On the other hand, I think the opposite is true, Cancelo still has a chance to return to Europe considering that his quality is still the same as when he defended Manchester City or Barcelona and his move may only be to temporarily calm the atmosphere regarding his unclear future this season. Cancelo certainly doesn't think too much even though he lowers his level for a while so he can continue playing on the field and of course the salary there is much more enjoyable.
It may seem as a suprise to most people but I'm not really suprised he chose to move over to Al-Hilal, he's 30 years and most players around that age bracket currently see the Arab League as a retirement plan moreover which player at that age bracket won't be convinced by the offer coming from those Arab clubs, well their are some players with the talent as he's who would still want to enjoy playing in top European League and participate in several big competitions but I think things changed cause majority of them are now considering the huge salary and the fact that they'll still get playing time is enough to give them a second thought. I expected Joao Cancelo to be signed permanently by Barcelona or secure a deal with another big European team cause I watched him play in the Euros and he was so fantastic to watch. Well, like you said, the salary would be enjoyable and it's enough to make him remain in that league and I doubt if he'll return back to Europe but on a second thought, he should based on his skills and some big teams should be going after him after he puts on up a show at Al-Hilal this season.
Actually Joao Cancelo decision to go to the Saudi Arabian League is already gambling with his own fate and putting everything that smells of Europe. The point is, even though he has the opportunity to return, the salary there is more than enough, 30 years old with a salary that is not small and there are still many facilities that he can enjoy outside of his salary. I still remember that not all European players are comfortable with Saudi Arabian culture, I hope Cancelo decision has been considered well. Once he has taken the step, the chance of returning to Europe is very small.

Do you have any idea about what Chelsea is up to these days?  Grin  They have signed another goalkeeper named Mike Penders for 20 million euros.

https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1828373088632778848

This is their 7th goalkeeper in the squad... Just what are you going to do with this many goalkeepers?  Huh  Just as what they are going to do with around 40 players... There isn't any transfer policy. They are just focused on buying more and more every day. This is overspending for nothing. Boehly needs to know when to stop. He isn't hiring people for his company. This is football. You don't keep unnecessary amount of players in the squad not to cause discomfort among the players.

the recruitment they did this summer was ridiculous, on average the players Chelsea bought this time were players who were not necessarily able to improve the club's performance in the premier league, how can the management easily spend money on such ridiculous purchases, and how do they manage these players, Todd Boehly really destroyed Chelsea's old image, he can't manage the club well, I'm sure most of the blues fans are fed up with what he did to their beloved club and I'm sure Chelsea will face many problems in the future.
Chelsea have plans but with the constant signings of these young players, I must say that I'm fed up and wouldn't welcome or stand another chance of their signings. These new signings are absolutely not relevant to me, instead they should divert into another dimension, we need a striker and not a pack of players that are underage. Perhaps we totally understand what Todd Boehly is trying to do here, making sure the future of the club is in safe hands, we get that. Todd Boehly have to make proper changes and take bold steps if he's keen on executing promising plans for the club.
I think Osimhen is a must for the team under these conditions. With Osimhen's transfer to Chelsea, Chelsea can play very good matches in the attacking area. Moreover, sometimes if Jackson joins him, we can watch matches with lots of goals, just like the match played last week where they scored 6 goals. There are millions of people who want to watch Chelsea's old days now.
Osimhen is always a good choice for a team where he goes because he is very talented and excellent footballer also knows how to play accordingly to the game plan and execute the plan perfectly so that's the reason he is a 1st priority for every manager to take on this player.

I just read that this is the first time Chelsea are having their first meeting with Napoli on Osimhen to see how they can bring him over to Stamford bridge, one thing that is still discouraging Chelsea from signing Osimhen is his wages. However, if Osimhen can be brought to the club, there will be a great change in their attack and scoring goals will not be a problem to Chelsea.

Buying young lads is not the major thing but buying a professional player thay his contribution is needed immediately and will improve the team performance. Chelsea is rich but they are making wrong decisions on the kind of players that is needed to get a good result and performance this season.

Liverpool is said to have reached an agreement with Chiesa and they are also preparing alternatives for the Premier League. I am sure that Chiesa is ready to fight to win the jersey without expecting to be in the first 11. Juventus lost by selling him but they will definitely buy a player to replace him before the end of the transfer season. Liverpool is a strong team and we will probably see matches where Chiesa will enter the game later and carry the team with his speed.

For now time being Chelsea are signings too many young players which are good but also bad on the same side because their squad consist of only new young players and some old and experienced player which is not enough for any team to win the title from that kind of side.

