The statement of Lewandowski that he made a few days ago that his history at Bayern Munich is definitely over was very clear and i don't think he will have a future at Munich anymore and it would be pretty stupid from the Bayern officials to insist that Lewandowski has to stay another year.
I am pretty sure that his transfer to Barca will be announced within the next few weeks.

I think the switch to Barca could help both him and the Catalan giants. Not as if they are not good, but I feel with his presence there, it will support aubameyang and the rest. A statement credited to Lewandowski is like he is being forced to leave Bayern after a decade with club and from all indications I believe his time is up in that club even though his contract end in 2023 probably the signing of Mane from Liverpool might threaten his starting eleven or he might be confined to bench that is why he is being forced to leave, however I believe a great player like Lewandowski deserve some respect based on his previous and past achievements for the club, whatever the case Bayern CEO, Oliver Kahn should allow Lewandowski finish his contract at the end of 2023.
