of them and Osimhen is left hanging because Napoli doesn't want him which means he is going to remain until next year, that's far though.

I don't know why alot of people are saying he should go to Chelsea, to do what? Go and play to satisfy the fans and received a peanut, if he is an European player that guy would be hype and bought expensively but Chelsea are playing pity card game and that's bad and I'm also happy he didn't accept Al Ahli because he is too young to go and waste his talent in Sauidi Arabia. If he wanted to go, he would have made a move a season before this one. Good luck to him though because I'm not sure if Napoli even want him at all.

Osimhen demand for a high salary and Napoli request for a large transfer fee made PSG withdraw from the pursuit of the Nigerian player. PSG have started to back down in the hunt for Osimhen because the performances shown by the players at the start of this season have been very impressive, even though they have just lost Mbappe who left for Real Madrid, the sharpness of their front line has increased.
It seems that PSG are not too reckless anymore in bringing in players, now they are more careful and not too easy in spending money. The current squad is adequate, Luis Enrique is also very satisfied with the performance shown by his squad, if they want to bring in new players, they will probably take advantage of the opportunity when the January transfer window opens.

If none of them are willing to give in, it will clearly be a loss for Napoli and of course Osimhen himself. Osimhen wants to leave Napoli, but he is too picky and wants a higher salary. Meanwhile, Napoli, who seems to be no longer happy with Osimhen, wants to sell the player because his salary is too big for them, but strangely enough, they themselves are making things complicated. They want big money, even though Osimhen was clearly not that good last season. So it stands to reason that PSG or even Chelsea might walk away from the deal.
The Osimhen and Napoli drama seems to be continuing now and it is indeed difficult to end when the player and the club no longer have the same goals which makes the situation more complicated than thought.
For now, Osimhen will definitely remain at Napoli, only for the performance issue we do not know whether he will still be empowered or not because seeing the current conditions we certainly know that what happens with Osimhen and Napoli is still unpredictable and it is possible that he will remain in the stands or on the bench because Conte has no plans with this player.

According to information from local media which I read it was reported that Conte does not really like Osimhen which makes the situation a little complicated if Osimhen who currently has problems with the club coupled with problems with the coach then it will be even more difficult for him to make a breakthrough for performance because indeed entering the squad alone will be very difficult if that happens even though it is also a gamble for Napoli where they do not include players who have good quality in terms of goal scoring instincts.

Going to Everton I think is a very good move for Armando Broja since he's very unlikely to get playing time at Chelsea if he stays back at the club. At Everton, he'll definitely get the chance to prove himself and if he can do that beyond every reasonable doubt, then he'll be getting a permanent deal at the end of the season or better still get interesting offers from other big European clubs. Chelsea was the busiest English club in the summer transfer window so it's expected that some of the players who knows they have stronger competitors in their respective positions will seek to leave the club. Good move for Broja if you ask me

This whole Osihmen saga is very sad one for the reigning African best player of the year and Also the 8th best player according to the Balon D’OR ranking. First of I will blame Napoli they have the most share of blame here. They have treated a player under contract with such disdain and contempt. And I don’t know maybe there should be a new rules where football governing bodies can investigate on cases like this. They wanted him out and set up a huge transfer after knowing that the player is under huge wage and this sent away most European clubs even PSG, it was just something else and it made it difficult for the player to actually move.

Now to Osimhen I think he has himself to blame also because the writings were on the wall that the contract renewal at Napoli was a bad idea most especially after the TikTok saga between them and he still went ahead to get it signed, Osimhen’s agency again aren’t Just the right people and they don’t know what to do, if it were top agents like Jorge Mendez, Napoli wouldn’t have treated the situation like they did, now Osimhen is on the verge of missing active football for like 6 months which is definitely not good for his early career

He can wait 4 months for the January market too. It is only 4 month away.
He will be paid anyway with his huge salary, it is only a lose lose for Napoli.

Also if he will without any team for 4 months, in the next market window his value will go down a lot.

The past summer his president wanted 130 mil €, this summer he wanted 80 mil €, in January if he still be here he will be valued what 50mil?

This should be a moral lesson to Osimhen as a player, he have the right to make decisions on where he wants to go, but sometimes, you need to follow trend and leave your personal benefits aside because your fans will definitely take you there one day. The case of PSG, there was no agreement between both the club and the player, and even though Luize Enrique was trying to make the deal worked, the negotiations going on between them was not agreed and they left the deal.
Chelsea was very close to agree a fee with Napoli, but the salary Osimhen demanded was very high for the team, and because Osimhen was seeing Al Ahli as a potential place to go, he rejected what Chelsea offered him; and now it is over because despite reaching an agreement between Napoli and Al Ahli, they have signed Ivan Toney over Osimhen and now Osimhen have to stay in Napoli if no team come for him within few hours.

Victor Osimhen doesn’t have much options left. He should just move to the Saudi Pro League. There is no future for him at Napoli. I can’t imagine Osimhen sitting in the Napoli reserves till he becomes a free agent. It doesn’t look good for him as big club would not be keen to sign a player that’s been inactive for that long. Staying on the bench will surely reduce his value in the transfer market. As for Chelsea, I don’t believe Todd Boehly was serious about getting a striker. They couldn’t get Osimhen neither could they secure the signature of Ivan Toney. Well done Chelsea!
Until the transfer window closed, no club had reached an agreement with Osimhen, his chances of joining Al Ahli were also very slim, because the Saudi Pro League club had recruited Ivan Toney from Brentford. Osimhen reportedly rejected the offer submitted by Chelsea, where the salary he received was lower than what he currently receives from Napoli. In my opinion, Chelsea are just trying to adjust their financial balance, where Enzo Maresca squad has a very fat squad. It is very unfortunate that the Osimhen transfer saga ended in failure, it was very ridiculous for a player who was labeled with a price of 130 million. Sure enough, Osimhen is no longer in Conte plans this season, and the number 9 jersey now belongs to Lukaku. The possible option is to stay even though he is no longer Conte mainstay player this season. The January transfer window is the most logical option for Osimhen.