Cancelo to Al Hilal Here We Go

It is no surprise that he no longer has a place in Europe, his fate is often loaned without clarity and his playing time is uncertain. Man City let him go with 25 million Euro, but at least there he can play with enough time and of course salary. Maybe everything can end in Europe and it will be difficult to return.
This is one of the surprises that happened throughout the summer and who would have thought that Cancelo would accept an offer from a Saudi league team. Initially I thought he would join one of the teams in Europe after Manchester City could not control him. What is clear is that Cancelo's joining Al-Hilal has added to the list of European players who have come and made the Middle Eastern league even more popular.

On the other hand, I think the opposite is true, Cancelo still has a chance to return to Europe considering that his quality is still the same as when he defended Manchester City or Barcelona and his move may only be to temporarily calm the atmosphere regarding his unclear future this season. Transferring too many players and trying to build a good and quality squad are two different things. I think Chelsea is mixing these two things. There are too many players in the team and this transfer policy is on the world's agenda. The common comment of everyone who follows sports news is "What is Chelsea trying to do?". What is Chelsea really trying to do with these transfers.

They could have used the money spent on transfers to develop their squad in a more logical way. I wonder if they are thinking of selling all these players for very high prices or if they are creating such a transfer strategy.

A strange offer considering that Napoli bought Osimhen for 70 million + bonuses (I think 10 million) and during his game at Napoli Osimhen certainly didn't become cheaper since they extended his contract with a salary increase. I don’t know why you should indicate your interest (if you really have one) with such a small amount.
However, Napoli activated Osimhen's high clause if no one redeems then Napoli is unlikely to sell at a low price, but the Arab club will usually give the green light as long as there is a chance with the player... It's a pity that Osimhen has to go to Arabia for money but at Napoli like him will be ignored, while negotiations with Chelsea and PSG will be tough.

The news says that PSG is no longer an option and Osimhen is choosing between Chelsea and Al Ahli. I hope the Arab club is just a lever for him to get better conditions at Chelsea, because if he sees a move to Saudi Arabia as a real possibility, then this is the biggest drop in ambition I have seen among young talents. As I understand it, Napoli won't hold him by demanding the full amount of the buyout clause, after all, they already have a replacement + Osimhen is quite expensive in terms of salary. Selling him would be a normal step.
When they previously continued to hold Osimhen at a high price when PSG made an offer, but Napoli is rumored to now release Osimhen at a cheap price to the Saudi Arabian team, doesn't that look quite strange?
Let's say what you are saying is true if Napoli sells Osimhen cheaply because they have got Lukaku, didn't Napoli actually can get Lukaku from the beginning even if they released Osimhen to PSG because indeed since the beginning of the Chelsea season has confirmed that they will sell Lukaku without any option for a team willing to pay 30 million euros, but Napoli did not do it and rather used Osimhen as a bargaining chip to get a lot of money, but in fact they actually sold Osimhen to the Arab League even below their previous purchase price, to be honest if you think about it I think Napoli deliberately threw Osimhen to the Arab League maybe to hinder his current career, because from the beginning Osimhen was only interested in moving to PSG, but Napoli actually prevented him even though PSG dared to buy Osimhen above the price given by Al Ahli.

I have always advocated that any young player that want to sign contract with any club should consider their own personal clause more than the present money that is being offered him. Victor osimhen no doubt is still young but he is a Nigerian and he knows what money is and has many things to do with money, if going to Saudi Arabia will give him big money to maintain his self and his family he should go rather than reducing his pay and going for a loan in Chelsea who is not even in the Europa League let alone Champions League.

To the best of my knowledge, this Saudi Arabia clubs do not give strict clause in their agreement. Surprisingly, they could even give Victor an option to leave next year if he wishes. That is freedom.

Have bad relationship with Pep Guardiola make Joao Cancelo loss his position with Manchester City and have been last two season loan for other team from Bayern Munich until Barcelona. Its surprising after reach agreement deal for joining Saudi Pro League team Al Hilal because Joao Cancelo have good performance with Barcelona last season and get regular position but Manchester City prefer sell him outside from European teams.

Manchester City on advantage position after success getting 25 million euro as fee transfer because Joao Cancelo have outside from Pep Guardiola tactician and The Citizen have close loan option for any European teams interested to get him. No doubt, one thing interested from Saudi Pro League team because huge payment salary and receiving 15 million euro for three season.

Good luck for Joao Cancelo after accepting offer from Al Hilal and will meet Cristiano Ronaldo as his team mates for national team
There is no doubt a huge lost for the player and clubs because his performance was never been bad in last few years but sadly due to have problems with Pepe Guardiola he is having problematic time so he decided to go Al Hilal with 3 years contract most chances now his career at European clubs are ended because things will be never like this after three years, and he had to manage for staying there maybe he had extension.

