I won't call it shocking but a normal move. Once you fail or perform less than expected, you will find yourself not fitting with the club anymore and better to restart somewhere else, it can works better.
For example, Aubemayang has a similar situation with Arsenal but once he moved to Barcelona, he played way better. BTW Real Madrid will be pleased having less salaries, especially Bale one.

I think Dembele will prefer to stay if he has the chance to extend his contract in Barcelona. But if he must leave Barcelona and choose these two EPL teams, I assume he prefers Liverpool to Chelsea. Liverpool is a stronger club and has a better reputation lately. They finished as a runner-up in EPL and became the finalist in the UCL competition. Chelsea only finished in 3rd place in EPL and can't do much in international competition. They also have an internal problem after the war of Russia vs Ukraine. For the safest option, Dembele should go to Liverpool.

Because this player didn't fit into Barcelona's game, he obviously doesn't want to sit on the bench, he's young and wants to play further and develop his career. I can't say he's a bad player, Barcelona just doesn't suit him, he should have left earlier... I doubt the team themselves will want to extend his contract. But the English league might be to his liking

Yeah actually chelsea linked with neymar as well as dembele.

What a transfer if both players successfully landed in the stamford bridge.
Neymar might be a tough one but dembele would be an easy transfer to make as he is trying to leave barcelona for many times now , we'll see

He is a proffesional player and even if Bayern decided not to let him leave because of some reason, there will be compensation for that probably in form of wage or some other agreement. It might affect his form if he is unhappy with his situation but there is no other choice for him once the transfer window is closed so the only option left will be him to keep on playing for the club

Honestly though, Bayern will most likely let him leave but they are currently waiting for better deal with Barcelona

Honestly, if I should jump into this, I think Chelsea has enough wingers and that will eventually be a wrong buy and move for them.
They lost some defender's already, they should make some replacement in those area's.
The likes of Werner, Ziyech, Hudson Odoi and Pulisic can make that up, else the coach only wants to unite with the former Dortmund player, did they work together ? At Dortmund ? Rudiger is gone, Christensen and Marcos Alonso will follow suit.
Callagher currently playing at Crystal Palace will be back to Chelsea next season and they also need too fix Kante, either sell or get a replacement for him, he's getting worned out. Dembele for me are just speculations.

It is really interesting to me to come across news like this. According to news, Sadio Mane has decided to leave Liverpool this summer. It looks like he wants a new adventure from now on even though he has been having great years with Liverpool. For now, Bayern Munich are speculated to be the number one contender to sign him but I don't think that it will be limited to only them. There must be some other big clubs that would like to see a great player like Mane in their squad too. And who knows maybe one of those teams would be Real Madrid after Mbappe extended his contract. In this case I quite agree with what you said but on the other hand I still feel that this is still Fifty-fifty and indeed the possibility of him moving also still exists.
Currently he is in his final days at Liverpool there is no new contract agreement and he is still silent about his future.
Currently it is quite difficult to determine what he will do because regardless of anything this will also definitely affect him in the future if he is wrong in making decisions here

Ousmane Dembele wasn't starting games for Barcelona at that start of last season cause he had quite a lot of problems with the club then, he also struggled with recurrent injuries at one time too, as a matter of fact it was almost certain that he was on his way out of the club during the January transfer window, but he managed to stay one way or another.

Afterwards he has been in scintilating form for Barcelona, down till the curtain was drawn on last season, i am pretty sure he is in Xavi's plan for next season, that doesn't mean he can't be sold though, because it is of course down to the player if he wants to stay or leave, and if Dembele decides to go, Barca will definitely sell him for the right price, he would be good for Chelsea by the way, as they look to make useful additions to their squad for next season after a disappointing end to last season.

I don't see any reason for Sadio Mane to leave now. He is doing good at Liverpool now and I didn't see anything like he was unhappy or the team weren't satisfied with his performance. He has made a good trio with Salah and Diaz (or Firmino). Therefore, I expect to see him extending his contract with Liverpool and continuing on his career here for a longer time period. Liverpool fans also must be happy with his performance so far and I guess they wouldn't like to see him leaving too.

I don't think Sadio Mane really want to leave Liverpool, he only needs an improved contract extension from the club and I doubt Liverpool are willing to do that now. He is an important player in the team but it's one that Klopp can do without, even this season he came off bench for a player believed to be that important in a team.

Ousemane Dembele won't be a bad additional to Chelsea considering his pace and skills, he is a good player with a lot of footballing experience,, but Chelsea will have to do away with one of their attacking wingers to creat chance for Dembele,,with ziyech, pulisic,Werner and odoi among them.. but giving Chelsea pattern of 3-4-3 I think Dembele will have to work on his defensive side of the game in order to help the team defensively,, it's really going to be a busy summer for Chelsea in regards to player movement in and out of the club,,but quality addition needs to be the response of the club, in other to mount a serious title challenge next season,, because the likes of Liverpool and Manchester city are still going to come back strong for a serious title challenge,, if given the right backing from the board Thomas Tuchel can add quality players to the team..

He is not right. He has a valid contract and he is obliged to fulfill it, otherwise he is a fraudster. If he wants to break the contract, he must find a club willing to pay the agreed amount for him. At the moment it looks like he is demanding to be allowed to go to Barcelona for free. This is obvious nonsense. If he's such a sought-after player, he should be able to easily find a club to pay the release fee for him.
