What I understand is that they would like to have Frenkie De Jong. There may be better midfielders but they really don't leave their club. Mbappe is going to Real Madrid because I believe he knows that he doesn't have anything much to achieve staying in PSG. I think that is going to be the outcome after all the rumors.

I also think that it is almost sure that Mbappe will join Real Madrid this summer and that it has already been decided a few weeks ago at least but only not announced so far. I don't know about the reason why he has chosen Real Madrid as his new club but i could imagine it was not the money as i think that no other club offered a salary as high as Paris Saint Germain did. After all it is not really their own money because it comes from the sheikh. I guess that for a great player like him money is very important of course but he also wants to achieve something great and wants to play for a club that has a lot of prestige and a long history and Real is definitely such a club.

I believe the most realistic target for Robert Lewandowski should be Barcelona because he is just too old to play in the English Premier League right now because the competition in that league is way too high.

Money gives pleasure but we have to remember money can't give us happiness, the proof is PSG they feel very proud because they have a lot of money and can buy the players they want but they can't feel the happiness to lift the Champions League trophy, of course the players feel bored too, and want to find another club to be able to lift many trophies, and their names can be remembered by many people and their grandchildren.
