Yes. I bet you are mistaken here, In 2019, at the age of 19, João Félix was an Atlético Madrid player, he signed for Atlético Madrid for a -recorder fee of 126 million euros. João Félix only played on loan at Stamford Bridge in the second half of the 2022/23 season. But ultimately João Félix's performances were not impressive enough for The Blues to buy this star permanently. Last season, Felix continued to be loaned to Barca. And less than two years after an unimpressive loan spell, Chelsea have decided to buy João Félix permanently, signing a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge. But if you want to ask where João Félix will play at Chelsea, I don't have an answer. Grin

For Joao Felix to sign a 7 years contract at Chelsea, I think the club  already consider him a big plan for the future but my question is why do they think Felix is going to deliver performance for the club than what he did when he spent last two seasons at the club. Considering the number of quality players in the Chelsea team that can play in the positions Joao Felix can play as well, I think the club doesn't need him but it seems the club manager have a different resolve about the Portuguese star. I would actually love to see Joao Felix defile all the odds and succeed at Stamford Bridge.
Of course, Felix is a good player and we can't doubt his contribution to the team as long his giving enough playing time. A seven years contract for a 24 years old player isn't a bad deal, this is currently where he supposed to be in his prime and it was a great move bringing him back to the club. Waiting to see, Felix will be making the teams top 21 or even the first eleven because I still can't find a better forward who deserves that position other than him, Chelsea's forward is currently a mess apart from the signing of Neto and Palmer who has already been the big force there.
Chelsea have just signed Pedro Neto. In addition, Cole Palmer is still present. How will coach Enzo Maresca use Felix when Chelsea's attack is so crowded? I think Chelsea's £52m move to sign Felix was a risky one. Felix has great potential but is past his prime to develop his skills. Felix had a rather lackluster performance for Chelsea in the second half of the 2022/23 season. Therefore, there is no guarantee that he will be successful in this return.

Joao Felix's main position is second striker and he can be placed in 2 other positions Left Winger and Centre-Forward/striker well, I think this is the main consideration for Chelsea before deciding to bring him in I mean can replace if there is an injured player. What makes me wonder is that Joao Felix market value is currently 30 million but why did Chelsea pay 52 million? that's almost 100% of its market value, on the other hand Joao Felix performance was not very impressive so it can be assumed that Chelsea is throwing money away.

We don't know if Chelsea consider him a future investment as he is still only 24 years old this means that there is still potential that can be improved that's why Chelsea signed him for the next 7 years although Chelsea could offer a 3 year contract as a trial. But yeah, let's see how Chelsea deploys this player this season who knows the coach has a plan.

Sure. Felix can play as an attacking midfielder, and if needed he can also play on the wing. Felix can be used as a false 9 in Chelsea's attacking scheme. When Chelsea plays the ball, he will play deep as a midfielder to help Chelsea have more options to attack. Then Felix will find the right moment to get into the box. He can do that very well.

By the way, Manchester United is willing to exchange Jadon Sancho with Chelsea player Raheem Sterling. It is known that Man United has been at odds with Jadon Sancho for a long time and the future of this player is also unclear. Ten Hag did not give him the opportunity to play. Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling also felt the same way at Chelsea. I think this Chelsea player exchange deal has been quite popular lately. They have also just officially exchanged their players Conor Gallagher with Joao Felix, while rumors of Lukaku's exchange with Oshimen are still ongoing.
A mutually beneficial decision for both clubs and both players, Jadon Sancho future at Manchester United is in doubt due to his feud with the manager, while Raheem Sterling is starting to lose his place in the first team. The player exchange option must be carried out by Chelsea because most of the players released are not included in Enzo Maresca plans, rather than being a burden on the club having to pay the salaries of players who do not contribute to the team, it is better to include them in the deal to bring in new players.

Chelsea have been the most active club in the transfer market with a large number of players having been brought in, reportedly they are in negotiations with Napoli to sign Osimhen and include Lukaku in the deal. If this transfer is successfully made official, then Enzo Maresca will find it easier to formulate a strategy because he already has a lot of players in his squad.