Due to Cristiano Ronaldo presence he can enjoy his stay in Saudi Arab because life is never been easy for the person who is going first time there, but he can achieve good performance which will be helpful for him as he still important part of Portugal team where he can bring good results but now for having back to European club it is not easy even possible but challenging for him.

But with him going to Liverpool means Juventus loses a pretty important figure. Juventus doesn't care anymore to the Chiesa. They did dirty to him, and the decision to cash in him has proven if Juventus is not need him anymore. Chiesa was not an important figure since he was injury prone and that's why they let him leaves for only 15 mio.

And for Liverpool, signing Chiesa indicates that they are preparing a backup for Salah in case he doesn''t extend his contract which is gonna end in 2025. But I'd say it's a no brainer with him costing only 15 million.

Hopefully, he doesn't come with crazy wage demand despite his cheap price.
As a rotation option Chiesa is not bad, Liverpool will definitely benefit from the transfer deal, indeed it can only be realized if Chiesa avoids injury. Thiago Motta seems to prefer a one-striker formation, and Dusan Vlahovic is more reliable to fill the number 9 position at Juventus. Statistically, Thiago Motta decision does look very right, Juventus looks more productive and appears more aggressive. However, I don't think this is the end for Chiesa, he can add new color to Liverpool front line this season. 15 million is a bargain for an experienced striker, and with Chiesa still very young, this is a smart investment.

Previously Chiesa had been linked with Man United, Barcelona, Tottenham and Arsenal, but in the end Liverpool managed to win the race to get his signature. Chiesa froze 32 goals and 23 assists while strengthening Juventus, if he had not often been injured he could have frozen better statistics. Reportedly if this transfer can go quickly, Chiesa has the opportunity to make his debut greeting Liverpool when facing Man United. I think Arne Slot really has to apply a special strategy for Chiesa, so that he avoids being prone to injury.

Roma and Milan has thinking possibility to swap Alexis Saelemaekers for Tammy Abraham and both parties still under negotiation to talking about this transfer however if this transfer happened i think this is good for both teams because Milan still look for one front player and they indeed interesting to Tammy Abraham since few month ago and for Roma although Dybala has decide to stay but Roma want at least to buy one more player on winger position and Alexis Saelemaekers seems good choice

Source : https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1828729697745690981
It makes sense to trade players without paying a transfer fee. Teams don't have to pay millions of Euros. This is very popular in basketball, but for some reason it is not applied much in football. I think a change between Abraham and Saelemaekers would be a possible deal if it would satisfy both teams and players. Milan and Roma are both big teams, I don't think it would be a problem for the players.

Now Chelsea have Kepa, Bettinelli, Sánchez, Petrovic, Jorgensen, Bergstrom and Penders, WOW. While most of top teams only have 2-4 goal keepers.

The club does not see the signing of Mike Penders as stupid. The 19-year €20m ($22.3m) signing is not joining Chelsea immediately, he will remain in Genk on loan where he would gain more experience.  Chelsea's head coach Enzo Maresca is focusing on building a future team of young players. He said his now concerned about offloading some of the excess players, but I think it is too late. In a few days, the transfer window will close and many players might be forced to remain in Chelsea, even when they are not part of the coach's plans.
My issues is not about signing all these players but the fee is too alarming for me, FFP is in the corner of all this, let's be frank there's a high tendency that he will not even make it to the first time after about 3 to 4 years just like Scolani who is nothing is being said about him now and may even be sold for a lesser fee.

All these huge fee just to get some teenager hasn't worked for Chelsea at least he should channel this in improving Cobham more at least we have gotten more quality players from there and made better money selling some than all these stars.

Kepa Arrizabalaga's contract will expire next year and it seems he has successfully secured a loan deal with Bournemouth, where he will stay for one year. The Spanish goalkeeper is interested in reuniting with current Bournemouth coach Andoni Iraola who was part of the goalkeeper's former club Athletic Club.

Within the next forty-eight hours, there might be more news about Chelsea players leaving Stamford Bridge.
I guessed Kepa may likely get his career back for the better there where there will be little eyes on him, he is amazing except for his costly mistakes often which is why I also have issues with Sanchez, now I wonder what will be the fate of Petrovic now, since I guessed he might just be a third choice or even worst now depending on Enzo Maresca choice.
Todd Boehly is now on the verge of running business with Chelsea football club, people are only looking at the signing of these players as just to come in and only play for Chelsea, I doubt. This season, Chelsea Todd Boehly has come out fully for Business with Chelsea football club, by going on capturing of these potential young star early now that their market value isn't much high and with the hope of selling them when they're ripped and thereby profiting way higher than the amount they initially bought them, else Chelsea won't be having up to 7 keepers in there just for keeping’s sake and to helping Chelsea lift trophies.
