I'm also surprised to see Kylian Mbappe deciding not to leave his current team. Because there have been so many rumours that he was going to leave PSG and sign for Real Madrid. It seems like Real Madrid and Mbappe couldn't reach an agreement about the salary. Some time ago, they already had a disagreement about that. Maybe Mbappe extended his contract for a few more years but he can still leave earlier depending on PSG's success level in this period I assume. We will find out about it later.
A good decision for Kylian Mbappe because he decided not to leave PSG when he was 23 years old. With his abilities, in 2 years Real Madrid and other big clubs can still have an interest in Kylian Mbappe.
PSG and Kylian Mbappe still have a common goal, of course it is very good if they run their interests together.
Money can change Everything  Grin. At least for now we can assume that the very large salary given by PSG can make Mbappe decide to stay at PSG. Of course, this is a big blow for Real Madrid because they failed to get the attacker they really wanted and I think Real Madrid also has regrets that they have abandoned their intention to sign Haaland because they thought they could get Mbappe.

Expecting Pogba to move to PSG but didn't work!
Mbappe to Real Madrid didn't work.
Then next should be Zidane to Paris saint as they deserve a big name to handle and coach them.

Pogma loves that city, the club itself and the league he plays, many analysts even say that Pogba lived the best years of his career as a player in the years 2012 to 2016.
Yep, this personal feeling can be the reason for him to choose Juventus. Every player must play well if he feels comfortable in that club. And if Pogba only feels comfortable playing in Juventus, he should go there. Money won't play the role so much in this case. So, whatever the money is offered by other clubs, he probably refuses it.

Even PSG could pay higher salaries than Juventus, but they are having some financial difficulties and need to sell someone first.
Does PSG experience a financial problem?
I just know about it, I think PSG has a big amount of money and never gets a problem about it.
But PSG seems to have no chance to sign him although they have no financial problem. Pogba must prefer to go to Real Madrid if he doesn't want to be a Juventus player again.

I still feel confident about the thing that we are going to see Mbappe at Real Madrid next season. Interestingly, he is still thinking about his options now but I don't expect him to decide to stay and play for his current team for at least one more season. PSG are still a hopeless case about winning the Champions League while Real Madrid are much better about it. Mbappe can play for them so many years and become even a Real Madrid legend too.
Whole this is your thought and I looks cool. If I am to be in Mbappe's shoes, I will stay in PSG for two more seasons. After all Mbappe is still young, after two years, Real Madrid will still come for him.
Mbappe should spend more time in PSG to have the record of the world most paid player. What is the essence of the football, is it not to make money? If I were him, I will not make that mistake of leaving psg. If he is in PSG, atleast he is sure of going to Champions league every year, with a better coach like Zidane, he could be a Champions league winner, who knows.?

After talking about this topic, Mbappe made up his mind not much time later. And he decided to stay at the end. I must admit that this decision made me surprised as I was waiting for him to choose Real Madrid. But you might be right about the thing that Real Madrid can still sign him anyway next season or after that. It is obvious that Real Madrid want to see him in the squad in the long term. They would be ready to spend more money for him too then I guess. Because they might need to pay a transfer fee too as they missed this chance.

I hope he doesn't regrets after all this year's, all the best to him.
Most Madrid fans never saw this coming, I think it's a good chance for the Brazilian Vinicius junior to blossom .
He should take a look at the past brazilians and all they have achieved and get inspired.
Mbappe might end up not winning the Ballon d'or, well he's a french player still has the chance too win.

I think both Pogba and Di Maria to Juventus are done deals.

Several journalists and sources close to the club are reporting that everything has been agreed. Based on the information that is available, Pogba has a financially better offer from PSG, but he turned it down. I guess the player knows deep down that he should have never left Juventus for financial reasons. Juve is the only club he performed at and where he was happy playing football. Hopefully we can see more of the same next season. If what is being written is true, his salary will be cut by 50% at Juventus.

Di Maria is a veteran but still in great form. All sources suggest he will only sign for one year with the possibility to extend for another year. He is the type of player Juventus doesn't have currently. An offensive midfielder capable of collecting double digit assists per season.
It is surprising to me how Paul Pogba found Juventus as a home more than Manchester United. He was first a Man U boy before he went to Juventus. Though he was sensational at Juventus, that should not mean he is of Juventus. Pogba throughout his career in Manchester United was never consistent. He didn't see himself as a future legend of Manchester United. He owes allegiance to Juventus, so I won't be surprised to know that he will go for pay cut there instead of a better Salary at Psg.

As for Di Maria, I wish him well. He is the type of player that is always committed anytime any pitch.
It's never surprising to me that Paul Pogba decides to finally return to Juventus. Some quarter of Manchester United fanbase wished he never left them and as for PSG, there's no way Pogba is picking them ahead of Juventus.  Juventus is the club where he burst into limelight after Sir Alex Ferguson saw nothing good in him and sold him off. Juventus is home and apparently he wants to finish the rest of his prime with the club.

In itself it is understandable that Mbappe has decided to stay at PSG. They've had a bad season in CL, but in principle it's still one of the best teas in the world. Individually, they simply have the best team in the world. And I think it also means something to him that he can still play in a team with Messi. And he gets a good salary, which is not unimportant in the end. You can always go to another club later.

Yeah undestrable.

300milion after taxes in 3 years.  Roll Eyes

And it is not over yet, it has just started.

Everybody said here that Mbappe will o most 100% move to Real Madrid but that didnt happen and im glad he stays in PSG and can write history there. Also i think he wasnt crazy to drop that amount of money that PSG was just throwing at him. PSG board barely made him stay

Well one thing though, he is not going to be getting the peak that he always wanted to if he stays there but he is freaking rich now for sure. Im not sure about how much PSG offered him but its going to be shitload of money and not to mention the portion that they gave to his family to ensure that Mbappe will stay with PSG. Kinda unexpected though, was hoping that he moved away from that 2nd tier league
Well according to some reports .. his mom stated that both offers from real madrid and psg are identical .. which means i think it's not only about money , as real madrid might offering the same amount as psg offered to him.