Have you seen this? Chelsea is topping this table with 10 players. They are trying their best to make the longest contracts with their players. Palmer has just extended his for example. I hope they don't do this with all of their players.  Tongue

Because the number of players is excessive now. There must be around 40 players. What will they do with this many players?  Huh  The Premier League allows 25 players to be registered, it must be the same for the Champions League too. Then so many players are staying out...
The English Premier League comes with challenges and we totally understand the pressure from these clubs when it have to deal with players. I've watch the table and it's quite a long one. This is consider a solid planning for the club. Todd Boehly have really tried from his end to secure lengthy profitable contracts for his key players and if you ask me, I must say the Blues are trying so hard to ensure they're backing up amazing stunning contracts for the promisin unforeseen future.

Dybala rejecting Saudi offer makes sense, when you are at that age, you do not want to go there yet and you want to play at a high level and while Roma isn't one of the best teams in the league, it's still a much better team than Saudi league teams, and considering he still has time to go somewhere else, we could say that it is possible for him to have a good result for a while longer. It's clear that he wanted to stay and he wants to show himself, he was great at Juventus too, don't know why he "dropped" to Roma, but I think if he plays well enough then he has a chance to go to somewhere much better.

In the end, Saudi would be the end of his career, it is very hard to go to Saudi and come back, even Kante is having hard time, so he wanted to postpone that a few more seasons and see if he can do fine, if he can then he will do better, if he can't then he will not suddenly have offers from Saudi league to stop, that will not be really that bad for him, he can go a few seasons later.
Yes. After much speculation about a huge salary move to Al-Qadsiah, Paulo Dybala has finally decided to stay at AS Roma, making the club's fans extremely excited. Dybala, 30 years old, still has a 1-year contract with AS Roma. At his current age, he can still play at the top level for a few more years, but is this the right choice? I am afraid that Saudi Arabia will not give him any more opportunities.
I know he still wants to play in Europe in a top football environment. However, the AS Roma board still wants Dybala to leave rather than stay, because they will get a decent amount of money in the transfer. Dybala started on the bench in the opening game of the new season. He only came on as a substitute for Zalewski in the 69th minute. After Daniele De Rossi took over, Dybala was no longer central to Roma's play. I don't know why Paulo Dybala is willing to stay at Roma.

Lukaku as one of the best strikers in the world cannot be challenged. We know that he has had some bad days and some bad games where he has missed some very good open chances to score goals, but he remains the best Belgian striker currently available. The coach of Napoli believes that Lukaku is important for his project and has confidence that he will be able to manage Lukaku properly that he becomes prolific again,  it can happen, Lukaku still has it in him.
He has the ideal posture as a attacker besides the ability of the ball in the air he also has the ability to play on the lower ball as one of the best attackers in his time. But after experiencing a few bad seasons and always loaned, it makes him lose his best game shape and even some coaches have said his body shape is too big, making it difficult for him to develop his best game.

Now he has entered the age of no longer young and deserves his performance slightly decreased. But if the coach understands what is needed then I am sure Lukaku will be a good player, sometimes having a midfielder who understands the attacker will give a dangerous duet on the front lines.

It's a good decision for both of them.

Both Sancho and Sterling have decent skills, they're still able to play, but it just their respective teams prioritized other players rather than them. More importantly both of them currently don't have reliable wingers, Rashford isn't that good anymore and Chelsea is keep swapping with new players.

I don't think a deal will happen for either of them because both Chelsea and Man United seem to be busy with other transfers. But it is actually a good option and could be a win-win solution for both Chelsea and Man United because it is still possible that those who are sidelined can shine again somewhere else. Not without reason, but Jadon Sancho and Raheem Sterling are basically good players and I guess they can do a lot if they are in the hands of the right coach.

It is quite interesting to wait for the continuation of this rumor, whether it's just lip service from the two big teams or will they make it happen at some point in the future.

