Arsenal make Coutinho decision
Arsenal are exploring the possibilty of making a move for Philippe Coutinho after his loan spell with Aston Villa comes to an end.
According to Sport, the Gunners are considering swooping for his services should the Villans elect not to activate their £33m option in their deal.

But then again if he didnt meet their expectations I see Arsenal taking him given the opportunity to buy.
If that's the case then I think Arteta is thinking of maybe change in formation in next season. We already have Odegaard perfect in central attacking midfielder position. Maybe he is thinking of deploying another central attacking midfielder in that case? If that's true then we will have one central defensive midfielder which will be either Xhaka or Partey filling in the role. Honestly seems unnecessary move. Coutinho is great but last thing we want is to add another addition to the bench. Also Coutinho is playing his role perfectly at Villa and Gerrard has heaped praises on couple of occassions so I think it is very likely that Villa might swoop him in triggering the buy option.
I think Philippe Coutinho can be a great addition to the Arsenal squad, but for him to play effectively in the Arsenal team they will have to change the formation certainly.
Because I don't think that the current formation fits him in the team perfectly. And if they are actually thinking about acquiring the player I think they will have to make some other changes in the squad. Otherwise, it might be just like the Coutinho we saw in Barcelona.
Well if Arsenal can sign Coutinho that isn't a bad idea atleast they will have an option for an attacking midfielder Odegaard is perfectly playing that role now, their is no need to change any pattern of the team, however there is the possiblity of Arsenal playing UCL next season EPL and FA cup inclusive thus there will the need for Arteta to rotate his players so as to rest some of these players to avoid fatigue if they play week in week out, Coutinho has been a very good and experience player, I remembered his exploits at Liverpool before signing for Barcelona were things didn't work out for him.
If Arsenal manage to play in the Champions League next season, then Arsenal must have a good squad depth. Coutinho could be a good cover
for Odegaard and Emile Smith Rowe, because like you said Arteta has to rotate his players so as not to get injured due to fatigue, because Arsenal is
likely to play in many competitions next season. But the problem is whether Coutinho is willing to move to Arsenal, which Coutinho will not get
guaranteed playing at Arsenal. Because Coutinho has the same position as Odegaard and Emile Smith Rowe who this season has been very bright.
Meanwhile, if Coutinho chooses Aston Villa, which is planning to also make Coutinho permanent, at Aston Villa it is possible that Coutinho can
get guaranteed play, because at Aston Villa Coutinho does not have many competitors. We'll see where Coutinho will choose, for sure Arsenal should
focus more on finding a striker, which is a position that Arsenal really need. Hopefully next season Arsenal can get a quality and productive striker.