Could be some other things like promising him to play side by side with cristiano ronaldo? Lol i'm pretty sure something that nobody cannot reject it.

Until he sign the contract, I will stay unsure about the whole story. PSG has good players but the team is dysfunctional.. Neymar isn't helpful most of the time, Messi is playing with 50% or less from what used to be. The others have fluctuating performance, Di Maria is out.
Moving to Real Madrid would be a wise thing but staying in PSG will make him richer without guaranteeing an European title namely CL..

As for Mbappe personally, it is normal that he stayed at PSG - judging by the rumors, he will receive 300 million simply for signing a contract + 100 million a year after taxes.
But now it has become obvious that his whole saga with the transition to Real Madrid was just a farce made in order to get more money out of the crazy sheiks. This is a very dirty game. I think that now at Real Madrid and at PSG he has lost his dignity.
I hope at least he does not turn into Neymar - 2 although now this option looks a foregone conclusion.

Now, as for PSG - I don't understand how this club fits into the framework of the financial fair play? It seems that the sheikhs are paying not only footballers but also UEFA officials to turn a blind eye to the crazy transfers that this club regularly turns (the Neymar scheme was also as murky as possible and violated the spirit of the law).

My curiosity about Mbappe's future has been answered, finally Mbappe chose to extend his contract with PSG. And as you said this turned out
to be just a strategy from Mbappe to get more money from PSG. Hopefully Mbappe is not like Neymar whose performance has decreased after
getting a big salary, but Mbappe's decision has definitely made the competition between Real Madrid and PSG hotter, because it is certain that
Real Madrid is very disappointed with Mbappe's decision. Regarding PSG, it seems that there is a flow of funds to the top brass at UEFA,
because several times PSG violated the transfer policy, and did not get any sanctions. This fact is sad, but I believe PSG will not be able to buy
a trophy. Because they have a lot of star players, it doesn't mean they will get trophies easily. For the Ligue 1 trophy maybe next season PSG
will be able to get it again, but I believe next season PSG will again fail to win the Champions League trophy.

They are not the best team in the world this year, but they are not far away. I think in midfield they have to get better. Everything else is very strong. Offensively, they don't have to change anything. There Goalkeeper is Donnarumma and he is superclass. The defence is good and very well coordinated. The midfield has the potential for more.

PSG have just confirmed on their official website that Mbappe has extended his contract with the club:

https://en.psg.fr/teams/first-team/content/kylian-mbappe-extends-contract-with-paris-saint-germain-until-2025

https://twitter.com/i/status/1528085635860504579

Mbappe extended the contract until 2025 and made the following statement:
''Kylian Mbappé: "I would like to announce that I have chosen to extend my contract at Paris Saint-Germain, and of course I am delighted. I am convinced that here I can continue to grow at a club that provides everything necessary to perform at the highest level. I am also delighted to continue to play in France, the country where I was born, where I have grown up and where I have made my name.

I would like to thank the President, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, for his trust, his understanding and his patience. I would also like to thank all the fans of Paris Saint-Germain, both in France and around the world, for their support, especially in recent months. Together, side by side and ambitious, we will make magic in Paris.”

It is clear that the end of this story is a big shock and a blow to Real's ambitions, and obviously we will have a big football war between these two clubs in the coming months.
All the while the European and world football public was convinced that Mbappe had made a firm decision and that he wanted to play for Real but in a sudden turnaround Mbappe decided to stay at PSG.
This is a really shocking end to this story that has been going on for two years now and PSG’s big win over Real.

One of the logical reasons now is only money talking here Cheesy
Apart from a bad season or whatever it was in the UCL, actually he also has nothing to lose if he is in Madrid especially with a fairly good status because they are candidates for champions now.
But indeed he still wants to be in a league which is quite lacking in Minati now even though there are some good players there but there is still very little competition there

The Best Tipster on the Forum!!
I saw Fabrizio Romano's tweet today which was indicating that Kylian Mbappe has made up his mind after talking to Florentino Perez. He is not leaving PSG officially. I've heard that he has already reached an agreement for a three-year contract with them. I really wonder how much money PSG offered to him.  Grin  Because it must be money related I think. Actually I wasn't expecting him to choose more money this time as Real Madrid have been his dream club since his childhood. But it turns out that he still wants to stay longer. I also wonder if they promised him to send Messi from the club or something like that.
Mbappe made a very good choice. I guess Mbappe is here on Bitcointalk and have seen my post Grin. The last post I made about him is that he is still young, about 23 of age and there are alot of time for him to join Real Madrid in the future. The essence of football is money, since he is going to be the highest paid, he should stay back at PSG and enjoy his money. Maybe when he is 25, he can go to whatever dream club of his.
However bad the season will be, he is sure of lifting the ligue 1 title and coming to Champions league every season. Who knows if PSG can hire a good coach and they can win Champions league.

Mbappe rejected Real Madrid's offer as he had received a better one. Neither Haaland nor Mbappe signed for Real Madrid. With Mbappe and Haaland, Real Madrid had plans to build a super team! Mbappe had the perfect opportunity to see if he is interested in making history or if he is another Neymar! We'll see whether or not this decision is wise, bold and brave.

I really don't think this decision is wise because he could have achieved so much with Real Madrid and he just wasted that opportunity.  for some reason, I think he is not going to be able to play very well in the next season and after that Real Madrid is not going to want him because by that time Real Madrid might have found someone else. I really don't like this decision.