Inter is finalising the purchase of player Thomas Palacios from Independete for a sum of around EUR 6.5 million. A young player of 21 years old, technically proficient and very keen on team play. I don't know the player very well but they speak quite highly of him and say he is ready for a European experience in one of the best European teams Do you have any opinions on the player?
I thought Inter Milan was done with their transfer this season but it turns out they are not done yet and still want to add ammunition to their squad, I don't know much about this player but it seems like Simone Inzaghi recognizes his characteristics and the player has good potential so Simone Inzaghi chose him, even though he doesn't have much experience in the European Leagues at least he is still young and he still has a lot of time to learn to become a potential player.

According to an official report from popular football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Napoli have finally reached agreement to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku from the club this summer. As we all know, the speculation concerning Lukaku's possible move to the Diego Armando Maradonna stadium have been reported on this thread on so many occasions but now, it seems the deal have finally been approved. For Lukaku, it's a good move as it'll give him the opportunity of reuniting with his former manager Antonio Conte while for Napoli, they've succeeded in getting their dream man for the no. 9 role at the club. Do you think Romelu Lukaku is going to have a successful spell at his new club?

Is this final? Honestly, I'm tired of talking about Lukaku who was still in a state of confusion some time ago. Grin

I'm glad Lukaku can finally stay at one club and not go back and forth to other clubs like what happened in the past few years. Even though this player is so loyal, unfortunately his contract with Chelsea puts him in a difficult situation to explain. Napoli has high hopes for him, especially since he is a prolific striker in Italy and his experience is also undoubted. Will he be successful at Napoli? The answer is yes and with the help of Antonio Conte it can be maximized.

Lukaku may not be very sharp as he used to be as a striker but let's watch him play for Napoli then we can know if he should go on and retire from football or Chelsea needs to work on their performance so their strikers can have the chance to score goals for them.

Finally, the long awaited deal by Napoli fans and their new manager Antonio Conte has been finalized, they should be very happy to have Lukaku in their squad because we have seen the effect of lack of reliable striker in their first match where they lost in their opening match.
Finally, the end of this long drama, Lukaku to Napoli too. Because indeed, the transfer season is almost over and Napoli really needs a forward player immediately, so that they do not experience bad match results again. Now, just waiting for Osimhen's fate.  Grin

This is fantastic news, finally this soap opera can be said to be over. Antonio Conte holds Romelu Lukaku in high esteem and has always wanted to have him in the teams he coaches. Lukaku can be at his best with Conte, hopefully Napoli will achieve great results this year thanks to Lukaku. But now I wonder what will happen to Osimhen, will he go to the Premier League or will he go to Ligue 1 in France?

Osimhen most likely will still stay much longer in the Napoli. His club is not keen on releasing him to another club, and they still want a very high price for him, despite the decline of Osimhen's performance. And it must be noted that no one is gonna buy Osimhen from Napoli if they're still asking for more than 100 millions.

Until Napoli realizes it, and decreases Osimhen's asking price, there will be no offer to come for him. Also, PSG has chosen to sign other players instead of Osimhen. Zero chance for him to go to the League one.

Napoli have finally done their job of finding a replacement for Osimhen and officially Lukaku has no place for him in the first team. After this Osimhen really has to leave because there is no reason to stay any longer. Lukaku is the player Conte wants. I respect his decision but why do Napoli still want to set Osimhen clause and not want to offload him? Wouldn't this sale give them money to buy a cheaper player and pay the rest to Chelsea.

So, finally, Chelsea has been able to sell this player Cheesy. This was one of the worst signings ever for Chelsea and they have lost so much money.
Bringing him for 97 million was the first mistake and after that Chelsea was still paying for that mistake till now.

They brought him in for such a huge amount of money, did not get any performance out of him, and at the end of the day they had to sell him for only 30 million. One of the biggest loss projects in recent times. The only thing bigger than this is probably Antony to Manchester United.

Anyway, I hope he will be able to perform better at Napoli. But let’s be honest, he is not the player that he once was and probably never will be again. The prime days of Lukaku are gone.
Honestly, now I only watch him for those Lakaka moments. Sometimes I even think if I was there instead of him I probably would have scored some of those chances  Grin.

Lukaku is not just currently one of the worst Chelsea's transfer flop ever, but will go down as one of the worst signings across all time in history, Lukaku couldn't even help Chelsea win in anything, selling Lukaku for a transfer fee of £30 million is even better than them keeping him at the club and continuing paying him that huge some amount of salary, if he remains at the club, it would have been a continued waste of resources for Chelsea football club.
Lukuku henceforth currently does not have anything to offer looking at his age and in terms of his physical strength to deliver.
Franctoshi, the same Lukaku you are calling names is the player that a professional coach is going after instead of a younger player Osimhen don't you think you should have a rethink concerning those names you are calling Lukaku? You may see Lukaku as a flog who couldn't help a team that is already having a bad performance already which you know but you can't dispute the fact the the player is good despite not having a good performance with Chelsea.

Lukaku may not be very sharp as he used to be as a striker but let's watch him play for Napoli then we can know if he should go on and retire from football or Chelsea needs to work on their performance so their strikers can have the chance to score goals for them.

Manchester United have brought in a young player from Mali named Sékou Koné, aged 17 and so far has no other track record other than playing for the Mali U-17 national team, playing as a midfielder and his price is only £1 million. Maybe he will be used as a young talent by Erik Ten Hag, there is nothing wrong because everything needs a process but for now if he is immediately played in the EPL competition this season then there is no guarantee that he can steal the attention. Let's just wait and see what kind of plan Erik Ten Hag wants to show.

source : Fabrizio

Hmm we can't track this player and we don't know which position he plays, but one thing I understand is that Manchester United are trying to invest in these young players even though previously we knew Manchester United was not a typical team like that they prefer to bring in players who are ready to compete and if in the end this investment fails I don't think it's a problem because they only spent 1 million when they brought him in, yeah at least it hasn't affected the team's finances even though they have spent 122 million on defense.

It seems that Manchester United are still aggressive in bringing in players, so far they have spent 164 million in the transfer window and it is estimated that Manchester United will spend more than 200 million for this season or the same as the last 2 seasons. For this season their focus is still on defense at least 4 of the total new players are in the defensive area.

This will open a door for Chelsea management to show their seriousness in signing Osimhen if they really wants to sign him. They need to put talks in place for negotiations because the players seems very desperate to leave Mapoli, and since Lukaku has now become a Napoli player, I am sure Osimhen will be worthless in the squad because Conte will not use him.

Congratulations to Lukaku, Chelsea, and the Napoli team for this successful deal.
Lukaku will surely have a good time here because their pattern of playing is similar to the one one Roma is using, and for him to have played under Conte, it will be easy for him to adapt to their style of play.

See, this is the problem of Barcelona that I was talking about. They sign players that they cannot afford. They have signed too many players for too high wages that they cannot be registered in La Liga. I do not see any other team facing problems like not being able to register their player for La Liga. They clearly have signed too many players and have offered too many wages to the players.

Messi, Busquets, Jordi Alba, and many others had to take a wage cut. I wonder how much money do they owe to the players at this point.
They have not yet paid the signing fee to Manchester City of Ferran Torres.

You whenever I hear of this problem faced by Barcelona the only thing that comes to mind is the corruption eating up this football association, this kind of crisis would have gotten smaller clubs relegated due to how many points that would be subtracted but I don’t think I have seen Barcelona facing any problems or threatened of sanctions even the ones that they bought without having to complete the fees should have gotten them this sanctions

Corruption is everywhere and since Barcelona is a big club regardless of the financial constraints they're facing, you don't expect the football association to just give them a sanction just like that. Even though Barcelona is into too many debts now but I feel given them a sanction will further worsen the situation because for a team like Barcelona that was once blossom during the time of Lionel Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, David Villa and some other intelligent players and to see the situation of the club now is really a thing of pity. The club's funds were mismanaged hence the reason for the financial crisis rocking the club now and from all Indications it seems it will take Barcelona time to recover because the debts they have gotten themselves into now is too numerous.
